How did you meet your true love?

I knwo for a fact that there are a few romatics here in this place and I'd love to hear about how you met your one and only. I can tell you when I met mine it was war. lol. We didn't like to be around each other for the longest time, some people thought we hated each other but inside we both admit that we loved each other from the start.
The day I met him I was in ninth grade, a freshmen in high school and he, well, to be honest he was the biggest jerk I had ever met, egotistic and stubbron to a fault. He was proud and he was distant from everyone except his Best Friend, practicly his brother and his sister. I remember walking in and seeing him and havign the oh so girlish thought of 'Oh, my...he's cute.' go through my mind, then he began to try and show off. He won me over by just being him and well, showing off really, I never let on that I liked him till I was a Sophmore at a homecomign dance...I was in a bad realtionship with one guy and well, I had always like him. He came up behind me at the dance and after that I was like a moth to flame. I don't remember how many hints i gave him afther that dance that me and my boyfriend had broken up but he finally gave it a go and well...we're having a son...lol. We're going on three years now, four of knowing one another. I know mine's not all that romantic as I'm sure some others will be but I think it's funny. We loved each other fromt he day we laid eyes on one another and never admitted it, we were to stubbron and proud. To be honest he's still stubbron adn proud, same as me, but I love him for it and I wouldn't change him for anything in the world. Mine's kinda comical, but I wounder if anyone has had a simalar happening such as this or if it was the complete oppisit. Like mine was form enemies to lovers, is there anyone who had one that was more...romantic I guess...lol.

[font=tahoma]Hehe, I met my "one and only" [Parabola] here on the OB. To be more specific, we met while writing together in an RPG called "War in the Shadows". It was hardly romantic, actually, lol. Our characters were in conflict with one another, and he was supposed to kill mine. But every time his character found his way to mine, he would beat the poo out of her, but he wouldn't kill her. So, I was a bit confused and irritated because I was sort of left with nothing each time he posted. I ended up PMing him, asking him what the hell was going on.

We kept PMing each other, getting to know one another a bit. Your usual "so, how long have you been a member, do you like it here, how did you find the OB" stuff. Then one day, out of boredom, I put an advertisment in my signature. It went something like "Looking for a husband. Do you think you have what it takes? PM me for an application.". Though I was PMed by a few people, I was really hoping (in that girlish way) that Joe [SilpheedPilot at the time] would see. At the end of the day, I came home from school and logged onto the OB to see that he had PMed me. His PM went along the lines of "So, uh, is that application still open?"

That was September 28th, 2003. And we've been with each other ever since.[/font]

well I can not say that I have found my true love but I have fallen in love before and it was merly a chance of fate I just happened to meet the girl one day and then we started to hang out and things untill she had to move back to japan. that is the jist of the story.

i met my loved one, well we went to the same highschool together...she was a fanatic , i was a fanatic, she liked games , i liked games, i was into writing, she was into writing, my fave color was blue her fave color was blue...it goes on...same birthmonth, same star sign....it was irony at its finest....i was in love...deeply...:D..it started with chat at school and chat online...i'd use to wake up at 3 am and find her online aswell...we are sooo alike and i was falling....it went like that for a month one night i conjured up the guts to tell her how i really felt and then...to my surprise...she felt the same way....been happy ever since...:D

I met my husband when I was working at my very first job. I was 16 and in high school and he was 21 and going to college. We didn't start dating until a few years later but when I first met him I knew he was the man I was going to marry. There was just something about him, something special, that I knew deep down inside he was my soul mate.

In fact today, November 25, 2005 is our 10th wedding anniversary! We still consider ourselves newlyweds though. Through all the good times and bad we have been there to support each other. I love him more each and everyday. He really is my better half.
