Kre
The bell rung. "You happy now?" He asked her "Yes" she said. "Umm by they way..." he started blushing"Want to come over or something after school? He waited for a response but before she could answer he said. "Its ok if you don't" He said" I was just wondering. By now he was as red as a cherry but she couldn't tell because he was looking down. He started blancing up against the wall. She was thinking he could tell. "So want to?" H wondered
Citrus
Leah almost fell laughing as Sammy dodged the newspaper stand. She felt her purse slide off her arm. As she turned around to pick it up she met face to face with Mrs. Sherman. "MRS. NAGOON!" Leah tried her best to hold in a laugh as the teacher mis-pronounced her name. "What are you doing here?!" Mrs. Sherman had the worst Broad Australian accent. It resembled that of Steve Erwin the Crocodile Hunter. "Um I was just-" Mrs. Sherman didn't let her finish, instead she eyed the other two students behind Leah. She then drew her attention back to Leah. Leah;s eyes were starting to get roun. Hers tomach started to hurt. "You kids get back to school. I hope you three never attempt this again." She turned around on one heel and headed toward the coffee shop's parking lot. Leah slowly turned around to face Sammy and B. "Jeez... lets get back to school before we see another one of those clowns." The other two nodded and started back to school. Sammy looked at the girls on either of his side. He smiled and shoved his hands into his pocket. A slight breeze picked up, the three walked in silence. Leah skipped in front of them. "C'mon guys! Let's be happy!" "You seriously are the perky one!" B laughed and started to skip with her. Sammy trailed behind. They skipped up hill when they noticed someone putting up a poster. They waited until the person left until they check it. The poster read: DANCE!!! A school dance is coming up!! Only 2 dollars admission! So ask that someone special someone to come on down on Saturday night to dance the night away!! P.S: Don't expect this to be a smoke your head off party. We really want this to be fun. Be sure to try out the cheese flavored fish snacks!! Leah scratched her head. "Do they mean the Goldfish crackers?" "Yup the snack that smiles back!" Sammy laughed. "Who you all gonna ask?" B shrugged and so did Sammy. Leah frowned. "Oh." "Well I have someone in mind." Sammy shrugged again as he made the comment. Leah looked up suddenly. "Oh really? Someone we know?" "Yea tell us Sammy!" "Uh.. no you two are nosey!" He took both his index fingers and pushed them onto their foreheads (its just a taunt). The two girls chased him around the front gate of the school. Then the bell started to ring for brunch. "C'mon" Sammy lead them into the gates of the schoolas the other students poured out from their classes. Leah turned around and noticed a car pulling up. She squinted her eyes and saw a student getting out of the car. It was that one quiet kid who didn't talk. Leah thought he was cute, but she couldn't really get himt open up all the way. "Hey!!" She waved over to him. He sort of waved back as the car drove off. He went up to read the poster. And shrugged. "What's with the damn shrugging?" --------------------------------------------------------- Ok people!! It's time for brunch!! Have your characters notice the posters of the dance. Brunch will last for a while, as well as lunch. But that will take places after the next period. So go ahead!! And maybe ask out your cursh. ;) ;)
SlowChemical
Hitomi looked at Suzu why is he blushing? It tried to hide it the best he could yet it stilled showed even though he was looking down. He just asked her over to his house. Hitomi smiled well he always looked a bit cute this way. Hitomi half turned away from Suzu, closed her eyes and crossed her arms over her chest. "Well I don't know..." Hitomi said "Ohh well..okay.." Suzu studdered and looked a bit glommy. "Actually I think I will go. Anything to get me out my house it fine with me.." Hitomi grinned. Suzu was a truely a nice guy. He was in the hyper side. Yet that what she liked best about him. She liked cheering people up even though people think she didn't stand human emotion. Last year people started to call her a robot. Wow she wasn't much diffrent from the Quincy guy last year huh? "Well what time you want me to come over? We walk to your home after school? Or do i have to come by later?" Hitomi asked "Uhh ya i walk you home..i mean we walk to my house.." Suzu said lost in thought "Okay..now lets get going..can't stand standing her longer!" Hitomi pulled Suzu put of class not before glancing at that Quincy guy. renayiiq
The bell rang, and Boo hurried out of class. She ran to her locker, which was nearby, and she spied a poster for an upcoming school dance. "Won't that just be lovely," she mumbled to herself, "nope, not going...not by myself like last year..." She got her novel out of her locker and headed to her next class. In the hall, she almost walked right past Brandi. "Are you going to the dance?" asked Brandi. "Nope," replied Boudicca. "Why not?" "No one to go with, and besides, I've got better things to do." "If you say so." Boo walked past her and went to her next period class. This was going to be a long day. Sinistra
"C'mon Brandi, think!" The young girl shook her hands as she rose them to her head. Brandi was no where else but in front of the Dance posters just outside. She had read them, and quickly realized her dilemma. 'What am I going to do?!' Brandi was always nervous in front of Michael and Nick, and none of them really spoke so much as a sentence to one another. 'Hey Michael...nice day, isn't it? Say, I was just wondering if you would want to go to the dance with me? No! This is stupid. God knows that I can hardly finish a sentence with either one of them around...I'll try again. Hey Nick! Who are you taking to the dance?...No...It's not going to work.' Brandi sighed. "Well, I guess I'll have to figure something out." She sighed. "Well, I will. I'll face my fears and ask one of them. Unless one of them asks me...oh...what am I going to do?" She ran off to her locker in frustration. 'Okay. I have to calm down. It's okay. If it really comes down to it, I'll just ask if I can hang out with Leah. Yeah...that's what I can do.' --------------- Brandi sat down with Leah at brunch and began nibbling at a piece of toast. All the girls were talking about who they thought was going to ask them to the dance. It worried her a little. "So who do you want to ask you, Brandi?" B asked. "Me?" She practically choked. "Yeah? What's wrong? Too scared to admit it?" Leah teased. "No..." Brandi quieted down again. "Oh c'mon Brandi. We all know who you like. It's rather obvious." Bianca went along with Leah. "Is it really?" She asked, nevous. "Girl...you really are so...gullible!" Leah laughed. Brandi sighed and picked up another piece of toast. "But seriously," Leah continued. "Who do you want to ask you?" "Um..." Brandi chewed nervously as she watched Nick walking across the campus. But then there was also Michael! They were polar opposites, and she liked them both. "I don't know." "Oh, I think you know." B teased a little more.
2010DigitalBoy
Kaila merrily strolled out of the classroom and headed to the right, completely not noticing Jason who was on the other side of the door listening to music. He noticed her and started following her, to scared to speak. Kiala arrived at the cafeteria where a small group of girls was hudled around a poster. Kiala touched a finger to her chin wondering what she was missing then quickly headed over to them. DANCE!! The poster read. Kiala's eyes raced through the instruction paragraph as her heart sang with merriment! A dance! What a wonderful way to hang out with friends and show that special someone how awesome you are! But who was she to ask? She looked around and spotted Suzu taking a seat on the far side of the cafeteria. Ah, Suzu! What a great guy! But she had know idea if he even remotely liked him. She decided to go over and sit next to him. "Hey there Suzu!" She said smiling and holding up a peace sign. "Oh, hey Kiala!" Suzu replied. Kiala cut right to the chase. "Hey, who you takin to the school dance?"
Kre
"Dance?!?!" Suzu said while tilting his head to the side.'What dance?" He looked over at the wall a poster was hanging there that said DANCE. "Oh" he said"I'm not sure who I'm taking" He started thinking about asking Hitomi. He was still being pulled by her at least. Hitomi stopped and looked at Kiala and Suzu. "What?" Suzu said" It wasn't me" They both looked confused. But then again so did he. "umm... " Suzu muttered. "Hitomi... can I ask you something....?" He started to blush a little.
Ezekiel
Quincy was, at this moment in time, distraught. A dance. The epitome of all-evil in High School. He stared at the posted on the wall opposite his English class and felt a muscle twitch near his eye. No wonder he needed damn glasses. Usually, people who didn't socialise just wouldn't go to dances. Sadly for Quincy, he did not have that option. For him, it was go by choice, or be forced by insane relatives. Because if his mother didn't force him, his aunt would berate him. Or his dad's friend down at the market would drop a hint of how 'young people these days need to get married so young *cough, elbow, wink*' Quincy sighed and his shoulders sagged. Might as well deal and go, he supposed it couldn't hurt. Well...then again, this was high school. He leant against the corridor wall and ran a hand through his thick locks. He prayed no one would ask him, and if any of his teachers even hinted at the fact he should take a date he'd just walk straight out. Girls were scary--he decided this many years ago, and despite the fact he had what he believed to be gas every time he saw Bianca, he wouldn't dare ever ask her to go with him. So he'd go alone, he'd slip in at the back, stay for an hour, and then slip out. It was a good plan, Quincy decided, and he should stick with it. Yes. Quincy was then, most unfortunately, brought down into a strong headlock in mid thought. He snarled and tried to break free but instead ended up flailing miserably. He recognised the laugh and turned his gaze up to see Sammy, next to him was a boy he recognised as Dameon. He snarled again seeing as Dameon wasn't exactly his favourite person in the world. Then again, neither was Sammy. "So, Quincy, going to the dance?" Sammy asked, still keeping the scrawnier boy in a firm hold. Quincy gasped and grabbed Sammy's arm lamely before answering with what was supposed to be a defiant 'Yes, unfortunately'. Sammy merely laughed and instead walked out of the closest door, Quincy in tow. The bespectacled teen whimpered softly and tried to struggle free again, his book bag smacking into his legs as he was [STRIKE]walked[/STRIKE] dragged out into the courtyard. Sammy directed him to a seat and sat down next to him, not bothering to see if Dameon had followed. Quincy glared and stood to leave but Sammy tugged him down. "Eat with me today." "Wh-" "Just do it." OOC-Goddess, ULX, I hope this is okay. Your characters don't seem like bullies (and I hope I didn't make them to seem as such) but they do seem like the type to be amused by Quincy's antics.
2010DigitalBoy
Kiala noticed the sparkle in Suzu's eyes as he looked at Hitomi. Deciding it would be better if he went with who he really wanted she gave him a motion to make his move. She then got up. "Um, emergency, seeya!" She got up and moved to a table in the back of the cafeteria where Joshua was already eating his lunch lookeing increadibly hurt and lonely. Oh no! how had she forgotten too sit with him? She quickly hurried over and sat across from him. "Hey there Josh!" Josh turned totally red and he seemed to brighten up a bit. "Oh... h-hey... um... sorry but I don't think I know your name..." Kiala smiled. He was kind of cute and his blushing only made him cuter. "My name is Kiala! So, who are you going to the dance with?" Now Joshau turned fully red and he looked like he was going to faint. "I-I don't... um... know.. uh..." "Josh... I'll go to the dance with you!"
Starwind
occ: His name is Jason Jason was a little shocked and more embarassed by this. He wasn't sure if he wanted to even go or not, but he didn't want to disappoint her. he looked to her "Um.... Okay, that sounds like fun." He said as he began to realize just how red his face was. Kiala popped up "Great. Thank you." She reached out and hugged him again. This was the most contact he had ever had with a person outside of his family, and he wasn't quite sure how to handle himself here. So he just kept his hands to his side and tried to calm himself down. She let go of him and smiled "So why are you back here? Come on, come sit with us over here." She said as she dragged him behind her, headed for a table with some of the other girls. She sat him down and began to introduce him to the group. Revelation
OOC: Gomen nasai! I know this is a bit late but at least I?m here, right? I?ll get right onto things and try to catch up, once again, gomen! ------------------------------------ All Michael could see were the moving lips of the teacher, some words he made out but overall there was nothing coming out of her mouth, since his iPOD earphones were blasting music into his ears, giving him surrender to the melody of the songs. He wasn?t particularly happy about the assignment given to him and the other students but had no choice because a girl in his class found her way to him and a boy he came to know as Quincy. Watching the girl and Quincy, Michael found that this was not his scene. He chuckled to himself as he could see from the corner of his eyes what the girl was doing. She kept gawking at him as if he were this famous actor sitting in a classroom but all the while trying to hide it inside her that she was. He didn?t mind that she was gawking at him but he knew that his sister wouldn?t like her too much since the girl, Kiala, reminded his sister too much of the girls back in Brooklyn, and his sister was known to start a fight with girls she didn?t like, even if she was younger. He then found it quite amusing when he began to imagine his sister walking up to Kiala and making a scene, as she always did but then realized that Kiala was a kind girl for Michelle to mess with. After Kiala introduced herself, Michael accidentally poked Quincy in the side and realized he had made a mistake but merely sat there with a semi-goofy smile, letting him know that it was his turn but when Quincy did introduce himself, Michael merely found him a bit more amusing than before. Quincy?s introduction was short and after looking at the clock, Michael decided to just say his name and what he did. He then stood up and walked away from the group after sitting there for a few moments and saw Sammy walking away with two girls, he presumed they were in Sammy?s group. Shrugging, Michael began to walk down the hallway away from his classroom and saw a group of students around a particular part of a wall and when they disappeared to their intended places, he walked towards it, wondering what could have herded a group of students. His question was answered when he glanced over the piece of paper that was hung up by someone. It stated something about a dance and cheese flavored fish snacks, which he then remedied as ?Goldfish? but the thought disappeared just as quickly as it had appeared in his mind and was replaced by the thought of asking someone, someone whom he had liked since arriving to Timber Valley: Brandi Morgan. I could ask her but would she go with me? Probably not. I mean, she?s probably not into guys like me, right? Yeah, she?s definitely not going to go with me. Michael inhaled deeply and exhaled quietly but then he remember what his sister always said. That?s right, I can?t knock it if I haven?t tried it. So, maybe I will ask her... that is if she?s not going with anyone else. No, don?t think like that, I?ve got to remember that I can?t knock it until I?ve tried it. Wait, that quote makes Brandi sound like a piece of meat. After thinking for a few minutes, Michael turned his mind to food. Meat. Mmmm, meat. I?m hungry. I should find Sammy and D. Michael then set off to find food since his mind was either on music, family/ friends, or food. It was strange though, in his mind he was this happy-go-lucky person but outside, he was a bad-ass punk rocker who was a bit dark with only a couple of friends. It took Michael a couple of minutes before seeing that Sammy was in the courtyard with another boy who didn?t look like Dameon. He made his way to the table and then realized it was Quincy but shrugged it off and saw his two friends, one of whom acknowledged that he was coming towards the table.
Kre
"We- well,um..." he started to stumble embaressed.. he was as bright red as blood. "Would.. umm..." he continued. She looked at him confused but relived. She started to smile because he was blushing. "Will you.. go- t-to the dance......" he continued but lost it. "with me?" He fininshed. She looked kind of surprised. But in a good way. He waited for it, he waited for her response. Nearly died he was so red his whole face red. He could tell she was thinking. SlowChemical
Hitomi scratched her head "Well...yeah why not? Is just a dance. Yet err...this probaly the first one I ever gone to. I not really asked to dances...or turn down the boy most of the time." Hitomi shrugged "But hey why not, is not in engagement if you go with a person so..." Suzu smiled at her. Hitomi was bewildered by his smile. He looked at her with such a innocence in him. He was truely adorable in a sense. She thought for a moment and slammed her fist against her head. This was a dance meaning they had to get all formal. The only problem was that Hitomi had no dress. She didn't wear dresses and she didn't go to dances at all. She thought it was a waste of energy, time, money and dancing space. "Uhh...are we obligated to were a suit and dress?" Hitomi asked Suzu. "Err well I'm not exactly sure.." "Well...hopefully not 'cuase i know my mom and if she finds out about this dance she going to go crazy with it. This means wearing pretty pink for me..." Hitomi covered her face with her hand. She hated pink and she was not going to wear that hideous color. Her mother always goes on a shopping spree everytime there was a dance in her old school. Always telling her to try this on or try that on. Each dress more pink and hideous then the last. Hitomi which she learned never to tell her mother about dances. Hitomi herself well go to catastrophic melt down if her mother ever knew.

Who Am I?
[OOC: Okay.. I came late too. I hope I'm on the right track here.] A girl waved to Nick in a cheerful way and he tried to be polite and wave back. He looked around and found a poster on the wall. A dance? He shrugged. "What's with the damn shrugging?" He looked up and realized the girl who waved at him was asking. "Uhh.. it's nothing. Who are you?" He asked trying not to be rude. "I'm Leah. You're new, huh?" He nodded. The bell rang and Leah metioned it was brunch. She insisted him to sit with her friends and he nodded since there was no one else he knew. He excused himself to go to the bathroom and told Leah that he'll meet up with her later. ======== He walked in the cafeteria and found Leah sitting with two girls. They introduced themselves as B and Brandi. Brandi seemed nervous but he didn't pay much attention to that. He got to know Leah and her friends a bit more and he relaxed. It was tough being the new student here. [OOC: Sinistra and Citrus, I hope this is alright with you guys.]
renayiiq
"'Ello, 'ello," said Boo as she approached the table where Brandi, Leah, B, and Nick were sitting. She didn't wait for a welcome and sat down. "Hi," said Nick, "my name is Nick." "I'm Boudicca, but you can call me Boo. I assume you've heard about the dance? Everyone else seems to have." "Yes, I just saw the poster a few minutes ago. Are you going?" "I don't know yet," replied Boo. "I've no one to go with, so I just may not go. Of course, I've been itching to wear the dress that I've recently made. I might go just to have somewhere to wear it to." "Ah, ok," said Nick. The five of them sat there and talked about school and asked Nick about where he was from and what type of stuff he liked, etc. Boo began fiddling with her bridge piercing, and Nick gave her a strange look. "Did that hurt ?" he asked. "Oh yes, very much. It is the most painful thing that I've ever experienced," she said. "Then why did you get it?" asked Leah. "Because I didn't think that it would hurt that much, and I thought that it would look better than a bull ring." "Oh, okay, that's cool," said Leah. Annie
Quincy sat between Sammy and Dameon, growling lightly in annoyance. Smiling, Sammy gave him a nudge and nodded at the dance poster. "Are you going?" Sammy poked curiously at the rubbish the lunch lady plopped on his tray. "I hadn't really thought on the subject. There's no one in particular I'd like to even think of asking," Quincy brushed at his lap, as if there were crumbs on him. "Tell me about it," Dameon huffed, deciding to stomach his spoonful of slop. "How about you, Samuel?" Quincy had a way of making Sammy feel out of place. Whether it was the way he spoke or how he pronounced his name, in fact, how he said his full name, Sammy couldn't figure it out. Nonetheless, he really did like Quincy; he could be a jerk or he coiuld be the nicest friend, if you were on his good side--and that, in itself, was a tough mission to accomplish. "I would like to ask Bianca," Sammy started, looking over in her direction, "But I have a strange feeling she's got someone else in mind." Both Dameon and Quincy joined Sammy's stare for a split second before looking back at him. Lost in thought, Sammy's fork snapped from the maximum weight of the cheap plastic and dumped right onto his lap. Dameon attempted to cover his laughter with another spoonful of food, while Quincy sighed and cleaned his glasses. Irritated more than embarassed, Sammy threw the other half of his fork on his tray and began to wipe himself. "Well, after you get a fresh pair of pants, I think you should ask Bianca anyway. What's the worse that could happen, her say 'no'?" Dameon gagged on the aftertaste of whatever was on that spoon. "Yeah, that's the thing, though. If I ask her, and she says 'no', she'll know for sure that I'm crazy about her," Sammy groaned, giving up on trying to wipe completely clean. "Not necessarily. If she does turn you down--I mean, says 'no, just play it off as if it didn't bother you if she had said 'yes'," Quincy slid his glasses back onto his nose. "I don't think I'll be able to hold it back, man. She looks straight into your eyes when she talks to you, or you talk to her. She can read me like an open book," Sammy ruffled his hair and paused, "God, do I ever hate that. She's the only person that can do that to me. If I break her gaze, she'll know." "Well, Samuel, all I can tell you is if you really like her, you're either going to ask her or going to let her go with some other guy," Quincy rose from his seat, "Because either way, she'll be happy." "Gee, thanks Quince," Sammy muttered leaving the table, "Give me a ring lat--oh, I almost forgot!" He stopped and jumped ontop of his table, rattling whatever trays were left. "Everyone, listen up! Class meeting after the last bell in the courtyard. Be there, or be square," Sammy hopped down and continued towards the door. "Sammy, you were saying?" Dameon called out, tossing his tray carelessly into the garbage. "Oh, you guys give me a ring if you are going to the dance. Maybe we all could go together," Sammy joked, throwing the two a playful wink and shoving the doors open.
Retribution
Alex looked up from the lunch table when Sammy hopped onto it. Trays clattered as he impacted with the surface. It was annoying at worst, and the message mysterious. "Class meeting after the last bell in the courtyard. Be there, or be square." Such an announcement perked his curiousity, but not enough to stop the internal nervousness racking his mind. Am I going to the dance? Who would I take? Sakura? What if she says... no? "This sucks." "Heh. You're telling me, man," Jason chimed in. A few others shot their eyes towards him, but left an instant later from loss of interest. "I don't know who I'm taking to the dance, either, if that's what you mean." There was a silent acknowledgement, followed by a return to both their meals. After lunch, he strode out of the doors with his messenger bag slung on his shoulder and Brave New World, the book he was currently reading, in his left hand. He sat underneath a tree, waiting partially for Sakura, partially for the next bell to ring, signaling a return to class. He flipped open his book, read a few pages before the bell rang. He stood, closing the book, and saw Sakura walk out, chatting with Hitomi. Alex idly walked towards the two, finally coming within earshot of them. "Hey. What's up?" He addressed Sakura, but Hitomi seemed to chime in before Sakura could. "Oh - hey Alex." His heart slammed at his rib-cage, but he showed no signs of fear - his voice was steady and soft, his hands weren't clammy, and his eyes rested on Sakura's.
Sinistra
OOC: I'm doing a favor for Citrus. Some of our members have decided to drop out due to the fast pace of this RPG. There are some of you who should take a look at the new Rules posted in the Underground Thread. They are in effect, so I suggest that you click here and catch up. ------------------ Brandi sat at the table, trying to mind her own business. It was really hard due to the fact that Nick was right there. I mean, what would happen if he tried to make a move? And what about Michael? Brandi was trying to decide right in that moment who she liked more. 'Is it Michael? Or is it Nick? And what if either of them don't like me? Then what do I do?' A million questions ran through her head, and there was only a little while before class was going to begin once more. 'I better make a decision quick. At least then, I'll be certain.' BBRRIINNGGG!!! The warning bell sounded and the others began to finish up their conversations. 'Michael.' Brandi picked up her books the others followed suit. "So, have you decided?" Leah asked, joking. "Yes. Yes I have." Brandi tried to sound confident. "Oh, have we?" She chuckled and Bianca winked. "And who is the lucky man that has the priviledge of your feelings?" "M..." "Speak up girl!" Leah yelled. "Michael..." "You mean Dean-Arquette, the one in the same?" Bianca asked, a little surprised. "Yes." Brandi nodded shyly. "Well Brandi, I didn't see you falling for the bad boy." She smirked. "Why is that? Is it the differences? You want a change?" "I...don't know." Brandi shrugged. "But am I really this easy to pick on?" "Sort of." The two chimed together. The girls all walked to their next classes, hoping to meet up later after school to out for a little while. Brandi personally wanted to make a stop by Café Lite for a StrawberryBanana Smoothie. She was getting thirsty just thinking about it. 'So then, I guess that I like Michael. I wonder if he even knows my name.' She pondered. 'I guess I'll never know unless I try to find out. Maybe I could get Leah to ask him.' "Well Brandi, I didn't see you falling for the bad boy." She smirked. "Why is that? Is it the differences? You want a change?" 'I don't know why I like Michael. He's just different from the other boys. He's rather cute. I don't understand why he's not with a girl, I mean, with his good looks, it shouldn't be hard for him. More importantly, maybe Bianca was right. Maybe I do want a change in my life. I know that wouldn't be so bad.' "C'mon Brandi! You're gonna be late." Leah yelled.
Kitty
As Brandi went another way for the next class, Leah and Bianca continued together, and Leah planned to use the time for some 'fun'. "Well, then I'm sure you've already picked someone you'd like to go with," Leah chuckled casually, grinning at Bianca, who returned the girl's grin with a glare. Leah perked up a little more, always amused when B became defensive. It meant plenty of blackmail material, if anything else. "Oh? And what if I have?" she replied carefully, eyeing her friend. Leah's grin was beginning to spread, giving her a devilish look that Bianca did not welcome. "C'mon B. You can tell me anything," she winked, though the statement (and the wink) were less than reassuring. Bianca didn't really want to tell Leah, as she knew she would 'accidentally' repeat the name a bit too loud, allowing news to travel through the gossiping girls they were passing at the moment. "I thought I might want to go with..." "Oh spit it out already!" "Fine! Quincy, alright!" Bianca shouted. The girls passing them at the moment turned to stare at the two girls for a moment before whispering as they continued. Bianca's mouth was hanging open at the sheer stupidity and misfortune of that particular action, and at how bad her luck was. "Well shit," she mumbled. Leah, however, was having a hard time walking she was laughing so hard. Wiping several tears away, she managed to spit out an apology, but Bianca was too pissed off at herself at yelling her answer to even care about Leah's laughing. The two reached their next class (English) and set their stuff inside. However, the class bell wasn't going to ring for another five minutes, so they thought they'd wait outside the classroom and talk some more. "So what if he says no, huh? What am I going to do? Plus, by now, he's probably heard I want to go with him, so he'll be practicing how to turn me down gently," Bianca rambled on in an unusually nervous fashion. "Then you can go with Sammy," Leah suggested, though Bianca had a difficult time determining whether she had said it as a genuine suggestion or just to bug her. "For a date or as friends?" Bianca replied, raising an eyebrow. "Which would you prefer? Or rather... Which would--" "Hey ladies," came the familiar voice of their good friend. The two girls had almost forgotten that they had practically every class together. "Well speak of the devil," Leah chuckled in whisper, but Bianca swiftly jabbed her in the ribs. A clear signal she wanted her to shut up. "Ow!" she cried quietly in protest. "What's this? A secret from me? You know, I'm bound to find out eventually. Even if it is 'girl talk', I'd like to be kept in the loop, y'know?" Sammy teased, grabbing them both into two simultaneous headlocks, though he was a bit gentler with them. "Pssh. Good luck," Bianca replied, blowing her bangs out of her face before sticking her tongue out at him. And with that, the class bell rang, and the three quickly ran into their seats before the teacher noticed.
Onix
Dameon tutted as Sammy let the two girls out of his headlock, flicking his hair back with a smooth motion. "Now, Sammy, you should be nice to the ladies," he drawled, grinning to show he wasn't too terribly serious. "That way, they'll be nice to you." His friend snorted in return. "And I suppose I should be nice to the boys, too?" Dameon just smirked and looked over at Quincy, leering a little. "Oh, no. With them, you can be very rough." He rolled the 'r,' giving his words a suggestive purr. "Isn't that right, dear Quincy?" Quincy merely glared. "Keep your fantasies to yourself." "But it's so much more fun when people play along," he said, pouting. "Don't you want to play, Quincy? Or are your books more fun than I am?" "Much more so," was Quincy's sharp reply. "And they don't try and hit on me." "Ooh, no need to be so frosty." "Come on, we better get in class before the teacher gets snarly," Quincy sighed. D sighed and pouted again, but followed Sammy as he started walking towards the classroom, running a hand through his hair. He smiled at a group of younger girls hurrying in the opposite direction, enjoying the flushing and giggling. He wondered how many requests he'd get to the dance this time around. He thought back and figured that the previous record was, what, 20? Yes, that sounded about right. Maybe he could best himself this time around. Apparently, they were a little bit too late, as the teacher turned on them and glared. He saw that Sammy had already ducked inside with Bianca and Leah. Dameon merely smiled pleasantly as the teacher started reading him the riot act. "And where were you, Mr. Gray?" "Oh, just flirting, cavorting, and carrying on," he said, looking down to inspect his nails. Needed to look good, of course. "Why, is that a problem?" The "High Inquisitor" flushed angrily. "Take your seat, Dameon. You'll be staying there after class." "Aw, but teach..." he started, putting on his best pout. "That won't work on me, bub. Seat!" Dameon's expression flickered briefly, eyes growing slightly stormy before he pushed it aside. Anger made wrinkles, and wasn't terribly attractive. Instead, he sulked as he walked over to his desk, throwing himself into it angrily. Rebuke him, would she? Dameon Gray did not like being turned aside.
Annie
"Man, I hope no one saw this stain," Sammy grumbled, picking at the hardening solid from around his zipper. "Too bad it's an orangish colour. I don't think the ladies would be convinced it were a pleasant stain," Dameon's words slipped sweetly into Sammy's earshot, in to which, D received a curt snicker. "Right, anyhow, my class is down this way. I'll catch you later, yeah?" Sammy gave a thumbs up and skipped off to the left hall. A few staggering steps of trying to rid the nuisance of a stain and dodge high school traffic, Sammy started towards the locker rooms. He remembered putting a pair of pants in his locker for a "just in case" situation. He'd have to step on it though if he planned on making class on time. Just as he was about to break into a sprint, a red-head with bouncing curls was heading in his direction. Before she ran smack into him, Sammy jumped to the side and continued on his way until--- "Did you hear that girl? Absolutely bonkers, I tells you," a girl Sammy recognized as the school's heart of gossip, Gabby, ran past him to a group of her friends. Sammy, out of sheer curiousity and being the nosey bugger he can be, stopped and leant against a locker. His back turned to the girls, he pretended he was trying to get into the locker. The girls laughed and giggled, then a rush of several conversations all at once. "Sheesh, how do they know what each other says..." Sammy sighed, his head whirling with their laughter. "Okay, okay! If you shaddup I'll tell you. So, you know that American blonde, Bianca I think," Sammy's ears perked a bit more, "Well, she just blurted out who she's wants to go to the dance with. Can you believe that? What a silly girl." "Well, who did she say, Gabby?" one of the girls nearly jumped in anticipation. The overjoy of someone's misfortune was starting to sicken Sammy. However, it was like a train wreck; you couldn't take your eyes (or ears) away from it. Shoving his hand into one pocket, Sammy, unadmittedly as eager as the giddy girls, listened in for the closure. "I don't know what she sees in this guy, he's a complete butthole," Gabby flipped a curl of her red hair, "but she's looking to ask Quincy to the dance. Isn't that absurd?" "Are you jealous?" "Of course not! Why should I be jealous of that Barbie?" Gabby spat, and apologized to her blonde friend, "I plan on asking Quincy myself. We'll see who gets jealous after that." Even though it broke Sammy's heart to hear that his best friend/crush had it for Quincy, rather than himself, he decided to turn around. "What are we--little seven year old girls fighting over our favorite doll? You're all pathetic. Gossiping about someone more fortunate in looks than you won't help your problems," Sammy approached Gabby and glared down at the group, "Bianca happens to be my best friend, and I won't stand to hear this. If I weren't such a nice guy to the ladies, I'd have it in my mind to go straight to both her and Quincy and discuss with them about their thoughts on this matter. Believe me, when it involves himself, Quincy is not as forgiving as I am." With that, Sammy shoved his way through the group and stormed into the English hallway. This was entirely new for Sammy. He adored, maybe a bit more than he should, Bianca. And Quincy happened to be the one guy he really respected on a superior level. He hated when his friends were trashed on, but he hated the idea that Quincy had Bianca's favor. His mind ran in several directions; should I tell Quincy? should I tell Bianca? I don't want her to go to the dance with him...but I want her to be happy. Quincy's a nice gentleman, I would trust him over anyone with her safety... Mixed feelings coursed through his body so quickly, he forgot he planned on going to the locker room to get a spare pair of jeans and walked up to the English door. A few students walked past him and entered the classroom. As the door continuously opened and shut, Sammy caught a glimpse of Bianca talking with Leah. Both were smiling, B's face was bright red with obvious embarassment and anger, but she was laughing with Leah. He stared at the door for a minute, which to him seemed to drag out into hours. What should I do? I want to take her to the dance. But I want her to be happy with whatever she wants to do. I have to say something about that Gabby. If I tell her, she'll get even more upset. Nah, I'll talk to Quincy about that.. Sammy began to pace outside the door. "Sammy!" a voice rang out before he could react. Just as he turned to see who called his name, door swung open to slam him into the lockers. Jumping up and down to get the pain out of his body, Sammy looked for his victim. Someone was going to pay for that. Luckily, no one saw his meeting with the door. Turns out, there was a girl named Sammantha [Sammy for short] and one of her friends called to her. Throwing his hands in the air and dropping them to his sides, Sammy took a deep breath and decided he would be the "happy go lucky friendly guy" for now. With a new found respect for doors, Sammy grabbed onto the handle and flung the door open. "Hey ladies," he marched up to the two and purposefully interrupted. "Speak of the devil," Leah giggled as Sammy wrapped one arm around her neck, which was soon followed by Bianca jabbing her elbow into Leah's side. "What's this? A secret from me? You know, I'm bound to find out eventually. Even if it is 'girl talk', I'd like to be kept in the loop, y'know?" Sammy wrapped his other arm around Bianca. "Psh, good luck," she teased, sticking her tongue out at him. "Aw, come on. What could be so terribly secretive?" Sammy then let the girls go and sat down in the desk next to Leah. He knew very well what was being talked about, but he thought best to leave the subject under the desk for now. He turned around to face the front of the room and rubbed his hands over his face. Leah turned around as well, throwing a piece of an eraser at him. The rubber pegged him in the face, and a small choir of giggles erupted from the two girls. "Ha ha, very funny, Leah," Sammy smirked, tossing it back at her. "Mr. Carter, your undivided attention today would be wonderful," an older man in the front of the room cleared his throat. "Yes'sir," Sammy coughed and adjusted back into his seat. Almost automatically, his thoughts went back to trying to sum up what had happened minutes ago in the hall. Soon, the noise of the room began to drift into one hum. The electrical fan on the teacher's desk, his raspy voice and incoherent ramblings, whispers and student's desks adjusting, everything blurred. All he could hear was his heart beating slow and steadily, and his nerves fizzing with jealousy, anger, and a creeping emotion of heart ache. Will this class ever end.. Sammy glanced at the clock above the blackboard; not even close to being over.
SlowChemical
Hitomi sat back from her seat ignoring the teacher?s words. It was pointless to listen anyways the lesson was soon to be erased from her memory anyways. The teachers always gave her a hard time because she would slack off sometimes. Some would say that she had so much potential in her. Yet teachers only say that for code for ?You?re a failure so don?t make me look bad?. Well Hitomi would and could do her best yet she had to much stress over her. Tim, her mother, her evil sisters and now the dance she all had to deal with. Homework has become a struggle. The lessons have been forgetting so easily. Taking notes was useless for trying to help her because her hand writing looks like chicken scratch. Hitomi looked outside the window daydreaming. She was thinking how her first dance would be like. The lights, the music, the balloons, and the boys looking nervous and silly in suits will fill the night. Her fantasy went forward with dancing, drinking punch, and actually having a good time. Then her fantasy turned into a nightmare when she thought about how her dress will look like. Pink, ribbons, laces, puffy shoulders pads and skirt will probably be her dress. She would kill herself if that even happened! That was it she was making her own dress. Nothing too extraordinary, yet it was still mysteries, dark and elegant. She took out a sketch pad and started to doodle. She bit on her pencil in thought. The teacher saw her drawing something in the back. His frustration of this can be seen by the vein surfacing from his temple. He grabbed a chalk and through it against the back wall. Hitomi was startled and jumped up from her seat. ?Now that I got your attention with Heartnet..? The teacher said ?Is Shiozu...Heartnet is my stepfather?s last name. If you haven?t noticed teacher this is the reason why I put it in the middle of my name with quotation marks. To tell the truth a truly don?t want that name, unless you don?t know how quotaion marks look?? Hitomi sassed. Gasp can be heard around the classroom followed by whispers. ?Well I guess we got a smart mouth here! Lets see how smart? Can you answer the question Miss Shiozu?? ?It is may you answer the question and no Sir I don?t now what is the question? ?And why is that Miss Shiozu?? ?Easy I was dosing off in your class of course. You?re a teacher why should I tell you? You got the answer for everything..? ?No back talking from you! GO STRAIGHT TO THE OFFICE!? ?Glad to do that sir!? Hitomi got her bookbag and swing it over her shoulder ?Now I will take my leave..? She saluted to the teacher and walked out the classroom. 2010DigitalBoy
OoC: dude, she kicks ass! And Im so sorry I got the name wrong >_< I feel dumb Kiala entroduced Jason the her friends and told them that she was going with him to the dance. Jason seemed to be in a complete daze as the girls ramblem on in some language only undeerstandabke by them. When the bell rang Kiala walked alongside him leaving the cafeteria. "So, tell me about yourself! I feel like I hardly know you." "Well... we did just meet..." "Yeah, how strange. 'Have we ever had any of the same classes?" "Well, not until this year. We are in the same gym class third period as well." "Really? I never noticed you. I'm so sorry. I'll make it up to you though!" she said enthusiastically. Jason seemed a bit confused at why this girl was so into him out of nowhere. What a strange, happy girl. "This is my class. See ya later!" She said smiling and waving. Jason waved a little before heading off into the sea of people. Kiala made her way into her Math class, her smile as big as ever. She took her seat and suddenly underwent a complete transformation of personality. Her happy face suddenly became strictly serious and within mere seconds her homework was on the desk, she had completed the bellringer assignment and turned it in and was ready for more. Her mind was entirely clear except for thoughts on her assignment.
Starwind
Jason walked off for his next period, he went from wanting to leave to just wanting to stay just to stay with this new girl. Man was this akward. He had a hard time gaining his composure again after leaving her again. He reached the end of the hall to his second period, chemistry. If nothing else it was an excuse to blow crap up, so it was fun. He walked in and sat at his desk in the back of the room and took on his cold, indifferent exterior. The teacher walked in with a stumble, she seemed disoriented to say the least. He name was Ms. Porter, and she was a bitch to deal with usually, but today she seemed like she had dipped a little to much into the bottle. He watched her with great entertainment as she seemed to have a hard time keeping a balanced emotional track. Finally she regained her composure and wrote the days assignment on the board. Same shit in a different wrapper, that's all it ever seemed like anymore. But just like anything else today, this was different. She sent them off to learn up on stuff way more advanced then simple stoichiometry. She had them look up atomic break down composure. Was that even in a high school Chem book? If it is, isn't kind of reckless to teach us how to breakdown nuclear atoms? That's how you make bombs for god sake! Something's seriously wrong here. Suddenly the teacher broke out in a laugh "Kidding. Don't do that." She was seriously bi-polar or something. Jason decided instead of insiting trouble he should just take a nap and wait til the end of the period. So he set his head down on his desk and all he could think about was that girl, Kiala. She was the only thing on his mind before he finally fell asleep.
