Discuss Sin City RP idea

[size=1]Having just watched the marvel that is Sin City yesterday, I have become slightly obssessed. And while I was obssessing with how brilliant the move actually is, I thought of creating an RP based around it.

I thought of doing for Sin City what Kill Adam did for Kill Bill, taking a movie and rewriting the story for my own ends.

But I could not possibly do this alone, as I haven't even come up with a story yet. So this thread is basically asking: would you be interested in a Sin City RP, bearing in mind that it would be a Kill Adam-style remake?

And:

Is there anyone who would be willing to help with the co-creation of this RP? This also has a limit: you have to have seen the movie or know at least a little about Sin City, whether it is the comic books or the movie itself.

Also, if anyone could come up with some ideas for storylines, then that would be great, please post them here as well.

[SIZE=1]I'm good with storylines!! Thats my specialty you know. But, I havn't watched the movie. I am going to rent the movie then tonight so I can conjure some storylines for you. So along with Ezkiel I think all three of us can create a RP that will blow th OB away!

[size=1]Thank you both for expressing interest. I think that if all three of us work together (and I may have even gotten Jokopoko interested as well) then we can create something pretty special.

If you feel that it would be tricky to work this out over PM, then send me one and I'll give you any IM addresses that you can use.

Anyway, I'm thinking that this is going to be a fairly large project (not to mention that I have a pretty huge project underway in the form of Justice City), so it will probably have to be planned pretty thoroughly, so it is likely that it won't be up for a month at least, maybe more.

So, any help in planning this would be much appreciated.

Firstly is after reading that I'm wondering if we're all for creating new characters to populate Basin City or whether we'd rather take on current ones and carry on their stories, retro-actively if they're dead of course. Examples could be how Marv came to look the way he is or [spoiler]what Roark actually went through to become That Yellow Bastard.[/spoiler]

Another way to deal with the current characters is to make the stories not seen in the first film and make them RPish, though this would obviously restrict what we could do given the stories are already there and finished.

I noticed on the WikiArticle that there's also a plethora of minor characters we could use for stories. Examples could be [spoiler]why Bob became corrupt, a closer look at The Salesman or a similar look at Miho[/spoiler], the list goes on. Just my first few cents into what will become a veritable gold mine of ideas and plots for this RP.[/size][/color]

[size=1]Well, I was thinking of having entirely new characters, with a couple of cameos from existing characters. I have written out a storyline, which both Citrus and Ezekiel seem to like, so I can PM it to you if you want to have a closer look.

I was planning to watch the movie in just a couple of days with my friends anyways. I will try and help to my best ability for now, but it might be limited since I have caught Pnemonia recently and am bed ridden for the next couple of days. [size=1]Ikillion, I would be happy to have you involved in this. To everyone interested, Sin City will be up in the Inn very shortly. I just have to sort out a couple of things with Justice City and then I will make a start on it. I have devised a storyline that I think will be most interesting for everyone involved.

So, I guess my last estimate of having a month before it goes up was a little generous to myself, I just have to sort out some things for the first chapter and then it will be up.

Just thought I'd give you all a heads-up.
