Tommy smirked "Thanks for the vote of confidence." He opened the door the rest of the way "Do want to come in. I can't imagine your looking for ward to going home. You always complain about how bad it is there."

She just shrugged to him "Why not. You've got food right?"

Tommy laughed a little "Yeah, we've got some left over seafood pasta from last night I think. Hope you don't mind."

She shood her head as she made a bee line for the kitchen "Nah, you know me. I'm up for any food as long as it's free." She went straight into the refriderator, rummaging around "Which container is it in, you've got alot of stuff in here."

Tommy smiled and sat on the couch "It's on the bottom shelf. The container with the blue lid."

"There it is I see it. I'll just pop it in the microwave."

Tommy got to his feet "No that's okay. I'll warm it up on the stove for you."

She just shrugged to him as he walked in "Whatever, I could just do the microwave."

"Yeah, but then it won't taste as good."

"Sheesh, you take too much pride in your cooking. Maybe you should be a chef."

Tommy smiled "Well I am in culinary arts at school."

He set the pot and warmed it up in a few minutes. He served it up on a plate and brought it out to the living room for her "Here you go."

She smiled at the sight "Thanks. I knew there was a reason I came here."

Tommy laughed "Yeah, I knew ther was to." He took a seat next to her on the couch and popped the TV on "So, do you know anyone who needs a chef part-time."

She looked to him "So your giving the part-timer idea a shot huh?"

Tommy nodded "Like you said, It'd be a waste to just throw in the towel like that."

Tori sighed heavily. She didn't like soem of the things that were happening. She bit her bottom lip, 'Nasty, nervous habit to get into, Tori,' her mother would say. To hell with the lot of them, she thought viscously. She then shook her head. But is that what I really think? Screw the world, for it has screwed me so many times? She raked her hands through ehr hair frantically. She didn't seem to understand what power her evil persona has over her.

She wished she didn't have to have this...side to her. She closed her eyes and shook her head, hugging herself. She was on top of her bed, tears streaming down her face. She quickly brushed them away, a manic gleam seeing the bedroom light bounce off her not-so-sharp scissors. She had a desperate look on her pretty face, maming the beauty it once had. She unwrapped the bindings of her previous cuttings.

The scissors were open, she slid the cold blades across her skin ticklingly. She didn't scratch at it. She pressed down upon the blade, harder than she normally would've. It took several attempts before breaking the barrier of skin to feel the blood and the cold blade mixing. She shivered, her body shaking efficiently. She hurried into the bathroom to wipe off the blood and to apply the anti-bacterial ointment. She didn't need scars when she took off the bandages. She was surprised her parents hadn't figured out yet. She wiped the sweat off her brow when she finished her needy task. As much ecstasy it gave her, it always settled back down inside her after she was done. It never stayed longer than a couple of minutes.

(ooc: I'm not sure, last I checked it was still early in the day like around second period...I would assume its still school hours though.)

Antonia nodded and sat down next to Tommy on the couch. "I just might?down at the Tom Cat there's this bartender we all call 'Mix Masta'. He owns this small little pizza joint/multi cuisine restaurant on the corner there, just so happens he's looking for help."

She motioned to the pasta. "Good stuff, as always. Better than the grub I usually eat."

"You have the worst diet of anybody I know," Tommy said shaking his head a bit. It was no secret that her meals usually consisted of either fast food or junk food snacks. And it was when she decided to eat, no set timeframe as to which meal was when. Antonia just laughed.

"Anyway, the salary's pretty good. Mix Masta's got this little rule though with most jobs. I don't think you'd have to worry 'bout it, but I'll tell anyway: If there's anything you're not supposed to hear or see, you didn't."

"You know a lot about this?"

"I ran a couple of short notice deliveries for him once. Nice guy. How else did you think I saved up enough for my computer so quick?"
Tommy visibly frowned, not liking the sound of it. "You know, one day you're going to get arrested or worse."

Antonia shrugged then stood up, and started to head back into the kitchen. "I'll do the dishes, it's the least I can do for bumming food off ya again."

Tommy got up and walked after her. "Maybe you should let me handle it."

"Relax. I promise not to drop or break anything this time," she said proceeding to clean up. After washing and drying, she helped put everything away. "Think about it for a while, then let me know. As far as I've seen, he likes to keep one business separate from the other, so you shouldn't haffta worry about anything illegal or anything like that."

occ: Yeah, it's still about school time. Tommy was let go for personal reasons and everyone else is pretty much blowing off school cause they can.

Tommy smiled a bit "Thanks, I think I'll pay this place a visit tomorrow."

She nodded and smiled a bit herself "Yeah well, thanks for the food." She turned around and looked to the door "I'll see you tomorrow. I hope everything goes well for you."

Tommy smiled and looked down the far hall toward the bedroom door at the far end, his mothers room "I'll be fine, I'm just worried about Sarah. She'll probably be home soon to. They probably already told her, and she's crying the whole way home."

"Yeah, your right. I'll get going so you two can have your time to yourselves for a while. See ya" And she walked out the door.

Tommy turned and sat back on the couch and waited. It wasn't ten minutes later that his little sister ran through the door crying as he knew she would be. She jumped to him and hled on to him, still crying about it. He tried to keep himself from crying to, he needed to be strong for her. He held on to her and told her it would be okay, that there mother was in a better place and that he would look after her. He ler her know eveything would be alright.

After and hour of crying she fell asleep, she had just worn herself out. Tommy picked her up and brought her to her bedroom and set her in the bed. He went back out to the kitchen and started to make dinner for the two of them. She would be awake by then, and the extra time meant he could make something nice. He decided he'd make a beef stew, it was his sisters favorite. He got up and started to warm up the crok pot.

Fumbling around with her keys a bit, Antonia opened the door to her place and walked into the living room. Her mother, Mary, was sleeping on the couch. "Hello mother, I'm home."
"That time already dear? How was your day at school?"
"Oh, the usual bull. Thanks for asking," the girl mimicked. She crossed over to the door to her room, and unlocked it to put her school stuff away. The folder went on the music stand, the keys tossed on the small dresser, and the junk mail in the trash. Walking out, she dropped most of the bills unceremoniously in front of her mother and was left with one small letter that she skimmed through.

'Oh, how nice of them...' she thought bitterly. Until about two weeks ago Antonia didn't know she had living grandparents, never mind that the said old folks didn't know she existed until a chance meeting with the Mrs. in the supermarket. Tossing it casually aside with the junk mail, she walked over to the counter and poured herself a small glass of wine while it was still quiet there. The teen guessed that it would be about a half hour before dear old mother would wake up and it wasn't an option for her to be home this early in the day.

Placing the empty glass in the sink, Antonia grabbed a few supplies and left again, no idea where she was going to go yet, but a walk sounded good.

OOC: Well, I suppose if no one has any objections I'll go ahead and end school for the day. Oh, and as for what region this story takes place in, just imagine a normal- yet large and expansive- modern city.

Chris strolled the streets of downtown Blair, humming to himself. School had been out for a bit, and he had left his car on the campus parking lot in order to be alone in the city and think. By asking the right people and dropping the right names, Chris had collected all the information he needed to know about this girl, Vala; where she lived, what she looked like, what car she drives, when she does what she does, her number, everything.

Chris had called Ash via cell, and the two were to meet outside the Tower Records store. Ash had sounded a bit worried when over the phone, which made Chris curious.

Hope he hasn't gotten into any more trouble... Chris thought to himself as he wove his way through passers-by.

Sure enough, Ash was waiting outside the music store when Chris arrived. They began to converse in low voices; human traffic wasn't thick on the sidewalk at the moment, but neither man wanted to take a chance.

"Chris, I have a feeling that Jason is trying to trap us with this whole Vala thing." Declared Ash. "I mean, he has to suspect us. All he would need to do is give us the tip-off he already gave us, have the cops shadow this girl, and then have us busted when we make our move."

Chris nodded. "Damn, good thinking. I don't think that Jason is smart enough or brave enough to do that, but you have the right state of mind. We should always be alert."

"Right," responded Ash, "so I'm thinking we get her off her beaten path. Maybe get her to come somewhere with the promise of sex and drugs."

"Beautiful." Said Chris, smiling. "You're absolutely right. Here's what im thinking-" but Chris was cut short by a familiar female voice.

"Well! If it isn't the big men on campus!" Was the sarcastic greeting that came from Antonia.

She woke up around mid-day, but she decided to stay in her room. Her parents were due home until after nine, which wasn't really an inconvinence. She had been taking great care of herself since she was five. Nothing really drastic mind you, but she had had the police and firemen come to her door wanting to know what all the racket was about.

Tori accidentally made enough noise that had the neighbors calling the police, multiple times. Tori had yet again, accidentally set fire to some...thing close to the window, which the neighbors phoned up the firemen about, but little did the neighbors know that she put the fire out and turned down the music before the 'law' showed up at her door. Always the same thing she had replied with.

"I don't know what you're talking about. I was just playing a little Mozart." or "Nope, the only fire that'll be happening will be if my oil burns on the stove. Now please excuse me." She laughed visously as she snuggled into a bathrobe and walked downstairs to watch TV. Even though she could do that in her own room, she perferred the big screen rather than the 23" screen. She found the remote and hit the 'power' button. The news came on.

"Another murder," she mused. "Find something else to talk about!" She yelled at particularly no one. "Makes you think if they love that stuff to report...makes my head hurt." She was grumbling by the time she changed the channel. She always found something wrong with television. Usually she got too pissed to watch anything else, but today, she had nothing better to do, and writer's block was evident in her head.

"New ideas...possibly...maybe I should read something instead of watching this..." She trailed for a minute, then finished her sentence. "Nah, I'm going to take a break." She left the TV going and walked into the kitchen for some much needed food. Ramen, being her favorite thing to eat, she heated some water, and poured it over the uncooked noodles. Waiting for the chicken flavored noodles to become soft, she popped the top of a coke and took a sip.

Grabbing a fork out of the silverware drawer, she stabbed at the now soft noodles and took a bite out of them. She carried her bowl of Ramen and cup of coke into the living room. She took hold of the remote again and changed the channel to HBO.

"Nothing good's on..." she glared at the TV. She recalled it back to the channel she was watching. Who says cartoons are just for kids? She finished off her lunch and turned off the TV. She wanted to read now. If she could find the book she was looking for that'd help too. Giving up, she resorted herself to the only thing she could think of. Shopping. Who doesn't like to shop? She took off the bathrobe and straightened her shirt out before grabbing her keys, her parents' money, and heading out the door.

She looked at her car, a blue corvette, and her motorcycle, more of the racing type with onyx green plates, she chose the car. Her parents were crazy to give her the motorcycle...but she like it enough to ride it ever so often. On days when her devil decided was going ot be in control. She started the corvette and drove out of the garage. About twenty minutes later she was at the mall, with a lot of money. She grinned evilly.

Kansas walked down the hall toward her locker deep in thought about the death that hung over the place like a cloud. Things were changing, fast. Her senior year was defiantly becoming memorable, but hardly for the reasons she thought it was going to be.

She threw on her leather jacket and went out to the parking lot where Jason was sitting in his car, windows rolled down and country music blasting from the sterio. She pulled the door open, hopping in and putting her feet up on the dash.

?Did you seriously think I'd object to country music?? She grinned at him, knowing that?s why he had gone out to the car before her.

?Seriously? You like country?? he said, looking at her with surprise.

"Babe, I was raised a country girl. We?re gonna have to swing by here and pick up my bike later ya know.? Kansas said, looking out the window at her baby parked outside the front of the school.

?I can?t believe the VP hasn?t gotten you a ticket yet for parking in his slot.?

Kansas laughed and put on her best innocent face ?For some reason the principal isn?t inclined to listen to him. She seems to think he?s just over reacting.?

They drove down the street toward the McDonalds. They were talking about what dj Kansas was thinking of hireing for the next dance when Jason turned in his seat and slowed down, looking out the window.

?What?s up??

He didn?t look at her, but kept looking across the street. ?It looks like Chris and Ash.?

?Ok, so, what?s the big deal with that??

He turned back to face the road and shook his head. He looked really serious ?Nothin it?s just? well, I think they?re standin outside Vala?s work.?

Kansas laughed and shook her head ?Maybe they?re just looking for some action. You know what she?s like Jace, you?re never gonna change that and she?s never going to change, no matter what she says to ya.?

?I know, I refused to talk to her today, she was really pissed?

Kansas grinned ?Want me to run her over with my bike? I could make it look like an accident?

That got Jason to laugh. He grinned as they pulled into the parking lot ?Maybe your dad could put her under the cement they?re pouring at that new project he?s on, that?d be way less messy.?They both laughed and walked into the McDonalds.

Since the street wasn't that crowed and wouldn't be for about another fifteen minutes if her watch was correct, Antonia had spotted Chris and Ash from down the block. She had waited until only a few feet away before addressing them though, and completly didn't notice Jason and Kansas driving by. "What's the party for?" she said while removing the headphones from her ears. "In other words, what's up, how's it going, long time no see, how've you guys been."

Antonia figured they weren't quite expecting to be bothered, especially by her. However, she didn't make any reaction to the little tidbit of momentary posture give away.
"Hi, Antonia?" Ash said without really looking at her.
"Hey Antonia," Chris greeted pleasantly. He always struck her as a patient fellow, probably why he gets along with most everyone effortlessly. Usually people rolled their eyes or inwardly groaned or something when she ran into them, easily showing displeasure at her company, but nothing of the sort applied this time. Either there was some amazingly good news or something was up. She didn't really care, but was offset nonetheless. Just wasn't your normal everyday occurrence. "What brings you here?" he finished.

"Oh nothing interesting. Just on my way to pick up a few new CDs. I'll swear it, this prehistoric fellow over here eats through them like a garbage disposal," she said waving the CD player slightly in emphasis. Snapping her gum Antonia poked the player menacingly. "Hear that mister? I'll retire ya if you keep it up," she joked.

"Anything interesting on the forecast? I've been hunting around for a source of amusement all day, so far nothing but a man in a hurry to get somewhere tripping over a curb and Prissy Miss Vala's reaction to getting his soupy lunch all over her pretty little outfit," the teen smirked in remembrance of the sight. "That'll be a bonus if she showed up to work yet."

Tommy sent his sister to sleep shortly after dinner, they were both worn out from the day. But Tommys work wasn't done yet, he still had to go to the hospital to arrange for what to do with his mothers body. They had decided that she wanted to be creamated along time ago, he just never imagined it would come so soon. Once he had set his sister to bed and he was sure she was out for the night, he slipped out and headed down town.

They had probably already sent her body to the morgue, that was near the central district. That was about a good 40 minute walk from here, but he had no other way. He started on his way to the morgue to go see his mom when he saw a familiar face coming out of the record store just up the street a little ways, he stopped "Hey, Antonia."

SHe stopped and looked to him "Oh, hey ther Tommy boy." She walked over to him "What are you doin' out this late? Not to cause trouble, right." She said taunting him.

He smiled a bit "No, in all the chaos today, I haven't been to the morgue yet. I have to go there and see my moms body."

Antonia looked to him and nodded "Alright. Your going to be okay on the way there right."

Tommy nodded "I'll be fine. See ya." He walked passed her, then stopped as a thought hit him "Oh yeah, Antonia. I'm not going to be at school tomorrow. Figure I should stop in on that place you mentioned. I'll see ya after school tomorrow."

She nodded and waved to him "Alright. You better be home when I get out of school. I figure for that little bit of help I gave you, you owe me another meal."

Tommy laughed "Sounds fair. I'll be waiting. Mind you, it'll probably be left overs again."

"Ehhh, beggers can't be choosers. See ya after school."

She walked off with a casual wave over her shoulder and Tommy went about his way to the morgue to see his mom one last time.

Ash looked up and smiled.

"Yes... Yes it would." He glanced at Chris then looked away. Antonia was so pretty... She had such a great personality. He sighed. Chris. Chris was who his loyalty belonged to. He just hoped that she would never do anything to be targeted. Ash shook his head, realizing he had been acting strangely again and looked up, trying to get back into the conversation.

Tommy paused a few feet from the conversation and Antonia walked over to him. They conversed for a moment, Ash caught something about "Moms body" and filed away in his mind for study later. Antonia returned to the group and Ash coughed.

"Uh.. Well why are we standing out here? Don't we all have business inside?" Ash opened the glass door and motioned for the two to pass inside. Antonia bounced inside barely contained excitement at the thought of soup on Vala in her eyes. Chris nodded to Ash and walked in, heading for the music in the back corner.

Ash slipped past the door and paused. He was supposed to be shopping while Chris talked to Vala on her smoke break. Ash winced as he thought of something new. What if Vala knew about this theoretical police plan? Would she be suspicious? Ash moved out of the way as another kid passed out the door. Ash moved into the industrial dance section and slipped on a pair of head phones, scanning the newest Skinny Puppy album. No... On second thought, what he had learned from hacking Valas' school files was that most teachers viewed her as slow and over reactive. If she knew she was bait for a pair of murderers she would be freaking out.

Ash closed his eyes and listened to the sample for Pro-Test. He would get this album. But he would still look around for appearances sake.

"Hey, Ash" Antonia was standing behind him, but Ash had the volume all the way up. Oblivious to his company Ash swayed ever so slightly to the music. Antonia grinned and poked him in the shoulder. "Hey... Ash" He jumped and spun, getting tangled in the cord of the headphones and dropping the CD.

"Ah! Antonia..." He pulled the head phones from his ears and untangled himself from the cord. "Oh! Um.. Hang on a second, ok?" Ash moved quickly to the area Chris was in. Chris turned.

"What's up?" Ash leaned in.

"Don't let Miss Priss talk to anyone about your plans tonight. Tell her you want it to be a secret or something." He whispered. Chris nodded.

"Then I'll give you a call at about nine." Ash smiled, showing a little teeth, then turned to go back to where he left Antonia and his CD.

"I'm sorry... What were you saying?"

"Just that I was taking off now. I'll see ya." She waved and turned, but Ash caught her arm. Shocked at his own actions Ash looked down.

"Ah.. I was wondering if you were on your way to create..." He nodded at the bag she carried her paint in. "I'd enjoy seeing the artist at work." He blushed.

Jason bought himself several value meals and sat down. "Iwonder if Chris is trying to hook up with Vala"

Kansas frowned as she sipped her drink before she knocked the big mac from his hands and onto the floor.

"Hey"

"Would you leave the Vala issue alone"

"Okay, but that didn't deserve to have my burger knocked onto the floor. It nevewr did anything to you" He frowned as she stuck her tongue out at him. He could only smile at that since she looked cute doing it. "Your lucky"

Kansas took a bite out of a couple of fires. "And why is that?"

"Your too cute to get into trouble"

Antonia went a tad pink in the face for a brief moment. It wasn't exactly something she was used to hearing. "Well, I wasn't planning on heading out on an inspirational whim until sometime after nine or tenish when there's less people wandering about?"

"Oh?I have plans for then?"

The girl paused in thought. "Believe it or not I have a dinner date in a few, with a dear old couple who go by the names Grandmummy and Granddaddy," she said.

"I thought that- well, you had said..." Ash started. He faded out seeing her nod seriously. It wasn't a look she gave often.

"I know what I said, and I know it sounds like I am lying to ya?But I'm serious as hell right now. I didn't think I had living Grandparents until I met the Mrs. last week in the supermarket?" she looked Ash in the eyes the entire time so that he would know she wasn't lying to him. The girl hadn't even told Tommy that bit of news yet, and he was the closest thing she had to a best friend. Well, pretty much any friend.

Pulling a purple gel pen out of her pocket with one hand Antonia took hold of Ash's hand in the other. She wrote her cell number on the inside of his hand, her normal, almost cynical expression returning to her face. "That's my number, rain check then? You've got my word, however far you'll trust that."

She saw Ash nod, if a little unsure nonetheless, from the corner of her eye as she glanced at her watch. If she waited much longer she'd be really late. "I've gotta get going now though, loved the chat. I'll see ya later then I guess."

"Sounds good to me." Said Vala in a low, seductive voice. She flashed an appealing grin at Chris, who was leaning over the counter talking to her. Chris wanted less of a chance of someone overhearing, however, so he asked Vala, "Could we step into the back room for a minute?"

"Anything you say." Vala replied in the same tone as before. She turned and walked through the door to the storage room, motioning for Chris to follow. Chris' inner hatred for her kind began to flare up as he looked at her retreating backside, snug in low cut jeans, and her shirt that left inches of skin between itself and the pants. Maybe that's what I'll do first. He thought to himself. Slit her belly from hip to hip where her sluty shirt doesn't cover it.

Chris gave a last glance around the room. Immediately, his gaze fell upon Ash and Antonia. They were flirting! A pang of anger went through Chris' body. Instead of watching his back, Ash was flirting with a girl who was probably due for termination soon! Chris didn't care at all if Ash wanted a girl, just as long as it was a good one.

Chris pushed aside the door to the storage room and faced Vala. He wanted to get out of there fast. "You, me, 5622 Harbor Drive, Midnight. That good?" Vala stepped close to him, placing a soft hand on his chest and letting it run down to his belt.

"Sounds good."

Chris mustered the best sexy grin that he could, and made his way out. He passed Ash without a word, and his companion followed. Once outside, Chris turned on Ash.

"Antonia? Why the hell?"

It had been almost and hour since he left home and Tommy was on his way back. He was a little upset, knowing she was dead and seeing her were two very different things, but he kept up a strong exterior. It was getting close to midnight, he needed to hurry home, he needed at least a little bit of sleep before going out job hunting tomorrow. He was slowly walking the streets with his hands tucked in his pockets.

He started to look around himself, noticing that despite the time people were still out and about. you had to pay attention, but they were there. This place was known for prostetution. That's probably why all those so called 'Whore' killings were going on here, this place was whore house central. He still couldn't believe there were so many out with all the killings that had been happening, but he didn't have time to worry about what they were doing. It wasn't his business to stop them, that was for the cops.

Tommy was almost four blocks from home when he saw Chris, of all people, standing around outside. He looked to be waiting for someone, but who would he need to meet at this hour of the night. It was as he was passing by he saw a girl from school, Her name was Vala if he was right. She had quite a reputation at school, and not a very good one. Was she really the one Chris was waiting for? Tommy smirked a bit "Didn't think Chris'd be into a girl like that."

He said to himself as he rounded the corner. He was just two streets away from home, when he saw another unexpected and much less regarded face, Ash. He still wasn't thrilled with Ash since he was such a dick to him at school, but Tommy wasn't the type to pick fights, so he let him go. But what was he doing? Was there something going on he didn't know about?

Ash whirled on him.

"Because all the other ones think I'm a listless, vile, underfed creep!" He snarled.
"They don't think I hear them and their snickering behind my back, but I do! Ruthless bitches..." Seeing the look on Chrises face made his anger wash away. "I'm sorry Chris... Put it to loneliness. I'll stay away from her..." He sighed. "The others... They all seem like they were made from a mold. No personality." Ash shook his head.

Chris looked sidelong at his friend. "Promise?"

Ash glanced sharply at him. "Yea... I promise."

"Good." Once Ash gave his word, Chris doubted even slow torture would get him to change it. He grinned. Knowing him, he'd probably enjoy it. He slapped Ash on the back. "Don't worry about it... When all this slows down, we'll get you a nice lady."

Ash smiled. "I hope so..."

Kansas smiled at Jason and took a bite out of her big mac. She probably shouldn?t have hit his to the floor, that was a bit extreme and a waste of perfectly good meat.

Ash and Chris were gone from the store when they headed back toward the school to get her bike. After saying goodbye to Jason, she hopped on the motorcycle and headed back toward the main part of the city. She liked to ride around and unwind before heading home, especially if she didn?t have to be home for supper since she just ate.

That was one good thing about living in the city; the streets were never dark. In the country, her parents had had a rule about being in when it got dark, but these streets pulsed with life and light long after the sun was gone.

She saw a few girls in heavy makeup and light clothing standing on the corners. Maybe they didn?t read the news. Kansas knew one thing for certain, this was the kind of situation that should make girls who had never gone to church run to confession and hide under the covers. She believed strongly in the ?let the man here with no sin cast the first stone?. She knew she had sinned, practically everyone she knew had in one way or another. But it was the degree of sin here that seemed to be the button pusher. Whoever these killers were had watched Boondock Saints ( a movie she herself loved) one too many times.

Antonia sat outside her door leaning back a bit to listen to the miscellaneous bangs, crashes, and yells. She had been back from the dinner with her newly found grandparents for a while, and made the mistake of defiantly telling her parents where she went and whom she met with. Something hit the door where her back was on the other side?sounding suspiciously like a CD player. Standing up, she kicked backwards in 'silent' disagreement before walking away without a word.

'I knew I should have shredded the damned thing, and knew better than to tell them I went to meet them. I should have just blown off the entire thing. Wonder why Mom stopped keeping contact, they're nice enough people?I should have known better?'

She just kept walking, not wanting to be anywhere within the block around her home. No music, no paints, no extra gum, nothing. This was a bad thing. She didn't feel like doing much anyway, and mentally went through a list of possible places to crash at for the night. The teen didn't get remarkably far before running into Tommy, set to pass by with just a passing wave. That was until she stopped hearing her name.

"You don't have your CD player?or your bag. What's wrong?" he asked.
"My player, alas, met with such an unfortunate accident?and any ruckus is probably my parents," she said without turning to look at him. "If my Ma suddenly decides she cares and asks where I went?please make something up. I'll be on Harbor Drive. The usual place."
"Again? And with what has been going on." Antonia wouldn't answer, and Tommy just sighed. "Just be careful?I saw Ash and Chris with Vala near there," he added as an afterthought.
It made Antonia pause. It was strange. "Funny, I didn't think she was his kind of girl. You sure?"
Tommy laughed. "That's what I said when I saw them."
"Anyways, I'll be fine per usual. Get some sleep or something, seeya after school tomorrow." The girl waved a Goodnight over her shoulder as she continued on her way without saying anything more to anyone.

Ignoring all surroundings, she stood on the front steps of a Club Buddy's place and collected herself before ringing the doorbell. It didn't take long for Trish to open the door. "Hey, well if it isn't my little whore," she greeted jokingly with a grin, and one of those penetrating voices that at no matter what volume spoken seems to be heard by everyone within earshot.
"What did I tell you about saying that?"
"Oh relax, no one around here's gonna care. Come on in, I'm about to have a drink and some company," Trish invited while stepping aside. Antonia followed her inside and shut the door behind them.

Tommy worried about Antonia, but he knew it was for nothing. She was a stri=ong girl who could take care of herself, but after his mother he couldn't stop worring about others. He was gonna have to do something, he couldn't just sit back any more. He was gonna get a job and do everything he coudl to support himself and his sister.

As he came up on the building where he and Antonia lived he could still hear her mother going on about something. Her mother had a short fuse and was really loud, but he usually took a note from Antonia and just ignored her. He let himself back in and went to his room. His sister, sarah, was still sleeping, good to see all the racket hadn't gotten her up. Guess she was used to it to.

Tommy went back to his room and stripped down to his boxers and got into bed. He layed there for a moment and stared up at the ceiling in the dark. The commotion upstairs was starting to settle. No doubt that meant her mother would be down soon to ask if he had seen her around. This was like a routine at this point. Big fight, Antonia leaves, mother yells some more, yelling stops, mother comes down, asks Tommy, Antonia comes back, good night, calm for a few days, repeat cycle.

It had been this way since the day he met her. Tommy couldn't get settled tonight so he sat up and looked out his window to the street below. He still couldn't stop worring about Antonia. Those killers were still out there, and she was a walking target. They always killed women, and even if she was kind of tom-boyish, she was still in there feild.

chris and Ash stood in a dark alleyway; the body of Vala lay beneath them. They had drugged her Coke with a slow-acting sedative while on their visit to the record store, and the timing had been perfect. Now she lay dormant at their feet, utterly helpless. Before Chris had even reached into the bag for a weapon, however, he saw something at the building across the street that made his blood curl. He dove sideways behind a nearby dumpster, dragging a startled Ash with him. His friend, Chris thanked God as they landed on the cement, had not uttered so much as one sound of surprise that could give them away. Bless the boy, he was such a good killer...

"What?" inquired Ash as the two crouched in darkness.

Chris looked severely back at Ash. "Antonia just walked into the house across the street." Ash was too stunned to speak. Chris continued: "You know what we'll have to do if she's suspicious, right?" Ash could only nod as he stared at the ground. Chris couldn't help feel a bit sorry for his friend. "Here, we'll go check out what she's doing."

Acting quietly, they hid Vala in the dumpster and made their way across the street. It was already apparent what was going on inside, the music could be heard a block away. Chris and Ash reached the duplex and sat against the wall under a window. "You saw." It was a statement, not a question that Chris extended to Ash. Chris had seen men through that window, and women, all his age and excruciatingly underdressed. There had not been one couple of teens that wasn't locked together in some way. Chris knew that Ash had seen it too. He looked over and saw Ash with his face in his hands.

"don't make me kill her." came Ash's muffled declaration. "I won't do it."

Chris placed a hand on his friends shoulder, and Ash looked him in the face. "I'll give her one minute, Ash. If she comes out before the minute is up, then presumabley she figured this wasn't for her, meaning she may not be a whore. If she's still in there, we pull a cherry-top."

Chris' gut went cold even as he said those words. Ash's eyes opened wide. A cherry top would be a huge leap in their movement; it was one of their rehearsed methods of killing. Ash would get a household of ppl to leave the house for 20 seconds while Chris snuck in, turned off the light in the main room of the house, unscrewed the lightbulb, filled it with a highly explosive fuel (designed just for this purpose), screwed the lightbulb back in, and left the house again. The household re-enters their home, turns the lights back on... it was almost unthinkable that anybody would survive.

Antonia was at Trish's merely just to have a place to crash for the night. That's all she really wanted. She paid no mind to the music volume, it wasn't the first time there was a party and it probably wouldn't be the last one she happened to show up just in time for. Being basically the only one left fully dressed in a non-revealing way, the teen took the cue to leave the room and walked into the hall fingering the lighter in her jeans pocket. Just wasn't her personal idea of a typical party. One hand was on the doorknob; she had one of those annoying nagging worry feelings?and really wanted to burn something. 'I have a few pencils left, why not. You can't have hell without fire.'

Trish waved her from the doorway of the main room. "You hoo!" she called. "Leaving already? Come on, we'll find you a date you antisocial wannabe. Have some fun."

"Nah, I'll pass. I have to wrap your sister's B-day gift still anyway. Totally forgot all about it," she replied shaking her head.
"Whatever, your loss."
Antonia lightly scoffed to herself as she opened the door to leave. 'Yea right,' she thought. Standing on the top step somebody came up behind her, lightly placing his hands on her waist. He leaned in close, whispering in her ear, "Aww baby, you're all by yourself tonight? We'll have to fix that?"
'Oh great, it's this shmuck ?what a day I'm having already.'
"Well, well, J.G?" she replied in the most alluring tone she could muster. "What about Jenn?"
Jenn, or Jennifer Bailey, was her long time ex's current girlfriend. What could she say; she warned the Badminton teammate that he'd cheat on her in the blink of an eye. Not that the girl took notice, no one ever listened to Antonia really, even if she happened to be right.
"What about her?" he asked as if the girl didn?t exist.

Antonia mentally rolled her eyes as she led him down the steps onto the sidewalk saying, "Maybe we should go somewhere else and have our own party then." She turned to face him, in reality eyeing the stairs behind him. Perfect. J.G was grinning at her and she returned the face while placing a hand lightly on his chest and moving in closer to him. The cold look in her eyes didn't match her actions though, not that the guy noticed.

Without warning, the girl brought her knee up to connect with his gut and in fluid motion push him down hard from the shoulders onto the stairs where he hit his head. "I'm not helping you cheat on your girlfriend!" She spat on the ground. "Touch me with those intentions again and I will kill you. If I hear from Jenn you cheated on her like that as I warned her you would, I will kill you twice over."

Antonia flipped J.G off as she started to walk away in even more of a bad mood than previously. Normally she wouldn't have added the second threat, she didn't really care greatly about Jenn. However, J.G was the guy that cheated on Antonia with her former best friend a long time ago. He just annoyed her that much.
"You?little?whore," he said.
The girl stopped dead short, picked up some loose bits of street in her hand, and chucked it at his feet.
"Sticks and stones bastard," she hissed.

It finally happend, Tommy got the knock on his door. He got up from bed and put on his karate gi, since it happend to be right there on the floor. He went to the door, and sure enough, there stood Antonias mother, upset and coverd in tears. She whimperd a bit "Tommy, have you seen Antonia."

It happend all the time, but seeing her like this always made him feel real bad for her. It reminded him of another scene he wished he could forget. His father in the bed room crying and his mother sitting at the kitchen table, her face caked in blood saying 'daddy's sorry, and he's never gonna do it again.'

Tommy nodded to her "I haven't, but I'll go out and look for her right now."

Her mother then began to thank him graciously like it was something he never did. It was in fact just another part of the routine. All he had to do was figure which one of her regular haunts she'd be at. She hung out all over the place, so he had to think if anything was going on tonight. He rememberd that there was going to be a party a Trish's house. She was friends with Antonia, and she was the closest, so that was a good place to start his search.

He set off on foot to find her. He was coming up on Trish's corner and found Antonia standing over J.G.'s body. He was on the ground groaning as she was starting to walk away. He walked up to Antonia, she already knew what he had to say "She wants me to come home right?"

"Yep, you hit that nail right on the head there didn't you."

She sighed "Whatever"

"Come on, you know when she comes down to my place in tears I can't just blow it off."

"Yeah, yeah, I know Mr. Golden boy. Let's get going, this place is starting to irratate me."

She said with one more glance back at J.G. Tommy smiled at this sight, the asshole deserved it. He was probably hitting on her again, he couldn't keep it in his pants, and didn't know when to quit while the quitting was good. Tommy started to walk and stopped "If you don't feel like home yet we can do something else to entertain ourselves if your still holding a grudge."

Ash punched Chris lightly in the arm.

?See? I told you.? He curbed the urge to pop out of the bushes to begin another failure of a conversation. ?Let?s go finish Vala before she wakes.? Chris nodded and slunk quietly around the house, Ash in tow.

They got to the dumpster and hauled the unconscious girl from today?s lunch with a grimace. They both wore gloves. Ash wrinkled his nose.

?She smells rotten. Lets finish this.? The heat began in bubbling inside him, spreading through his body and making his hand tremble in excitement as he reached for the knife.

I have two outcomes now. The gory one with all the details and the edited version. I don?t remember if I?m allowed to post the intense one, so I?m gonna ask now. In any case, at the end of this post, Vala is definitely dead. If someone will tell me how to do the blackout post I?ll do both. Or if you want me to leave it as it is, that?s fine.

Ash sat back, wiping his face with his forearm. He surveyed the ruined area that had once been Vala?s chest cavity. Giggling quietly, Ash imagined the look on the face of whoever found her. Panting a bit, Ash remembered the look on Valas? face when she looked up and found she couldn?t scream.

Chris stood back and watched Ash. It was a wonderful thing that Ash was educated. The medical books he could hardly be torn from had become a wonderful asset for making their victims regret their deeds. He helped Ash to clean the blood from their tools and his body at the spigot around the back of the building. They bundled everything up and after ridding themselves of it decided to go for a coffee.
