Azuorht thought about what he coudl do, he could carry the disiple in his mouth but that could possibly kill him and there goes his bargining chip. He could wait for the dragon to wake up and she could carry him. But they way the dragon went down she would be out for several more hours. He could wait for the sprite to wake up but she might not help if the situation didn't meet all of their needs.

His options were running thin and time was definatly not on his side. He also could not take his eyes off of these two or any other disiples. He didn't know which ones had powers and which ones didn't, he didn't risk that one. He knew the disiple was right about how his word was no longer good with out the disiple. He was out of options, he was about to let go when and idea had hit him. He didn't show it but it was something that would benifet them all later on.

"Alright, you win disiple. Under one condition." Chains looked at him.

"Alright. We'll hear the condition and we'll see. Now what is it?" Azuroth looked them over, making sure they wouldn't pull anything.

"I want you to transfer one more creatuer into our pen." Chains kept his face straight.

"Which one?"

"The phoniex. Transfer her here and I will let him go."

"And stop trying to kill us?"

"That I can't promise. You never know when my animal instincts will take over." Azuroth pushed harder on the disiple, his chest about to give away.

"Do we have a deal?" Azuroth asked waiting for the answer, keeping the intense pressuer on the disiple incase he had to kill him.

Damn. Chains knew it would come to this, though the extra condition suprised him. A phoenix? Was there even a phoenix on this compound? Yes, Chains remembered. In its child form, he thought. But why would the phoenix be important to the chimera? Then Chains remembered the chant. Misery. Perhaps this could work for Chains. "Fine, I can agree to that." He signaled a disciple. "Release the phoenix by the front gate." He turned to Azuroth. "I suspect that's where the exchange will be made."

"Not until the dragon and the sprite are awake." Azuroth said. Chains sighed. This was beginning to wear on his nerve. He should have never trusted such low class disciples for something like this. "No. No more waiting." He signaled another disciple. "Smelling salts. Now." A minute later, the dragon's eyelids parted halfway. It seemed to tired to think, but Azuroth was successful in nudging it to its feet. Azuroth gently laid the sprite on the back of his neck, seeing as the smelling salt would probably suffocate the little thing.

Naiya stired a little, then opened her eyes. She had been half asleep and half awake through some of the before conversation. "I hate smelling salts..." she muttered looking around at the disciples with unmasked contempt. Her eyes fell on Chains. He looked like he was in charge of this little...the tiny sprite fluttered over and hovered infront of his face, glaring. Some of the others either clamped their hands over their ears or took a step back.
"Don't even try singing," he warned.

Naiya shook her head. "Don't worry, I have no intention to...although I have half a mind to send you all to the bottom of the lake after drugging the food like that." she was more than little upset, that if she were to have finished eating, it would have been a lethal dose. Instead, she brought her hand up and smacked Chains before going off with a 'hmph' and sitting on Menae's head. "I got most of this little deal being set up...anything unfavorable to the three of us and I will not be so calm and complying."

Nae awoke glaring at chains then at soothsayer she filled with rage but Azuroth stopped her explaining the situation "fine I'll got with that, but the diciple who put me here is right there" she said glaring at soothsayer
"So deliver the phoniex and then leave and if I see her again i'm gonna tear her to pieces right after she transforms me back" she said

Azuroth looked Menae.

"Were not getting changed back yet. I could only get one condition out of the disiple, that was to get the phoniex put into our pen." Azuroth turned back to Chains.

"Well? Where is she?" Chains gestuered to the entry ay and they were carring a baby bird in their hands. Azuroth raised one eyebrow and looked to Menae.

"That her?" The dragon nodded. Azuroth turned back to Chains.

"Bring her here to me and your disiple will go free." Chains nodded and quickly mostioned for them to bring him the bird. They placed it infront of him and he lifted his paw off of the disiple and took a step back. He got up quickly and ran off. Azuroth watched him leave.

"Good, now get out before I get hungry." Chains nodded and the others disiples bolted out of their. Chains and soothsayer walked out slowly. Azuroth followed but from a good distance to make them feel safe. Even thought they weren't. He sat down as they stepped out of the pen and the door was about to close azuroth spoke.

"Good to see you again, Derrikait." The door closed and Azuroth returned back to the others.

Chains blinked stupidly. Did he just call him...Derrikait? He couldn't have...

He noticed MindWraith, suddenly, behind him. "This was a fault of your pride. You must realize this." Chains swallowed his confusion. "I know."

"You were expecting one of them to wake up, weren't you?"

"No, I didn't think they'd be up for the rest of the day."

"A measurement based on what, Chains?" Chains stood silent. "Wishful thinking?" MindWraith asked. He was right. He had been cocky, too sure that everything would go just the way he had planned. He had become too accustomed to having complete control. "I want to hunt them alone." Said Chains. "To make up for my mistakes. I want to bring them back." MindWraith pondered this. "You may hunt them, but I will send out a hunting party, as procedure."

"But-"

"Chains, you are in no place to argue! This is your mistake, noone elses. I cannot leave this situation to you, as I can no longer tell how capable you are." Chains looked at the ground. MindWraith was right. He should have entered the beasts cave alone. He had put lives at risk where none were necessary. MindWraith turned his penetrating glare onto the Soothsayer. "You may choose your assignment, for I care not." With that she turned and walked away, leaving Chains alone in his regret.

Derrikait...

he remembered being called that, once.

and immediately, he wished to remember nothing at all.

Naiya giggled from her perched, she couldn't help it. The others looked at her as if she went crazy, but the tiny sprite just shook her head as she stopped to catch her breath. "I don't mean anything by it, it's just..." She had to supress another giggle. "Menae, remember when we disgusing the posibility of gaining a disciple's help in an endeavor to bring down this place?"

The dragon nodded. "Well," Naiya grinned from pointed ear to pointed ear. "I think we've found a likely candidate." She turned toward the Chimera, noting the two different names the particular disciple seemed to have. "Azuroth, did he remember you? When here...Mr. Chains looked like he was struggling to place a familiar face."

She couldn't help the state of happiness she was in, the thought of finally getting out of here in a hopefully sucessful, well planned escape attempt was too much of an event for her. "We should invite him back for pleasant chats more often..." Naiya looked at the pheonix, noting mildly what stage of her life the bird was in and frowned. When it reached the 'adult stage', they might have room problems. That would be the perfect time to strike...if they could whip up a sufficient plan by then.

Menae grinned
"Naiya your a genius" she said
"I would hug you but i dont want to kill you" she said
"we just need him to get suspoiiouse of the other disciples" she said
"Azuroth can you keep calling him that" she said as she started to draw out a plan in the dirt
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Soothsayer was walking to the other end of the cage to do her rounds in the one next door
"Mindwraith blames me for the scerw up almost as much as he does chains" she said mumbling she returned to her quaters and looked at a picture of chains she had on her nightstand she kissed it and sighed getting dressed and going to sleep

Azuroth nodded his head.

"Of course I can calling him by his real name. He always seemed to stir up a bit when someone uses it." Azuroth watched as the sprite and the dragon formed a better plan in thie minds. He watched the phoenix as it grew slowly into it's adult form once more.

Nae smiled
"THey didnt call me a hypographic fool" she said smiling
"if we can lure him back here again and again stirring up his suspisions every time you use his real name sooner or later he'll be so paranoid that he'd be very vunerable to Naiya's song and he'd be ours and then soothsayer will be ours too, did you see how she looked at him she digs him" she said she smilied and countied working in the dirt

Naiya giggled lightly to herself as she fluttered around adding little things here and there to Menae's diagram. She hadn't been throughout the rest of the compound before and was trying to memorize the crude layout for further references. "Well, if we just spread out from here?what we'll need to do is be able to open the other pens very quickly. There'll be less of a successful reaction from the disciples with we keep strike quick and hard, hopefully not in such a predictable manner they can trap us."

Menae grinned
"Naiya your brilliant" she said smiling as they together drew multiple plans and maps in the dirt chattering about the plans the only thing she was worried about was the mountains in the cage parrel to this one where most dragons were kept together because dragons who find mates they become selfish and dont care about anybody but themselves she sighed counting their plan
