My question is- who is your best friend and how did you meet them?

I, myself, I guess my closest friend right now is my older brother and I met him in the backseat of my grandfather's car on November 15, 1974.

I had a best friend for 13 years but we aren't friends anymore..too much bad blood between us. We don't even speak any more.

So tell me who's your best friend?

My best friend is a girl named Meg, she goes to school with me. I've none her for sooo long. I think it's been since the 4th grade. Sure we've had are problems but now a days all we do is talk about them, and their over. Which is a really good thing. I meet her in class. The teacher kept almost all the same kids but two, and one was me. And she was nice enough to come up to me, and introduce herself. And after that, you couldn't get us appart. We don't hang out to much now a days (she has a boyfriend), but were on the same bus so that makes up for it, I guess.

I have no choice but to pick my lil bro. I've lived in 14 different houses throughout my life (well the first 6 were in 3 years, but whatever) and the only person whos shadowed me the whole time is my lil bro whos a year and a half younger than me. Anything I like he likes and hes always by my side. He and my youngest bro look up to me and outside of the three of us, neither of them has a life, so Im all they've got.

I'll admit thatI didn't have any real friends until seventh grade. :animeswea I had so many rumors about me that I was used more for statues then anything. My best friend is this girl named Cami and my other friends are her sisters, these two other sisters, and my sister, not a wide circle. I met Cami in sixth grade and I hated her guts until about the time she left school to become homeschooled.

My best friend....hm. Well, I haven't spoken with either of them for a while now because of distance, the two of them having boyfriends, and the fact that we're all swamped with school work.

Yes, I have two. Is that a problem?

The one is a girl named Brittany. We met in the third grade, and she was my first best friend. Around that time I had just transferred to that school from elsewhere, and I wasn't sure how long I'd be there. Wnen I was a kid I went to a lot of different schools--three in my first grade year. I really forget how we met, but I think it was at recess and a classmate of mine introduced me to her. We hit it off immediately, and her influence hasn't quite left me.

The other one is named Kat. she's a year younger than me, and we used to live in the same neighborhood. I remember the time I met her very well, because she chased away the neighborhood bullies for me. When she was a kid she was always the type who wasn't afraid to beat up the boys. She's a tough cookie, and has since taken up Hapkido (A Korean style of Martial Arts) and has advanced quite a bit within the past couple of years.

Gee, I miss these two now. I think I'll e-mail them.

I have 4 best friends.
My two best chick friends are:
Mari, who likes to be called Alicia, which is her middle name. I've always kinda known her from afar since about fifth grade, and then we started becoming really good friends when we both got the same French II and English II classes last school year. We've had some troubles, but we've worked everything out.
Lashawn, whom I haven't heard from in a few months because her phone got turned off, and I'm not supposed to hang out with her. We got in trouble together with this girl named Katie. I hate Katie, because when Lahsawn, Mari, and me were all friends, Katie came in and screwed everything up. Right now I'm talking to Lashawn's boyfriend because she moved to an alternative school (for "bad kids"), and he goes to my school to I tell him to tell her that I say 'hi' and stuff. We actuall met when I was homeschooled for a year and a half, and we got off to a bad start. One day, Mari and I were ditching, and she was going across the bridge that we had to cross, and we caught up with her, and we all just became friends.

My two best guy friends:
Justin, also known as Roach, who I've known for two years now. We met at school, and became very good friends after we'd had a conversation about songs that are great to have sex while listening to it. He's awesome.
Jeremy, aka Jimmy, the Chesire cat, and Jerm, is a good friend of mine. I've only met him in person once, via Roach, and we've been talking online for about a year. We dated for about 2 weeks as an online/on the phone long distance relationship. We've become great friends, and I love him. He's a great person, but he degrades himself like crazy.

I have yet to meet my "best friend" in life. I have many friends that I talk to at school on a regular basis, but none ever make the effort to invite me to do anything, but on the other hand, neither do I so there is faults on I aswell.

I have no doubt that I will one day find my "best friend". Perhaps in college, maybe. Who knows?

My best friend and I met while people were shooting fire crakers and they almost took her eye out, I was playing b-ball at the time and accidentally thankfully the ball went her direction and avoided her eye, we've been friends for 7 years now her name is Adriana, we haven't talk in a while now because we are in different countries but I'm hoping to see her again soon. I mostly have acquaintances since all my friends in Fl betrayed me.

I have 2 really close best friends. Atleast, 2 really really long term best friends.

My first best friend is Roy. I met him first best friend in grade 1, and we became tight in grade 2 and have been friends ever since. So I guess for about 8 years now? So quite awhile. We've had alot of issues lately, but tonight he phoned me just to say he missed me, so I guess we're back on track =)

My other best friend is Tammy. I met her in grade 5, so not as long as Roy, but still a long time. We've made it through alot. From boy problems to moving, in the end we're always going to be friends. She moved to a different province in grade 8, and I only get to see her about 3 or 4 times a year. But we try to stay close and when she comes it seems like she's never been gone.

So yeah.. those are my oldest best friends :animesmil

I still remember my best friend and I even remember the story on how exactly he became my best friend, and what a wonderful story it is.

So I think I must have been in around, second grade when it all happened. My soon to be friend was constantly being picked on by some older kid. However mem being the ever so troublesome and yet helpful little kid I was got into a fight with that one mean kid. And That also was my first time being sent home from schoo. Its a good thing that I didnt get into any trouble for it though.

The next day he wanted to thank me by going to go and play with him. ( Remember I must have been like... 6 or 7 I cant really remember) So I went to his house and eventually his mom became good friends with mine since we bot had divorced parents. Still to this day we are still friends. Not once have we not gone through hard times together, or not seen the happiest times together.

I've only really had one best friend. Curse my inability to communicate with people I don't know =/

My best friend, coincidentally, lives a few acres away. We live in a sort of lower-middle-class neighborhood across the street from a trailer park, lol. I met him almost seven years ago, when we first moved to Georgia, USA. We didn't go to the same public school or anything, but we met through a common friend.

Before I tell you the rest of the story, you must realize that we were both (and still are) a little strange. I never had ANY friends, he didn't have many either.

At first, he was really mean to me. I didn't like him at all. We were eight. After hanging out with him for a few hours (Pure torture. But our 'common friend' and my little brother both liked him... So I kept my mouth shut.), I got a bit fed-up with him. I left the situation.

Eventually, he found me in the backyard or wherever (I can't really remember) and I was talking to my... Erm... Imaginary friends. Not just any imaginary friends, though, they were Poke'mon. Yup. I used to have battles with them in my head. Turns out, he did basically the same thing.

That very same day, we had a battle out loud. Noone won, it was just kinda nice to know I could talk to a real person instead of air for once.

For the next few years, we got really good at playing the Poke'mon card game and game-boy game, and we built huge structures in our sandbox (We have pictures, they're amazing!). We played with Poke'mon toys in those structures. We had literally hundreds and hundreds of those little plastic toys. They filled up nearly FOUR grocery bags! (One for me, one for my friend, one for my brother, adn one for the really big ones that didn't fit in the first three bags ;))

Looking back, I realize how Poke'mon obsessed we were. I never knew how bad it was at the time...

My best friend is Becky. I haven't spoken to her in a while though becuase her new boyfriend is taking up all of her time  So she won't call me or our other friends. Anyway:

We met in high school and had Gym Class together, lunch together and rode the afternoon bus home together.

We used to do a lot of things together, ice skating, shopping. Going to movies. Stuff like that. I need to find her cell phone number I guess.

We also both have children, they're both girls and seven months apart (her's is older than mine) They're names even begin with the same initial 'A'licia and 'A'bby.

The funniest part of our friendship is how our lives are nearly parallel. I start dating, she starts dating. She gets pregnant, I get pregnant. Her daughter's father leaves her because he'd rather be a drug addict than a father. My ex husband cheats on me. She gets a new guy... eh who knows.

My best friend's name is Gabe. I can say with relative certainty that he is my best friend, partially because we've been friends for literally as long as I remember. More than half my life, in fact. Also, there's the weird fact that we've never gone to the same school. We were going to in middle school (he even open enrolled to get in the same one), but then my parents decided it was a good time for us to move out to Johnston.

Luckily, I've still kept in touch. And, until I get my license, I can con my parents into driving me 1/2 an hour out there.

Interesting, most interesting.

How did I meet my best friend ? Well it?s weird in the fact that I met my best friend way before he even became my friend, though I had forgotten I knew him when he became my friend, sounds complicated yes, but is relatively simple. Basically I met Brian back when I was about eight or nine years old, his mother and father ran a tea shop on the way to a city called Kilkenny. Now when my family would go to the Kilkenny market, we?d go to the tea shop on the way home for a snack, Brian was about my age and we used play soccer together while my parents ate.

Fast forward to when I start my first day of secondary school, and the first two people I meet are Brian and a guy called Peter who also is a good friend of mine. Now at this stage I had forgotten who Brian was, as he had me and over the course of the next two years he became probably my best friend because he was one of the few people who shared many of my interests, had similar intellects and he was just a downright nice fellow. We went through secondary school together and he?s one of the few non-relatives who still keeps in contact with me, which really does signify what a good friend he is.

I have two friends I'd consider best...

The first is Aaron who I met in Year 6. We were both new to the school, and kinda rocking out doing the loner thing, so I went to talk to him. He was, if I recall, putting knots in blades of grass. I was boasting about backflips on the trampoline. Oddly, we hit it off.

He is a very stark contrast to me - I've a very solid build and dark colouring, and prefer being inside and procrastinating. He's thin and twiggy, loves sports and applies himself to his studies (weird, I know). Despite this he's really loyal and has always been there for me. 5, no 6 years now of friendship. W00t.

Second would be Toby. I'd known him for a while (IRL), but we only really started talking in IM. Our first conversation ended with him calling me a wanker. Not much has changed. lol He's got the same twisted, ****** up sense of humour as me, and about the same disposition. He's the only person I've ever met IRL who really gets where I'm coming from. Toby rocks. lol

You know her, Stark. We met just over a year ago, when a mutual friend introduced us. We first met over a discussion of the video game "Star Ocean: Til the End of Time" She made the comment that another swordsman lead character was cliche', and I made the comment it's the way of the japanese, swordsman are a noble honorable group and it kind of went that way. Our relationship kind of spawned from that initial conversation. After that we lost contact for a while, til one day I saw her again in the local Books-A-Million. She ran up to me "Hey, I know you." and it all kind of went from there. We've been close friends ever since.

It's tricky for me to say. I've moved through many different best friends, and I've never really had one at any time.

Back in year 3, my best friend was called Sam, and I can't exactly remember where we met, but we were almost inseparable. But then he moved to a new house way down in the South, where I visited him once, but never did again after that.

Then came Lee and Tom, who I stayed friends with from year 3 to year 6, and even a little on into year 7, but I sort of drifted apart from them. After them was Alex, who I was best friends with in year 6, but even now I've drifted away from him as well.

When I moved on to secondary school, I became best friends with three guys, Theo, Luke and Max, who I am still friends with now, but I wouldn't consider them my best friends any more. Luke and Max were awesome drummers, and Theo was just a little crazy, which I liked.

But now I have many many best friends, most of whom I met through school play rehearsals last year. Their names are Dan, Ant, Jonny, Sarah, Nicola and Morgana, and they are the best friends I think I will ever have, and definitely the best friends I have ever had.

Sorry for the long winded answer.

Well, at the moment... I'm not sure who my 'best' friend is... I've been going through this hermit stage. *shrugs*

Well, my first best friend, evar.... had to be a girl named Breanne. Her nickname is Peeper, though I don't know why... in fact, she doesn't even remember why anymore. >> But everyone just called her that. Anyway, she lived around the area that my dad and 'ex' step mom lived. We lived on this dead end street, and there were a lot of kids, so everyone was kind of buddies. The only person I really didn't know was her. I hung out with her little sister, who is about two years younger than me. One day she told me to come over to meet her sister, so, I did. Peeper and I talked for awhile, hung out more and more everyday... and, after so long, I was just always at her house. I think she was the first person I ever met that understood all my views and had a great deal in common with me. But, I was around 6, mind you... so, I naturally hadn't met a lot of people. But, we were inseperable for about three or four years, even when I moved across the state. We always were together when I came back to my dad's, though. And then that's when she moved to Misouri. We still talk occasionally, but when you go on in your life, and you can only see that person once a year, it's very hard to keep in touch. Recently, though, I've really been starting to miss her.

Well... when I moved across state when I was around seven or eight, I had to start off new with friends. Even though I still had Peeper back in my old town, I still had to find other people to hang out with. In about third grade, I found Paige. This time... it was a little stranger. You see, we both were 'friends' with this one girl... but she was one of those really possessive people. So... I guess Paige and I became friends trying to plot against that one girl. LOL. Yeah... but, we've been pretty good friends for awhile. But, lately she's been kind of bugging me. So, I don't know.

Mehhh... I also met this girl, Alex, off OtakuBoards... we talked a little bit through PMs... and then we were in an RPG together, and after that we started talking a bunch on messanger and on the phone. So, I've known her for about two years. Ends up she's just like my twin... she just doesn't look like me. .... .... Soul Twin... XD

My best friend is Dan. We've known each other for roughly 16/17 years, since we went to nursery school together ^_^; I went to his fourth birthday party, hehe.

Not all of that time was spent being friends, though- there was a period of six years where we went to different primary schools, then two years where we were in the same high school but weren't friends. After a while (and after joining up with the school Drama Club, which he was part of), we got in contact again and he's just... fantastic, really. We write stuff together and I'd like to think we have a really good, deep understanding of each other.

I miss seeing him. A lot. He only lives a few miles away but he's so busy, and always seems to be doing things with other people. I don't mind much, though. It's not as if I'm all that great at thinking of things to do, afterall ^_^;

Well I have a few friends I consider "best" "close" whatever you call them. But one who is well like a sister I met in kindergarden.I don't remember details just she's been around forever. We've grown up together. She lives a 10 minute walk away. Went to elementary school together. Have shared good times, bad times, sad times, all times together. We think a like, finish eacother's sentances, know what the other is thinking and say it before they do! LOL! I love all my friends. We've always been there for eachother and always will. Long friendships are rare I guess. I'm very lucky to have the friends I have. So we were 5 when we met now we're 21. That's special!

Well, I've had millions upon millions of best friends, but, my one and only true friend will always be Autumn from North Carolina. *hugs Autumn*

Anyways, when I first moved to NC, I didn't really know anyone, so I was very, ver shy. And I mean VERY. XD Well, of course a lot of people came up to me to talk to me, which some of them are my very good friends, but Autumn was the very first one to ever be so nice to me, so we became best buds until I had to leave to England. We became friends in my freshman year of higschool to my junior year when I had to move to England.

I miss her a lot and I wish I didn't have to move, but we always keep in touch and I know she always thinks about me, so, Iknow we shall never forget each other.

Heh..my other good friend, Remy, he always made me laugh and always did the "Captian Jack Sparrow" accent for me because he knew that I loved it. He always used to say, "Tu invites mi fiesta en mi los pantalones." Go figure that one out. XDXD
