Writing Blarg: The Rescue fanfic[M-VSL]

Mission Time: 5 hours Later.

Mission scenerio:
[url=http://fanart.theotaku.com/view.php?action=retrieve&id=81525][color=red]The Emperor[/color][/url] has been captured and slowly being drained of his power by the Terran Confederation. Stripped of his armor and weapons, his life force fades away. In two weeks, he maybe dead.

[url=http://fanart.theotaku.com/view.php?action=retrieve&id=78457][color=red]Sakura Kuriagawa[/color][/url], the queen of Blarg has selected a tactical unit to help her rescue him.


With the Blarg Emperor in jeopardy, Sakura makes a choice to save her beloved husband. Fearing a all out war between the Terran Confederacy and the Blarg, Sakura choses to go for a tactical approach. She thinks about how many people she will take into enemy territory. By keeping the capture of the Emperor secret from the people, she feared that if word ever got out, there would be civil war, and a struggle for power. Her royal body guards Peta and Covert, two opifex-girls that were discovered on a zerg border planet, insisted that they stay by her side without argument.

That was until the zerg infestation arrived. During the last ditch battle for the planet, their race had superior attacking power, but lacked in advanced technology. Their people tried to eliminate the zerg threat, but the zerg was much to great in numbers. After 20 years of defending from the onslaught, the planet fell behind in economic structure, towns were under seige from shortages, famine, disease. Fearing that the Harbor planet was about to be overrun, and the people were about to face extinction, the elders prayed for salvation. During the final year of the epic battle, the Protoss arrived. The Harbor people thought this was the answer to their prayers, but were mistakened. The protoss were not there to help, but to stop the infestation at any cost. The Protoss discovered that the planet was indeed lost to the zerg and the surviving people were a small price to pay to stop the zerg from infesting the neighboring planets. This was when the Blarg Empire intervened. Utilizing the terran personal cloaking technology on their drop ships, they were "piggy backing" off the Protoss fleet. Able to use the Protoss' mighty power to create a path toward the planet surface. Upon reaching the planet's surface, they found only small towns being ravaged by zerg everywhere. The Blarg had no choice but to choose one town to evacuate. The planet was burned and scorched by the Protoss shortly after they made it back to orbit. Peta and Covert joined the Blarg Army and began their training to be the best, and avenge Harbor's fall. After many years of intense training, they became the best, and elite fighters of Blarg, working up until they reached the highest rank of all, Personal Royal Guardian. Many have fell in these ranks, some have fallen in battle, others have been assassinated by spies. Peta and Covert both now are on the mission providing their melee skills to aid the queen.

He was also one of the Terran Confederacy's officers and has some knowledge of how they work. Hiro was found just before the actual fall of the Confederacy. The initial take over from the United Terrans left him adrift in space in his disabled battle crusier. After hearing about the leader of the Confederacy was killed, Hiro had nowhere to go. The Blarg found his ship drifting endlessly in space and Hiro found a new purpose in life. After years of training with the Blarg, Hiro now serves the Emperor as a General. Hiro has a secret crush on the queen. His intentions may seem untrustworthy at first, but he remains loyal. This incident gives Hiro a great opportunity to have the queen to himself.

Sakura thought was should be enough to handle the rescue mission, but would really like to use a entire battalion of troops, and heavy armor to invade the location of where the Emperor was being held. But this action would eventually provide their enemy spies a window to attack. Playing it safe was more her style. First thing to do was to gather intel on where the Emperor was located. Asking Hiro for his expertise, he replied, "Yes my queen, we do have spies in the Terran Confederacy. It may take some time to locate my contacts." For a brief moment, Hiro felt for the first time anxious and nervous when Sakura spoke to him. Collecting his composure and telling himself that this isn't some highschool pupply love he should be feeling he immediatly recollects himself. Seeing how upset and sad Sakura was, Hiro knew that winning her heart wasn't going to be easy, but if he allows her sorrow to grow, he would never feel her love.

Time was of the essence. Sakura knew that the longer they took, the less likely they would find the Emperor. As the four enter the royal scout ship, their journey begins.

Next time on Blarg, Sakura prepares a strategic battle to save her Emperor while maintaining a cool composure. Hiro's secret is slowly manifesting itself, will Peta and Covert ever stop teasing Hiro? All this and more next time on [SIZE=3][COLOR=RED]BLARG: THE RESCUE[/COLOR][/SIZE]

[COLOR=Purple]Heh, desspite basically just being a synopsis of the situation, that was pretty good. Kinda like a recap of whatever was happening before the show started. I can't wait to see what perilous adventures await on the next exciting episode of Blarg: The Rescue![/COLOR]

Mission time: 1 day 6 hours after the Emperor's capture. 13 days left before all is lost.

Aboard the scout ship, Spear's Edge, nicknamed after the one of the elder Guardian that died in battle. [url=http://fanart.theotaku.com/view.php?action=retrieve&id=81702][COLOR=red]Peta[/color][/url] and Covert quickly got accustomed to the ship and found it to be a worthy vessal. It's thrusters gently hummed with a light blue after burn giving a almost trance-like atmosphere. Peta was designated to be the pilot of "Spear". Covert was resting in the crew quarters with [url=http://fanart.theotaku.com/view.php?action=retrieve&id=82063][color=red]Sakura looking out the thick porthole window showing the darkness of space[/color][/url]. It was as if looking into a endless abyss. Sakura sometimes dreaded floating in space, the only thing between her and the void of darkness was a thick sheet of carbon-steel polymer armor plates only 6 inches thick. She looks over towards Covert sleeping gently as though safe back in the Emperor's kingdom. Sakura smiles softly knowing she can trust both Peta and Covert with her life and that they would lay down there own souls to save their queen. But soon that moment of comfort passes back to her reality. She knew that the danger has yet to begin, that they had to fight a horde of enemies with little chance to survive. She thinks about returning back to her home, dreaming about living a normal life of a woman and raising her family, only worrying about paying taxes on time and figuring out what to make for dinner. Unfortunetly, she has a larger responsibility to attend to, a empire to take care of, a whole world dedicated to her for guidance. This leads her to think about the people of the empire as her children.

General Hiro's foot steps are heard from a distance and Covert suddenly jumps up alert with her blade in her hand, but remained inside it's scabbard. Covert relizes where they were and lowers her guard down for the moment. Before Hiro could even knock on the hatch, it slides open with Covert standing at the doorway looking at Hiro with suspicious eyes. Her insticts never failed her before, which gives her a interesting advantage in training and in battle. She stands her front of Hiro silently as if waiting for one of them to make the first move, trying to make him feel awkward. Hiro ignores Covert's attempt to size him as if to do battle. He breaks the ice, "My Queen, I have located the Emperor's where-a-bouts."
This news lights up Sakura's eyes with hope and joy. Her eyes meet with Hiro's, making his heart jump a beat. Covert steps to one side as Sakura anxiously to hear the news. "Where is he?" she quickly ask Hiro with a short of breathe.
"He's actually in a Terran Confed. Flag Ship called the Acendent Justice. One of our spy is working deep undercover and is working to slow down the ship so we can catch up to it." Hiro explained.

Sakura delighted to hear this great news ask him to hurry and set a course at once. Hiro acknowledged her orders and rushed towards the bridge of the ship. After seeing Sakura light up with joy filled him with a sense of pride. Soon, he relizes his dilemma. If the Emperor was to be rescued, he would have no chance with Sakura. He hesitates for a moment on wether to stall their mission or not. After only 10 years in the service of the Emperor, being loyal and filled with pride of all his duties, he feels he deserves more. Much more, his heart does battle with his duty to the very person who saved him....



With the feeling of betraying his Queen, he chooses to hinder the mission.





Hiro's action has cost Sakura precious time, their journey hits a snag with a abandon space station infested with a hostile entity. Will they get to the Emperor in time? Will Hiro ever tell Sakura how he feels? Will Peta and Covert ever give Hiro any repect? Next time on [size=3][color=green]BLARG: THE RESCUE[/color][/size]...
