Welcome to the Justice City Library. This is where all those who have been accepted into the RP named Justice City can post their literature about their character in the RP, whether it is stories, poems, diary extracts or anything else you can feasibly think of. However, as I cannot post a blanket rating for this, please put in the title of your story what rating it falls under.

Have fun, and here is my entry:

Rebirth (PG)

My first memory...darkness...thick, choking smoke pouring down my gullet, burning by lungs as I tried to breathe through the oily vapour. Everything hurt...my eyes...my throat...the needles stuck in my arms and legs.

There was a man...an old man, balding, wearing thick-lensed glasses. He held a hypodermic needle in his hand, and he was laughing as he injected the milky-white substance within into my veins. My body spasmed, but I didn't feel it. I had been put through worse than this, and now my pain receptors were shot. I couldn't feel a thing as a scalpel was drawn slowly and purposefully across my chest, with no anaesthetic.

Tears ran down my face, cutting through the layer of grease and dirt that caked my skin. I blacked out...

Now I stand here, ten years later, at the very same building where my life began. It is a sorry place, a worn-out, crumbling concrete building, huge smokestack chimneys rising into the sky like some sort of desperate, clawing fingers.

I felt the rage and anger build inside me as I remembered what was done to me here. And not only me, but countless other children, from three years old to nineteen. I hated this place more than I hated anything in the world.

Snow crunched underfoot as I walked slowly towards the building. I place my hand on the wall, and my eyes begin to glow. The familiar feeling of my mind clicking into work, the pulse of energy than runs all the way through my body.

Red light surrounds me in an aura, like some unholy demon, and the building begins to crumble. Concrete is torn from the metal girders that support it, metal girders are ripped from their foundations. The smokestack chimneys fall to the ground, bricks flying in all directions.

I use the power of my mind to tear this place apart, so that no-one will ever suffer as I have. No-one will suffer.

No-one will suffer...
