Naiya thought for a moment, leaning back on her 'chair'. Suddenly she shot up straight, eyes widened a bit. [COLOR=RoyalBlue]"I believe we'll need the help of a disciple, especially if we want to be turned back. Some one that can help us take down everything these poeple stand for behind that mask of golden shine and perfect glory..."[/COLOR]

[COLOR=RoyalBlue]"Can't you 'convince' one or two of them with that singing?" [/COLOR] Menae asked.

[COLOR=RoyalBlue]"Yes, it'd be very difficult to mantain, even if attemped on just one...But I think we need something more sure. It's too easy to tell who is under my spell and who isn't. We wouldn't get far."[/COLOR]

"unless of course a disciple was forced into discipleness brainwashed then thats perfect ammo to get them on our side maybe we could find one like that and you can use your singing to make them remember" Menae said

If they want to remember everything about their past, I can help."[/COLOR] She moved around a little bit more, she always hated staying in once spot for too long at a time on most days. [I]'But where are we going to find somebody like that?'[/I]

Mori scoffed inwardly as she made her way through the city, she had only one more person she could pruify at the moment, though she made a point of marking down those who seriously needed it. She would definately get rid of all that have shown signs of impurity. Then she saw her third victim, she stood out in the crowd. A grin of malice flashed across her face.

Kineya struggled against the uncomfortable caged.

"Could someone be as kind to allow me to strech my wings. I usually get out twice a day." She said ruffled and ticked off. How could they just stand the racket she was making? She beat her wings as best she could against the cage.

"HELLO!" She bellowed at the Disciples below. "I know you assholes can hear me. Let me out!" They ignored her still. It blew her mind. She wasn't to be ignored. Then she felt the flame wrap itself around her quite large body, her blue feathers turning reddish gold, then black as it turned to ash. She cooed softly, her eye twitching. Only when the Disciples couldn't hear her, she knew that she was turning back into her baby bird form. Unthreatening, cute some would say...and a bit ugly. She had a couple more hours until she reached her 'adolescent' form and a couple of days before she reached her 'adult' form. Her eye twitched again.

"so Azuroth are you in" Menae asked turning to the Chimera she noticed his muscles rippling she was glad at the fact dragons couldnt blush at the moment or she would be she turned around and dipped her head in the water her tail lying on the bank of the pound

[COLOR=DarkGreen][SIZE=1]Azuroth looked to the dragon.

"Of course I'm in. I don't like having my mind split three different ways."[/B] He stretched his body and his wings.

"This phoinex girl sounds like she can be of use."[/B] He looked to the sprite.

"Your voice."[/B] He then looked to the dragon.

"Your strategy and my strength we could get out of here and get the others with eas. I'm ready to do this."[/B] Azuroth sat down, staying completely motionless like a staute.[/SIZE][/COLOR]

[COLOR=RoyalBlue]"Sounds like a plan to me, but when?"[/COLOR] Naiya nodded, then giggled delicately to herself. She dived in the water, and placed herself next to the dragon's ear for only her to hear. [COLOR=RoyalBlue]"Does Menae have a crush? That's so cute!"[/COLOR] She grinned from ear to ear. [COLOR=RoyalBlue]"I can tell you know."[/COLOR]

"Shut up!, Just shut up! he's too old for me anyways" she said as her head came above the water "I think we should start soon maybe in a day or so" she said as she went back under holding her breath she was good at holding her breath she could talk under water as long she gave up her fire power for an hour after

[COLOR=DarkGreen][SIZE=1]Azuroth remained in his sitting position, watching both the sprite and the dragon as they spoke.

"So we now have the time and who will be involved, now I think we should know what the plan is exactly before we repeat my mistakes."[/B] He waited for them to respond, eagerly waiting for the plan that would make him human once more. But making sure he did not express the feeling openly.[/SIZE][/COLOR]

Naiya crossed her small arms and drew her face into a sort of pout look as she thought for a moment. [COLOR=RoyalBlue]"I can sing, getting some to open the gate, and taking awareness away so that much of the disciples will stand there looking like puppets. Once out of range they'd be back to normal, so somebody needs to knock 'em out on the way. I can't fly as fast as the to of you can probably go...so I'll have to sit on somebody's shoulder something of the sort. That leaves my last thing. You both need a way to drown out the sound of my voice so that I cannot affect the two of you with it. Knowing the way, it'll be a quick run to the Pheonix. Getting her out should be a fairly simply task...And then the blanks we may have to fill in on the way."[/COLOR]

"I dont know about him but as I told you before I get immune the more I hear it or thats the case here" Menae said
"so if you sing wake me up and sing again sooner or later I'll get immune to it" she said "but other than that I cant think of a way to not hear you I have an accute sesne of hearing so I hear most things preety easily and its hard to drown out stuff for me" she said

Naiya crossed her tiny arms and looked down at the reflections in the water. [COLOR=RoyalBlue]"I have an idea...be right back."[/COLOR] She dove down into the lake water, swimming all the way to the bottom. The temperature grew colder as she traveled, but never near a freezing point. Looking around, she gasped in delight at finding what she saught.

Carrying a few shells that were covered on the inside by a pale mossy substance, the sprite broke the surface again to hand both creatures little hand-made earmuffs. [COLOR=RoyalBlue]"My song isn't always for sleep, and no matter how long I spent with you you would not become completely immune to it. There are just too many songs. So I made you guys earmuffs. I know, not very flattering style wise...but it'll keep my voice out of your head without obstructing any other noise."[/COLOR]

"Why didn't you subdue the dragon as you were told?" Chains stood silently in front of MindWraith. "You saw what happened. It quelled itself--there was no reason for me to get involved." MindWraith turned a page in the ancient tomb in front of him. Reading in the dark, as always. "I saw you stop when you reached the ground. Something caught you off guard. What was it?" Chains was silent for a moment. "Don't hide this from me, Chains." Warned MindWraith. "I'm showing you a great deal of respect by not searching your mind myself." Actually, MindWraith already knew the reason behind Chains' hesitation. He wandered the corridors of his mind freely now--his mind did belong to MindWraith now, didn't it?

"A...sprite." Chains admitted. "I caught a glimpse of one, before I approached the dragon. You yourself told me to be wary of its song, and finding myself asleep at the jaws of a raging beast did not sound...intelligent."

MindWraith nodded solemnly. Chains spoke again, stepping forward. "How can I protect myself from this? I can't quite quell a dragon while under a damn fairy's command, can I?"

"Calm down, Chains." Said MindWraith. "I'll look into devising protection myself. In the meantime, you can probably resist its song at least partially by becoming transparent. And don't forget your will training--it can buy you at least a few minutes against the sprite's melody." Chains nodded, and folded his arms. "I don't like those three being in the same cage together. It could cause trouble."

"That will take time, to find empty cages for the chimera and the dragon, and the manpower experienced enough to transport them."

"How much time?"

"A week, maybe more, maybe less. It all depends. I think it would be a good idea for you to take head of security of that particular sector, for the time being." MindWraith said, turning another page.

"What?!" Chains asked angrily. "Head of security? I'm a hunter! I can't be bothered with babysitting!"

"You can, and you will." MindWraith commanded. Chains started to say something else, but thought better of it. "Alright. Fine." Chains nodded once, then turned to walk out of MindWraith's lair.

Chains walked about the farm, gazing in at the impures in their cages. "You there." He called to a disciple walking with a wheelbarrow of raw meat. "Are you in charge of feeding these beasts?" The disciple nodded, trying to show as much respect as he could. It wasn't often a hunter remained at a farm. "I want you to mix gunpowder into the meat. Enough to keep these animals drugged. Understand?"

The Disciple nodded. "Yes sir."

Menae was getting hungry as the food disciple broght the raw meat for her and Azuroth and whatever Naiya ate she took a gulp of raw meat she suddenly felt strange as the taste of gunpowder started in her mouth she got wozzy gunpowder was like a bad drug to dragons she staggered and fell over knocked out cold

[COLOR=DarkGreen][SIZE=1]Azuroth scarffed down his meat, ignoring the taste of gunpowder and watching the dragon fall over. He felt wuzzy himself and looked around.

"Whats that taste?"[/B] He said as he tasted of the gunpowder overwhelmed his senses.

"Ahh crap."[/B] He said just before he thudded to the ground.[/SIZE][/COLOR]

Naiya was never more happy to the fact she didn't eat raw meat...except maybe seafood. But she also had started eating, not as much of her meal as the others, but just enough to feel effects from the gunpowder.

The water grew colder, the sprite trying to keep herself awake by splashing her face with the now icey water. It wasn't working. Returning the temperature to its normal nuetral state Naiya fluttered clumsily over toward Menae and Azuroth, not able to wake them up either. [I]'Will...not...give in,'[/I] she thought determinedly, seaching her mind for any favorable options. Time ran out. Reaching her water flower, Naiya passed out for a fairly brief amount of time.

Chains surveyed the drugged animals with bitter content, paying close attention to the animals who had broken out earlier. "The sprite must be asleep." Chains said to the former head of security. "We should take this time to do something about her voice." The second of security paused. "We could use Gerhass powder to tighten her throat." Chains snorted. "That would [I]close[/I] her throat, and kill her. If I wanted her dead, I'd just walk in and step on her."

There was a long silence, as the second of security pondered another idea. "If we only use a little, are you sure it would kill-"

"Are you sure you were ever qualified to be the head of security?!" Chains snapped. He sighed, pushing his long bangs out of his face. "I hate to waste the opportunity, but there's nothing we can do. Reinforce the interior of the cage, and gather about three men to come with me. I want to inspect the dragon and chimera."

The gate swung open, and Chains and a dozen Disciples entered. A few carried steel bars to reinforce the cage with, and the others nervously carried shock sticks in fear of the chimera waking up. Chains made sure to pick the disciples who had been attached by it before, in order to keep them on their toes.

Chains kneeled down by the chimera, nudging the heads around in order to inspect it better. The snake head hissed once, tired and sluggishly, and then thumped to the ground again. "Where have I seen you before?" Chains mumbled to himself. He was sure he hadn't purified this one, but still...

Chains nudged a foreleg of the dragon to inspect its claws. It was pity he couldn't just clip the damn things. "Sir!" Shouted one of the disciples. "We can't find the sprite." Chains looked around the cell. The disciple was right--she wasn't sleeping on the ground. "Stand by the door. If you hear anything at all, slam the door shut and phase through the bars." Chains shined a light on the pool. "She's probably just sleeping at the bottom, but keep alert anyways. Unless you fancy becoming snacks."

the disciple that put Nae in the cage appraoched chains she was known as soothsayer
"greetings chains new head of secrity I am the head of secuirty of cage 4B the dragons former cage I was sent to help you" she said looking at the knocked out beast
"sp anything I can do" she said
"and the sprite is on the lillypad" she said
"anything I can do to help" she said

[Nothing]

Chains examined the lillypad, and saw that she had been correct. He then looked over the soothsayer with a wary eye. "Head of security? Who authorized it?"

"Both Vlad and MindWraith." The soothsayer responded. Chains nodded. If MindWraith authorized it, he had nothing to worry about. "I'd like to get these beasts behind some descent cages, which is going to take quite a while. While I'm occupied here, ask the morning patrol for his report on the rest of the compound. And send a Disciple down to medbay, to check on the disciples who were injured in the breakout."

"One of the disciples was fatally wounded by the dragon, of that I'm sure." Said the soothsayer. Chains nodded. "Do you happen to know where the Chimera was held before he was transferred here?" The soothsayer shook her head. "No, but I can find out. I believe this particular chimera has a... history, of attacking disciples."

"Find out as much as you can on the three."

Soothsayer returned
"The sprite has been pretty calm untill recently, the chimera has as i said attacked mutliple disciples and the dragon has only attacked one disciple but has tried to escape over 100 times" she said
if you wish I can get construstion of cages in the speacil warehouse and they will be done by next week' she said

[Nothing]

Chains shook his head in contempt. "If they were all as primally ignorant as her last one, then the beast may very well try a hundered more times before she makes it out of her cage." He turned towards the soothsayer. "Do you have those reports for me?"

"Yes sir." The soothsayer handed Chains a thin packet of detailed reports on the compound. He took them, and flipped through with little interest. Something strange caught his eye. "Misery?" He asked.

"Nobody knows why." The soothsayer began to explain. "When the dragon broke free and the chimera made a run for it, the avons and the felines began...crying in harmony. It was the strangest thing any of the guards had ever encountered. Some of the disciples who could understand the beasts, said they were chanting the word 'misery.' Even the avon in solitary began." Chains stood silent for a long while, processing this. He then handed the packet back to the soothsayer. "Give this to MindWraith."

"Sir?" Oh, right. Chains had forgotten that he was the only disciple who knew where to find MindWraith when she wasn't hunting. "Just...drop it off at the entrance to the compound." He thought for a moment, and added, "And don't worry about going to the warehouse, we have everything we need here. We're just reinforcing the current protection. And at this rate, we should be done by morning. That is, if these beasts don't wake up."

The soothsayer nodded and went on her way. Chains closed his eyes, and felt MindWraith crawl into his mind. [I]"This is a waste of valuable time, Chains. Nothing you're doing effects these beasts directly, and will mean less than nothing if they escape the compound."[/I] MindWraith said into his mind.

[i]I'm well aware of this.[/i] Responded Chains, taking out a short knife. [i]But I have something just for that.[/i] He lifted the chimera's arm, and cut a small, penny-length slit into its armpit. He removed a small plastic bag from his pocket, and dumped two microchips into his hand. [i]"GPS?"[/i] MindWraith pondered. [i]"Oh, Chains, you have been clever."[/i] Chains smiled to himself, and placed the microchip inside. He then placed a cream over the wound, sealing it, and masking it almost completely.

The soothsayer returned just after Chains had finished doing the same to the dragon.

[COLOR=DarkGreen][SIZE=1]Azuroths eyes started to flutter open, the snake head and vulter remained down but their eyes were openeing too. He made them stay down while he watched the disiple. He saw the disiple do something to the dragon. Azuroth closed his eyes quickly as he saw the disiple turning back around. He cracked his eye open barely. He could hear the other disiples hustling around in their pen.

' Come one, I just need one of you to get close enough.'[/I] Azuroth thought to himself as he listened closely to the footsteps of the disiples. Suddenly he heard a pair of feet walking behind him. He heard the crackling of a shock stick and knew it was one of those disiples he had attacked on his way out. The snake head cracked one of its yellow eyes open and saw he was close enough.

A second later Azuroth jumped to his feet and the snake head lashed out and grabbed the disiples arm. He screamed in pain and the snake head yanked him under Azuroth. Azuroth placed one paw on his chest and held the other up. Chains and Soothsayer saw it and watched.

"Let us go or i'll kill him."[/B] The disiple under Azuroths paw had a terrifying look in his eyes and the experssion on his face. Azuroth kept his blank, the snake head adding to the mans terror as it slither up his body and stopping below his face and flicking its tounge at him. The vulter head watching the other disiples that suddenly became aware of what was going on. Chains looked at him.

"Do it."[/B] Soothsayer moved closer to him.
[B]
"What are you doing?"[/B] Soothsayer asked without taking his eyes off of Azuroth. Chains responded with a blank face.

"He won't do it."[/B] Soothsayer elbowed him in the side.

"If he has to he will. He was sent here for purification because he attacked disiples trying to purify people."[/B] Chains kept his face blank but started to doubt what he said. Azuroth watched them.

"Change us back to human form and let us go. Never hunting us again and he lives. Other wise I can't promise his safe return to your ranks disiple."[/B] Chains took a step closer.
[B]
"What are you going to do? Need him to death? Lick him until he laughes to death? Your just a giant kitty cat. You can't do anything."[/B] Azuroth knew what he was trying to do, he had fallen for this trick the first day he was here. Not again.

"I can crush his skull in. Or smash in his lungs or ribs. I could tear him apart with my three heads or I could cut him open and bleed him out. Or I can take him up into the air and drop him. It's your pick. The long this takes the, the more gruesome his death will be. I promise you that."[/B] Azuroth saw him take another step and roared swiping at him. Chains jumped back

"Stay back, both of you. I know some of you disiples have powers. You do anything, I'll rip him apart limb from limb."[/B] Azuroth watched the two in front of him, the vulter watching his sides and the snake had his back covered. He waited for their response.[/SIZE][/COLOR]

OOC: Don't worry, Apherion, we haven't forgotten your character.

[I]"We can't spare another disciple."[/I] MindWraith said into Chains' mind. "You can't run with a hostage on four legs. You must have realized this." Azuroth growled. "Change us back into humans, I said." Chains shook his head. He knew how this would end. Now he was just prolonging the inevitable. "That man's life is only worth so much. I cant change you back, to do so would mean finding the disciples who changed each of you. And each disciple has changed...hundreds."

The disciple in Azuroth's grasp yelped as the beast's grip tightened. "Do it." Chains flicked his bangs, keeping an air of cool apathy. "His life isn't worth the trouble." Chains tried to sense the chimera's emotion, but there was too much anger to see what Azuroth was thinking. Those eyes...Chains knew he had met this chimera before, but again he could not remember. "The three of you can go, and that's all."

"And you will not hunt us again?" Azuroth growled. Chains could tell he was weighing his options carefully, but beyond that this chimera remained a mystery.

"Like I said, I doubt you could run effectively with the disciple. And as soon as you abandon your hostage, my word means nothing. You know this."
