Olivia dug through box after box in search of the single piece she was pretty sure she needed. She pulled somthing out and looked at it closely.

"Hey I've been looking all over for this!" She shrugged her shoulders and tossed it aside. "But I don't need it right now." She dug further into the box. She had been meaning to go on a lableing spree, but she just hadn't got around to it yet.

Trey helped her search, even though she wasn't quite sure what they were looking for, when she looked over and saw the fresh scar on Olivia's face. It was bandaged, but it was pretty deep as far as she could tell.

"When did you get that?" She replied gesturing at Olivia's cheek. Olivia brought her hand up to the cut.

"Well.... um... you see." She started quietly.

"It was HIM wasn't it?" Trey knew all about Olivia's father problem.

"Well you see I can't just--"

"You're a walking victim Liv. You mine as well have a stamp on your for head that says, 'Mug me Please.' " She finished tapping Olivia's forhead.

"How about a kick me sign well I'm at it." Olivia grumbled as she continued digging.

Phade came to the mechanic?s shop and placed her hand on the door. She took a breath and the beads serving her as eyes floated to her hand. She spread her senses over the interior of the room. People were here? Good. Phade pushed the button once more and her skirt again became leggings. ?In this moment, I am only a costumer with out eyes and with a lot of credits. I don?t need anybody freaking over current alignments? Not that I?d ever touch that accursed Aros job again without a large payoff.? She opened the door and paused, unsure of how to proceed.

?Um.. Hello? I need a bit of help here?? Phade felt her way slowly to a solid object. Olivia caught sight of her eyes and winced.

?I can fix that,? she said, pointing to her eye ?see?? Phade laughed.

?No, not really.. However, I assume you have cybernetics for a replacement. I?m looking for something a bit different.? She placed the gunmetal beads on the table. ?I?d like to fashion a way to keep these in my sockets. It?s too hard to do it my self, you see. I can pay well.? Phade stood still waiting for an answer and praying they wouldn?t turn her away.

Olivia thought for a moment, considering the possiblities, then came to an conclusion.

"Trey can your patient 15 more minutes?" She asked.

"15 minutes? Yeah hes not goin anywhere, but this is realy only going to take you that long." Trey replied.

"You sure thats all you need?" Korbin asked from the back.

"Absolutely. Mam, give me 15 minutes and you'lll be good as new." Olivia said giving her the thumbs up, then realized she couldn't see it and felt a little silly. She rolled up her sleeves and took to the task. Her concentration was unbreakable as she delicately devised away for bead like objects to do as they were told. At exactly 15 minutes she held up the product of her scattered thoughts with a wide smile on her face.

"That was a tough one, but I haven't found anything I couldn't fix yet." Olivia stated happily.

"Ahem" Trey was about to speak up but Olivia cut her off.

"You don't count."

Phade smiled and fixed the device to her face, channeling a bit of thought into them. ?Hm. Too blue.? She found a seat amid the clutter and began to screw with the color.

?Ahem.? Phade looked up to Olivia?s raised eyebrow.

?Oops.? She grinned and pulled out a Credit Card, (ooc: HA!) handing it to her. ?Take as much as you need. Them who did this will more then compensate me for the trouble.? Phade mutters something unintelligible, those in the room catching ?Aros? and ?Basterds? as she poked at the new set of eyes. ?Oh, and if you need me to move, let me know.?

Several minutes later, Phade stood.

?There? I?m done. Wait. Do you have a mirror?? Phade picked up a shiny piece of metal and grimaced. ?It?s not like I need to be pretty.? She sighed. Suddenly she stood and started ripping a strip off the end of her cloak. Phade tied it about her eyes. ?There!?

?Doesn?t that defeat the purpose?? Trey asked.

?Only if I where you.? Phade smirked.

Johs Rok Tull sat regally in his massive, leather-backed chair. Joh Ten Garden, Rimmer Dall, and the Medusa stood at attention before him. Long raven hair cascading to her perfect ass, and shining green eyes gave glory to the strikingly beautiful Medusa. Her position as manager, lover, and confidante of Johs Rok Tull gave her a unique power among the women of Aros, especially impressive due to the fact of her 100% humanity.

"Joh Ten Garden, I am not pleased. My desk does not hold Dr. Ross' DataPad. However, you are young, and I was injured. Rimmer Dall, Joh Ten Garden, you are forgiven for failing the mission. The Board was furious, however, they were sympathetic after I talked to them." He paused, swirling his left pointerfinger around the stubble on his chin. "Pour us glasses of Hypnotic (OOC: if you guys havent had some... this is the shit. Ahhh :) ), my dear. And bring the bottle, will you? Joh Ten, I am well pleased with the effort and tactics you put forth on the fly, especially considering your youth. You will serve under Rimmer Dall as quaestor."

The youth's immaculate black uniform snapped as he saluted hard. "Sir! I am honored, thank you, sir."

Johs Rok Tull nodded in acknowledgement. "Rimmer Dall! Before this mission, in two-thousand attempts, FLARE held a 1999-1 success record. I am furious that we are 1999-2 now. You seem inadequate to face the DataPad's recovery alone, as I will not be returning to the field for a short time. As you leave, get me Agita Vagren. I'll see you boys later."

Rimmer Dall and Joh Ten Garden saluted, and exited the office of the world's most deadly man.

The Devil Hand's moniter blinked on suddenly, and the familiar face of Agita Vagren, Chief Technical Captain of FLARE, appeared before him. "Agita," The infamous baritone half-sang, "K4t4oi attempted to access the FLARE mainframe today. Your security measures barely contained him, her, it, whatever. Fact is, old friend, K4t4oi must not gain access to FLARE, and I'd rather not have it access Aros either. Are you up for a little cyber duel?"

The sleek young man on the screen brushed his platinum blonde hair out of his eyes, revealing an eye patch over the left one. He revealed a tiny bit of his perfect, shiny white teeth as he spoke, "I have never faced a hacker of K4t4oi's reputation and reputed skill. I will delight myself in doing battle. Rumour, sir, is that K4t4oi is a woman." The words we incredibly cold. Frigid even.

"I hired you, Agita, because you said that you were the best. Do not fail me. Aros R&D has a system set up for you on floor 78a of Omega building. Medusa sends you transportation now. You have practical staff Agita, but you must defeat K4t4oi on your own. All FLARE members must win personal combat of some type. Prove yourself now." The voice of Johs Rok reaching a dramatic crescendo at the end of his challenge.

Agita Vagren twirled a finger above his head in salute, and disappeared.

Sleek, creamy white fingers caressed Tull's cheek from behind, "Here's our Hypnotic, $%^%&(*), Vagren's escort should be arriving for him in three minutes. Relax with me for a while, you do not have to return to the field for a little while." Her voice was honey, but far sweeter. Just on the right side of flattering, Medusa held complete mastery over normal men. Johs Rok Tull, however, was the only man the proved her equal in bed and in life. The challenge was euphoric, and the two of them danced an increasingly complex dance of subtlety, words, and action.

He smiled, allowing himself to be seduced, toasting, "If we can't have the world, then no one will."

A passionate kiss as they touched glasses.

~-------~

The 12 shadow figures sat around the ancient, massive boardroom table of Aros Inc.

"Johs Rok Tull has asked for a declaration of company wide emergency. The contents of Ross' DataPad were far more extensive than we thought." A slimey voice stated without passion or elegance.

"If we give him a declaration of emergency, we will never wrest power from him again. He is too intelligent, and too powerful. It was a mistake to infuse him materiANIMA." Cried another.

"It is too late! We can fight him later, if Caladbolg is given time to decode and implement the weapons schematics and use the infrastructure data contained in the datapad.... we may fall." Something breathed...

"How can you fight Johs Rok Tull? He killed an SDK with standard equipment. We predicted this, however, his only injury was a moderate shoulder laceration."

"Declare the emergency. Give him all of the S.T.A.R.S. teams and others, there is one way to fight him."

"How?"

"All in good time."

Berky hopped up, looking about. He was still in the shop he'd tumbled into. His beady eyes darted about, taking in his suroundings, which, he noted, were vacant of life. Besides himself anyways. He glanced down at his spiritual guide, and groaned. His guide had decided to go through the 'reincarnation' process again.
"Another test of my spiritual connection with nature..." He sighed, feeling helpless."I'm all for it!" he surged upwards, feeling a new sense of prupose in life.
"But first...A bath!" He gathered his staff and darted out the door. he ran about, asking people about where the people from the store went to. He soon found their trail, jumping over the dead body of a local thug, hardly noticing in his excitement.

He ran through the winding maze of buildings and garbage, stopping to only again, ask about the people he was hunting for. It didn't take him long, he found the shop, that Trey owned. Treyvalen, Valan, what ever, he liked the name, the way it sounded. Had good karma about it, good connection with her spiritual side to his mind.
He skidded to a halt, seeing a cybernetic scout unit hovering in the air, it was watching the shop. His quick eyes spotted, another and another. His eyes widened when he saw armored figures crawling acrossed the rooftops, getting into postion for attack. he saw another group of three Cyborgs, "Bladedancer" units, huddling in the aleyway. This particular series Berky had seen was very good at throwing their "boomerang" blades. the blades were curved, almost like a snake, serrated almost the full length down. On the backs of the blades were small jets, linked with the cyborgs cyber brain, that fired in percise timings to bring the blade back to it's thrower.
Aros was particularily fond of this series, they had a high proficiency for slaughter.
"Way out of touch with nature." growled berky as he readied his staff, he could feel nature begin to take hold of his body, his primal fury welling up within his tiny body.

The skull & feather staff sparked with power as he finished his chanting. Stealth was the key for these three, if they could be taken off-line, the people inside might have a chance. Besides, he could always use a job that pays him, and gives him a stab at the fiendish Aros Incorporation. He slid over to the alleyway, delighted that his stealth skills were as good as ever. And people called him crazy for only wearing a loincloth. He grinned as he neared the first unit. He steadied his pounding heart.
Berky swung once, he felt the electric charge fire into the Bladedancer, it shuddered and convulted as the electricity fried the computerized brain. His staff skipped sharply to the next unit as it turned. It dropped uselessly as well. the third let fly his blade. Berky yipped as he jumped to the side, the blade's jets fired, making the blade whistle as it turned.
Berky threw himself between the legs of the Cyborg, slamming the pole into it's crotch plating. He gave a triumphant "Haha!" as the blade slammed into it's owner's chest.

Excited, he pulled himself up from the pile, in time to see the sniper with his rifle trained on him.

Vincent Allegro is your typical S.T.A.R.S. captain: gruff, human, skilled, and a little skeptical at the crazy shit that comes his way. The 3 foot midget hopping madly in his sniper scope really takes the cake though.. In all 15 years of Allegro's service to Aros, well.. his thoughts will clue us in: What the fucking hell? This shit is wack... should I just shoot it? The Missus was right... should have called off today. Fucking midgets.... I desperately need some Heineken...

The little man began hopping and chanting in a circular pattern, wildly rubbing his hads together, rolling the odd looking staff back and forth between his grubby paws. "Hey you! Yea you! In the... loincloth."

The midget looked up at him, "Yaaahhhhhh?"

"Uhhh.... halt! Stop prancing about.."

"You not in tune with spirit of Nature... Gababaraetg!"

"What did you say? Hey NOW! I AM WARNING YOU NOT ONE STEP CLOSER OR I WILL FIRE!"

"Touchy bastard... I kill you if you don't change your karma."

A funny thing occured on those bleak, desolate streets: Allegro's brain clicked. "Karma?"

"Yaa. Become on with nature, know your spiritual connections."

"How?"

"Come to Berky, he show you."

Vincent Allegro lowered his guard, and sat down in front of the insane midget. "Mr. Berky, teach me to improve my karma... Heal my tortured soul!" Allegro wailed.

Berky was delighted to have finally garnered a disciple.

Johs Rok Tull, High Captain, FLARE; General of Aros Security Forces; Chief Security Officer; etc.:

The board of Aros Incorporated has declared a state of company wide emergency. All security forces and research teams are placed pro-TEMP under your authority. We, the Board of Aros. Directors, demand constant updates, and reserve the right to revoke all of your authority. 8 full S.T.A.R.S. divisions, all of FLARE, and 4 SDK's are under your command.

Retrieve the DataPad. Even if you must declare martial law.

The Board of Aros Incorporated Directors

P. S. Do not become hasty.

:// End Transmission.

"What will you do?" Medusa asked, reading over his shoulder.

"They have given us Aros. Why? There has got to be some catch. I must play this carefully."

"Do not call for martial law, my love. That would destroy us."

"How so?" He asked, curious as to where she was going with that.

"They want you to. Stay just on this side of them, we can always make the leap."

OOC: Trust me, no god-modding or story raping is occuring here. Just playing out dialogue that would occur between the characters. Also, Oogie, i thought if you had a disciple to boss around, it would add a bit more comic relief to a sad, sad story. You can kill him next post if you dont like him. Allegro is loyal to you, though.

"Okay boss," Trey threw Korbin a wink, "Speak. I'm sure we're all dying to know what you need a computer expert for." At least the sarcasm had been held off Olivia's customer had gone. They had gathered up whatever items Liv decided she had to have for this assignment and were back out on the street. The mechanic had even hung a "Sorry we missed you" sign on her door as she locked up. Ever the emphatically polite business woman, Liv was.

"Hacking. What else." Was Korbin's terse reply.

"Now that is something I can do." The gal with the laptop asserted with great confidence.

"You don't even know what we want you to hack." Trey pointed out.

"Doesn't matter." She shrugged, hefted the strap of her computer case higher on her shoulder and continued walking.

Shaking her head at the amazing-ness of the talented people Trey found herself with, she turned to Liv. "The patient is at my clinic. He payed his whole life savings to Big Brother to replace the arm he lost in a expolsion. He's a guitarist, and a bomb went off in the bar he was doing a gig in. Needless to say, he REALLY needs that arm to work properly to get back to his job. Since Aros didn't see him as a future poster child, they didn't find it in their hearts to do the implanting properly. The fix is beyond my knowledge, but it shouldn't take you more than a few minutes to do."

"We'll see." Olivia mumbled. Trey knew that Liv hated shoddy work, and Aros's could be the worst of them all. She couldn't blame her. Aros had made a hell out of nearly everyone Trey knew . . . herself included. She hated the super-corp, that's why she had joined this faction. That's why they all had.

Alrighty now. If I screw anything up, don't yell at me. XD I'm still getting used to the sudden splurge of characters...
I feel special. ^_^;;
-----------------------------------------------------

As the group continued to walk on, Ruya drew the computer bag closer to her side. Afterall, these people could've been trying to mug her, kill her, or worse, get her laptop and her years of mis-spent time. The guy could've been some sort of pimp, and the girls were his sorta hos, and he could've been trying to rape her, or...

Ahh, the joy of thinking of moronic ideas.

"Hey," Ruya splurted out suddenly. "Tell me, again, who you are, and what the hell we're doing, just so I know I'm not getting murdered."

There was silence. Finally, the guy dubbed Korbin said, "Wow, that's a first."
"First what?"
"The first time a person I've joined up with ever wondered if I was going to murder them after they agreed to be on the team."
"Can't help it. It's not like you can trust everybody nowadays."
"Okay, I'll give you credit for that. But seriously kid, why would you question this when you've already agreed for the job?"
Ruya snorted. "Kid?"
"Yeah. What, you want me to call you 'young woman' or something?"
There came a pause. Finally, Ruya shot back, "Feburary 4th."
"What, that your birthday or something?"
"No. Just think about it."

Korbin looked ahead, steaming...but in the end, Ruya knew he was trying to figure out what that meant. Heh heh.

"Well, if you're done chatting with leader-man, then I'm Trey." Ruya's eyes quickly shot over to her, and she made a very obvious thought: Wow, she's young.
"And that's Olivia...Although, maybe you already know that."
"Somewhat," Ruya replied, flicking her hair back. "And...I'm Ruya, just to make that clear. I suppose you can call me 'computer person' or whatever, but a name works better."
"Suppose so."

"And just what are we looking for?" Ruya continued pestering. She could almost feel the plastic of the keyboard against her fingertips.
"We're not 'looking' for anything," Korbin shot, still a little peeved at Ruya's earlier comments that made him feel dumb. "If you didn't hear, we're going to the clinic that Trey here works at. Guitar guy...lost an arm...didn't work right..."
"Ah yes, the hells of Aros," Ruya replied, a sly smile touching her lips. "Those with the money get the good stuff. Those without get defects. Those with money live up there. Those without live down in this place."
"The Aros guys are bastards that need their asses kicked in," Trey grumbled, to which Ruya gave a sudden grin.
"You're my kinda person," she replied, humor in her voice.

"We're here," Olivia said, causing Ruya to lurch forward slightly.
"You still exist?"
"I have."
"Sorry."

Trey looked at the clinic building. "Ah yes. Job sweet job." The tone of her voice gave a different suggestion.

------------------------------------------

Hu-zaa! My first group-talking post! XD I'm a bit confused on just who is in the "Korbin-leader-man" group, but I think this is it. :3

Olivia had visited Trey's clinic many a time, always for the reason that Aros. had done a crappy job putting someone back together. This pissed her off more than anything. They walked into the humble clinic and Trey led them to the patient's room where he waited.

"Hey Alex, sorry to keep you waiting. I brought the reinforcements." Trey replied gesturing to Olivia as she entered close behind. Korbin and Ruya stayed out int he hall, they didn't want to crowd the small room.

"Hello, my name is Olivia, I'll be doing to the repairs." She replied softly giving the patient a warm smile. She brought out the tools and inspected the faulty arm, brushing her hair out of her eyes to get a closer more clear look.

"Um, I'm gonna be able to play after this right?" He asked nervously.

"No sweat, Liv's the best I know. You're in good hands." Trey assured him. Olivia quickly located the problems and took to work.

Outside Korbin stood next to the door his arms folded and his eyes shut. Ruya watched the young mechanic as she tinkered with the patients arm.

"She really knows what shes doing." She stated. "Doesn't she?" She turned a glance over to Korbin who, eyes still shut, didn't notice.

"Shes a good person, and useful to have on our side. Its not everyday you find a mechanic like her." Korbin replied in his stoic voice. Ruya moved aside as trey came out into the hall. "How long?" Korbin asked.

"20 minutes tops." She replied cheerfuly. "Amazing girl, that Liv. Though shes been through hell to get this far." She added her tone going serious. "All of us have. Somthing about her smile though, everytime you see it, you can see the pain she endured to get here. But of course the same as been said about me."

Not much else was said while they waited for Olivia to finish the repairs on Alex. Ruya asked more questions but nothing to detrimental.

Exactly 18 minutes and 23 seconds after she began, Olivia was finished.

"There you go, it should feeel more natural and move more fluidly for you now." She replied kindly as she packed up her tools. Alex stretched the fingers out and rotated the wrist a bit.

"Thank You so much, you're a life saver." He stated excitedly.

"I'm just another person trying lighten our lives, one repair at a time. Nothing more." She replied walking out of the room.

"Theres the miracle worker. Under 20, nice job." Trey remarked patting Olivia on the shoulder as she entered the hall.

"Hardly miracles, but thanks I'm flatered." She turned to Korbin. "We're all yours, where should we start?"

Korbin 'hmmmd' to himself as he leaned against the stucco white walls. The coolness sent chills along his spine, it relaxed him. The only sounds were Ruya's fingers clacking away on the keyboard, and the fan twirling lazily in the air.
"Well...First we need to find the back up unit. It'll have all the information that was supposed to be on the datapad." the others around him nodded their agreement. He hated this, he was ending up to be the so called 'leader'...crap "It should be in the hands of 'Junkshop Hammet'."
The others blinked quizically.
"junkshop Hammet?" piped up Olivia "Why would he have it?"
"Who is junkshop hammet?" asked Trey. Korbin stood fully, his arms still crossed.
"He's a wandering peddler, and one of our agents, I guess. He's never in one spot for too long, and he's found ways of still moving while he's asleep."
"I take it he's called junkshop hammet because he carries his merchandise with him?"
"Exactly." Put in Ruya, taking a break from her typing."No Arian, knock it off." she tried whispering it, but the others gave her odd looks "Thanks Pallav." the young woman looked back up, eyeing them in return.
"what?"
"are you okay?" asked Olivia.
"yeah just fine!" replied Ruya cheerily "It's just...well..."
"Well what?" Trey blinked as if looking at the strangest thing was walking the earth.
"Well..." Ruya cleared her throat." I have voices in my head from a brain implant, two voices to be exact." Korbin chuckled at the thought, he always found things like that to be humorus.
"You know...we could get rid of them for you." Olivia motioned to her tools "I've fixed things like that before.

"Aww no...I've gotten used to em. Besides the only one that's ever a pain is Arian." Ruya grinned as she began typing on her cumpeter again, her fingers creating a storm of click-clacks.
The other three just shrugged...then a midget piggy-back ridding a S.T.A.R.S. Captain burst in through the front door.
"Haha! I've been provided with an apprentice!"

* * *

The twelve convened again, each was clearly distressed. The shadow's themselves seemed to move as the board members flitted about, twidling their thumbs with worry.
"Are you sure your plan will work?" questioned the raspy voice "He's never seen us before, but that wont stop him from tracking us down like dogs if this fails."

"I concure," put in the younger woman "This should, and will, be performed with the utmost care."
"Subtlety never works with a man like Johs...he's too clever for it." stated the table head "a brutal foreward assault will be our only option.
"The spies will work! the assassin's will not fail us!" shouted the older woman "They are close to our creation. Maybe not as close as we would like, but close enough to strike that fatal blow. the timing will need to be percise, when he's weakest."

the young voice broke the silence that settled on the darkened room
"Are you sure it's wise? Letting Caladbolg get at him? are you even sure they're up to the task?"

"he hasn't destroyed them yet." Put in another male voice "They've got to have some margin of skill."
"Besides, "said the voice of a frail old woman "We have our cover story in case they fail."
"They had found a copy of Dr. Ross's datapad, and were able to gain access to all facilities. There was no way we could have changed all our passwords in time, without losing trillions of dollars worth of research that we have to deliver on time, if we are to maintain Aros Inc.'s position and credibility." Recited the young woman. "Besides we can't lose military support now, can we?"
The voices all rang with laughter at the mocking tone of her voice, it set them all at ease.
"Very well then! the plan willl begin as soon as possible!" the table head had a tone of command emanating from him now "Give it time and it will be done."
The board concluded their meeting, each leaving from a seperate doorway, save the table head.
A screen flickered behind him, giving way to static.
"Is it done? is everything in order my love?"
The table head turned his chair towards the screen, his thin red lips curling into a cruel smirk of satisfaction. Satisfaction at seeing his 'allies' demise approaching fast.
"It is done..."

Berky yipped as guns were pulled and trained on him and the captain. Vincent threw his arms wide, showing he posed no threat. Everyone stood still as the tension grew in the room.
a voice crackled on the radio almost immeadiately:
"Captain Allegro! What are you thinking get back into position before your discovered!" Vincent smiled weakly as he reached slowly for the radio, aware of the eyes, and weapons trained intensly on him. A swift jerk and the radio tore free.
"My first step towards communing with nature."
Berky peeked up from behind Vincent, thumping his staff on the ground triumphantly.
"HA! Your apprenticeship with me is paying off! You will be a wise shaman one day!" vincent gave a slight bow, unsure of how to thank his new master. The other's just stared, suspicious and confused. Korbin strode foreward, gun still aimed at vincents face, he grabbed ahold of the captain, shoving him over a counter.
"What sort of game is this?! GAHH!" Korbin fell to the ground twitching, beerky's staff crackled with electricity.
"Now now! no violence! we came to warn you all!" Berky pointed at the other's, stunned beyond all belfief at the odd loincloth clad midget. He took it to be they were impressed with his shamanic powers.
"You! are all doomed!" his tirade held a certain sense of forebooding in it."For now as we speak! The defilers of nature gather round this building!" Trey and Olivia exchanged one glance before they dove, gathering their tools. Ruya, began to hack into their comm. network.
Vincent brushed himself off, bending down to whisper in berky's ear.
"Thanks."
"Your my apprentice, next time, try to tap into your shamanic abilities to ...Gah! the green men are back. DIEEE!" He began whacking the ground rapidly staff, shouting with glee and yelling "Gotcha you little alien bastard! damned Aros fiends!"
He looked at Olivia. "You've got one on your shoulder!" he pointed at her left "Don't worry I'll get em!" He charged at her, spinning 'SkullCrusher' above his head, screaming his battle cry. A rounded can crashed through the window, sending thick noxious yellow smoke billowing out. Berky skidded to a halt.
"Wait...I didn't summon the choking mist" He eyed vincent as the others began hacking & coughing. He was trying to tell odd people he could help them out past the units outside "Apprentice! did you do this!" Berky whacked the poor man's shin with skull crusher
"I havn't taught you to do this yet! It should be beyond your power!" He whacked him again gor good measure.
"No god dammit! No!" hobbled towards the back window "The defilers outside shot a grenade in, we have to get out of here!"
"Ahaa! Good apprentice! help these odd people escape the defilers we will." Completely clueless, and un-daunted by the gas, he led Olivia and trey towards the back window, while vincent drug a sluggish Korbin over as well.
"How are you *cough* immune?" hacked Trey.
"What?" Berky blinked.
"To the gas! how are you immune!?" Berky thought for a minute
"Oh! that! I think it's just how many times I've been shot with it. Either that, or my face has gone completely numb from being sprayed with mace all the time."
"You humans are touchy about me when I try stripping you of all that is unnecessary and unnatural."
"Unnecessary & and unnatural?" Berky's head bobbed eagerly, ready to share his beleifs
"Yes! your cybernetics and clothings!"
"Perverted bastard." muttered Ruya
"...I like my new master's idea." stated a grinning vincent.
The Aros soldiers began moving through the door's and windows.

ooc: sorry I havn't put up too many posts, been having a backwards version of writers block. I was thinking of how I could beat my apprentice and everybody else, I had to many ideas!

Noir reached her car and took in a breath. She felt rejuvinated finally after that long nap. Energy conversation was a pain in the ass but it kept her going. She cleaned her sword making the bones, of both human and mechanic shine with resilence(SP?)
Noir then finally stepped into the TK Advanced- and turned the key. The onyx car finally started up and she peeled out of the area in which she was parked. When she saw the red entrance she pulled the car to a stop making sure the engine had cooled and the car itself was hidden. Then getting out she walked to a small door when a soft woman's voice protruded into the darkness.

" Acess password, Acess, Password gain entrance....waiting Response.."

Noir turned her head and drew in a breath and spoke "Noir, Black Angel, Seraphim of judgement...Acess must be permitted to the Seraphim"

The voice spoke again after Noir's response and Noir proceeded though the door. She walked into a dimly lit room the walls covered in an array of weaponary.
Her eyes darted across two vacant spots on the wall and she removed her holster and the two twin magnums. She placed them against the vacant spot filling the wall back to its former glory. Her breath became quick as she began to let her hand slice through the air. Her feet slid against the ground kicking up small particales of dust and as her ice blue eyes caught the faint sparkle in the air and withing seconds Boir had scaled the wall and grabbed a small dagger resting on the wall and tossed it, The dagger sliced through the air cutting the particales in even smaller units of miniscule atoms before getting stuck in the door.

"Render yourself Obsolete...Render yourself eradicated" Noir whispered as she again though of the one named Korbin.

Her eyes closed breifly as she ran a finger down her thigh thinking of his frame and how he could be the one to dominate her superior strength. Taking a quick stride to a back room Noir unclothed and strolled into the bathroom. Putting on some Vintage music from way back when she listened to the voice of Trent Reznor pierce the air.
As she waited for him, hoping that he would come and maybe she could find out why she needed a superior person to destroy her as a human, as a cyborg, as a tool of revenge.

Everything happened so quikcly that Olivia had a hard time comprehending anything until the dwarf man said somthing a about cybernetics and clothes being removed.

"I'd just like to see you try and take mine out, Liv can't even get to them." Trey remarked clearing her head. "Isn't that right Liv... Liv?" Olivia had one of her pistols out and pointed at the man in uniform that was obviously following the dwarfs lead. Her hand was trembling, and her eyes narrowed.

"If you even think of touching me or any of these guys, I will shoot you." Her voice was just as shaky as her hand as she spoke. They could hear the Aros. soliders coming, and Trey placed a hand on Olivia's shoulder.

"Hey its alright no ones stripping anyone of anything today. Lets just get out of here." Trey replied calmly. Olivia lowered the weapon slowly and returned it to its holster on her back.

"Right lets get out of here, before they strip of us of our lives." Ruya replied, and 6 of them headed down a back alley way.

Korbin shook his head, trying to re-orient himself. Gun fire was rattleing off behind them, bullets whistled by their heads. The 6 of them split to either side of the alley way, diving behind trash piles and dumpsters.
Vincent took his Z-66 sub-machine gun to his shoulder, sighting instantly down the barrel . He squeezed the trigger firing three rounds on it's burst setting. The Aros soldiers answered with a hail of bullets.
"This isn't gonna work, we'll be caught in a cross fire!" She threw six shurikan at another soldier. The first sliced the earpiece's wire. The second and third took the poor soldiers eyes through his goggles. the last two caught the man in the throat. "SHIT!" she ducked as a 12-gauge slug tore into the trash pile beside her.
"Their sending air units!" shouted Ruya "Six Humming birds!" Korbin drew Zephyr and fired three rounds. He smiled as he was rewarded with a lightening in the bullet storm.
"Here! In here!" the looked to berkey, he was pulling with all his might on a sewer cover.
Olivia dove next to him and began pulling. It side with a metallic scrapeing noise as it came free.
Berkey charged his staff then threw it down into the sewers. A sharp crack could be heard, along with surprised shouts. Berky giggled maniacally as he dropped down Olivia slid down the grimey ladder after him, Trey soon followed not even bothering with the ladder. She splashed down, looking about to see Berkey and Olivia delivering Cu Degra's to the stunned Aros Cyber troops. Ruya climbed down, her laptop resting in her backpack
Vincent tossed Korbin a small satchel, drawing one of his own. They pulled the rip cords and tossed. Korbin flew back, taking two rounds. One tore through his shoulder, sending a small gout of blood flying. The other bounced off of his left cyber arm with a resounding ring of metal striking metal. Korbin squirmed slightly, clutcing the shoulder as blood oozed forth, clawing his way to the man-hole as explosions tore the air from his lungs. Vincent pulled him again, and jumped into the sewer.
Korbin winced as Oliva and trey did a patch up repair to stop the bleeding.
"We need to split up." Ruya was panting, paranoid. They all were. Korbin nodded in agreement.
"Right *gasp* we split up into two groups." Korbin was having a little trouble thinking straight, between electrocution, being shot and explosions. "Berkey, Vincent you two go with Trey. Olivia, Ruya come with me." He leaned back taking in a great gush of air."Once we get past their squads, we split up again. Run individually."
Everyone put in their agreement towards the plan. Smoke began to filter down, the trash had caught fire.
Ruya stepped foreward her breathing coming in quick gasps. This was the closest call any of them have had in a while. "I'll set up...ahh...I'll set up a secure page for us to communicate on. The mission's still a go right?"
They all nodded again, then took off in seperate directions.

* * *

Korbin ran down the dank, slime covered sewer tunnels, Ruya was close behind. Their steps created splashes, disturbing the human waste floating in the system. Korbin spotted movement in the shadow's ahead, the dim lighting. He sped foreward with inhuman speed, springing between the third generation BladeDancers, dubbed "duelists. Much more lithe in construction, they fought close range with a variety of blades, prefering Rapier or Katana styled weapons.

They swung, missing their mark by mere inches. In a flash, His Shirisaya was drawn, beheading the two cyborg units in a clean stroke. He landed sheathing his sword in the same motion. Korbin turned to see Ruya lowering a FLARE soldier, yanking her knife from his throat. The blood spurted from the wound in time with his dying heartbeat. She met his eyes with her's, she was shaken but still together.
"What? I've had to defend myself before.
Korbin shook his head, pushing his humor to the back of his mind. They continued down the tunnels. Minutes later they past into safety, splitting up to go seperate directions.
"Where are you going?" Korbin looked back to Ruya.
"I'm getting help! we're going to need it!" they parted ways. They needed to find Hammet now. If anyone discovered him with the back up unit, they would know about it through the Caladbolg networks. Then they would be ready to strike. They would need more help for when they struck, and Korbin already had someone in mind. He was going for her address as soon as he escaped the sewers and got cleaned up.:

Noir shut the shower off. Something was making the internal security go haywire.
Grabbing a similar piece of clothing to what she wore before Noir clothed herself in tight black leather onepiece. Walking into the front room she reached a computer and sat down. Looking at the large screen she accessed the secruity cameras. What her eyes darted over her breath became short.

"He's here" she whipsered.

Leaving the computer on standby she scaled the walls and pulled off a sword large and thick it's blade shining with metallic cruelty. She jammed the sword through the small hole on the back of her trench and walked to the front door. That same haunting womans voice echoed through the chamber.

"The seraphim is about to murder those who have committed sins?"

Noir looked up at the ceiling and smiled tying her hair into a high ponytail only her bangs covered her nice firm cheekbones.

"No, The serpahim is about to learn answers, and she herself is about to sin.."

Laughing sadistically Noir exited the area and filtered into the darkness waiting for him to arrive.

His Brown eyes lingered on the inner entryway to her inner sanctum. This was the address, and korbin didn't think that Noir had lied to him about it. He could hear a voice repeating on and on about him being a sinner, and how the 'serephim' was going to mete out his punishment. The screen on the voice scan access panel light up with blue lights asking for his password.
His hands flew to his weapons as the door slid open, he thought he could her Noir's laughter somewhere from within. He stood tense, letting his conciousness fall into his instinctive self. He felt no fear, no hesitation as he strode in to Noir's inner sanctum.

"The Serephim has granted you entrance." the voice was spooky, would have been creepy to Korbin had he not been mentally prepared. The weapons linning the wall gave him insight to his opponent, and gave him back up plan after back up plan.
Her laughter filled his ears, seeming to echo from all acrossed the darkened room he entered, in the dim lighting he could make out a number of support pillars near to him.
He drew his shirisaya in time. Sparks flew from their blades as they connected. White, reflective steel sliding against The purest, light absorbing black.

Noir's eyes blazed with firey pasion as they danced their deadly dance of blades together. Their swords hummed their deadly song as they went round and round. Korbin spun, blade twirling above his head, while Noir went for the opening, thinking herself quicker. Korbin spotted the movement, and brought his blade to bear wtih the full force of his momentem behind it. She barely blocked his attack, sparks sprining to life from their blades again. Her leg snaked out to sweep his from under him. He jumped up and back away from her, and she followed, her face split in a wide grin of pleasure.
She kept up her rapid assault battering away at Korbin's impecable defenses. They finally both met, swinging full force, and their blades went flying from each other to rest in opposite pillars. Lights flickered on, illuminating the room as they launched at each other, fists flying, and feet leaping from the ground to strike the other. Noir blocked a series of attacks from korbin, feeling each one sending waves of pain through her.
She backflipped, her feet catching Korbin under the chin. He rolled with the blow as much as he could, flipping himself with it. They both landed near their weapons. Drawing them with a distinctive metallic ringing sound, they launched at each other colliding in mid-air. They slipped on each other's bodies, glistening with sweat.

Noir ended up on top, her blade lowering towards Korbins throat.
"You lose." She was still grinning but a hint of disapointment tainted her lovely voice. She was warm, her breathing deep and quick. Korbin couldn't resist, his hands snapped on her wrists, he pulled and pushed with his knees simeltaneously, flipping her onto her back, with him straddling. Struggling to push her own sword down towards her throat, he grinned wolfishly.
"Don't be so quick to judge that it's over." She let go of her sword, her face darted foreward to meet his. Their lips touched, parting instantly to let their tounges meet. The sword was flung away from them as they, hastily stripped themselves, and let their wild, frenzied pasions overwhelm all thought and reason. The lights flickered and dimmed again.

Olivia had split off from the group as told, and headed to the last place she saw Hammet, hoping to get some info on where he might have headed. She knew it would probably leave her dry, but she wasn't sure what eles to do. She was a mechanic not detective. She flinched when she felt a stream of blood run down her arm and drip from her fingers. She lifted her right arm for a closer inspection. Not too much damage had been caused, but she had been grazed by an Aros bullet. She stopped and pulled some bandaging from her satchel, she took one look at the wound, then at the bandage. Her face krinkled in frustration.

It figures, I'm right handed and thats just a really hard spot to bandage bymyself. She thought as she began to attempt the binding. She spent a lousy 20 minutes trying to put the bandage on when she was interupted by a male voice.

"Hey there." She looked up nervously. There standing only 4 feet away was a fairly tall man. He had strawberry blonde hair that hung just below his chin, and blue eyes that made even the sky seem dull. "It looks like you're having some problems, can I help you?" He took a step forward.

"Um... its just.... that.... this dumb--" Her voice was quiet and flustered.

"Here, let me get that. Thats a hard spot to bandage." He stepped up and took the bandage from Olivia's now shaking hands. His movements were graceful as he gently wrapped the wound. He wore a slight smile on his face, one that showed no malice or greed, Olivia like it.

"You should be careful when you're out on your own. Its dangerous down here." He said, his voice was kind. He looked up at Olivia's face then replied. "But it looks as though you already know that." He was reffering to the cut she recieved earlier that day. "My names Thomas. Thomas Valley. I work over at that bakery over there." He gestured behind him. There was a small bakery with a sign hanging above the door that said "Valley's". "May I ask your name?"

"Olivia Heartily." She stated shyly.

"Thats a good name." Thomas remarked finishing off the bandage.

"I didn't know quaint little shops like bakery's still exsited down here?" Olivia replied looking over at the shop.

"We try, all we want is too bring smiles to peoples faces." He smiled down at Olivia. "I haven't seen you around here before, are you new in the area?"

"No I just don't get out much." Olivia stated glancing down at her feet. There was a moment of silence betweent hem, and Olivia felt really akward.

"Would you like to come in for a cinnamon oll or somthing? I just finished a fresh batch." His smile was genuine as he gave the invitation. Olivia nodded her head, and he led her toward the shop. He opened the door for her and as she entered she was assalted by the fragrence of fresh baked goods. Thomas walked to the other side of thecounter and pulled out a small pastry that was coated in powdered sugar and handed it to Olivia. She accepted it with a still slightly shacking hand, and took a cautious bite.

"Good huh?"

"Delicious." Olivia exclaimed. Thats when she remembered what she was really doing in the area. "Um may I ask you a question?"

"Shoot."

"Have you seen a junk dealer anywhere around her lately?" Her voice was very quiet as she asked.

"You mean Hammet? Ya I've seen him, about 2 days ago. Why?" He asked raising an eyebrow.

"I need some parts." Olivia replied.

"Oh of course, I saw him heading toward the south side of town."

Shplik splash sploosh. Ruya's feet pumped hard against the cement and sludge water. Her breath was coming in shorter and shorter gaps. Finally, after running for a good ten minutes, she stopped, panting.
"Shit, this sucks," her hoarse voice whispered. It echoed softly in the sewer. Her mind was racing, her heart pumping fast.
Ruya stumbled backwards against the wall, savoring the relief it brought her. She controlled her breathing, taking in deep breaths, eventually bringing her heart rate back to normal.

"I told you," Arian said, "That something like this was going to happen. I told you somebody was outside."
"Hate to admit it, but you're right - for once."
"Bite me."
"Hard to when you're a voice in my head."
"Not my fault."
"Now now ladies, just stop for a moment...Be thankful we got away."
"Stop taking her side Pallav! Geez."
Ruya couldn't help but smile. She wiped the smear of blood off her cheek, her eyes on the knife tightly clenched in her right hand. The blade was covered in goopy red, her hand stained in a faint bronze.
"Can't believe I had to kill one of those guys...again." She sighed but quickly brought herself back to reality. Ruya jumped up slightly, slamming her feet into the cement, focusing her thoughts.

"Need to get to work," she proclaimed to the tunnel. It echoed a long distance, causing her to grimmace. "Shit, shouldn't do that."
Unzipping the laptop case and slinging the strap around her neck much like a saxophone player does, Ruya turned on her laptop and waited a moment for the system to boot up. Once it was open, she clicked over to her list of speciality programs.

Click clack click click.

"Opening program 'Communikation Network 7.201'. New channel open. Insert contact ID."
Ruya, once again, closed her eyes before flicking open the eyelid for her right. The gold was subdued in the sewer, the pupil much larger than it normally was. Rumaging in her pocket, she drew out the wireless USB connector and plugged it in.
"C'mon, c'mon...yes! Open the eye...go back...back...fast-rewind...come on! Sheesh."
"Talking to yourself is the first sign of insanity, you know."
"I have you two. I'm already insane."
"...Good point."
Currently on the computer screen was the video feedback that Ruya's cybernetic eye had seen. The recordings went back ages, and were categorized by when she fell asleep and when she woke up. Sometimes, two or even three days worth of video were crammed into one folder, but the next day, nothing was recorded because she was sleeping the entire time.
There. Right at the moment when the one woman had been in the shop earlier, getting...something...fixed. Eh. Ruya slid the mouse to emcompass Olivia. The ID for the mechanic popped up, and the hacker entered that into the communication network list.
Next came Trey and Korbin. Fast forward to the clinic. Ruya's fingers maneouvered the mouse to select the midget's ID. But when she was about to enter it into the network, a message popped up:
"Warning: No cybentics on subject found. Look for outside connection?"
Humor me, Ruya thought, and she clicked on his staff. A smile. Sure enough, the self-proclaimed shaman, shunner of all technology, was on the network via the staff.

The video feed had noise connected to it, which was when Ruya remembered she had never fully seen the boy's entire body. What was he called? Ahh...Vincent. Yes. She remembered with a laugh a review she had read of a gothic-esque manga...No, the lead male couldn't be called something like John or Aaron. Those aren't gothic enough. So what is? Vincent, of course.
Silently cursing her lack of funds in improving her communcation network program and to get better software for her eye, Ruya decided to skip Vincent and just go ahead with what she had.

"Wait, how does this work?" Pallav's thoughtful voice asked. She could feel his gaze in her forehead, looking down at the screen.
"Nearly every human on the planet has a cybernetic part, unless you're like that crazyed psycho midget, what's-his-face, Berky. By, ah, tapping into the part's hardware, I can open up a channel through the electrical pulse to the brain and create a communication channel."
"Come again?"
"Um, okay, let's see...The cybernetic parts are connected to the brain by fake nervs in order to allow for regular function. By selecting a user ID like this and inputing the ID, I get an overview of what the 'government' sees in their little checklist, including cyber parts. I tap into the 'nerv' of the part, opening a communication channel. Sound is merely waves that can be transferred through tissue, bones, organs, and other things in the human body. Really no sweat."
"I'll take your word for that."

Grinning, Ruya continued to work her magic, fingertips ablaze on the keyboard. Finally, her hands stopped, paused, and clicked.

Pssshk... "Yo, Korbin?" Ruya spoke. From the other end, she heard a squeek, a grunt, a sound like 'mmmfuk!', and two gasps.

Oh yes, this was strangely satisfying.

Trey was going to KILL Korbin the instant she saw him again. Why was she stuck with Nature Man and his side-kick, Looney-cop? If they got her killed, she was going to haunt the whole group till they begged for mercy. Maybe not Liv -- she'd leave Liv alone. That girl had enough heart-attacks in her life.

"Are you prepared to become one with nature?" Berky asked her as they ran down the sewer pipes. The little guy eyed her in a licentious manner. The apprentice seemed to echo his enthusiasm.

"Touch me, little man, and neither of you will live to regret it!" She hissed nastily. She heard a distinct metallic ring of footing up ahead. Pulling more stars from her pouch she snarled, "What I am prepared to do is stay alive. If you would like to do the same, stay down and stay out of my way."

With that, she sprang onto Vincent's shoulders for a millisecond, then launched herself forward through the air. She gripped a rebar hand-hold on the "ceiling" and kicked out in a split, taking off the heads of two bladedancers. Fortunately, they weren't the newest type of that line, or the trick wouldn't have worked. Trey dropped into a low crouch, avoiding bullets fired by two more bots by the tiniest of margins. Then she just let her training and her bionics take over. Doing her best not to create any marked pattern she alternated between high and low attacks, trying to keep the central processors of her attackers off balance. The roundness of the slimy pipes helped as she bounded catlike from sidewall to ceiling to floor to sidewall. The bullets ricocheted around causing more damage to the bladedancers then they were worth. Trey had been dodging ballistics for too long to be hit by any of these jokers when they had her full attention. She whirled and spun like the proverbial dervish, taking out the last opponent with a decisive roundhouse kick to the neck -- this model's biggest weakpoint.

Breathing hard, she turned to make sure the crazy ones were still among the living and not plotting how to get her out of her clothes while she wasn't looking . . . but they were gone. She hadn't even heard them slog away through the muck, and her hearing was pretty acute considering it was a non-heightened sense. "Wow. If that's what you can do when you 'become one with nature' then . . . nope, still not worth it."

Trey shook her head and carefully made her way to a manhole that was slightly ajar -- she certainly wasn't strong enough to man-handle one open herself, not like Korbin. She decided to make her way to her gym. If Aros had attacked her clinic for some yet unfathomable reason, they might be trying to contact her at her home for "questioning" over the "incedent." She knew that smelling of sewer would be a dead give-away for her whereabouts this afternoon. Her gym had showers, change of clothing, and they didn't like Aros any more than she did. The owners would cover for her if an alibi was needed. Besides, a charilty soup kitchen was located nearby there. If Hammet wasn't there himself, there was bound to be someone there how could at least get her going in the correct gereral direction. But first -- a shower.

 • 2 weeks later...
Noir woke up sweat dripping from her brow. She glanced upwards at the lights that seemed to give off a pasty yellow glow. She rolled over and went to grab a pillow that she thought was near but her hand grazed flesh.
Warm flesh that also had a hint of sweat trickling down it. Noir sat abruptly up her face flushed, letting her eyes avert down she realized that she was naked and her clothes were somewhere else. Getting quietly up out ofthe bed she darted to the wall that was covered in weaponary. Pulling off a small dagger she then hopped onto the bed startling the man sleeping there. Sheplaced the knife to his neck but when the lights flickered she gasped and smiled softly. The man that was straddled from her thighs was none other than Korbin.

"Korbin" she said in a hasty breath.
She leaned down and kissed his lips feeling the moistness of his soft flesh touch her shivering body. What emotions she felt in her chest was frightening and altogether maddening. She Pulled her lips away and waoke him gently. Reaching into the air a small disc appeared into her hands and she handed it to the hardly awake Korbin.

"Korbin, Keep this disc safe...all the mainframes of Aros employes and thier designated assignments are on here, as well as some thing about me, and my father..."

She removed herself from Korbin and clothed quickly leaving the vincinity she needed to think. Her mind was going over all the reasons why this was so wrong.

"Why did I give him that disc it contains infomation about the Oracle cannon...about Project Blue, and about the seraphim of justice...me."

Noir walked into the darkness hoping that he would not betray her. Aros needed her for the oracle cannon, and they would get the information any way and any how.

Korbin was walking hastilly away from Noir's place. He wasn't going to lie, he enjoyed himself thoroughly, and was planning on visiting once this mess was resolved. He spun the disk inside his coat pocket, his shirisaya clicking on the ground every other step.
He'd have to have ruya look at it when he met up with her again. The site might be secure like she said, but he would trust it more if he met her in person about it.

Her report said that she, Trey, and Olivia were on Hammets trail, and word was trey was going to kill him for sticking her with nature freaks 1 & 2, Berky and Vincent. Korbin chuckled as he remembered the way Ruya 'dropped' in on him and Noir. She was probably hard at work auctioning her work.

He strode past a store selling the latest in Holovid technology. Their little rampage was still on the news and...!

"Oh...shit." Shit summed up the situation Korbin saw in front of him perfectly well:

Judy Banks with a special live broadcast news break!

"In response to the recent outbreak of terrorist activities acrossed the Globe, all aimed at the benevolent Aros Inc., the Board of the corporate conglomorate has responded by bestowing emergency powers over to their cheif of FLARE special security division Johs Rok Tull." the display cut to Johs's imposing figure, standing tall in front of the podium.

"People of Earth!" his eyes seemed to look deep within one's soul, seeing every truth and lie about a person "As of this day, I have received temporary command over the entire Aros company, a state of worldwide emergency is now in effect!" people gathered around korbin, speaking in low hushed tones.
"As we speak, police forces, S.T.A.R.S., Military, Aros Inc. Security units, are all being deployed nation wide, to combat the increasing threat from the Caladbolg terrorist group!"
As Johs spoke, aircraft looed up over the buildings, seeming foreboding birds of prey. Long lines snaked out from their bellies, and troops began descending rapidly onto the rooftops to set up equipment.
"This is all for the safety of the public. A 12:00 p.m. curefew will be put into effect for all persons legally considered to be an adult. A 10:00 p.m. curefew will be set for all those not considered adults."
Armored Personel carriers screached to a halt, tearing the pavement to shreds as they slid to a halt. Soldiers in full combat gear rushed out setting check points, full cyborgs stepped out to reinforce them, Bladedancers, duelists, Even the heavy machine gun toting hailstorm units. Korbins teeth ground together, this just kept getting better and better...
"Air travel will be restricted. Travel to the moon, and Mars will be monitered, and in some cases restricted." He seemed the imperious leader now, he seemed to be enjoying himself in this little game of his.
"Until the Caladbolg members are hunted down, this will all be in effect from here after! Furthermore!" his gaze seemed to spike in intensity. "There will be a 300,000 credit reward for information that leads to the capture of any caladbolg agent, or sympathiser. Any information leading to the annihilation of Caladbolg will be rewarded with a 1,000,000 credit bounty!" the crowd hushed at the sudden announcment. A whole million? Caladbolg had few friends now. Korbin turned and strode down the street, avoiding the checkpoints while he could this wasn't good at all.
"Oh fucking great!" He didn't notice that the alley carried his voice well. "We havn't even found Hammet yet, and now this!" he whirled in frustration, his good mood spoiled. This mission was going to be hell. And if he survived, he was going to make sure he was paid well, in Aros top military parts.

"Carefull." Korbin spun upon hearing that familiar voice "Your temper can get you in a lot of trouble." it was Vick, Caladbolgs 'mailman'
"What is it?" Korbins voice carried no friendship
"A friendly tip, others'll be gettin the same message later on." He turned, already ready to leave "Hammet was seen skulking near the old fair grounds."
"That old graveyard?" Vick stopped to peer at Korbin.
"Not afraid of what's there are you? Hammet isn't. it's where he gets most of his ...how do I say this...'products'."
"I ain't afraid...it's just this is messy enough, don't need those old skeletons rearin up to tear my cyberware out of me."
Vick just laughed, his shoes tromping the cement as he walked away.

Graveyard huh? Korbin headed for the nearest terminal, the others needed to know about this.

attention to all psylab agents...report back to 'Heaven' immeadiatly for mission updates and briefing...attention to all...

that was the message. Aros sure as hell hadn't consulted them on this, and this was one of those things that really could fuck with someone's business. And the people of Psylabs always meant business.
Tylar Richards took everything seriously, even from a small age when he first learned to kill with a thought, he took the matter seriously, deciding on how to best work his mothers murder to his advantage. Framing his father was the best solution, as it rendered him, and his dear sister blameless. It was a simple thing to control the drunkards mind, almost pleasurable...
That was irrelevant, back to the matter at hand.
The room was dark right now, illuminated only by the light coming from the various screens on current events, and the spy units trained on each of their agents. Had the overhead lights been on, they would have reavealed the room to be sterile white, with gleaming metallic desks and chairs for the operators to sit in.
Tylar Richards lithe frame sat in the control chair, planning the companies best move. He came to one conclusion, screw Aros. If they wanted their Disk back that badly, they can continue on their own. Sure as hell had the man power and resources to do it. But could their be an advantage if...?
One of their agents had breif contact with agents from Caladbolg. Not one of Psylabs favorite groups, but respected for their daring. Could the information be enought to eliminate the greatest global entity? Probably not, but it could certainly divide it and knock down their power a peg or two. then psylabs wouldn't have to play yes man to the ironfisted boardmembers. Hell they could even locate those people for Caladbolg...
He stopped that train right there, to many people playing for different teams. Sure he may be the most powerfull psychic in the building, but that doesn't stop the clever ones from catching a glimpse or two.
When their agents gathered, it'd be time to dispatch the new orders:

learn why Aros wants that disk so bad. Find possible leverage.

If it turned out to be crucial, they could have options open up to them. Many options.

"Have word spread that other than our team hunting for hammet, all others are to go underground!" Idendholdt was holding his head, the stress was mounting. they knew the general are hammet was in, the potential for a real retaliation was at nearly at hand! But it kept slipping through their fingers.
His lueitenents saluted briefly, hustling to give thier orders. He sat breathing deeply in the sparsly decorated brick room.
"Nothing has gone rigt since you died. has our spirit died out as well?" He drew one more breath. it all was resting with those few. They couldn't risk having multiple cells active now. One team would have a shot going unoticed, provided they could cordinate themselves moving seperately.
"Once we get the layouts and passwords, we attack here." he pointed to a map, talking to himself. The shimmering metal finger rested on the building of an Aros weapons Storage facility.
When your enemy has what you need, take it from them.

OOC: Sorry for not being on as well internet was down...And again sorry for the rapid fire posting.

Noir tried to shake off the feeling of this pain and longing. The past night she felt wonderful, every orface has screamed euphoria and that was what troubled her. Cracking her neck she twirled the dagger in her hands trying to listen to the conversation before her. Something had triggered her to return to the underground laboratory of her father. Walking into the vacant doorway she closed her eyes and tried to get rid of the pain that infliltrated her heart. Glanicing to the wall she touched a small red stain. When her fingers hit the wall a excruiciating scream escaped her lips and she fell to her knees the dagger being flung aside. She could feel her back pulsing with an undescribable pain. It hurt so bad that Noir could barley see, withing moments her back began to split open and a voice called out to the inside of her head

"Noir...Saynt, the child of hatred, the seraphim YOU are the ORACLE...."

Noir tried to get up as her clothes burned away in an invisable flame. Her naked body dripped with sweat as she tried to gain some hold onto what was happening. After a few screams almost animalistic as they escaped into the vacant laboratory. As she stood up she was lifted into the air an astral projection floating beside her the light of the invisable flames. Holding her chest she cried as unspeakable pain awashed her skin. Then suddenly it stopped and two light grey wings protruded from her back, The ripped through her flesh and small blood trickled down her shoulders. Noir's vision went blank as she was gently laid down against the concrete.
And again the voice caressed the darkness

"Sleep beautiful angel you are needed for the salvation of mankind...but in this war surely you will perish"

Noir went to sleep with the last remaining thoughts of Korbin and the hopes that he would resuce her from her own hell.

Olivia had seen the news reports on the television in the bakery and found an excuse to quickly leave. She new they needed to find Hammet and that she needed to stay out of harms way. She took as many back alleys as she could not really sure where to go, only that he had headed in this general direction. She turned a corner and ran head long into Vic, the delivery man.

"Hey Vic, whats the news?" She asked nearly out of breath.

"Hes been spotted at the fair grounds." He stated quietly, and without missing a beat moved out of her way and kept walking as if they didn't know eachother and really did just bump into eachother.

The old grounds of course, thats were most of his merchandise comes from, why didn't I think of that in the first place? She thought changing her course and heading toward the location.

She was attempting to be as careful and sneaky as possible but the truth hurts and Olivia was not a very sneaky person. After a few blocks of running she turned into an alley, halfway down that alley a small team of 5 Aros. Special forces dropped in. She figured she was recognized from their little fiasco when without questions or words at all they began to open fire. As if she knew it was going to happen, Olivia dropped to a low crouch and two of the Aros troops went down thanks to crossfire. No one ever gave them credit for being smart, but smart or not the shots were not lethal and both soliders stood back up. From her crouch she rolled backwards, rolling directly between two of troops and ending up behind them. She quickly stood as one of the soliders bullets conected with her left shoulder. She let out a small cry of pain she made a 180 and bolted off in the opposite direction. The troops rounded the corner shortly after her and let the rain of bullets fly through the air toward their target, To Olivia's misfortune 3 of the 5 bullets hit.

Damn, I can't take much more of this. She thought gritting he teeth and loosing her footing for only a moment before re-gaining and continuing. She made a quick side dive for a crevas between two dumpsters and pulled out her pistols. She let a pair of bullets loose in the troops direction, one striking a solider in the chest dropping him. She ducked back away from the storm of ammo atempting to end her exsitance, waited for a perfect moment then shot four more rounds, dropping three more soliders. The last remaing solider pulled his radio out to call fro back-up as he ducked around a corner. Back-ups all I need! She tought looking for a way out. About 10 feet further up the alley and across the way was a window, if she could get through that window and get up to the roof through the building she may have a chance. She bit her lip, shot twice at the ducking solider, then took of a sprint toward the window. She fired two shots at the window to weaken the glass, then gritting her teeth and hoping it would work lept through the window. Glass shattering and scattering across the floor, a few shards stuck in her Olivia made a mad dash for the door. She swung the door open and ran toward the stair case. She made her way up the 4 story building and out onto the rooftop, and without thinking made a crazy leap for the next roof. She made the jump by only a breath, tumbling onto the ground of the roof, and rolling back into a standing position. She found the door leading downstairs and ran down the flights of stairs till she reached the front door bursting out of it and running for all she was worth. She must have hit the last solider, becasue he hadn't come after her yet, but she did not allow herself to slow down.

After a solid half an hour of running at full speed without bandaging her wounds, she began to feel slightly dizzy and her lungs burned more than ever, but she made it to her location. She scanned the area for any signs of her companions, but her vision had begun to blur slightly from the blood loss. The pain from the gunshot wounds and glass suddenly came into existance as her adrenaline began to wear off, and she collapsed to her knees. She had taken two shots to the shoulder, one had grazed her ear, and another had entered the lower back and had gone clean through exiting out the abdomen. Not to mention the shards of glass that had embeded itself in various places.

"Anyone here?!" She called out before completely falling to the ground unable to move from the intense pain. Now all she could do was attempt to stay concious and cross her fingers that someone friendly would find her before Aros. did.

"God, Liv, you're a mess." Trey muttered as she began to try and patch up her friend. Most of the wounds were superficial, but the one in the gut was what had Trey worried. She was no M.D., but she had taken enough anatomy classes to know a huge mess when she saw one.

Trey had just gotten out of the shower when Vic walked into her shower stall. He got a slap for his troubles. At least Trey had refrained from screaming.

"I suppose I deserved that." He had smirked as he handed her the standard white towel she had borrowed from the linen closet.

Trey snatched the proffered cloth and hastily wrapped it around her body, ignoring the dripping water that was pooling in a puddle at her feet. If Vic slipped in the water that came off her soaked hair, well then he deserved that, too. "To what do I owe the pleasure of your preasance?" She asked in a snyde tone.

"Hell is breaking loose." He came right to the point. "Aros has declaired war on us. Anyone known to be a sympathizer has a bounty on thier heads. Hammet is at the fair grounds. The others will be meeting you there." Vic turned to go.

"Thanks for the information." Trey conceded grudgingly.

"That's my job." He answered over his shoulder. "Oh, and nice breasts."

"You have a death wish!" She roared after him.

Dressed all in black, Trey had made her way, catlike, over the rooftops of the tightly packed city. She had had a few close shaves - was even shot at by a crazy old lady who thought she was a burglar - not that Trey blamed the biddy. You could never be too careful these days. She had landed lightly on her feet when she had run out of buildings and sneaked across the street in between the street lamps, trying to find as many shadows to hide in as possible. Just as she had found a nice dark corner to hole up in to wait, she heard Olivia call out, then saw her crumple to the ground.

"I hope you appreciate that you're getting me dirty all over again." She muttered as she heafted Liv's body over her shoulder and carried her fireman style back into the shadows. Without many medical supplies available, just the few things Trey kept in her slim pack, she had to make do with what came to hand to patch up Liv. "You will owe me a new jacket if we survive this, just so you know." she whispered to the unconsious lady as she ripped her denim jacket into strips to use to hold her gause pads in place. She gave her analgesics and antibiotics, and anything else would have to wait till help arrived. Trey preyed for both their sakes that it arrived soon.
