I've been a fan since "Clint Eastwood" actually. I discovered them a couple winters ago when I had a snow day. If it wasn't for that, I don't think I would have heard of them until now like a lot of people.

I think my new favorite song off of Demon Days at the moment would be "November Has Come." I'm not a big fan of rap, but I do like this song. A close second would be "Fire Coming Out of the Monkey's Head." That's pretty good.

Any others?

Many moons ago, little bear and young wolf were on a perilous journey, leaving I, squatting panda home with mama monkey and papa smurf. That day, mama monkey and I were enthralled by an animated video which was humurous and entertaining. Over the passing moons, little bear and young wolf would learn of such video and come to adore such verbal expressions as =Clint Eastwood= =19/2000= and =Rock the House=. The self titled album was purchsed, but our young minds were numb to the melodies of The Gorillaz and we paid no mind to the album for the most part.

But then, on an eve of majesty, the video for =Fell Good Inc.= came on. Ah, what a glorious day, and even more glorious when young wolf's friend burned me a copy of the CD! Ah, the passing moons were encaptured within the graso of Demon Days and, quite frankly, it;s all I frikkin listen to. And, only 3 weeks ago, I found my self titled copy and now I'm frikkin brimming with golden joy.

Favorite tracks:

=Clint Eastwood=
=Double Bass=
=M 1 A 1=
=Starshine= (this was actually their first single, I believe)
=Kids With Guns=
=Dirty Harry= (named after a Clint Eastwood film)
=El' Manana=
=All Alone=

I myself have been a huge fan of the Gorillaz since "Clint Eastwood" debuted. I loved loved LOVED 2D and in fact I think I still am. I could never figure out what it was about him that I loved, but I discovered what it was this week. And I'll NEVER tell. But my current song is definately "DARE." Oh my HOLY GOODNESS I can't stop listening to that song for the life of me. And the video is very fun.

I've been a Gorillaz fan for a while now. I remember when I first got their self titled album. It was the only CD that I'd listen to. I really liked the songs Dracula, Rock Da House, Clint Eastwood, 19/2000, and M1 A1. I also enjoyed Demon Days, but not to the extent of their self titled album. Their sound was really different on Demon Days. Nevertheless, Demon Days was still a great album. I really hope their next CD sound more like their self titled one.

A Gorillaz thread!! w00T!! XD

Yeah, the Gorillaz are, by far, my most favorite band and prolly the only one that I listen to nowdays. I have two albums: The one with the jeep and Demon Days. I listen to those two everyday because the Gorillaz rule!! My favorite songa are:

19/2000
Hash
Dracula
Tomorrow Comes Today
Clint Eastwood
Rock the House
Rock It
Are We the Last Living Souls?
Kids With Guns
Dirty Harry
El Manana
White Light
Don't Get Lost in Heaven
Fire Coming Out of the Monkey's Head

And my two most favorite song are:
Feel Good Inc.: Gosh, I just love the lyrics and the music video..I was in awe. I also liked Noodle, 2D and Murdoc..yeah, Murdoc did look pretty sexy in tht one. XD And Feel Good. Inc. music video did make me realize why I love 2D so much..he looked so sad and alone in that place....and he did look kind of cute. >u< I always love his accent. I <3 2D forever. XD

And:
DARE: OMG!! How can you not love that song and music video?! It's the coolest and has the most awesome beat. I totally laughed when I saw Noodle dancing because it looked so funny! And then I saw Russle using the bathroom and 2D trying to listen to what she's doing from upstairs. I totally love that one

Well, all in all, the Gorillaz is a totally awesome band and I can't wait to buy their new album. It has 2D and Noodle on it!! Yay!! XD

I used to listen to them alot more, so I've forgotten a heckuva lot of songs I used to like. I still do love them though, and I've really been meaning to buy the new album. Noodle is such a cutesicle ^__^

And I, like most others, have been a fan since Clint Eastwood.

I think my favourite songs (that I can remember off the top of my head) were... shoeshine something or other, clint eastwood, and Dare. I really need to download more =P

For some reason, that beat is addicting.

I have their old album and I loved their old songs and I'm glad they came back. I really need to pick up their new album, I really like both their new singles because even though they have the same uniqueness the songs are a bit different then I'm use to hearing from them. "Dare" is definately different. I'm in love it.

Consider me evil but I havn't listened to a whole Gorillaz track. But I ought to let you guys no something that your probably missed....

The Gorillaz made a debut at the virtual hotel gamed entitled "Habbo Hotel". They made their own character and went around at organized times to host events like trivia and all that jazz.

It was actually really exciting, since I worked for Habbo, so we decided to do it again. The next time with Ashley Simpson. But anyways...

Habbo Hotel gave out prizes such as free CD's, signed t-shirts, etc. Very exciting.

Severly underrated. A supreme blend of rock and hip-hop to the finest extent. El Manana, Every Planet We Reach Is Dead, and November Has Come are just a few examples of the quality of this wonderful band's latest album. It's been in my car for a while now. Listen to it every chance I get.

Russel's the man. XD He's almost definitely my favorite of them, with Murdoc coming in second purely because during the Be A Star competition they hosted on their site a while back, one of his critiques was, "You know, I can actually fire olives out of my todger. You think I should enter? Heh heh. I might win. Heh heh heh."

If anyone really likes the hip-hop end of Gorillaz, you might want to check out a rapper named Del tha Funkee Homosapien. He's the voice of Russel. He's also done a collaboration with Kid Koala and Dan the Automator called Deltron 3030, which you'll definitely like if you like Gorillaz. If you're interested but can't find anything on the internet, hit me up on AIM.
