"I suppose a beer won't be the kind of drink you're talking about, Leila." He laughed softly, Manji tickling his side as he moved. The locks of silver hair drifted along his face, teasing his bloody eyes.

"Not at all, Kashi. Though...it would be nice to wash the kind of drink I'm talking about down with." She had that sly, sleek smile on her face as she spoke, moving closer to him. She pressed closer, their middles touching softly. Kashi's mind went semi-frozen.

"Two vampires just materalized out there. You do know that their blood is much more filling than a human's, right...?"

"Yeah. Are they friend or foe?"

"I'd think they were enemies...or they'd use the front gate. Think about it, Kashi." She was still straddled up to him, pressed against him lightly. The wind made Leila's hair whip out across his face and along his own hair. He pulled away slightly.

"Then let's go," Kashi was partially relieved to be away, but mostly he was dissapointed. "Don't want to make Keitha mad at me, end up making me something less-than-desireable." He added, explaining why he moved away. She had a pouty sort of look on her face. His expression told her, "Later, not now." That seemed to surpress her taunts-for now. "I'm hungry, too. So let's get on with this."

He jumped up on the balcony, the black coat billowing out from behind him and slicing the air softly. He drew Manji, letting the obsidian blade trace through the air in complex patterns. From each pattern jumped thousands of cherry blossoms, until there was innumerable measures of them. He lept off of the balcony, the cloud of razor sharp pink blades following him. He hit the ground with a soft thump, waiting for Leila to join him. She was soon on the ground with him.

He saw the two vampires were nowhere in sight. He sighed.

"Great, we're too late, Leila-chan...we'll have to hit the town and find a littl' bit to drink. I'm sure they've got some great clubs here." He looked at her, his rosenrot-colored eyes gleaming with pink and silver in annoyance at what happened. She approached him and nodded softly, a snap from her kimono going off.

Kashi made his way to his car, the blossoms forming into a key to unlock the door. He opened the door, waiting for her to slide in to the seat. Leila perched herself for a moment on the driver's seat before slowly moving to the passenger's seat. Kashi followed her in, the key moving into the ignition and starting the car. His eyes were trained to seek out whatever he wanted, and after a few minutes of cruising he found a local club that looked to be filled with fresh blood.

It wasn't long before Kashi and Leila emerged, two young and vorcarious women following them out. Kashi and Leila shared a secret smile, ready to enjoy their meal back home in the secret sort of love that only a vampire to another could understand.

The two women fawned over Kashi as they rode in the back-seat of his car. Leila had that smile of pure esctasy cross her lips as she watched the females' hands touch Kashi as he was driving.

They had gone in with the cover of being partners that were looking for some fun. These two women seemed more than happy to oblige. They seemed to have taken to Kashi very well. It was almost sickening at how human women fawned over handsome men, even if they weren't their species.

" This should be quite fun Leila," Kashi said, " With these two beautiful ladies, it should be quite interesting, wouldn't you say?"
The two young women giggled in the back. Leila smiled over at Kashi.
" Of course it will my dear Kashi-kun. Why wouldn't it be? You always wanted to see what it was like with lots of women around you."

Kashi noted there was a hint of sarcasm in the remark. Leila smiled at him smugly. He gave her a coy look.

" And if that's such a crime dear Leila-chan."

He parked his car out the front of their hotel. Before they went in, Leila and Kashi decided to rent a different room just for this, so they didn't interupt Keitha or Kashi's underling in their blood lust. Getting the key, Kashi and Leila led the two women into the elevator and up into their new room. The two women seemed to want Kashi all to themselves. Leila didn't mind. She wanted their blood, not their bodies.

Once they arrived at the room, Leila opened the door and let the thre go in ahead of her. He stomach growled. She could feel the bloodlust course through her veins. It was like an itch that wanted to be scratched.

Soon.... soon I will drink...

Kashi took the two girls into the master bedroom, making them feel as though they were safe. A few moments later and Leila entered the room. Kashi had the two women undressed and lying on the bed next to each other. He was standing at the end of the bed, fully clothed. He looked at Leila with a sly smile on his face.

" Don't they look beautiful?" he said, smiling. In truth, he was meaning the blood. Leila nodded.
" It's a treat indeed," she said. Kashi and herself leant over the women and went to 'kiss' the womens' necks. The women leant their head out of the way to feel their necks being pierced by teeth.

The two wanted to scream but hands over their mouths prevented that. Leila drank and drank, gulping down the fresh young blood. Dribbles of it drooled from her mouth.

" That was good." She looked over at Kashi who finished his meal. He had dribbles of blood oozing down his lips. She walked over to him and licked the blood off his lips.

" Quite a satisfying meal, wasn't it?"

Keitha stopped suddenly in the middle of the hotel's lobby, she had was heading towards the hotel's bar when she recieved the call on her cell phone. From every corner of the large room dark masses gathered around Keitha, swirling around her feet in a disturbing array of splender.

The small crowd of hotel workers, and occuptants stopped what they were doing to watch the spectal. It didn't much matter that almost every person in the room was a vampire of some sort, it was still a sight to behold.

They stare

And laugh

We play

By your feet

We want more

Of this energy

Keitha slammed the cell phone shut, causing the shadows to scatter. Quick gasps echoed through the lobby as the shadows rushed towards them, but all fell silent, like that after an ackward moment, when Keitha brought her head up. The surrounding crowd slowly nudged their neighbors and the lobby returned to its busy clatter.

"Are you alright Miss," an attendent cautiously approached Keitha, being careful to avoid the woman's eyes.

"Seraphim," Keitha whispered as if she was in a trance of some sort.

"Was that the person on the phone?" the attendent asked, pointing to the cell phone Keitha was slidding back into her pocket.

Keitha didn't answer, just adverted her eyes for a moment. "Send a message to the occupants of room 343 that Keitha has found Seraphim. They will understand my message." Keitha told the woman and turned away from her, starting towards the front glass doors.

It was surely not the first time Leila would have heard Keitha use that name. The Shadow Assassin had told great tales of the Mrykur Anoil member many times, and the day Keitha came crawling back to the Gyshram after he left suddenly was the strongest of them.

"I'll come back," Keitha whispered to herself as she reached for the gold colored handle of the glass door. "I will not leave you like Seraphim did me."

Keitha hesitated for a moment, but the overwhelming anticapation of being near Seraphim again took over her, and she quickly made her way through the glass door. Not more than two steps out on the cement sidewalk, Keitha watched Seraphim crawl out of the back of a taxi. His golden hair was a startling contrast against the illuminated sky and soaring buildings.

Instantly Keitha put on the face of composure, the one she had always used when in Seraphim's presence. Gracefully she approached the vamper traitor, her medium cut blouse accenting her well-shaped figure and her loose, dark colored slacks hinting at the her power. A devislish smile played across her lips as she lowered her head softly.

"Well, well, well, what have I done to recieve such an honor to be in the great Seraphim's presence yet again?" Keitha said mockingly as she flashed thirsty eyes up at him.

"Well, well, what have I done to receive such an honour to be in the great Seraphim's presence once again?" asked Keitha mockingly.

"Ah, Keitha, you always did have a sense of humour. That's what I loved about you," he said, his voice much different to the last time he saw the Shadow Assassin, "We were good together, weren't we?"

"We were more than that," she replied, "We were the best. There were none that could prove to be better than us."

"Indeed not. I know how much you loved the thrill of the hunt. And now comes the chance for a new hunt. I have relinquished all associations with the Myrkur Aniol, and have revealed my true place: at Kuroichi's side, while he takes his rightful place as ruler of this world. You look surprised, Keitha," he said, noticing the shocked look on her face, "But didn't you always suspect something. Since I left Kuroichi, I have apparently had no purpose, but my purpose was the most important of all. You see, Kuroichi needed information on the gems of power, held by the rulers of the vampire clans. The only way he could get this information was with someone who had been cast out of the Krilat Zmaj, someone who apparently wanted vengeance. I was able to get information on the gems held by the Gwyar, the Myrkur Aniol, the Ijuuj and the Labareda, and soon enough the Silver-Haired Demon will have in his possession the Dark Moonstone, the Pearl Fang, the Blood Ruby, and the Corpse Emerald. In fact, I believe he is taking the Blood Ruby as we speak."

"But you betrayed the Krilat Zmaj. You were tortured for years!" replied the Shadow Assassin, still not believing his words.

"A slight inconvenience, yes, but a necessary one. You see, if Kuroichi simply let me go, then he would have lost the respect of many of his clansmen. This way, with pain to only one vampire, he let me go and gained the trust and respect of the Krilat Zmaj. It was a flawless plan, and now the time has come for us to choose our own side. And my place is always by Kuroichi's side. Will you join me, and we can work together as beautifully as we did in the past, Keitha?" asked Seraphim, holding out his hand, ready for Keitha to take it.

She looked at his hand, laced in scars, and made her decision...

After drawing new blood Ramiel felt his strength return to him. Now he needed to find what the true mission of Seraphim and Kuroichi. He was obviously out for more then just destrution, but the depths of the plan were beyond his knowledge. He had to know what was so worth destroying all other clans. The one called Keitha, she seemed to have some connection to Seraphim, maybe she would know the whole story. Ramiel hunted the dark streets for any sign of the girl. He had a good memory so if he saw her again he could recognize her immediatly. He found himself coming tot he dark streets and alley ways for a good part of the night.

It took more than an hour of searching, but he caught sight of the girl. This wasn't the way he had hoped to find her. She was talking to Seraphim, he was making a propostion to her. He was trying to convince her to join him and Kuroichi. Ramiel feared the worse, he knew if she were to take sides with them, he would be back to square one. He grabbed his whip and curled it, if she said yes, he would strike quick and kill her, and maybe Seraphim if he could manage. His decision to attack teeterd on what she said next.

Helios opened his eyes after Vylon attempted to use some sort of spell on him. Much to his suprise, he was still at the Gwyar castle. Helios fell to thought. Was I not strong enough to make the journey? Not worthy? A sudden thought flashed across his mind, clearing his doubts away. He knew why he had stayed. he had not truly wanted to leave. He walked back to the castle when a guard carrying a message walked up to him.

"Lord Helios...A letter from Lady Sumiyaka." Beth? Helios attempted not to show his interest as he grabbed the note from the guard. The guard bowed, and Helios bowed back.

"Many thanks, brother." The guard nodded and walked back tot he front gate. Helios hastily opened the envelope. A dried blood orchid fell into his hand. He looked at it silently. He opened the letter in the envelope and read the short yet powerful note aloud.

"Life is a funny old thing...Love, your Elizabeth...Beth..." I tear slid down Helios' face, though he was unaware. His mind was hazy, he could not think straight. All he knew now was that he needed to make it to Beth. He knew that the lords did not want any more than two leaving, but...His heart would not hear of it.

He ran into the Gwyar castle and hasted up to his room. He burst in a packed his clothing swiftly. He sheathed his blade at his side and thew his luggage over his shoulder, and fled out of the building. Before he could leave, a voice boomed from behind him. It was prtrayed to be a voice of irritation...but Helios heard it for what it was. Amusement and happiness.

"So you could not obey my orders, hmm? Is she that important to you?" Helios stopped and tilted his head back.

"You knew, didn't you? You knew that no order would keep me in this place." Dracula laughed deeply and threw something to Helios. Helios caught it and grinned. Dracula spoke again.

"Show my pilot that, and you can use my personal jet. As of now, they should still be in India. If you hurry, you'll be able to catch up with them. Keep in touch, alright." Helios smiled, nodded and flipped his hair out of his face, than ran out of the castle.

10 minutes later...

Helios had sped to the plane on his notobike and had made it there in no time. He loaded hi motobike onto the plane, as he would need it for transportation purposes later on. He sat in his seat as the plane took off. He poured himself a glass of blook and scotch. He drank absent-mindedly as he stared out of the window down to to the earth below. He thought aloud.

"Beth...I will be there soon...I promise. And then I can express the extent of my feelings to you." Helios took another drink and continued to gaze into the abyss of nothingness, where the mind ruled supreme and thought had the ability to drag worlds into existinceness.

Elizabeth took her cloak from the small pile of bags on the floor and crossed to the doorway, locking her room before she stepped into the corridor to meet Orlok. He smiled and bowed his head in greeting as she walked to his side, sweeping his arm out to let her go first.

10 minutes of walking later and the temperature seemed to drop. Elizabeth shivered slightly and drew her cloak closer around her as a cool breeze played over her skin. Orlok was seemingly unaffected, but as Elizabeth looked up she noticed, with a certain amount of shock, that his eyes were bright and steely with alertness. He had sensed, or smelt, something and all his senses seemed to be on fire.

"Elizabeth..." he muttered to his companion, "I do believe we have company. Have your brought your sword?"

Elizabeth nodded and reached into her cloak, her shinai was strapped to the middle of her back so it was hidden from view. She drew the wooden blade and let it hang loosely at her side, her fingers gentle but ready on the hilt.

Suddenly a piercing laugh permeated the thick Indian air and, as Orlok snarled and cast his gaze to the sky, he saw the flash of red eyes and the swoop of a dirty and ripped cape.

"Knubrap." he growled as he whirled on his heel to face their foe. All five of them.

Elizabeth gasped as she noticed more of the stinking vampires appear, her grip on the shinai tightening as her gaze flickered over all their faces. She hadn't been in real battle before, and these creatures looked serious. She backed up to Orlok so her back pressed against his. She knew there was a chance that the Knubrap would be able to tell she was scared, and the thought only made her feel more uneasy.

"Elizabeth, stick close, I won't let them hurt you," Orlok smiled ironically, "Helios would kill me if I did."

Elizabeth laughed nervously and nodded, bringing her sword up so it was centred with her body. Then one of the Knubrap pounced with a fearful cry, a small, rusting dagger clutched in one hand. Orlok's muscles tensed and he jumped, his claws ripping through the Knubrap's flesh as soon as they made contact. His foe screeched and fell back to the sand, the stench of his blood almost choking Elizabeth.

After one fell, the rest pounced, and frenzy had begun. Orlok couldn't keep his eyes on Elizabeth constantly, but she managed to fight back some of her attackers. It was hopeless, however, as there seemed to be no end in numbers. The cries and howls of the murderous Knubrap seemed to fill the air as they attacked the pair of Gwyar; stabbing and ripping at anything they could et a hold of.

As Elizabeth knocked a female Knubrap unconscious, she heard Orlok cry out. She looked back, a fatal mistake, to see his arm bleeding as he clutched at it. All too late did she hear the whisper of a knife in the air before it's blade sunk into her right shoulder. She whimpered as lights exploded in front of her eyes and stumbled back, the dagger still stuck in her shoulder. Her attacker leered down at her as she tripped over her own feet to fall in the blood soaked sand.

Her hand groped for her shinai, but she couldn't find it, and the pain shooting through her whole body made her unable to summon the energy for a spell. She whimpered lamely and squeezed her eyes shut against the pain, hoping that someone Helios anyone Helios, please! would come and help them.

OOC: I have no idea why the Knubrap attacked us, Mugen, but they seemed like the most obvious bet for attackers seeing as they're a brutal lot. I guess you could have something about them having orders from a higher power? Some new plot twist could come from this. *shrugs*

Oh, the injury Orlok has isn't deep, I imagine it?s just a little flesh wound.

The planned landed in no time, and Helios jumped up from his seat swiftly, almost knocking over the empty bottle of scotch and blood. Vampires had a high alcohol tolerance, and never truly got intoxicated. He grabbed his stuff, threw it onto his motorcycle, and moved his blade from his side to his back. He waited for the plane to open, then he jumped on his bike and rode off. He drove swiftly along the street roads, barely observing the speed limit.

He knew exactly where he was going, as whilst he was on the plane he had received a call from Dracula. Dracula had obviously cleared Helios' absence, and he had information for the young vampire. Helios had eagerly taken the info.

"Helios, though the council are greatly angered with your leave, they see it better for 'Sumiyaka's interests'." Helios had beamed at that statement, greatly appreciative of his father.

"Thank you, master. I should be landing soon, I'll call you when I reunite with Beth and Lord Orlok." Dracula's rich laughter washed through the phone. Helios replied to it inquisitively.

"What's so funny, my liege?" Dracula answered amusedly.

"You have no idea where they are though. I don't doubt that you'd tear the city apart to find her, but I'd rather avoid that." Helios had stayed silent after that comment, ashamed that he had been so irrational. Dracula then waited a moment and spoke again.

"They are in the Gwyar embassy located in India. Good luck." With that he had hung up, leaving Helios to anticipate his arrival.

The whole conversation seemed like ages ago to the speed demon racing to the Manor. He made it their shortly, and parked the bike in front, bringing his stuff out swiftly. He stored in through the front doors, where his old friend Rupert Gastlow was sitting. He greeted Helios warmly.

"Why young master! This is a surprise. Lady Sumiyaka and Lord Orlok just checked in and then left. I was not made aware that you would be staying as well." Helios' eyes raised in shock. And left? He smiled at his friend and bowed.

"Could you take me stuff, dear friend? I am in dire need to speak with...Sumiyaka and Orlok." Gastlow smiled and bowed back, taking Helios' bags.

"No problem, young Master. They went deeper into the city, if that helps you any." Helios smiled and clasped his friends shoulder before rushing out and jumping back on his bike. As he was riding from the manor a scream ripped across his mind. Helios! Helios, please! His eyes opened wide and he accelerated to a ridiculous speed.

In the city...

Orlok regained his posture after the minor blow to his arm. It had not injured him much, just surprised him. He looked over to Beth, who was unable to defend herself at the moment. He fought overt to her, but to no avail. The Knubrap were relentless. He would need a distraction to take care of them. And then he got one.

A young man on a motorbike pulled up to them, and sprung high of his bike, drawing a blade. Orlok recognized the blade instantly, and thus knew the identity of the rider. He used the momentary draw of attention away from himself to strike at the Knubrap with his crimson claws, sending them flying. He looked over to Helios, who had already run to Beth's side.

Helios looked down at Beth, holding her tightly in her arms. Her warm breath pressed against his skin, and her eyes fluttered open. He smiled and held her closer. Her voice lifted from beneath him, amazed.

"Helios? Is that you?" Helios smiled and nodded.

"Yes, my dear. I had to come and see you. But we shall talk later. For now..." He stood up straight and stood next to Orlok, and drew his blade. He twirled it in his hand fiercely.

"We have scum to take care of."

Keitha's heart jumped as she fought back the shadows from swirling around her again. Their crazed cries screaming for more over and over again. What was it they wanted more of? Was it something that Seraphim caused?

Keitha allowed another playful smile crease her lips as she turned away from Seraphim, crossing her arms firmly across her chest. "Now, Seraphim, what makes you think I will so easily fall next to your side again. How do I know that you will not turn on me and leave again?"

"I suppose there's no way to know, but to see it for yourself."Tthe sure, confident smile that always seem to dance about his face glowed under the bright flurancent lights.

"I don't know, Seraphim." Keitha's voice suddenly became soft as she avoided his eyes. Her strong, proud stance was replaced with a blank stare. "Not that I need you to support me, by any means, but it was hard to pick up the pieces after your sorry ass "betrayed us". Putting myself in the good graces of the Gyshram Lord and Kuroichi again was not easy, even for the Shadow Assassin. I'm not willing to make that mistake again, that and I have a new partner."

Seraphim stood there for a moment, people rushing by them as they went about their daily lives. He took a single step forward, closing the small gap between Keitha and him.

"Come now, you're the great Shadow Assassin of the Gyshram. You should fear nothing."

Keitha brought her head up to stare into his eyes, the pale light reflecting back into her almost colorless irises. A rush of adrenaline filled her body as a sudden thirst, that she had not felt in decades, caused her mouth to dry. She licked her lips and smiled coyly at the vampire before her. She thrust her hand forward and into his, "show me, Seraphim, what its like to lose yourself in the lust of the world."

Seraphim leaned in close to Keitha, and then moved and whispered in her ear:

"We have a problem. Look outside. But do it subtly." The Shadow Assassin turned subtly, acting as though she was enjoying Seraphim's new embrace. She saw what Seraphim had been talking about.

"The boy," she whispered, licking her lips, "I don't suppose he would be in with us?" Seraphim shook his head, and Keitha smiled, "Oh well. He could be fun to play with."

She turned to Seraphim, and said, loudly and blatently:

"I will join you in your quest, Seraphim." With these words, a whip lashed round the corner, and snapped toward Keitha, who whipped around and caught the end of the whip, and pulled. Ramiel was pulled from his hiding place, and skidded to the floor.

"Ramiel," she said, kneeling down to him, and lifting his head, "I would have thought you would have learnt. You can't play with Seraphim, especially not when he's with me."

"You cannot join him. He betrayed you as well as the Myrkur Aniol. You can't trust him not to leave you again," said Ramiel, almost desperately.

"Well, Ramiel," said Keitha seductively, "I have ways of making sure that he doesn't leave me again. And if he does, I can kill him in an instant."

She stood up and walked back to Seraphim, who smiled down at her.

"What do you think we should do with him, my love?" he asked, his hand moving slowly towards the hilt of his sword.

"Don't kill him yet, Seraphim," she replied, "I want to play with him first. He will know the true meaning of pain by the time I'm done with him..."

Ramiel hung his head "I see now, you truly are the loniest are you not."

Keitha stopped "What's that suppose to mean?"

Ramiel brought his head up "I had hoped that in my life I would never have to raise my blade to kill my own. I guess that was just naive of me. Very well, all I want to know is what you see with him? If you go back, what waits for you but more unhappiness."

Keitha sighed "So young and you don't--"

Ramiel cut here short "No, I believe I am the only one who sees. He cares not for anyone just as you or Kuroichi. That's the reason I won't be associated with you people. You bare no aliegence to anyone, not even those who you might come to love. I would never allow myself to live in such a way, as such I would never be involved with the likes of youself. And now I cast the light." The room was suddenly filled with light emminating from his body.

Keitha called out "Where are you going boy? Trying to run won't hel---" cut short by a sudden cold chill.

Ramiel was on the move, but not in the traditonal way. He was using his scripter power on her, filling her with paranoia and doubt in an instant. This was quickly brought to an end by Seraphim who attacked Ramiel at random, not being aboe to see him clearly in the light.

Ramiel flew off to the window again, as he reached is he looked to Keitha "Think on that for a while. I can only hope you see them for what they are." With that said Ramiel dropped from the window and was gone in yet another brilliant flash of light. He could only hope that she would see the truth, but in the end he knew that was naive as well. He could only hope to use this new found weakness to kill her when the chance came. As strong as they think they are, since neither trusts the other entirely, they aer easily pushed to paranoia and fear. He would use his power to take advantage of this.

Ramiel returned to the ends of the city taking to the forest again. He preferred this world to the city any day. He walked through the trees and enterd a cave deep within near the mountains. He layed back on the cave wall and looked out to the starry sky once again "This is what I've been prepared for. Master, is this what you were preparing me for, or have I failed you." He went silent and looked to the sky again.

Keitha threw her head back and allowed a deep, dark laugh rush up her throat and burst out her mouth. The sudden surge of uncontrolled rage and amusement caused the nearby shadows to be drawn towards her, swirling and screaming around her. Seraphim watched as the vampiress turned amber colored eyes towards him.

"I want his hid hanging above my mantle in my quarters at Gyshram," the words leaving Keitha's lips sizzled with venom. A dark smile crossed Seraphim's lips as he saw much of the Shadow Assassin he once knew.

"Of course, my love." Seraphim took Keitha's hand into his, kissing the back of it gently.

The soft embrace instintly caused Keitha's surrounding shadows to quickly disperse. But the lust that filled her body had not been quenched, and Seraphim would clearly feel it through the small embrace. Another warm, dark smile flashed across his face as he pulled her down the street.

"I think some one needs to feast." Seraphim whispered into her ear.

Keitha's eyes grew wide. She hadn't fed on fresh flesh since she was last with Seraphim, and she had caused so much pain. Regret, and denial raced through her as Seraphim continued to coax her down the street. She was unable to deny him, his persistance and appeal thrown in her face.

Keitha stepped away from Seraphim once he had lured her into an ally. He placed a single finger up to indicate for her to wait as he stepped back out into the crowded streets. Keitha turned around, sliding her fingers across the brick wall to her right.

"You foolish underling. Its not merely love that ties me to Seraphim. The wounds he inflicts on this immortal body heal and are to never be seen again. Kuroichi, the silver-haired demon, will bring order to this corrupted world. Once, many lifetimes before yours...vampires did not live under rules of clans; lords. We were one and only, free to do what we willed. Now...we lay in wait for orders. Orders to "better the clan". No, I know what I fight for, Ramiel. I fight for freedom that only the destruction of the clans can bring." Keitha spoke to herself, to the wall until Seraphim suddenly ducked into the ally way again, this time with a young girl in his arms.

She was heavily intoxicated in human lust, Seraphim's hand wrapped playfully around her waist. Keitha watched as he backed her into a wall. She was completely clueless of Keitha as Seraphim continued to seduce her. With a sudden gasp, Seraphim sank his teeth deep into the girl's neck, blood drippling down it and around Seraphim's mouth. He pulled away quickly, and turned towards Keitha.

The Shadow Assassin's eyes grew wide with the sight...the smell of blood so close to her. There were no shadows in the alley way to scream at her this time as Seraphim offered her the rest of the girl. Keitha backed away and Seraphim sneered, finishing the girl off.

"What was that about?" He questioned after dumping the body in a dumpster.

"Nothing," Keitha looked away.

Seraphim drew her eyes back up by tugging on her chin softly. Her eyes instintly settling on his lips, blood resting quietly on them. Keitha licked her own lips as she watched his mouth move, completely unaware of what he was saying. The droplets were slowly slidding down his lip.

Keitha lurched forward, she pulled Seraphim's lower lip into her mouth, the blood softly coating her tongue and overwhelming her senses. Her fangs grew and pierced Seraphim's bottom lip, Keitha franticly sucking his blood into her mouth.

Oh how she loved to tease him. Kashi knew all too well that this was just a tease, nothing more, although he wished that wasn't the case.

Leila backed away from him, looking at the bodies again. Their blood was young and fresh, untainted. She would be full for a while yet. Licking her lips in satisfaction, Leila turned to Kashi who had made his way over to her again.

" We should leave the bodies here," Leila suggested firmly, " Give the police something to think about."

Kashi didn't like the idea. It would be easy to dispose of the bodies, but he knew Leila all too well. She liked to stir trouble wherever she went. He would have to dispose of them later.

There was a sudden knocking on the door. Leila promptly walked over to it and opened it slightly. The waitress told Leila of Ketiha's message and left after her job was done. Leila neither shut the door nor turned towards Kashi.

A loud and rather vicious snap was heard from inside her kimono. Kashi knew something has tested her temper but the calibur of the sound. He approached her cautiously.

" What did she want Leila?" he asked firmly.
" Keitha sent me a message... Seraphim is here," she snarled.

Straightening herself, Leila finally produced the fans that made her the Fan Maiden.
" Kashi.... I do apologise but I must leave your presence now. Something.... important has reared its ugly and traitorous head."
" Very well..." Kashi sounded a little disappointed.

She smiled at him. " Do not worry Kashi. We'll continue our fun when we travel to see Kuroichiro."

With that, she was gone.

===================================

In a nearby dark alleyway, Keitha and Seraphim were embracing each other, Keitha's bloodlust taking over her reason. She suckled Seraphim's blood from his lips in an almost manic fashion. She was getting to point where she would be lost in her bloodlust. But this had to stop.

A flutter of clothing caught Keitha's attention. She stopped her drinking and looked into the darkness of the alleyway. She could see the figure of Leila approach her. And she could sense Leila was in no mood to be played with.

Leila stopped in her path, looking at Seraphim with a filthy look, then at Keitha with a more dirty look.
" Keitha...." she snarled. " To think I held you in deep respect. I knew you had feelings for this... Seraphim.... the traitor.... but... I thought your better judgement would have prevented you to become this...."

Keitha smiled and walked towards Leila who stood firm.
" My dear Leila...."

" I am not one to be jealous Shadow Assassin. Here I thought you had thrown away your lust and alliance with Seraphim when he betrayed you. You know both you and I have have the same goals, want the same freedom. I am not your underling, your weaker partner but your equal."

The fans splayed out, dazzling both Keitha and Serpahim as the streelights were reflected upon the silver.

" I do not wish to fight you Keitha, for you know our strengths are equal, but if your bloodlust has clouded your sense of judgement, then so be it."

Keitha smirked and dashed forward, signalling her intent to fight. Leila dodged her first attack and blcoked the second with her fan. Twirling around, Leila grabbed Keitha by the neck and made her look into her cold jade eyes - into her slit pupils.

An eternal darkness surrounded the two. Leila standing, Keitha also standing a couple of feet away from her. There was no light in this realm, only darkness that ran for eternity. Keitha looked around, knowing this place. She turned back at Leila and snarled.

" You didn't...." she growled.
Leila smiled. " Of course I did."
Keitha growled. She knew what this was. It was Leila's 'special' ability.
" Now, you just cool off here Keitha.... you shadows don't have any power here, remember?"

Keitha knew all too well what she meant. This was Leila's realm, and she could change it with a whim.

====================================

Seraphim looked around. The two assassins had disappeared entirely when that Leila made Keitha look into her eyes. He wondered what kind of ability could this Leila possess. But it didn't matter now. He had other things to do.

OOC: Sorry Wraith, but Leila just had to come to the rescue. You won't be able to find them easily. DC, tag! :P

After a long conversation on the phone, the sun had begun to rise. Jarrah looked to his left and could see that Akuma had fallen asleep. The child had the appearance of a newly reborn vampire, waiting to open her eyes to the rising moon, the way a human child would when first born to the sun. With ease, Jarrah picked her up and carried her inside the home, only to see a chaotic mess that had risen within the house and shaking his head as he walked through it. He came to the stairs, smelling the air that drafted down from the upper level, knowing at once that the upper level was filled with Zugai and young prey that was lured into the home. He knew that Akuma?s room wouldn?t have been occupied but nonetheless, he would?ve rather not have her wake up to the scent of blood. Jarrah then walked into a small hallway to his left and entered the first room on his right, a guest room that came with the house, though no one ever occupied it much.

?There ya go, kid. Rest easy here and by tomorrow?s nightfall, we?ll make our way to Japan, where Kuroichi lives. And then, you can have the fun of yer life, eh? Rest easy, then.?

Closing the door behind, Jarrah made his way around the house, closing all of the open windows and doors, making sure to cover each area to protect his clan from the burning sun that would surely kill them instantly. Finally, every nook and cranny had been closed and covered, the various Zugai who had been sleeping uncomfortably were placed in their rightful places, and Jarrah had cleaned up most of the debris that they had caused. He then stretched his burly arms and yawned greatly, nearly shaking the entire house that sat at the edge of the beach. Before he walked down to the end of the hallway, he looked into the room where he laid Akuma and saw her sound asleep but just as soon as he was about to close the door, word were murmured from her breath.

?The Diamond calls. It calls.?

Curious about the Diamond, Jarrah walked back in and gently closed the door. He took a seat in the large velvet chair next to the bed and listened carefully to what Akuma was saying.

?Its Brethen must find its way to their rightful place. The Diamond calls them. It calls them.? Suddenly after moments of saying, ?It calls them.? Akuma awoke suddenly to find Jarrah comforting her and allowing her to rest again. She sat up slowly and looked around the room, then had the sudden urge to wrap her small hands around the Death Diamond, which was absent from her neck. Frantically, she felt for it and looked down to where it should be, then quickly searched for it in the bed, the desk, all the while Jarrah tried to explain that it was given to Kuroichi to borrow. Akuma suddenly retreated into her silent ways and glared at Jarrah for the closest thing to her, other than Jarrah, was the Diamond, even though it was an object. She lied back down with her back towards Jarrah and crossed her arms in bed. Jarrah could do nothing but give her rest, as he needed it as well.

Beth smiled gently as Helios rested her back to the earth. His eyes had flickered briefly to her shoulder, but one nod from the woman told him that he was not to worry about her for the moment. Beth managed to raise herself to her elbows, wincing as pain shot down her side. She hissed and felt her head spin before she fell back to the sand, a puff of dust swirling around her head. She could faintly smell the scent of her blood mixed with sweat and adrenaline. She closed her eyes and wheezed as she drew a breath before she slipped into unconsciousness.

When Beth came to her senses she was in a large bed, a comforting heat and pressure on her stomach and a dull ache in her shoulder. She couldn?t remember anything from the battle, except?

?Helios?? she whispered softly, her lips dry from sleeping with her mouth open, no doubt, it had always been a bad habit. She choked suddenly on the cold air before the pressure on her stomach lifted and Beth peered down to see Helios smiling groggily up at her. He flashed her than usual smile that set her fears at ease and rested his palm on her cheek. Beth smiled and brought a heavy hand up to rest it on Helios? before she relaxed again.

?Thank you, Helios, you saved my life.?

?Not at all, Elizabeth, I merely aided the process. Orlok was more than capable of handling a few stinking Knubrap, I?m sure.?

?You?re so modest, Helios.? Beth tried to touch his face, but the throbbing in her shoulder caused her arm to lose strength half way, and she ended up slipping her fingers down Helios? neck to rest on his shoulder. She mumbled crossly to herself and pulled back her hand, holding it to her chest.

Helios chuckled at her pout and squeezed his friend?s hand. ?Always so stubborn, Beth. The doctor says you need rest.?

?We can?t,? Beth protested, ?We must meet with Kuroichi. I can heal on the plane and a Gwyar doctor can see me in Japan.?

?Beth??

?We have to get there!?

Helios yelped as Beth threw his hand back and tried to lurch up out of bed, stumbling a little as she attempted to find her feet.

?This means a lot to me Helios?I?m not a damsel in distress.?

Beth gave Helios a pleading, yet meaningful, look as she sat, hunched slightly on the edge of the bed. She flexed her fingers and cast her eyes around for her shinai, attempting to stand again.

?So stubborn??

OOC: Justice, Mugen, do what you will. I know I moved the fight, but feel free to do a flashback or something. It would be awesome if we could head off to Japan in the next couple of posts and maybe meet with Kuroichi there. Hope this post was okay, you two, I know it was pretty much all fluff, but I have a soft spot for romance. ^_~

Keitha snarled as her eyes danced across the darkness, Leila's life-force pulsing loadly in her head. Light, invisible light, flashing at the corner of her eyes every so often. The unbearable silence ripping at Keitha's conciousness as she paced back and forth.

Keitha's head swirled with the rush of fresh blood flowing through her, heightening all of her senses, but there was nothing to be sensed. It was driving Keitha's body crazy. She lusted for flesh, for the red liquid that was so forbidden to her.

"Why did you bring me here?" Keitha growled, swirling around to catch a glimpse of Leila dancing about the darkness.

"Because we don't need you losing yourself in blood lust again. I'm sure in a moment you'll remember what happened last time." Leila's voice bounced off the darkness and came at Keitha from every where.

The Shadow Assassin swirled around and crotched towards the seemingly endless darkness. She covered her head and rocked back and forth. Her heart bound, sweat pouring down her face as Leila's voice continued to dance about her head. It was like the shadows had found her in this empty neverland, eating away at her mind once again.

Keitha threw her head back, hissing as her fangs drew themselves back into her mouth, her pubils dialecting to their full extent as her body's lust burst through her veins. She did not scream as her eyes suddenly shrunk back to side and her body went almost completely limp.

Keitha took a sharp breath and looked about the emptiness that surrounded her. She took a few more shallow breathes before standing to her full height. She ran her fingers through her long, dark hair before turning her focus back to the very clear Leila.

"Did you leave Kashi back at the hotel," Keitha's voice had turned back to its normal, calm tone.

"Are you done with Seraphim?" Leila asked, almost bitterly.

Keitha smirked and wrapped her arm around her partner's waist. "I'll never be truly done with Seraphim until this war is over."

Leila looked into Keitha's eyes, seeing the same, dark eyes that had a sense of warmness to them. She knew that her partner was back.

Inside her mind, Leila sighed with relief. She hated to deal with Keitha when her bloodlust had taken over her. It was something that Leila didn't wish to deal with when they were on such an important mission.

Leila closed her eyes and regulated her breathing. The darkness dissolved away and the two found themselves on a rooftop many many blocks away from the hotel that they were staying in earlier that night. The sun started to peak its head over the horizon. THe hot rays of lights burning both Leila and Keitha.

" We have to find somewhere to stay, before that accursed sun rises," Leila hissed.
" Agreed," Keitha concurred.

The two assassins leapt off of the roof, down into an alleyway. They were looking for anything that would be sufficient enough to hide them from the sun until the night came again.Searching through the streets, Leila and Keitha finally found a fine-looking apartment building that was just about to go onto the real estate market.

" This should do," Keitha said, looking up at the building. The sun's light was getting more intense.
" Let us hurry then."

They managed to get into the building before the sun dawned completely. Leila cursed the sun as the two women drew the curtains over the windows, cutting out the sunlight. Leila withdrew her arms back into her kimono, looking around the adequately-furnished apartment. She walked towards the bathroom, looking at herself in the mirror, her cold jade-green eyes glittering maliciously.

Going back out to Keitha, she turned to her partner.

" Now..... Keitha.... you've yet to tell me what happened between yourself and Seraphim those years ago..... I wish to know now."

"Dammit!" howled Seraphim as Keitha left him. He turned and punched his hand into the wall, smashing straight through the concrete. Someone saw him down the alley, and walked towards him.

"Are you alright, sir?" he asked, "You seem a little troubled." Seraphim snarled and grabbed the man by the throat, hauling him up into the air and snapping his neck brutally. He bit ferociously into his neck and drained the blood from his body.

He howled bestially, and ran from the alleyway where two of his victims now lay. As soon as he had left, he managed to calm himself. He even laughed slightly. There was currently a hunt for a serial killer, known as the Shredder. He always left his victims' necks ripped open and their blood drained. The police believed he was some sort of Satanist.

But he was merely a vampire. A vampire named Seraphim. But he need not concern himself with human matters now. For now, he needed to find Kuroichi, and he assumed that he would be with the leader of the Ijuuj.

So it was simply a case of finding the Ijuuj leader, and he would be reunited with Kuroichi. But how to find him...?

Ramiel took to the back of his cave as the sun began to rise near the city. He was alone again, but this was a feeling he was all to familiar with. I didn't matter anymore, he was free again and that was all he cared about. He found himself with his time to decide if Kuroichi really was wrong. He was unsure of this mans goals or what it would mean. There was only one thing he was sure of, he would not fall under some totalitarian leadership. Kuroichi was a man who needed power, and all Ramiel knew was he wouldn't be the one to give it to him. Even if it meant standing alone, the only sane mind in and world of insanity, he would do it. It was the only thing that made sense anymore.

He wouldn't sleep well this day, he would sit in his cold corner of the cavern, alone once again. He could hear a dripping coming from a deeper part of the cave. This system here was notorius for it's intricacy, and had claimed the lives of many. He looked deeper and walked further in. A smell of perfume, that of wine and fresh blood, wafted in the damp air. He knew this smell, he decided to stop and return to his corner. She was here, but he had no desire to see her right now. It had been to long, and he had lost his lust for her he once held. He sat in the shadows, if she wanted to see him, she'd come out of the shadows eventually.

Keitha chuckled as she threw herself onto a couch that sat a good distance from any of the windows in the apartment. In all honesty, the Shadow Assassin really didn't want to recall what had happened between Seraphim and herself. All she wanted to do was restore her energy for that night to come, when they would travel to see Kuroichi.

"Can this not wait until tonite, Leila? Its been a long night and I much rather sleep then bring up the past." Keitha moaned as she threw her hands behind her head as she leaned back against the couch.

"You brought this back into the present, Keitha. Now explain why you took off with this Seraphim and nearly lost yourself in lust again." Leila said with some bit to her words as she sat not far from Keitha.

Keitha took a big sigh and sat forward, placing her elbows on her knees and her chin in her hands. "Its not really that complicated a story I suppose. I met Seraphim shortly after Serio died in the first war with Kuroichi. The Silver-haired demon didn't seem to quite fancy me much, not really sure why, but he paired me with Seraphim to take out some of the clan members in Japan."

"And..?" Leila straighted her clothing as she waited for the whole story.

Keitha chuckled again as she swung her legs around and stretched out on the couch. "Well, Seraphim just seemed to touch that one part of my being that I had yet to control. Beyond where my shadows could go and unleashed the one thing Serio had tried to prevent. I found myself lost in a world I had never imagined existed. The unbelievable power that we, vampires, hold over humans is a rush. Their brillant red substance flowing through me like a rush of brillance all at one unstoppable moment." Keitha licked her lips at the thoughts that ran through her mind. "Seraphim and I, we could not be touched once my lust kicked in, he was all that brought focus to my world again. Well, at least focus to our next target or what lay hidden within his loins." Keitha smirked at the raging passion that once was shared between her and the Myruk Anoil traitor.

"And you won't be going back to that, will you?"

Keitha's sudden rush of memories of lust, blood, and sex faded into the terrible flood of unforgivable sins that she had commited. The promises she had broken not only to the Gyshram, but to Serio as well; her lover and creater.

Keitha turned her head away from Leila's direction and stared blankly at the curtain covered window. "No...I want be going back to that any time soon." Keitha replied.
