Timber Valley - a city that is surrounded by a mountainous rainforest with a long white sandy beach that has lively reef and a chain of islands not that far off the coast. It is where any person would want to live. But why all the drama?

The graduating class of 2006 have been drawn into what seems to be a soap opera. Their lives have been turned upside-down, stretched sideways and been left out to dry.

And it isn't as if their lives weren't already hard enough. Their teachers at Red Breeze High School have decided to go crazy on them. Now, going to school is more like going to see the circus. Everyone is on edge with the up-and-coming final exams - the teachers more so than the students.

What dramas will unfold? Will the students graduate with their minds firmly intact? Or will the teachers drive them to within an inch of their sanity?

She hurriedly ran out her door and down the hall toward the shower she stopped and opened a door on her right side and grabbed a towel and twirled around into the shower room.

After a couple of minutes she rushed down the stairs only to be confronted by her mother. ?Aiyah, Li Xiao. When will you ever be on time?? Leah barely paid attention; she was trying to get a pink pin into her hair. She smiled in the mirror and winked at her reflection. The smell of cinnamon rolls filled the air. Leah hurried into the kitchen and picked up one of the round delicacies and picked up her bag and flute and started toward the door.

?You children these days, all about Australian Idol, and fashion, and boyfriends. Not like when I used to live back in Hong Kong. Oh no. We used to worry about our grades and our future-?

?Mom. Please. Not one of your lectures. I thought you were going to stop them when we moved from Singapore.?

?Fine.? Leah?s mom turned her attention back toward the T.V. Leah walked towards the door and closed it behind her. She took in a deep inhale and looked around. It was always misty in the mornings.

?Leah!?

Leah looked toward the right. A boy about the same age as her was emerging from the neighboring house, and it seemed it was he whom called out for her.

?Hey Alex!?

?I see you?re late as well.? He chuckled as Leah hit him a little with her purse.

She's not afraid to say what she thinks, even if it will hurt the person because she thinks everyone should have a right to know things truthfully. She's a bit of a joker and likes to play tricks on people, which people have sought after her for revenge because of that. If someone insults her honour, or anyone close to her, she will stand up and fight. She has a lot of hobbies, like playing the flute, drawing/painting, singing, and practising martial arts, but her real passion is gymnastics.[/size][/font]

She's a good student, finishing all her work on time, and getting awards for doing well in tests. Daine takes a lot of out of school activities like; martial arts, art classes, singing, music lessons, and playing sport, but her favourite by far is gymnastics which she excels at. Her parents never realised but the reason she takes all the out of school activities is because they're always working and never have time for her, so the activities take her mind off things.[/size][/font]

[B]Personality:[/B] Alexander is from a very rich area, and thusly can appreciate art in any form. It also has formed him to become a creative individual all around. He approaches problems from many angles, and thinks from different perspectives. In the company of friends, he is very sociable and happy, but with strangers he tends to quiet down more, sit back, and watch things. When in a bad mood, he withdraws to where ever solitude exists, usually wishing not to be interrupted. Overall, he is honest and gentle, happy and observant.

Alex grew up in an upper class neighborhood in New York City. It was by the off chance that his rich uncle had bought his middle class family an apartment suite, that his family was living in such a space. He had several siblings, and was the oldest of them; it was there he was forced to command them to do chores, and it was there he began to value solitude.

He grew up with a handful of richer boys and girls, most of which who held the arts in high regard; on friday nights they'd drive to galleries, concerts, buy photography off the street corner, hang out in the famous coffeehouses of NYC nightlife. While most of his friends had to sacrified their studies to have such a good time, Alexander did not, due to his Mensa-rated IQ and abstract, far-off grasps of even the most solid concepts. He breezed through his studies, not worrying too much about things, as the work did not seem like a challenge. It seemed like monotonous busy work.

His father made him take advantage of his rich surroundings, and enrolled him in a fencing class. Alex signed up for the soccer team for the extra challenge, and managed to make it to varsity as a freshman. His father and mother expected him to do well -- his performance at everything else had been astonishing, and of course it was the same way once again.

During class she alway's loves to raise her hand and participate in the discussion. Her peppy nature seems to make her fit into the "popular" crowd. "Takes more muscles to frown than to smile" is one of Leah's infamous qoutes. She is the first one on the scene to cheer someone up.

Leah stands around 5'6''. Not that tall due to her heredity. Both her parents aren't quite the towering giants. Since Leah tends to work out and watch her diet, she only wighs in at 115 lbs. She thinks obeign overweight is "not very good for your self esteem", and thinks being anorexic is "just way to gross".

[B]Short Bio[/B]: Leah was born somewhere in the southern region of the People's Republic Of China. Her father was determined to give his family a good home, so he arranged a move to Singapore. Leah's father was a businessman, but the company he worked for was no where in Singapore. He decided that he would try and make his own company. It resulted in becoming a million dollar business. Leah's father sent Leah and her mother to Australia, hoping that they would stay there and enjoy their wealth.

Leah was about 14 when the move from Singapore to Australia took place. Of course, like any other teen moving away, tried to protest, but was overpowered by both her parents. Then she came up with the excuse "But I won't see Daddy anymore!" And once again was counter-argued with "He will come every holiday or special event."

With no choice she packed her things and moved to Timber Valley. It was very beautiful and calm, something Leah always dreamed of living in. She quickly made friends with the boy next. He seemed very sweet and nice. Leah became attracted to him and developed a small crush on him.

Short Bio:Suzu born in Japan. His mom and dad worked all day but they hardly had any money to spend. One day they went almost bank rupt. So they moved to Australia.

There his mother and father found work. He was only 13 at the time so he didn't understand what was going on. Eventually, his sister went to college. He lives mostly with his mom since his dad is at work most of the time.

When his dads off work he prepares for work so he rarly talks to him which kind of gets him deprerssed. Finally his mom and dad..and him were sick of big city life and moved to Timber-Valley. He still resisdes there.

She has a stepfather. Her father died in a fire about 2 years ago in Japan, he was a firefighter. She doesn't call him stepfather "father" or "stepfather" she calls him by his first name. She can't accept the fact that his her new father even though her other sister accepted it.
She originally was born in Japan.She grow up there as a child and she spent most of the adolescents in there too. Yet as soon her mother got married to her stepfather they moved to Australia. They have about a year of residents in Australia.

Personality: Cool headed and has a slow temper. He's not exactly sociable, but those who know him come to respect him. He's caring and supportive of his friends. He is shy in high public situations, but can manage well as long as people are laughing. He often sacrifices his own happiness to make others happy, this often causes those close to him to worry about him.

Bio: He was born in the US, but after his parents died in a car accident he was left to be raised by his aunt and uncle. He first came to them when he was 10 years old and has lived here ever since. His aunt and uncle are nice enough and he gets along just fine. His only complaint is they're work-aholics and there almost never home. He spends many nights alone in there house.
He had a hard time making friends when he first arrived, since he is usually a little reclusive. He has managed a few friends, and he seems content on what he has. The friends he has are friends in the truest sense, they stick close to him and are always supportive of him. He does what he can to return this favor to them. Some times this worries them though, since he seems to be willing to make himself miserable for them.
He has managed to be friend Suzu, Alex, and Hitomi. He has met many of the others, but is uncertain weather or not he can really consider them friends and feels uncomfortable around them for the most part. He has gotten by in school just fine, but his only regret is that he can't reveal his true feelings, probably since they seem divided.

Personality: Brandi is simple. She's polite, modest, all smiles and the optimist that everyone knows. She tries to cooperate with everyone to make them happy, and will try and be as flexible as possible to help out. Brandi often hides her emotions from her friends because she doesn't want them worrying about her.

However, around her crush, it's a different story. Brandi gets very flustered to the point where she'll jumble up her sentences around him. And she'll often become afraid and try to avoid him altogether.

As far as studies go, she puts them before everything. It's one of her top priorities and she'll study all night for a test.

Short Bio: Brandi comes from a normal family where she is an only child. Her mother and father are much like herself, and are very welcoming to not only friends and family, but strangers as well.

As for Brandi's extended family, she is the only besides her aunts, mother and grandmother. Her cousins are all boys, and they love to tease her. There is one cousin of hers who taught her a little bit of kickboxing, and she is quite good at it.

Brandi is also fluent in French, reasons are that she and her father were natives of France. She was born in the middle of a Cannes summer to an Australian woman.

She can speak fluent French, but she has lost her gift for Gaelic due to the move, because her parents started speaking only English around her instead of their Gaelic. She is very ambitious. She likes tattoos and piercings, as well as partying occasionally. She's not extremely popular, but most people can tolerate her. She is a smoker and has been since she was twelve. Her father is an alcoholic, and her mother is suicidal. She gets out her stress by boxing. Boo loves to box, and has even gotten into trouble for it. She is also bi. Most people in school know it, but she doesn't talk about it, and no one asks. She doesn't want her parents to know, either, because they'd kick her out. She likes to smoke menthols.

Her eyes are a dark green color and her skin is slightly tan due to the Australian sun (though she is still surprisingly fair skinned, being of German decent). She normally dresses in tank tops and shorts with sandals on her feet, no matter what season. And she is never seen without her duct tape bracelet around her left wrist and her charm necklace, given to her by a friend back in New York.

[B]Personality:[/B] Bianca's your average girl. She's always been rather shy around new people, but around friends and family she's as loud and obnoxious as you can imagine. And she's had her fair share of pranks and trouble making as well. Usually the calm, sensible one (oddly enough) out of her group of friends, she's usually the one that has to get them all out of trouble. As ditzy as she may seem to some, being a blonde and all, she's actually rather intelligent.

[B]Short Bio:[/B] Bianca was born in New York City, and grew up there from pre-school to eighth grade. She was so close to her friends that each one knew more about the other than they did themselves. She had connections all about town, even though she was still just fourteen. However, the summer prior to her freshman year of high school, her mother announced that they were moving to a small town in Australia where some relatives lived. At the time, she was devistated. Feeling betrayed, she threatened to run away, never speak to her parents again, and anything she could think of.

But she couldn't stop the move, and she arrived in Australia a few days before the start of high school. Bianca transitioned quite smoothly, to the surprise of her family, and herself. She was a bit of a trouble maker at first, and developed the nickname "B", as that was all the teachers could yell before they noticed she was no longer standing with them. Though she misses NYC, she still gets to visit every summer and hopes to go back for college as well.

[b]Apprearance-[/b] [see attachment] Standing at a towering 6'1" tall and weighing 180 pounds in muscle, Sammy will be seen in a pair of slightly baggy blue jeans with several holes and tears and a faded back, right pocket from where his wallet is, a pair of dark brown boots, and a loose, but fitting T-shirt. His blue-black hair dangles over his eyes, touching his lips, giving him a dark and mysterious character. It is unruley, but not disshelved; he can run his fingers through it as long as he wants, but it still goes right back into place.

[b]Personality-[/b] Most people will call him arrogant and cocky, but in fact, Sammy's quite--well, okay, a tad arrogant and cocky. But all around, he's a push-over, particularly with the ladies. Sammy may be a bit brash and playful, but he does know how to respect and appreciate women. Don't mess with his friends, guy or girl. But, word of advice, if you so happen to mess with any of his girl pals, you'd better move out of state. Sammy has been known to "hunt" down guys and beat the tar out of them. In fact, Sammy got suspended for a week from school for smashing a chair into a jock's face for talking trash about his crush.

[b]Short Bio-[/b] Growing up for Sammy was rough. The oldest child, and the only male out of 5 children, he was forced to grow up faster than he was supposed to. He and his family lived in the harsh countryside of Australia, purely homeschooled and born to farm for survival. At the age of 14, Sammy was weighed down with more responsibility when his father died while trying to tame a horse. Try as they might, Sammy and his mother were unable to bring in enough crop to feed the family. So, it was time for them to move to the city and find jobs. Sammy's mother was able to get a decent job as a school cook, and Sammy was stuck with an over-working warehouse.

High school was another sort of hell for Sammy. Because he was homeschooled, Sammy had to be held back to meet the city's schooling laws; this only confused teens because he was a year or two older, but in the same grade. So, you can imagine the tormenting words from the same age group, but higher grades. Being seperated from his youngest 2 sisters really irritated him. Being in the same building as the older girls wasn't all that promising either; not when he was in the principal's office everyday for slugging guys for taunting them. At the age of 16, Sammy managed to meet the girl of his dreams. She was a cute blonde from the US who totally got all the guy's attention whenever she entered a room. Her name was Bianca. Now, Sammy is a well-spoken guy, but when it came to saying "hello" to Bianca, it were as if he had lost his breath and he had forgotten how to speak English. Once he finally did manage a "hi", the smile on her face took his heart captive, and he's never been able to leave her side. She's had boyfriends, sure, and each time Sammy kept a close eye. But, as respectful as he is, he kept his distance--even though it killed him inside that someone else was able to hold and hug her, rather than him.

No matter who her eyes rested upon, the two have remained good friends.

[B]Personality:[/B] Quincy is the quiet, serious type, plain and simple. He doesn?t like crowds and he doesn?t like people?well, not many. He prefers to keep to himself and is more than happy to spend his Friday night studying or watching a TV show about some dead civilisation. That, to Quincy, is heaven. He doesn?t exactly enjoy school, but he puts up with it. He never feels as if it?s teaching him anything new except that humanity is, indeed, going down the pan.

He doesn?t have people to call friends, but when he does interact he keeps his answers short and sharp. He has a cold and mysterious exterior, which, much to his disappointment, seems to attract a certain kind of woman.

[B]Short Bio:[/B] Quincy was born in London, England, specifically Hertfordshire, and was raised by both his parents in a loving environment. Actually, he was pretty much a happy kid when he was in England, but was more than a little miffed when his parents decided to uproot him and move to Australia, where they wanted to start a tour boat business, taking tourists around the Great Barrier Reef, and the like. Because of this Quincy?s parents are often away from home and leave him alone in the house, knowing full well he can look after himself.

This doesn?t make him very happy.

He was, and always has been, a top student who flies through every subject without even seeming to try. The truth is, he doesn?t make friends easily, so instead of going out and socialising will sit inside with his books. The fact never bothered his parents seeing as their son was deemed to be a boy genius. It did however worry certain teachers who Quincy was more open too, namely his English teacher, who had taken interest in the boy as soon as she started teaching him.

So now Quincy has lost what little friends he?s made and the one person who was actually trying to get him out more. He is, in his opinion, beyond saving and simply wishes to graduate and move on.

He prefers to either be with his mother and sister, with a one or two friends, or by himself, either way he?d rather not be in a large group. He has a tough exterior with a soft interior for those who are close to him but he is known not to take kindly to people who want to be rude to his friends. He may seem quiet but Michael is one of few who will stand up and raise his voice to speak his opinion and the truth. He despises those who speak lies especially those who lie right to his face but most of all he despises people who try to act bigger than they are. He is somewhat of a dark and brooding character with a cool and collected demeanor, misunderstood to the tenth degree yet not caring for the world except the one he?s come to know.

[B]Short Bio-[/B] Born as Michael Dean-Arquette on March 17, 1988 in Brooklyn, New York, he lived with his mother and father until June 9, 1993 when his sister, Michelle Dean-Arquette arrived into the family. But it wasn?t until five years after his sister?s birth that his father passed away due to Ideopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis, a disease that affects the lungs. He and his mother knew that his father?s time would come though they didn?t realize that it would come so soon, leaving them confused and finding themselves being questioned by lawyers. His mother was at a loss filled with mourning and sorrow, a cut in her soul that ran deeper than the blood in her veins.

During the four years that he and his family spent without his father, Michael turned for the worse, finding a fight whenever he could, going to parties at such a young age, and drinking as much as he could but before the summer he was about to enter high school, Michael?s mother decided that he needed a different environment for him and his sister to live in and moved them to Timber Valley, an entire opposite of Brooklyn. Finally, he?s survived the four years of hell and is finally ready to say good bye to the world that held him down and say hello to the world he wanted to return to, Brooklyn. But what about the world he has in Timber Valley?

[B]Short Bio:[/B] Nick lived on the other side of Australlia but moved and transfered to this school. It was hard at first trying to find his way through everything but he got the hang of it. Making friends was hard too. He was a shy person and always had his face in a book.

His mother always worried if he was doing alright in school. Nick would just smile and say it's fine. He has a little sister in grade school and he loves her very much. It seems she's the only one he could open up to her.

[B]Personality:[/B] If asked to describe himself in a single phrase, D would smile, flip his hair, and state quite honestly, "I am a man-ho." And he'd be right. Dameon Gray is a relentless flirt, peddling out his beauty and his charms like currency to any lady (or lad) lucky enough to garner his attention. He toys with emotions, and hearts, and other bits as well. He is cocky, confidant, and exudes sexual attraction almost at will. Add to that the fact that he is utterly shameless, and you get yourself one quality man-ho.

Additionally, he's clever, doggedly persistant, and yet terribly lazy. Which means, of course, that he always takes not the easiest route [I]possible[/I], but the easiet route that's [I]plausible[/I]. Meaning the one that takes minimal effort with the maximum end result. He never turns down a challenge, but always tries to take things at his own leisure regardless.

[B]Short Bio:[/B] Dameon is, unsuprisingly, from a very well-off family of affluence and importance in the community. His charm and confidence are bred from years of knowing that, yes, he is rich, pretty, and utterly wonderful. His parents made sure to let him know this at an early age so that people wouldn't take advantage of him. He also learned that to succeed in life, you must be willing to do just about anything to get what you really want. That, and mistresses for tea is a bad idea. He learned that at his uncle's funeral.

Once his parents were done climbing the societal ladders and making their early fortunes with cut-throat business tactics and just a teeny connection to the mafia, Dameon was flung into the peaceful little community of Timber Valley to see "the countryside." Dameon saw it, and decided that trees were boring. Not too much later, he also decided that fish were boring. Seeking something to do, he decided that girlfriends and, by exstension, boyfriends, were not boring, and made it his business to have one. When he grew bored, he got another one. Eventually, he supposed, he'd find someone he really liked and wouldn't bore him at all.

Then he'd get a mistress, he supposed. But would never invite them to tea.

(check my banner and avi) Generally skinny and lanky. He stands at 6'1" and his weight varies from time to time, but always thin. He is usually seen wearing baggy, but very stylish clothing. Due to many won and lost fights on the streets, Mike has various scars across his body. He is highly embarassed by them and tries his best to hide them, but it often proves difficult.

Mike is a hardened soul. His life from early on was ridden with hardship and humble experience. He is a bit shy, but once a person gets to know him, he is very talkative. Possibly the only person in his situation who has a knowledge of the street, his manneurisms and lingo tend to make him feel akward in his current crowd. Very much into the hip hop lifestyle, he is scared that people may not warm up to him very well due to this. He may seem a little rough around the edges, but all he really wants is to be accepted into his current community, and have some friends before he graduates.

Thought to be unintelligent due to his background, he suprises people with his simple wisdom. A fan of alot of nerdy things, this is another thing he fears people may ridicule him about. Never afraid of his past surroundings, he finds it ironic that the safest place he ever lived in, is the place that he also most fears.

Born in the south, Mike never knew his real father. His mother, a person he greatly admired, could only work up enough money to rent an apartment in a housing project. Growing up in a rough neighbourhood, Mike learned how to defend himself the hardway. Eventually, he took up Karate class, possibly the only activity he could get into in order to avoid the streets, his mother was happy to pay for them, hard as it was. The lessons he learned molded the person he is today, giving him confidence and an urge for knowledge and wisdom, which led him to becoming a better student in school.

The older he grew, the more Mike found that he disliked his surroundings, finding alot of his old friends in trouble, Mike tried his best to keep those close to him out of harms way. But sadly, many of them turned away from their friendship for a life of crime. This hurt him greatly, but only strenghtened his drive to do well in life and get out of his current situation. Soon though, he would find that fate is a funny thing. One day while he sat at his room studying, he heard his mother screaming hysterically from the living room. Fearing the worst, he rushed in only to see her jumping for joy in the air with a huge smile on her face. She had just won the lottery.

Not long after, Mike and his mother moved out of the projects and went up north-west. At first excited about his move from his life of hardships, he soon found himself missing his friends and familiar surroundings. Not wanting to worry or upset his Mom, he kept quiet about his worries, as he saw she was truely happy now, and he would never want to take away her hard earned happiness. This new, and enourmous house, the rich neighbours, and the new school he would be graduating from. It was all more intimidating than his former life. He just hoped people would like the new kid....
