This is the conduit between real life and your character within the game. Discuss anything you wish to here, as I am not hugely keen on Out-Of-Character posts within the RP. If you need someone's permission for something, post it here. I will be checking this thread every day hopefully, so I will be able to answer questions quickly and efficiently, I hope.

I know in "Legionnaries" that they have the colour coded team system but I just wondering if Justice City will have its own superhero teams, like the Teen Titans or the Avengers etc. Just wondering because I had an idea for a team styled hero RP a while back but I couldn't get pen to paper [So to speak] and I'm wondering if I'm able to try it out here.

If I have enough, then hopefully they will get split into teams after the first issue or so. The first couple of issues will be an introduction to each individual character, followed by a general meeting of all the characters.

I will hopefully be able to come up with witty and original names for these teams, but if not I may have to come back to you on them, Joko.
Glad you're loving the concept, hopefully some more people will sign up and then we can get this thing rolling.

Anyway my question pertains as to the setting of the RPG itself, you said the city was founded in 1960 and taken over by corporations in league with super-villains some time later, so basically my question is when is this set ? Well, simply, the year is 1999, and it will begin around August-time. There is a reason for this exact date, which will become apparent later on.

[SIZE=1]Like everyone else has said, nice RPG. You have to Jokopoko to thank (or maybe to blame) for telling me about it, though I haven't RPGed in awhile I still plan to sign up. I do have a question, though, about the superheroes. Are you looking for clichéd-type heroes (like Superman or something classic heroes would be a good name) or new, different heroes, something a little like Batman or Spawn, if Spawn even counts.

I plan to sign up pretty soon though it'll be next week, probably Tuesday or Wednesday... blame Jokopoko =p[/SIZE]

[size=1]Well, vicky, that is a question with many levels. First off, you can be a cliche hero [i]or [/i]a new-style, modern hero.

Ok, so I guess that was just one level. But seriously, you can choose to be an old-style, cliche 1960s-style hero, but the more modern heroes are likely to make fun of you with your gaudy costumes and old-time valour and heroics. So you can make a character like that, but be aware that times change.

Also, something I probably should have mentioned, I'm not only looking for the Superman/X-Men/Spiderman type of hero, you can also choose to be an anti-hero, someone maybe without any powers, like the Punisher or Blade, but I don't want too many of those, as this is primarily a super-hero RP.

[color=teal][size=1]As a sort of follow up to my previous post this also has a team theme to it. I know that during the actual RP you may sort us into groups for the various Issues but I'm wondering about teams the players themselves set up. For example seeing as my character is allied with the United States Government they may send down another of their agents or what not [This being another character] would they be able to make their own team as part of the colour coded group they're in.

Examples are: The Fantastic Four, Alpha Flight, The X-Men and so on.

[size=1]Ah, I understand now. Well, there can be teams set up in Justice City, similar to how the Avengers etc. are set up in other hero universes. If you wish to create one of these teams, then please PM me with specifics, and I will make a post telling others of any teams created.

Then they will be able to choose whether or not to join one of these teams, but I will put a limit of, say, three people per team, as I want some variation between characters. Basically, I want people to be in different teams, so there can be some rivalry between hero teams, and even some hero battles.

[color=teal][size=1]Well given that Wraith has said we can make some Hero Teams I figure here is a good place to try and set up one of them. The team name I've choosen is [b]Phalanx[/b], their main purpose is to defend the residents of Justice City and the usual Hero things but unlike many Hero teams they're part of the United States Secret Service, unoffically of course.

So this means that while on the surface we'd appear to be your average run-of-the-mill team we get backing, funding and all that from the Government. So that might mean the U.S. Government might want us to do something in Justice City for them, ranging from taking out a corporate fat-cat or even silencing a Hero/Vigilante that the Government isn't happy with.

But then there's the problem of their being too many characters in teams and none of them being solo. I think if there are going to be more teams than just Phalanx there should only be one or two more. [color=teal][size=1]Just need to step in and defend my team here. Wraith didn't create this team, I did. I'm the one with control over KKC but obviously I need to clear things Wraith in terms of storyline and all that. We're not just a "CIA Team", we're a Hero team working alongside , or with, the U.S. Government so we sometimes do their dirty work for them so they don't get heat for doing it.

N/B: Too those who have requested membership in Phalanx it is currently myself and Citrus, before getting another member I have a question for Wraith: Is it three plus me or just a total of three?[/size][/color]

And Joko, the number of people who are in Phalanx is three [b]including [/b]yourself. So you can take one more as well as Citrus.

After much deliberation on AIM, Joko (Will) and I have come to a conclusion of who will be in our Phalanx group. It wasn't easy, as much people wanted to be in the group. But one person did seem to fit in smoothly within our group.

The structure of Justice City will be in Issues. A warning now: not everyone will be involved in every issue. This first issue involves everyone, but I believe the next issue will only feature characters who are a part of [b]Phalanx[/b], that's [b]Jokopoko, Citrus [/b]and [b]Domon.[/b]

Don't worry, though, I will make sure everyone has a fair time with posting, and there should be a few issues where everyone is involved.

Anyway, that's about all for now, if there are any questions then please don't hesitate to pos them here. I don't want any OOC's within the actual thread.

Oh, yes, also, as soon as I have come up with a story to open it, I will begin the Justice City Library, and I will probably charge someone else with sorting out the Art Studio threads. If anyone is able to sort these out then please PM me.
