Regardless of what the thread deals with, we require those posting in it to explain their choices. This doesn't have to be long and complicated, although using complete sentences is ideal. The problem is that listing a couple anime titles or character names does almost nothing to encourage a real discussion. Threads structured like that tend to become spammy very quickly. And with that in mind, it really helps when thread creators try to set a good example, in terms of post quality.
