[SIZE=1]Well, I thought it was high time I started a new art thread, considering I've been busy with PSP in the last few months. I know the title sucks...I'm sorry. u_u

Most of the stuff in here will be my CGs and because they're such high res. I'll link them from my devART page, so you can see my arts and I get page hits =). (If you have a devART account, I'd love to watch you, by the way.) [/pimp]

[B]Comment-[/B] Well, this is Unborn Lord Xion's War of the Blood character, Kuroichi. It was easy enough for me to come up with a semi-original look for him. He's badass, has a shocking resemblance to Xion (from Bloody Roar) and he has a visible arrogance about him. So I tried to capture it, while keeping with my usual style of unique (hopefully) and interesting clothing.
This was one of the times I CGed a sketch straight off without inking it. I just cleaned up my lines a little.

[B]Comment-[/B] Sumi-chan is my character in WotB and she's gone through quite a change since the last time we done the RP. This is the second design I done of her, since I really wasn't happy with the first. I tried to make her look confident yet passive, hopefully it worked. Simple pose for a character design sheet.

[B]Comment-[/B] This is my most recent pic (only finished today. Yes, I do love these two.) and I think it's one of my best to date, despite it's many and various flaws that I'm too lazy to fix/can't figure out HOW to fix.
The bottom is messy, I know, but that was the way I sketched it...so, yeah.

I think they are really good. They look like real people. What I mean is proportionally they are similar to real life. I wish I could draw like you people. Such artists you all are!! Anyway I think the pics are excellent.

I especially like the last one with the two characters. You can tell the guys really cocky. You knew the right way to show his emotion and the same with the girl.

[SIZE=1]I use PaintShopPro 9 for all my graphics, because I'm too poor for Photoshop. (Woe is me.)

I use the airbrush tool and alternate between using burn/dodge and a lighter or darker version of the flat colour I used for a base on a lower Flow and Opacity (on airbrush). Er...that make sense? I hope so. ^_^;

I really should keep track of how long these things take me, but I believe one character takes approx. 2 hours, depening on whether or not they have massive details/background etc. But I'm a really fast CGer because I cut corners and don't take as much time as I really should.

The last pic took me about 2 and half/3 hours, I think.

I think I've already mentioned how much I FREAKING LOVE the Kuro and Sumi pics, and the Punk'd one is even better. Completely and utterly amazing. Other than that, I don't think I have anything really constructive to say...*shuffles off*

'Twas a spur of the moment thing, but seeing as I adore designing clothes so much I decided to make it a permanent thing for when I dress teen characters in casual/punk style clothing. (And that's a girl in the picture. It was supposed to be a boy, but looked like a girl when I coloured...er, it.)[/SIZE]
