RPG Sea Scareb M(LVS)

Ron got back to his feet and set back to return to the rest of the crew who were still enjoying there down time. He took up some water and put out the small fire he had started for himself and began on his way back to the group. He walked straight passed them and was largly ignored, none of them knew him and he didn't particularly care if they did or not. He hadn't shared anything with them so they didn't need to know anything. He patted himslef off as he started to head back up on the boat "This has been one hell of a night."

He said to himself as he climbed the rope ladder, back onto the deck and he immediatly made his way for his cabin. He stopped at the door to the deck and thought on this for a moment. He turned and instead of going to his cabin he went to the front of the ship and looked out on the rough seas ahead. It seemed like everything was restless tonight, even the high seas beat vicously. He thought to himself 'At least I'm not the only one'.

He looked back to the deck door to the cabins and leaned back on the rail for the edge of the ship and looked straight to the roof of the cave. He didn't know what to think anymore, but he had to believe that there was some answer for him out here. There had to be, otherwise, what was the point in leaving if he couldn't find his tranquility?

[Knuckles]

"Man... She's grown. She's tougher and more... perfect. I don't want to be mean but this way she won't get hurt... Love me she will not... Though I will always love her..."
He walked away remembering the way she used to be.
"A long time has passed..."
He walked to the water and looked out. He watched the waves.
"We almost drowned..."

Jem looked around at everyone relaxing. Seeing Sano steal a couple of glances at the captain she just had to laugh, seemingly for no reason. Thankfully it didn?t call too much attention as she wandered off by herself to take a walk on the other side of the cove. Glancing back toward the way they had come, she imagined how the dark sea must look and smiled remembering past storms she's sailed through.

[I]"Jem! I thought I told you to stay below!"
"But I want to help! You said I'd have to learn sooner or later, so I chose sooner!"
The waves were ruff, each crest of foam threatening to sink the small ship in already shaky condition from a navel battle they had barely managed to win not 3 hours before. The older pirates all out did the younger girl in height by a great amount. Jem was only 12 then.
"Aye, I did say. But listen to me girl, if you fall overboard non 'er this crew will be coming to yer rescue. If you can manage the cross, help the lad with the helm while we take of the sails."[/I]

Jem sighed. They were fun and adventurous times. Before joining up with this new captain, she had almost forgotten just how much her life at sea meant to her. All the opportunities it possessed, just waiting to be found. Forget laying low to fool the law, she was never making the same mistake again. Clarice Minerva would never be coming back, Jem Roally was staying in control.

Lie stepped out onto the deck and sighed as a cool breeze blew back her hair. The cove was small but it held a peace to it tht she had never known. Climbing down she saw Dante looking out and she had to smile to her-slef he was thinking, he always got that look on his face when he thought, even as a kid. She waded through the shallows and stopped next to him. He didn't seem to notice but she didn't care.
"Your father did he make it out of the ship before it went down?"
"Does it look it?"
"Just asking, my father did, he was on drift wood...he died from his burns."
She saw a flicker in his eys and took in a deep breath. She grabed his hand and yanked him towards the ship.
"We need to talk, alone. And don;t you worry it's nothing nasty. It's about what happen that night when the Royal Crown burt down int he water."
She dragged him ontot he ship and into her quaters.
"Dante, something happend that nioght, it was when we were leaving this very cove. Do you remember? It was like another ship had fired but there was nothign there."
"The cooks left the stoves on. That's what happen."
"Then what was the blast I heard? Explainthat one genius."
"Powder checks for the cannons. Look are you always this paranoid?"
"Are you always such a dickhead?"
"Around people I don't like? Yes."
"Figures. Look something happened that day Dante. I know it."
"Your the only one then. Nothing happened, it weas a freak accident. That's all."
"Believe what you want Dante, I know something happened. I know."
He moved for the door and she grabbed his arm lightly.
"Do you really hate me so much now Dante?"
"Lie things can't rewind, we changed to much, we're not the kids we were."
"I know that. But can't we still try to be friends?"
"Friends always lead other places Lie, I came to protect you, thats all."
"But why did you come to protect me Dante? If it's just casue my father asked you to then you can get the hell out. I don't need a babysitter."
"Lie..."
"Get out."
He walked out and she leaned on the door fighting the tears that wanted to flow but she didn't let them. He really wasn't the same person that he had been, she woundered what could have happened to make him so cold. So cold to not even want to be her freind, or so he said. She walked out to see him standign there but walked past him and back down to the beach. Night was closeing in and she sat on a sand dune and watched the sun set on the alm water outside the reach of the storm on the other side of the cove. She chanced a galnce at Dante and saw him watching her, she frowned at him and turned her back on him looking at the sand she took deep breathes trying to let her anger get the better of her.

[Darth Vectis]

[COLOR=DarkGreen][SIZE=1]Azuroth awoke from his little nap in the sun, he stood up and rolled his head so that his neck would pop. He rubbed his neck with his right to avoid getting cut from his daggertail once more. He looked around to see everyone was spaced apart from eachother, everyone except for Sano seemed to be a bit down and Azuroth could feel it pretty well.

He could also tell their was a strong sense of fear and anger in the air, he didn't care for the source so he would just avoid everyone he could. He walked to the other end of the beach, not caring much that his blackened skin and massive scars were exspoed to the open world. He made his way off to find a shady spot for himself.

"It's really quiet on this island. Thats interesting."[/B] Azuroth spoke to himself as he walked past the last person into a lonley place where it was cool and dark. He smiled when he saw a perfect little spot where it was hidden from sight but allowed him to view anyone apporching. He approched the spot and saw it was a cave into the island, he walked a few feet into the cave and stopped. He looked around at the cave walls.

"This is best place I can practice."[/B] He drew his daggertail and began to swing his weapon as he fluidly moved with it. Spinning and moving quickly and swiftly, like water. This was his exercise he practiced so he could get the upper hand on his enemy, none of them were faster or swifter then him. He lost himself in his self training. Focusing all his energy and mind onto his moves and the cordination he needed to maintain his daggertail from cutting him apart.[/SIZE][/COLOR]

Jem watched from afar what little part of the ending scene with the captain that could be seen. Not facial expressions or anything like that, but you didn't need to in order to tell. She'd seen similar body language many times before when friends became deeply attached or romantically involved with somebody. Part of her wanted to walk back over toward the rest of them and join the upset seeming captain?but was hesitant.

This was the first adventure where the crew didn't seem like a happy family. All right, given that this was a little more of a mix match than she was used to, but still. One eye followed slightly in notice as Azuroth passed her, nodding to herself in response to his little comment she happened to overhear. He was right. The pirate guessed he was trying to get away form the tension a bit himself.

With a sigh, Jem slowly made her way back toward the 'group', if that was what you could call it against her nagging judgement. She stopped next to where the Captain was sitting. [COLOR=Indigo]"Boy troubles Capt'n?" [/COLOR] she asked jokingly. It failed to lighten the mood. [COLOR=Indigo]"You don't need to say anything to me, just thought you might like the company."[/COLOR]

Lie picked up a pebble and threw it hitting Dante in the back of the head on purpose.
"As much trouble as he wants to give me I suppose."
She looked up at Jem and sighed.
"We knew each other as kids...we I suppose were friends back then but now..."
She threw another pebble and frowned when he caught it and threw it inot he water.
"He's just a jerk."
She sat and watched Dante and sulked, but after a few minutes she decided that she would wade out and find soemthing to do. She floated on her back as teh moon rose slowly, her shirt now slightly trasnparent from the warm water. She straightend and made her way back to the ship ringing her shirt out as she went. she shot a sideways glance at Dante before she boarded and went to her cabin to dry and change again.

[Knuckles]

Dante walks up to her cabin door and knocks.
"It's me Dante.Can I come in?"
"What do you want? You didn't want to talk to me before, what changed?"
"Look... Let me in. I'm... I'm sorry..."
Lie opens the door a crack he sees just one eye peeking out.
"W-What?"
He looks at her and smiles slightly.
"Please let me in..."
She rolles her eyes and opens the door hideing behind it and lets him in, she shuts the door and he sees she's in a long button up shirt, it looked to be her fathers.
"What do you want?"
Dante blushed at the sight of her.
"I.. um... I wanted to appologize..."
"I've know you most of my life Dante and you never apologoze, so whats going on.?"
She crosses her arms and stands infront of him noticeing the blush.
"I was going to bed, you kinda caught me at a weird time..."
She realxed a bit and rolls her eyes.
"I.. uh.. noticed..."
He looked down at her, for she was shorter than he. His face got brighter.
"I've changed... Look I haven't changed toward you on purpose... I don't want you to get hurt... I love you..."
She raised an eyebrow.
"You love me? Thats not possible...we hated each other."
"I kicked your ass on a daily basis..."
"I never wanted to win... I thought if you always won, you would stay..."
He moved slightly closer.
"I've always loved you..."
She closes her eyes and takes a deep breath. "Dante this is really weird, you show up yesterday, and act like a complete ass, now today your telling me that you've always loved me? How am I suppose to take all this in...I-I dunno Dante...I want a few answers first."
"Like what?"
She opens her eyes and meets his, a small shiver runs through her.
"How did you get off the boat?"
"Dad..."
She takes a deep breath and takes a small step back to keep her head clear.
"What do you mean? What happen to your dad...and why in gods names did they arrange us a marriage?"
"He died. He broke the hull of the ship with one punch... He let me escape and then the cannon fell on him..."
"All of them..."
She looks down.
"I'm sorry..."
She turned around and walked over to her chest knelt down and took out the picture and a sock that held a bottle of whiskey in it.
"My secret...I'm not a big drinker...so answer the last one, why did they set us an arranged marriage?"
She sits down on the bed and crosses her legs looking up at him.
He blushes extremely now.
"I-I-I donno... They just felt we were ment for each other.... Who knows...."
She laughs at him and hands him a drink.
"You sound like a teenageer again...dont tell me you've never been with anyone Dante...your old enough now. Then again, you always were too scared."
She smiles and also hands him the picture.
"Thanks....And no I haven't. I've been waiting."
He took a sip.
"Thanks for the morale booster..."
"Well it's the truth."
She giggles lightly and ran a hand through her hair.
"If you don't mind my asking Dante...waiting for who?"
"You. But it seems I've waited in vain..."
She laughs and shakes her head.
"Who ever said I didn't feel same? And I never said I have done anything either Dante...you never listened well either..."
"Do you? Have you? And What do you mean?"
She looks up at him.
"Do I love you? Yes, have I been with anyone? No....And by you never listened...that one speks for it-self."
"How so? And another thing... wait, you love me?"
She shakes her head and laughs.
"Exactly, you never listen. Yes Dante I love you...I was worried sick when the ship went down and I couldn't find you. I thought you were dead. . But it's not all that easy anymore is it? I've been giving you hints all day, trying to talk to you...if you listend carefully enough you would have heard them...not only that...how often have you known me to throw a tantrum like a little kid? I mean honestly?"
He smiles and laughs. He sits beside her. He moves close to her and leans in. He kisses her.

[Akieen Cloud]

Lie closed her eyes and leaned back smileing.
"Well, been a while for that, if you rmember the last time you kissed me was on the dock just outside Berniom, when you and your dad left. You just kissed me and ran, you doing that this time Dante?"
He shook his head.
"No, I can't really go anywhere either Lie."
She smiled and nodded.
"True."
He kissed her agian and she felt her body lean into his and felt him eract by wrapping an arm around her waist and pulling her close. She put a hand on his chest and pushed him back slowly.
"We can't Dante, not here, not now. I have the crew to worry about right now, and the storm thats just outside this cove ready to kill us all. It's not time yet. To soon, I mean...jsut not ready."
"I understand Lie."
"Thank you Dante. There's just to much at stake at this moment."
She kissed him this time, lingering and tender.
"Not saying I wouldn't like to...it's just not a good time."
"You don't have to explain your-self Lie...I understand."
"I know."
She pulled him down and pinned him to the bed, straddeling his waist.
"You know, I could probably still kick your ass today. If the storm is still there in the morning, how bout' a good sparring match? Just to see where I stand now."
"I wouldn't want to hurt you."
"Yeah, right. You hurt me? You wouldn't hurt me if your life depended on it."
"Like you said though...we did hate each other."
"Yes Dante. Did."
She leaned down and kissed im once more before rolling on her side and curling up beside him on her cot.
"Better stop now before we can't."
She smiled with him and sighed.
"So sparring match tomarrow. Deal?"
"Fine, deal."
"Good, time for bed."
He went to move and she yanked him bck down.
"You sleep here tonight. It get cold in here and I need some extra heat. Not only that. I've missed you."
"I've missed you too Lie."
she closed her eyes and let sleep take her as the night set the rest of the way in on them.

[Deadpool]

Sano stood staring at the moon as he turned to the water that was beganing to get rougher. "Going to be a long night" He was about to turn in in the shelter he had recently built himself. He had expeirence of building enough shelters so he knew the perfect spot to build it so it didn't get torn apart by a storm during the middle of the night. He suddenly noticed something in the fog. "Oh shit...British" He noticed that it was a pirate hunter ship. "This ain't good." He noticed they we anchored our since one of thier masts was torn to splinters. "Going to take them until tomorrow to fix that. Might as well get some sleep or I could get them now. Hey Ron, Alex, Azuroth. Wanna go raiding later on tonight?"

Jem glared at Sano from the corner of her eye. Sure, leave the female out of the fun. Fine, that was no big deal. Jem stood up from where she sat with a silent 'humph' and walked toward the back of the cove where she last saw Azuroth. Might as well fill him in about the navy.

It was getting harder to see as she traveled farther. [COLOR=Indigo]"Hey, you still here?" [/COLOR] she asked the dark, not really getting an actual reply in return. She found the cave, and stopped short seeing him in the middle of practicing. Jem leaned sideways on the wall a bit as she watched for a minute while staying out of the way. It looked highly dangerous, and the pirate didn't want to startle him or anything. He was very skilled; she had to say that much to herself.

After a while he had started to slow down to stop, and finally noticed Jem's presence. [COLOR=Indigo]"How long have you been standing there?"

"Not long," [/COLOR] she answered. [COLOR=Indigo]"Just thought you might like to know we've got a hunter ship from the British Navy pretty nearby looking a bit damaged. Sano's inviting you, Ron, and Alex to maybe go raiding later."[/COLOR]

[Akieen Cloud]

Lie had heard the voices of the navy and slipped from the bed, she put on dark blue clothes, they were form fitting and hid nothing. She climbed down the ladder and down infront of Sano.
"Forget it, your not raiding the Navy, we have to get out of here. If they search this beach...we're history..."
She went across the shore putting out their fires and rousing everyone to wakefullness.
"Get up everyone, we gotta go."
Ron got infront of her.
"The storm."
"We'll have to deal Ron...if any one of me Jem or Sano get caught...this whole thing is lost to the depths."
She walked back towards the boat and saw Dante looking at her from the dock.
"We have to get out of here!"
He nodded anhd began workiing on the sails.

[Deadpool]

Sano looked back to the Navy when he noticed the name on the boat. "The Ivy" He had a score to settle with that Captain. Now he had a predicament. Did he disobey orders or did he keep the Navy at bay considering that the Ivy was the fast out there. The Sea Scarab could cut through any storm or weather but waqs built for durability not speed. "Looks like I am going to have to stall them" He looked out from the boat to the small camp that the Navy officers had made when recongized several of them. He looked around to see the others packing up and came up on Jem. "Sorry I didn't ask you to come along. Didn't want you to get hurt but I know otherwise considering your reputation. Tell the Captain I am getting a second boat. Just in case if there is more treasure then the boat can hold. And I have alittle personal score to settle, but I might not come out alive so wish me luck" He gave Jem a hug before sliding down the banks and began walking over to the camp. He stepped in when several officers grabbed their guns then relaxed.

"Sano, what the hell are you doing here?"

"Remeber that group I was tailing for the governemnt. Well they are about to leave.."

"Let's get them before they have a chance"

"No" Sano held up his hands. "The Captain believes she knows where the Black Jack treasure is. And I think she does. Let's wait till after they have found it and then jump them. Deal?"

"Deal, Let's get back to the ship"

Sano smiled as they began rowing back to the ship

[Akieen Cloud]

Lie ran acroiss the dock and slid to a dtop next to Jem.
"Where's Sano?"
"He said he was going to get us another ship and that he had a score to settle."
"I'll have a score to settle with himj damnit..."
She reached under the helm and grabed her telescope, she looked out and spotted the rowboat heading back to the ship, she saw Sano in the middle of them and sighed, she thought that she had seen him before on a poster. He was the one who took over Navyt ships and then took them over for his own.
"Lets go, He'll catch up to us later."
Dante stopped her and made her look up at him.
"What's wrong Lie?"
"Don't worry about it Dante, lets just go...it'd be better."
She took the helm and steered the ship back out into the rageing waters outside the cove, She saw with satisfactionas Jem began to tie them all off to the mast with lengths of rope.
"Good idea Jem, make sure that they're good and tight then begin to support the sails, we gotta loose that damn ship."
"What about Sano?"
"He'll find us later...I count on it."
She looked at Ron and Dante, alright guys, lets get to the next town in one piece."
They all nodded and the journy began agian.

[COLOR=DarkGreen][SIZE=1]Azuroth was on bored helping with the sail, making sure it was gonna be ripped off of the mast. Jem was next to him working as well.

"Move faster!"[/B] Jem said while working quickly, Azuroth looked at her working fast.

"You know your not the only on screwed if they find you."[/B] Jem scoffed.

"Really? Your not a pirate."[/B]
[B]
"But I am a serial killer. Even killing pirates, thieves, and other mercenarys is considered a crime. So don't badger me about how fast I should be moving."[/B] Azuroth retorted, picking up the pace on keeping the sail apart of the ship. Jem nodded her head.

"You've got a point there."[/B] She said as she went back to her duties.[/SIZE][/COLOR]

[Akieen Cloud]

Lie looked down at them and yelled.
"Quit the banter and just get this thing moving!"
They looked up and nodded.
"Thank you!"
She looked at Dante.
"They find us both you and me are messed up and screwed over."
He nodded and she looked back at the choppy water she was about to take her crew back into and looked up at the last little bit of clear sky and sighed.
"Father forgive me..."
