OOC: I figured we'd start out the morning after the even on the sign-up sheet. Here goes!

Chris shoved his hands in his coat pockets for warmth as he made his way through the parking lot and towards the many tall buildings that made up Blair High School. After a shower and a cup of coffee, he had forgotten completely that he had killed a man just ten hours ago.

Chris entered the main campus and sat down at one of the many quaint bench areas that pepperd the sidewalks connecting the academic buildings. He still had a good twenty minutes or so before the bell rang.

Before Chris could take out a book to glance at, he was hailed from a distance by someone he didnt quite recognize.

"Hi there Chris, You're here early." The figure was Tommy Callack, Chris' schoolmate and pleasant aquaintance. Chris liked Tommy; he was bright, kind, and most importantly he minded his business.

"Tommy! How are ya' man?" Chris extended his hand to Tommy but remained seated. Tommy shook it heartily and plopped down on the bench beside Chris.

"Just tired from that damn history essay. I was up all night finishing it. How bout you, the same?"

"Yeah," agreed Chris with a smirk. "Last night was murder."

OOC: Sorry for the shortness, but I didn't want to load the beginning with too much info. That can sometimes lead to barriers.

"Tori Aleise," she whispered under her breath as she listened to her MP3. "The gray girl. The psycho. The skitziod." She laughed quietly and quickly. Stiffling the noise with a fear that someone was following her. She looked around nervously and continued to walked around the perimeter of the school. If people did indeed need to know that she was crazy, sneaking up on her was the way to rouse her counter-part out of submission.

She had people come up to her days after she had slashed her wrists and ask what the bandages were for. She'd just go all off on them. She'd flip out and ask them why they were asking stupid questions.

"I cut my damn wrists! Now leave me alone to my peace." Her voice would be awfully loud at first, but it would dwindle down into a soft whisper. The whisper would sound defeated, unlike the rash words from the beginning. She closed her eyes, remembering the first time she had cut.

The cold knife from the kitchen's knife drawer was poised in her left hand as she sat on the cold tile floor. Her clothes was thin and the coolness from the floor made her shiver. She pressed the knife to her skin, feeling the cold silver against her slightly warm flesh. She pushed the knife into her skin, breaking it. The warmth of her blood and the cool of the blade sent shivers running up and down her back. It was pleasure without her losing her virginity. It was her sex, her release. She smiled softly, her parents would increase the therapy lessons if and when they found out.

She turned off the MP3 player and stowed it carefully inside her purse. She unlocked her locker and pulled out her two library books and her fattest journal. She had first period off, so she would read and write during that time. When she'd read, she'd get ideas, and when she got ideas, she'd write the sentences down before the words could flit away like hummingbirds. Her own little solitude would unfold if the demoness inside her would stay supressed.

"Damn, I don't wanna go ta class?" Antonia grumbled looking at her watch as she sauntered up to the high school. Yea, there was still plenty of time before the bell rang, but that didn't make it any less imposing. Snapping her gum, the girl checked the battery life on her CD player. She was a bit partcial to the CD's even though they were outdated in technology in regards to Mp3 players and Ipods. 'Damn, this thing goes through batteries faster then an SUV goes through gas.' Her head was still a little off from drinking the night before, even after taking triple the recommended dose of your average over-the-counter headache reliever.

She could see people chatting, every noise and light making her head throb even more. This place was a nightmare, going to some fairly well funded school with a bunch of kids who actually have lives after this. Thanks to dear old Grandmommy and Granddaddy. Dropping her History textbook into the bottomless pit that was her locker, Antonia turned down her music slightly while grabbing a thin purple folder. 'Lovely lovely, Orchestra than Art. My, will I ever find time for Physics? Dear old Physics, the poor old soul, where labs aren't nearly as fun as my beloved Chemistry?'

Clipping her hair up, she stuck two freshly sharpened pencils through her hair as she winked through the mirror's reflection at a nearby boy that was wondering what the hell she was doing. With a small slam to make sure her papers stayed inside the locker, she didn't bother locking it again while she left to go take out her Violin and tune up. 'Or did they want me playing Bass today?I can't remember.' So she'd be a bit early, it was a class she actually liked.

Tommy snapped up early in the morning. He got up every day around 5 am. He made his way to the kitchen and started on breakfast, since his mother was either still at work or already gone by the time he woke. He just made toast for himself, but he went out of his way to make something nice for his little sister. He usually only saw her momentarily before leaving to get to school, the neighbors were nice enough to make sure she got to school safely. This was a great concern of his lately since all the killing started. This morning he poured hmself some cereal and made pancakes adn eggs for his sister, Sarah. Tommy prepared to leave as his sister came into the living room. He kissed her on her fore head "See ya, tonight kiddo." He smiled to her and ran outside.

He got there early, but someone was already there. Upon closer inspection, he noticed it was Chris. He shared a few classes with him; he was a nice enough guy. Tommy waved to him and took a seat next to him. He started in on casual conversation, trying to be himself. Tommy looked off toward the news stand and could see the headlines, it looked like there was another murder in the down town area. Another one of the 'Whore' killings. Tommy looked to Chris and pointed to the news stand "Whats the world coming to man?" Chris just shrugged back in response. Tommy just shook his head and looked down, he then looked to the school "The bell will be ringing soon, I better get to first. See ya later Chris." Tommy got up and walked to building five, where he had Algebra 2 first.

"Kansas! Come on hunny, other people need to use the shower this morning!"

"Ok, ok, just a sec."

She checked her hair in the mirror and opened the door letting her mom in.

?You know, you could have done your hair in your room?

?Yeah, sorry about that.?

Kansas poked her head in her room and grabbed her black book bag from the door. On her way through the kitchen, her dad tossed her an apple and her keys.

?Have a good day kido?

She grinned ?Thanks?

She hopped on her bike, tucked her hair artfully under the helmet and took off for the school. They didn?t have parking spaces assigned yet, so she swung the bike around and parked out front in the teacher?s parking.

?Nice parking Green.?

She took off her helmet and shook out her hair, grinning at Jason Maxwell, who was leaning on one of the cars.

?Thanks Jace. I try.?

They walked down the crowded halls toward their lockers. Some of the freshmen girls were gossiping nervously outside the girls room and another group of girls was gathered near the cafeteria doors. She caught some of what they were saying ?Another killing?

Kansas sighed deeply. Ever since the killings had started, the school had gotten intense. There were twice as many security guards in the halls, some teachers were requiring girls to leave the room in pairs, and the senior ?out of school? lunch privilege had almost been revoked. Now every girl who had ever been called a slut behind her back in the lunch room or study hall note passing could be at risk. It wasn?t just a dumb high school soap opera anymore, it was real.

Jason broke into her thoughts
?So, what are your after school plans??

?Huh? Oh, I?ve got a honors society meeting and a dance committee meeting, but I?m hoping to be outta here by 6.?

?Wanna grab a bite at McDonalds or somethin after then??

?Sure,? she grabbed some books from her locker and slammed it shut with her foot. One of the football boys walked by and whistled at her

?Nice ass Green?

She turned and flipped him off ?Better than your girlfriend?s ass O?Riley.?

He laughed and kept walking. The bell rang. She said a quick goodbye to Jason and then worked her way through the crowd to math

Jason continued walking down the hall as Kansas went her own way. "Got to remember to met up with her after school. He was lost in his own thought as he rounded the corner and ran into a girl with her wrists wrapped up and knocking her books all over the floor.

"Watch where your going" She almost snarled at him after landing on her butt

Jason smiled as he reached down and gathered her stuff up. He neatly organized it all back to the way it was as he held a hand out to her and helped her up. "I'm sorry about that" He kept his eyes on hers instead of looking at her wrists. He knew she most likely cut them and probably didn't like people asking about them. He handed her stuff back to her and began to walk past her. "See ya later Tori"

She got an extremely puzzled reaction. "How did you know my name?"

"Read it on one of your papers. Take care" He walked on down the hall trying to find something to do since he only had four classes because he never had a study hall his first three years. "I think I will mess with Kansas in her math class" He made a short jog to the classroom were Kansas and the rest were working on their classwork. "I wonder what kind of joke I can pull this time"

OOC: I'm not going to be here for the next two weeks for X-Mas vacation, so just play my character when you need to.

Tori watched the guy go. Damn her demonic side. He seemed really nice... She shrugged her shoulders. She didn't have time for that. Heartbreak, tears, etc. She didn't need it. She needed it like she needed help. Which means she didn't.

"A silver arrow is known for its unrequitted beauty, a golden apple is known for its alluring shine. Only the gods can show you which is more divine." She hummed her little made-up tune as she walked down the halls, through the glass doors, to her usual spot right by the tree. She then sat down underneath its cool shade, delving deeper into the book that she couldn't put down.

She sighed heavily as she read the last few pages, she only had thirty pages to go when she ahd started twenty minutes ago. Now she looked mournfully at the finished book. She touched the cover of the book softly, as if willing the character, Simon, to come alive and take her away.

She put down The Silver Kiss and reached for her journal. She pulled out a sharpened pencil and began to write.

She sat there stock still. Who he was or where he came from, she didn't know. Neither did she care. He was against everything she stood for. She could see it in his eyes. She could feel it in the very air he breathed. She knew he was trouble, so why was she following his command to move closer to him. She honestly tried to stop, but she couldn't. Her legs were disobediant. She bit at her bottom lip, her pencil's eraser stuck underneath her bottom lip. She stared out into the blue beyond, and hummed the second verse to her 'song'.

"Draw beneath the ocean waves, break the surface and face the sun. Reach for the shores... Your life has begun." She loved how she managed to come up with that. She returned to her story.

A siren, a half-mermaid, should never let hersel become intraced by her prey... She should never fall under his spell. Her ocean blue eyes looked into his forest green, and she knew he was half-elf. She knew because only elves had been known for mesmerising the water gypsies. The bell rang distantly in her ears. She jumped, having soaken into the pages of the books that she cleaved to ever so tightly.

Tommy was headed off toward class, the bell had just rung, it meant he only had three minutes to class. On his way he wanderd upon a girl reading from her book. He had seen her before, he was having a hard time remembering her name though. She always seemed kind of distant, but she seemed like a nice girl. She snapped attention at the sound of the next bell; two minutes to go. He patted her shoulder "You seem like you quite intensly involved in your book." She looked to him and huffed "Whatever, mind you own damn business." Tommy stepped back "Sorry, didn't mean to upset you. I just see you around and you always look so distant. Don't you want to talk to people, you know have friends." She glared back at him "No, now leave me alone." Tommy brought his hands up "Okay, I'll go. Just try to keep a smile instead of that frown, you look cuter that way." He smiled to her and started running, he had one minute to get to class.

She watched him go... Her niceness flowing back into her. Why did she always have to come off short? She ran to catch up with him, to apologize, but she couldn't reach him. She sighed and shook her head. She walked into the building and unlocked her locker. She was met by the same assortments of books. History, Physics, the list went on and on...but most of those other books were library and college books. She sighed again, pulling out her History book.

She slept during this class and still got the best grades-most of the time. Usually it'd be an average of 95-97 in the class, but on outstanding occassions, when she was even the tiniest bit remotely interested in the subject, she'd get 100s. She walked on to the class, the bell had rang a long time ago, and she wondered if the teacher was even in his class. Oh well, what's he gonna do? Write me up? I'd love to see that fly with 'Demon' over in me. Sure enough...

"Miss Aleise, thank you for gracing us with your appearance. Please sign this sheet right here." The teacher said in his casual voice.

"Back off, since when have we given you a write up for being late?" That mouth of hers was going to get her in trouble.

"Principal's office, now." His voice a thurnderous roll.

"Yeah, yeah, and detention to top it off." She rolled her eyes. "Give me a break, I'm a Senior, I'll do as I please. I don't respect you because you don't respect me." A couple of students clapped at the poem she said in a sing-song voice.

"Yes, you will get detention, and a referral too!" His voice rising dramatically.

"Detention, referrals, their all the same to me. You can give me one, or two, or possibly three. But it's never gonna change me, just you wait. I'm pretty sure, you gonna be bait. But that's just me talking my talk, and walking my walk. Maybe I'm right, and maybe I'm not." She bowed, and snigged. "By the way, in case you didn't know. I'm just about finished with my show. Making a fool of teachers, that's my game. Tori Reighli Aleise, that's my name." She slammed the door on her way out.

She breathed deeply, laughing her head off. That was such a good poem! Her mirth was high-pitched and prolonged, leaving her no breath to gasp for. The reality caught up with her. She had just dissed a teacher... Oh this wasn't too good. She grinned slyly. But I know things that they don't know...

OOC: Hm...we whorekillers need to rise up.

Chris loved mentorship period. The lady in the attendance office usually gave him just two or three papers to deliver, and after that he could roam the halls, doing as he pleased. It was bliss; a way to be alone with his thoughts and to discover new whores at the same time.

He walked in building 2, where most history classes were located. Rounding a corner, Chris walked directly into a girl who had a bright red face full of recently forgotten mirth. The two bumped chest a bit, but neither was dropped to the ground. A folder the girl was holding, however, flew to the ground at Chris' feet.

"Why don't you watch where you're going!?" Snarled the girl, a little to aggresively for Chris' tastes. Nothing terrible had happened, just a little bump! The mirth in her face replaced with fire, she stooped down and made a pass at her fallen folder. Chris layed his foot upon it and frowned slightly.

"No need to get upset." Chris said to her as he stared bullets into her eyes.

"Get off my stuff, dick!" shouted the girl, and she pushed him square in the chest. Chris, fuming, relinquished his footing and let the girl retrieve her folder.

The strange grey girl stood up and hugged the book to her chest, still frowning hard. "Now get the hell outa my way!"

It didn't take Chris more than a second to decide. He burried his fist into the girl's mouth, knocking her flat to the floor with a satisfying CRACK. Chris shuddered with ecstasy; he loved punching bitchy women. It was every normal boy's dream. He loved the feeling of his rock-hard knuckles colliding with a soft, tender face.

You're lucky Ash isn't here, Chris thought to himself. Whereas I'm just gonna leave you to drool on the ground, he would have stuck you like a pig.
And with that he hurried off to obtain an alliby.

Ash brushed Roses? shoulder as he passed her on the way to his first period class. She shied away, not looking at him. He scowled slightly. She had never really forgiven him after he beat her first boyfriend stupid. The prick deserved it for fucks sake. He shook his head and smoothed his face into its normal pleasant mask. Hurrying into his science class before the bell, Ash looked around wondering where Chris could be right now. He smiled and shook his head. No matter, they had psych together next period.

Ash sat and stared out into space remembering the nights events fondly. Her fear? It was so sweet. The memory of her screams, blood painting the wall, a slick darkness against the cement, a coppery smell in the moist air. Ash shuddered, the hair on his arms rising in anticipation of the next time. His lips parted and his tongue darted out to wet them.

Suddenly Ash stood. ?I have to use the rest room, please.? He muttered. He turned and fled the class to the bewilderment of teacher and students. Dashing into the mens room, Ash locked himself into the stall furthest from the door. Panting, he leaned against the stall door. Sweat rolled down his face and a strangled noise escaped his throat. Savagely Ash punched the wall, splitting his knuckles and leaving smears of blood across the tan stone. He choked and coughed, viciously tearing a strip of toilet paper to wipe up the mess and daub the cuts on his knuckles and the bloody crescents his bails cut into his palm.

Thoughtfully, Ash licked the blood from his hand and flipped on the faucet. Cold water splashed his face and he started as he realized someone was standing behind him.

If the girl isn't Tori then I will edit my post. They both have gray hair

Jason frowned as the teacher told him to go away and rounded a corner to find the grey haired girl that he had met earily named Tori on the ground. He rushed over and began helping her up. "Hey, are you okay?"

The girl looked at him surpirsed to find someone being nice to her then her face went sour. "What is it to you?"

Jason smiled. He didn't care if she yelled at him or not. He would still help her. That was the reason a lot of the other kids in scholl called him Brother or big bro because he helped a lot of them out and stood up for people being bullyied or having trouble in class. But their were some who didn't approve of his actions. Two were Chris and Ash, the only people he didn't get along with and never tried to. Tori treid to get away from him but Jason picked her up to her feet and began gently making her walk with him down the halls. "Let me get you some ice for that"

"I'm fine, leave me alone"

Jason smiled. "So tell me a little about yourself Tori"

'Senile woman, you said we were starting the classical era, not this crappy contemporary shit.' Antonia was bored, she could sight read the weird off rhythms of the tasteless Traffic. Snapping her gum once in an obnoxious manner, she waited 'patiently' while much of the orchestra struggled through the same ten measures repeatedly. A knock on the door preluded to the entrance of the Dean, Mr. Dolan, or Deto as she liked to call him. She promptly burst out in Beethoven's Symphony No. 5 as a welcome. "Speraconi?" he asked.

Antonia packed her violin and slug the strap over her shoulder as she followed Deto outside. "Yo, Deto! Long time no see, how's the wife been treat'n ya?" She nudged him with elbow jokingly. The scowl on his face made her laugh cynically. Messing with teachers was one of her favorite pass times to drive away boredom. "I kid. So what'd you request my presence for, Almighty Detention-giver?"

"Enough nonsense Miss Speraconi, you know this is about your new 'artwork' on the pavement. Unfortunately I can't prove it's you. You however DO have detention for cutting school yesterday."
"Ok," Antonia shrugged, and Deto gave her a weird look, but let it go. She pretended to head back to class, but instead entered one of the other buildings to walk down random halls. She passed by that guy Chris at one point, looking like he had somewhere important to go. After another classroom she stopped short, and backtracked after a moment a few steps for a quick wave at Tommy in his class. He was a nice guy, she didn't mind him. There weren't many people out there that'd put up with her attitude even for a short moment, and she had to make some humane attempt at socialness once in a while anyway.

Glancing around, she took serious notice of the tighter groups people were staying in, afraid to be alone. Mentally shrugging, the girl laughed to herself at the paranoia. She wasn't about to change her ways for such a trivial fear, and refused to admit that she too, was even just a tiny bit frightened. She knew well the nature of rumors, her own 'love life' pulled into question multiple times with names called behind the back. The last time some one said it to her face, they met with a brick wall, then a car, and finally the street with a few extra bumps and bruises in addition to the bloody nose. 'Hm, where should I go next? So many places to choose from, yet none sound so appealing to attend at the moment?'

Tommy waved to Antonia as she walked by to wave to him. She had a rather negative dispostion, but underneath it she was a nice girl. Shortly after her leaving Tommy recieved a call to the front, he could only imagine in regards to what. Tommy stepped out of the room and very casually made his way down the relativly empty hall. All the usual students could be found wandering about the school, no one he didn't expect. It was at this time he noticed that girl from before, Tori. Her face had a nice round black mark on it, and to top it off there was some other guy standing next to her. He thought it best to check in and see who this guy was before going on. He approached and he recognized the guy with her. His name was Jason, he didn't know him that well, but he knew enough to know he was a nice guy. He noticed he was helping, so he decided not to get in the middle of it, he had his own things to get to. He continues and arrived at the front office, there he saw Antonia and he approached her as she sat awaiting, what was probably her chewing out "Hey, how you doin? Causing trouble again?" She looked up to him with a smirk "Just waiting on Deto to come out and let me have it one more time." Tommy laughed "Yeah well, I'd love to stay and watch you play mind games with him, but I've got to go." She rose and eye brow to this statement "Wait a minute. Is golden boy actually in trouble for once? Call the papers, stop the presses, Tommy Callack has become a delinqient." Tommy laughed at this "I've done nothing they just want to see me." She just bobbed her head "Right, sure. I'll be waiting for you in detention hall." He shoutd back to her as he went on "Then you'll be waiting a while." He laughed a little more as he continued on his way to the clerk. He stopped in front of her desk "Hey, I'm Tommy Callack I got a call up here." She nodded to him and had him take a seat. Her name was Ms. Cambell, she was kind of bitchy most of the time, but she seemed awfully nice today. She began to speak "Tommy, I don't know how to say this but....... YOur mom was in an accident at work." Tommy's smile from earlier faded almost instantly "What happend? Is she at the hospital?" She looked down "She's dead I'm afraid." Tommy leaned back and almost fell from his chair. He gatherd himslef for a moment and then she tapped his shoulder "Are you going to be alright?" He didn't answer. He rose from the chair and ran off back down the hall. He ran by Antonia again as he went by, she called to him "So what the damage To...." he didn't her the rest as he ran right past her without a word.

Ash stepped from the bathroom after brushing rudely by the underclassmen that had startled him. If he had any sense he'd keep his mouth shut.

Striding out into the hall, Ash paused. Someone was running toward him, breathing raggedly. His breath caught in his throat, memories flitting over his minds eye. Then Tommy careened into him, spinning Ash as he passed.

Ashes arm snaked out, catching the hapless boy by the collar and flinging him into the lockers. With a snarl, he punched him in the stomach and pushed him to the ground. Tommy was bigger than Ash and if Tommy hadn't been in such a state of distress, Ash would have been satisfied with that. As it was, Ash decided to capitalize on the distressed boys predicament. He kicked him in the ribs and relished in the whooshing sound of the air leaving his lungs. Ash spat on him.

"Watch where you're going asshole." Ash stalked away, blowing off the rest of class to go find Chris. "He'll get a kick outta this"Thought Ash. "I want to know when we make out next move." Ash's palms itched in anticipation. He rounded the corner and spotted Tori in front of the office. He smirked. She sported a spreading purple mark, marring her lovely face. "Serves the bitch right. I bet she ran afoul of Chris again." He eyed her. Tori confused him. She was strange, as if she was always devided. He shook his head. Probably just his imagination. Ash started forward and felt a large hand come to rest on his shoulder. He jumped and spun, eyes wide in terror.

"Ash. Why are you not in class?" The art teacher Mr. Krahn was a mammoth of a man, towering over Ash's 5'5" by about a foot. Ash gritted his teeth then bowed his head politely.

"I wasn?t feeling good, sir, and I came to clear my medication with the nurse." A plausible lie, Ash was more sickly looking then most with dark smudges under his eyes and cracked lips.

"Alright." Krahn looked down at him. "You know, if you ever need someone to talk to..." He let the sentence trail off.

"Thank you Sir, I'll remember that." "When I poison your coffee." Ash dipped his head again, and glared at the retreating mans back. "Fool." He turned and resumed his search for Chris.

Two minutes after leaving Tori behind, Chris was walking normally again. He had put enough distance between himself and the crime scene to stride comfortabley again.

A low, strange noise filled the air: a sob. Chris' curiousity, fully roused, compelled him to find the source of the noise. The next hall over; that was it!

Chris walked quickly into one of the main halls with lockers to find Tommy Callack sitting on the floor, back against the lockers, crying softly. It wasn't a baby-ish cry, but merely, the cry one has when in an utter state of loss. Tommy looked up, now aware of Chris' presence.

"You here to finish the job?" Tommy asked in a surprisingly calm voice. Chris noted the blood trickling down from Tommy's nose.

"What do you mean? What happened to you?" Chris inquired as he raised Tommy off the ground and onto his feet.

"You're friend Ash- threw me to the ground for no reason. I may have bumped him, but only..." but Tommy was cut short by a boy who had just entered the corridor.

"Get your damn hands off him!" It was that Jason character. He stood in the middle of the hall with clenched fists. "This time you've gone too far Chris!"

"The hell are you talking about?" chris asked with a raised eyebrow. "I didn't do this!" Tommy confirmed this with a shake of his head. Jason still had his fists clenched, and through gritted teeth he growled,

"You're a bad man, Chris. I can't prove it, but I know it. You and your whacko friends." Jason turned on his heel and stormed away.

Chris called after him, making Jason stop for a moment, "If I were you, Jason, I'd be careful. Bad things are starting to happen around this town, and I don't want to see anything bad happen to you." Jason shook his head and continued walking.

"You'll be alright, Tommy?" asked Chris, laying a hand on the boy's shoulder. Tommy nodded, and Chris took his leave. Again he began pacing the halls, endlessly.

I don't like the Jason boy, he thought to himself. I may just have a fair idea of who our next victim is. I'll tell Ash in Psych...

Rounding a corner, she eyed the back of Mr. Krahn and quickly ducked back the way she came. Antonia was still divided on if she wanted to go to art today, and if decided no later, didn't want him to know she was here at all. 'Maybe I'll just hand in my still portrait and fake lessons. I'm involved in enough crap with the music department for it to pass...' He was one of those teachers always looking out for the welfare of the students, the caring type.

She took down one of the other hallways, and came upon the guy Jason walking in the opposite direction. He looked almost ticked off by something. "What happened to you, get chur ass beat verbally? Or maybe a metaphorical-"

"Shut up." Antonia wasn't a lip reader, but those two words she knew well. Eh, Jason was no fun; she wasn't even going to bother. She made a motion of not understanding what he was saying, pulling out one of the earpieces for a second. "Nothing to say sir? Shame. Till next we meet, parting is such sweet sorrow." Putting the headphone back in her ear, she made a mock bow in terms of goodbye with a nod of her head that held home to a hidden grin as she never faltered in step once.

One of her favorite songs on the disc started playing, and she closed her eyes as she hummed softly with the melody. Looking down the hallway at a ground spot in front of her again, Antonia almost tripped over Tommy because of not paying attention. Opening her mouth as she looked at him, she pressed the pause button so she could talk to him. "No offence, but the last thing I need right now is your attitude," he said looking up. He looked miserable, and Antonia couldn't help but feel a little bad although not showing it.

"Touché my friend, Touché," she nodded. "I'll be on my merry way then, skipping through the woods with my little basket of goodies for Grandma, spreading joy and cheer as I sing with the birds." She indeed did skip momentarily followed buy a twirl, half Little Red Riding Hood and half Sleeping Beauty, succeeding in making him laugh a little. With a small wave, she wandered off once more.

Kansas finished her busy work just as the bell rang. Grabbing her bag and slinging it over one shoulder, she made her way into the hall. People bumped and pushed their way to their next classes, but Kansas seemed to have a clear path in front of her as she made her way down the hall, listening to her headphones, waving at and high-fiveing friends she passed as she went.

She was turning the corner by the gym when she passed Jason. He walked right by her, running his hand through his hair and muttering. He was defiantly upset about something, but before she could turn and stop him to see what was up he had disappeared into the throng of students.

Shrugging, she turned and went down to the main office to see about her parking permit. There, sitting outside the nurse?s office a girl, Tori she thought her name was, was sitting with an icepack. When she came back out, she saw Tommy walking out with another icepack. Something was defiantly up, only one period had passed, what could have happened in that amount of time? Tommy didn?t look good, there was something else wrong other than the growing bruises.

?Tommy! Hey, what happened to you? You look like hell boy.?

?Huh? Oh, hey Green. Yeah? I gotta go home.?

?You can?t have been hurt that badly.?

?No, no not that. I just got? they just told me? I gotta?? He looked blankly through her. Something truly awful must have happened.

?What happened Tommy??

Jason contiuned walked after he had helped Tori to the nurse's. He slammed his fist into a locker, making all of the other students stare at him. He hadn't lost his temper in a while and he really had no way prove that Chris did it. "I should apologize to Chris" Jason hurried back the way he came and found Chris talking to Ash. "hEy Chris, I just wanted to apologize for earlier. I didn't really know if it was you and had no right butting in." He turned to Ash. 'But dude, seriously you need to calm down." Jason's phone suddenly rang. "Hello? Damn't Vala no. I told not to call me agin and no I will not have sex with you. We are over...Why, because we are two totally differnet people and you cheated on me with two guys at once. Your a slut and I am not. That is why I broke up with you" He hung up. "I can't stand that bitch. She is one of the few people that get on my nerves" Jason held his hand out to Chris and Ash. "Lets put this behind us. I know you like to pick on people but leave that Tori girl alone, you know that gray haired one. I think she is suicidal. you can mess with her after I make sure everything is okay. It would be a bad thing if she came up here one day and shot all of us because of one of you two" He smiled as Chris shook his hand.

"Your a smart man Jason. and your ex girlfriend. You said her name was Vala?"

"Yeah Vala Pembrooke. Why?"

"No reason" He had a evil sort of smile about him as Jason walked off knowing that he had fixed something that was his fault. He came across Tommy and Kansas down the hall. "Hey Kansas, you ready to go. I drive, you almost killed us last time. Your welcome to come too Tommy, if your up to it. I will meet you in my car Kansas" Jason walked out the door and got into his mettalice black 69 dodge charger with a large holly sticking out of the hood. The thing made such a load roar it made everything around it shake. "Hope, Kansa don't make me have to listen to any music she knows I don't like"

Tommy bit at his lip for a moment as tears began to well up in his eyes, he wanted to speak, but he couldn't form the words. It was as if the air had been taken from his lungs. She stepped a little bit closer to him "What happend?" He looked up for a moment as the tears rolled down his face "My..... Mother. Sh... She's..... gone. She died." Kansas' face became somber and sympathetic "Oh my god. I'm so sorry Tommy." His lips trembled a bit as he tried to smile. He didn't want her to feel that bad for him "It's okay." He rubbed his face "I don't know how yet, but we'll pull though. We'll be okay." He turned and waved to her "Well, I've got to go home now. Sorry I coud'nt take you and Jason up on your offe, but were going i different directions." He waved to her as he walked out of the building and headed for the street. Once he rounded the corner from the school he started to run. He huffed and weezed as he ran, still not able to get a full breath. He reached the front of his apartment building, huffing and weezing and still crying. He couldn't stop as he lurched over, gasping for breath. He approached the door and let himself in and slowly climbed the stairs to his apartment on the second floor. He walked through the door and slammed it loud and tight behind himself. He would be alone for a few more hours til his sister came home, or til Antonia, who lived two floors up decided to cut school and go home. Til then, he was able to sit in his own anger and sorrow. He was sad,not only for his mothers death, but also now the fact stood that his whole world was about to change. He knew what this meant, and though he didn't like it, he would have to go through with it. He would drop out of school and find work. They had no one else to provide for them, and he was the only person his sister could depend on now.

OOC: Just a quick clarification on whorekiller characters: Chris is a bit more humane, and gets along with normal people; he loves normal people. Ash (and this is just what i feel, since he's not my character) is more of the crazy one, i believe.

"Okay, I think you know what we're gonna do." Chris and Ash had just left the company of Jason, and were walking around campus. "No brainer."

Ash nodded. "You wanna go for his ex, yeah. Sounds like a good idea to me." Ash grinned and nashed his teeth together. "The pace is picking up. We already have another victim!"

Chris glanced sidelong at his friend. "Yeah man, just remember that the important thing is not that we're killing, it's that we're killing bad people." Ash raised an eyebrow at Chris.

"Are you saying we aren't gonna kill Jason?"

"Why would we? What has he done wrong?"

Ash's eyes opened wide. "He suspects us! He'd stop us if he could!"

"Right," answered Chris with a nod. "Because he is a good person. The world benefits by people like his ex being murdered, and people like him staying alive. We, my friend, are in the middle of good and bad, and sadly enough the good people don't appreciate what we do. So yeah, they think the right thing to do is to stop us, the killers of whores."

Ash growled. "And that's why we can't let them catch us! Your crusade for purity will be over if we get thrown in jail!"

Chris stopped abruptly and stared Ash in the face, their noses only inches from touching. Ash lost some of his nerve and looked at his feet. "You think I'm dumb enough to let people who want to stop us have free reign, free will!? Do you think I'm that stupid!?"

Ash looked up and met Chris' eyes, then lowered his head and shook it to indicate "no."

"Ash, listen. When we kill this girl, Jason will beat the hell out of himself knowing that in the last days of Vala's life, he kept her in constant misery. She longed for him, and he cast her away. He will not rise up against the whorekillers in rage; rather, he will fall into a pit of self loathing for the way he treated his now-dead, ex-lover. This-will-break him!" Chris emphasized this last bit.

"You're right." Said Ash with a nod, regaining his boldness. "If we're doing this tonight, we better have a plan."

"We damn right better." agreed Chris. "We need to find out what we can about this girl of Jason's. Let's both do a little recon, and compare notes after school."

Antonia marched off toward her History classroom although she didn't have it until later. She figured to run a couple of errands around the school before heading home for the day. Sticking around just wasn't an appealing thought. She dropped off her essay, the teacher didn't care. Most of them were used to it by now. Walking out the door she mimicked the most used line by all of her teachers. "Well, at least your work is handed in on time?" she voiced with one of Those Looks on her face.

Heading by the art room to see if Mr. Kahn was back yet from his stroll around the halls, Antonia's cell phone went off. Seeing whom it was she hung up on them, only to be called right back. "Astrology 411, this is your daily astrologer speaking. Please press one for a general horoscope or nine for a sex compatibility guide." She rolled her eyes as the beep sounded, followed by a question by the caller. "Let me see?ah yes, my crystal ball tells me that tonight may not be a good night to pay a surprise romantic visit, you may find her with another man." Pause. The girl snickered. "Woa, watch what cha say ta me man, whore's a bit harsh don't ya think? Names like that get you killed around here now." Finally reaching Mr. Kahn's classroom, she stopped to finish her conversation before going in. "Aight, catch ya later than, usual haunt. Bye."

Pulling an envelope out of her bag, she walked up to the teacher's desk and placed it in front of him. "Sorry Saint Vince, but I couldn't sign my work this time. I didn't have a real canvas, so I improvised curtisey of the school's parking lot. Don't tell Deto, k?" She always referred to him as St. Vince after Vincent de Paul -Catholic patron saint of charity- because of how much he cared about people. Mr. Kahn lowered his voice so that classmates of hers would not overhear. "I assume you won't be joining us today then? If there is something you want to talk about, I'm here to listen and help," he offered.

"Of course," Antonia said with a snap of her bubblegum, blowing a small bubble before popping it again. "And after I'm done talking to you, Deto, and the resident social worker, I'll jump off the Auditorium's balcony. Head first." The teacher just shook his head sadly, but nodded nonetheless. "Alright then, I'll mark that you were here".

"Much grateful, later." she departed. 'I think I'll check to see how Tommy's doing?according to an e-mail opened on the computer screen in History he left early because of a death in the family. Remember Antonia, time to be nice. It's been a while, but you didn't forget how to be kind to people, right?'

OOC: Ash Is the crazy one, but with crazy eyes and silence. He's not very boisterous or loud. Suspicious, sadistic, cruel, and crafty like. ^^ It's really fun to play this character. He's not very manly. Androgynous thing is Ash. What region is this place in?

IC:

Ash looked after Chris.

"Wait. Chris, I'm going to take the rest of the day off. Tell the teacher that I'm sick, please." He turned on his heel, hurrying quietly back to his locker. This was too easy. This woman, Vala... Sounded like a trap. Ash sneered. If this Jason was such a do-gooder to try and trap him, he had another thing coming. Oh, they would still go after Vala. Is she was such a whore, maybe he could convince Chris to lure her somewhere secluded with the promise of sex. That would be fitting.

Ash stuffed his things into his locker, shut it quietly and turned to go lie to the nurse. He started down the hall and glanced behind him... And ran straight into Antonia. Ash turned and jumped backwards, turning bright pink.

"Ah! Er.. Um.." He fiddled with his shirt seam before stuffing his hands in his pockets. "Hi, Antonia..." It was hardly a mutter and the girl looked at him strangely. Ash's blush deepened and he looked down. "Sorry I bumped into you. 'Scuse me." He brushed past her and walked quickly down the hall.

OOC: Sorry about the post. Shortness that is was.

Antonia stared after Ash in unmasked surprise. "Don't- worry about it?" her voice faded out. 'That was new?I can't remember ever seeing that much color in his face?' After a moment she shrugged, and continued down the hall as if nothing happened.

Opening her locker, she fished around for her staff paper notebook before repositioning her violin case and slamming the door shut. Testing the door, the girl made sure that the next time she went to open it; it would comply. You never knew with some of the older lockers and the abuse they've seen over the years. With a last glance over her shoulder down the hallway, Antonia headed home.

Almost home, not that she was looking forward to seeing her asinine parents; the girl stopped by Tommy's place and knocked on the door. There was a pause. "Ya know, the way I see it you have two choices. One, you can open the door and we can talk. Or my favorite option, for two, I can make a horrible scene out here and then talk to you."
Her smirk never faltered, even after the door was opened a crack and she saw the look on his face. "What do you want?"

"Relax, I'm trying to cut the attitude a bit long enough to do this. I know what happened, sorry for your loss and all that feel good crap. I wanted to ask, what do you plan on doing now? Besides moping that is," she said with arms crossed.

Tommy sighed, and reluctantly opened the door the rest of the way. She wasn't going to leave him alone until he talked to her. "Drop out of school, find work," he started. Antonia shook her head as if to dismiss the option. "Naw, no reason why Golden Boy should turn into a drop out. You've got too much going for ya academically speaking. I know a guy who can get you a night job, or you can do part time weekends and still catch school. Been doing it for years off the books, pays well enough in the least."
