What was the best gift that you were ever given in your entire life?? It can be when you were a kid or just three days ago; it can be on a holiday, on your birthday or just for a personal special occasion; and it could have been from your family, friends or maybe you just bought it yourself, but I want to know what it was, who gave it to you and why you think it's the greatest. Boo ha!

My best gift that I ever got was my lapytop on my 16th birthday. My parents made a special surprise party, invited all my best friends and catered the best things ever. They also got me a Legolas cardboard stand XD, but I totally love the laptop because it meant that they always thought about me and will never cease to love me. =)

Replace 16 with 15 and you got it ;3

Although, a close second for me would be on my fourth birthday, when my dad (then a florist) gave me a basket of ivy with a #4 sucker on it. Don't ask me why (since I don't know XD) but that's always been one of my favorite gifts.

I bought myself a little baby horse and last X-mas my dad bought me a saddle. Of course my horse tore the saddle apart and now I have to fix it but it was a nice thought. :animeswea

Hm...I think the best gifts I've gotten are all this year. Contact lenses, new PJs, a black polo, a pink shirt with sequins and embroidery that itches all to hell (but looks pretty!), black pantyhose, disposable razors, and a Bratz doll (no clue why Gramma got it for me...). Oh, and this cute little Koala bear that says "Australia" on his PJs, and you squeeze him and he snores, but it sounds like purring. So cute...and I just might get this little kitten. He's extremely fiesty, but he looks almost identical to my baby girl kitty (R.I.P), Gena. He even has the little freckle on his nose. My mom's thinking about it. I hope...I hope..I hope!
Well, that's pretty much it. :animesmil

Please remember that proper grammar is very important in all responses. Using capital letters and punctuation is a must and responding in a well thought out manner that adds to the conversation is required. Please make sure you keep this in mind in all future posts blackfireknight.

Now on topic: The very best gift I ever received was an engagement ring from John. I am sure you guys can figure out why it is such a great gift. The feeling behind this gift is what makes it so special. It's a 1/2 carat round diamond solitare. It's the most beautiful ring ever since it came from the man I love.

Replace 16 with 15 and you got it ;3
Ah! Me too! I got a Dell Inspiron 5160 last year for my Birthday and I almost cried.

I think that the best gift I have ever recieved was my iPod mini, which was just yesterday. It wasn't because of the fact that I had over 36 hours worth of music to put on it, but rather the story that went with it.

I went to the mall with my aunt a couple of weeks ago, and she explained to me that she was getting my little brother an iPod for Christmas, and even made me order a protective case at the Apple store for her. I was kinda bummed out because I had a small Sony MP3 player that only held about 250 songs.

And while, my brother, one of the most destructive kids on the East Coast was going to get one, I was going to be stuck with something that looked like a stopwatch. (Random people kept asking me why I was carrying a stopwatch around with me all the time.)

So yesterday, we all gathered together and got ready to give our gifts. And I noticed there was a small package on the top of my stack that said. "From 'Santa'." So I opened it, and that iPod mini was in the tiny little box it came in.

I cried, because I felt really bad for thinking that my aunt was actually going to do that to me. And so that little piece of technology taught me a big (obvious) lesson. She told me that there was only one way to get my suspicions off of her. She was right, it worked.

Replace 5160 with 5150 and that's what I got. XD Only, mine was given to me about two years ago. My brother and I both recieved matching ones from my dad. Talk about generous!

I also forgot to mention the dog I got for my 16 birthday. It was so unexpected too, since my mom really doesn't like animals all too much. But she kept asking me what I'd like for my birthday, and since I never can decide what to ask for, I just kept saying "a dog," knowing it was a completely outrageous request. XD

But for some reason, she caved. That dog of mine is such a demon, but I love him anyway <3

Also it just happened out of the the blue. It was unexpected and surprising. A dear friend of mine and I well...we had a falling out! It sucked! I missed him so much. Long story but we han't talked or seen eachother in 3 months. I never excpeted he'd talk to me again :( Then one day he just did and was really nice and asked me to hang out! I got my friend back. A very nice gift indeed!

Well, the best gifts I ever got? Good question. I'll put them in point form, for easy convenience! YAYS!

#3 - This one was hard to pick, as being 19 give many a reason for gifts over the years...not that I'm old, but now I'm getting off-topic! Anyways, number three would have to be my t.v. that I got for my 15th Christmas. It was totally unexpected. My dad had won it in a draw from his work, and they were planning on giving it to my aunt for Christmas, but they gave it to me instead. The best part of receiving the gift was the fact that they, as in my parents, didn't even bother wrapping the box. They just gave me a card, and inside was a two-page riddle that I had to work out. It was deffinitally one of my best gifts.

#2 - Well, this one was easier than the previous. It is one of my most cherished possessions, and a collection of things from my proudest moment. Well, if you havn't guessed it, which is more likely than not, it's a shadow box with my Graduation memorabilia inside it. My mom made it for me, while my dad made the frame. I'll admit, I cried when they gave it to me. I'm a very sentimental person, and this one thing meant more to me than anything else I got for my 19th birthday. This is one of my most cherished possesions, and it can only be topped by one thing...

#1 - This gift was more than a gift, it was a life-changing experience. When I was 15, I signed up for a mission trip to Mexico. Not having a job, and going to school, I was having trouble finding the money for the trip, which was due in February, two months before we left and three months after we signed up. Well, the day before it was due, my grandma took me out for coffee, as I wanted to talk to her because I was planning on backing out as I didn't have the money. She said that I didn't have to back out, and handed me the money. I won't say how much it was, but I will say that it was more than generous. To say the least, I was shocked, but at the same time, I was totally relieved. Long story short, I had the time of my life, made many friends, and had the single most life changing experience I've ever known. That's what made this gift the best I've ever received. Oh, guess I should mention that it was an "advanced" 16th birthday gift.

The best gift i ever got? Wow I never had to many gifts in my life. I'm not very much appreciated XP. Yet i see my parents give my sisters presents for the tiniest things. Well you have things like that not get you down, lol.

Well i think the best gift was a got from a friend. It was a perfume that she bought for me. She thought it was cute so she bought it. Sadly for me it was named after my most hated color, PINK (ahh how the color burns >.<). The perfume smelled good though...hey good thing come in ugly colors.

My first pair of skates (Ice skates). My aging memory fails me so I don't know how old I was, but I remember that my dad saw me out side sliding around rather pitifully on some ice that'd appeared on our driveway overnight, when he decided it was time I had a decent pair of skates. So he gave me his old pair. Needless to say they were far to big for me, but I still used them and even have them today. I broke more than my shair of bones as a result of those skates, but it was well worth it.
