boothten
Like the title says, what is your favorite font to use while making an image? I know that while I'm making an image, I always check with a certain font just to see if it looks nice. Just a habit, really. So, your turn. Whats your favorite font? If you don't have one, post a Top 3. Note: Please post a little sample image of the font of your choice. Here's my current favorite. Retribution
I thought this thread was so awesome, I didn't even bother reading the whole thing and it's directions before I set off and composed my list. Sorry. I ended up with like a top ten sort of thing. By the way, this is a great idea, Lan! A wonderful way to get the names of a few fonts. Delta
^ I gotta get me Cocaine Sans. Luuurvly font! Raya's Top Ten Fonts Am pretty fond of CODE3X (have used it in a multitude of pieces!) 'cause it makes anything look modern and techie and... and... and barcode-y. Plus it looks good even when rotated by 90deg. Century Gothic and Verdana will stay on my list 'til someone creates fonts that look better at sizes below 6px.

Nomad
This is an interesting way to find out about different fonts. If you've seen my work before, you know what my fonts look like already because I rarely change the sets, unless, that is, I'm doing a request. My font choices haven't changed much. Even with the default installed Photoshop Small/Large. :animesmil

I don't know what I would do to a female, but believe me, it will be unpleasant.
Heh. Luckily, I'm in that cult that absolutely despises Comic Sans. Recently, I've been used the font "Angry Blue Controlled" for just about everything. If I create a banner for anybody, they have a 90% chance of me using that font on their banner. = =;; Painty Paint...was on...a poster I made for our schools upcoming poetry slam. It's a fun random font I picked up because I needed a sort of messy but not look to the text. Tahoma is really a font I don't use on pictures. I write with it. Nearly all of my documents are writting in Tahoma, because Times New Roman is evil. 123 and is nifty if what it writes is readable. - -;; It's more for use on larger projects that allow for a big-sized font. Or something. Ugh. Can't think. But I want Cocaine Sans as well.
Goodbye, Face
I love my Thought Police font, I use it a lot, especially on myO. It also has another "unarmed" version, which is the barcode without the little numbers at the bottom. I'm a proud user of Cocaine Sans, lol. It's not that useful, but it's great for typing my name with on essays. I never use CMCorruged, I actually just noticed it, so I'm going to use it for something soon, lol. Bones Bummer is my handwriting font, I use it to type my poems in, usually. I used to type everything in Schindler Small Caps last year, I changed to Trebuchet MS and Century Gothic this year. Tootache is pretty badass, I lurve it. Goes great with all those evil brushes and photos I use. Scary Monsters and Riot Act kind of go hand in hand, they're fun. one8seven, yes, that's what it says, is my graffiti font. It has the insignia of every gang known to man in it. Fun to use with a ridiculous outer glow on a brick wall. And of course, Trebuchet MS, which I type on forums with. Yay.
Riku
Yeah, I know that I have a lot of favorite fonts, but I use them all in a lot of my pieces. I have more of them, but these are my top faves. XD Batik Regular is a font that I love to use when I'm doing something creepy or I'm in a morbid mood. XD 123 And... is a cool font which makes the text look cool and awesome. Angry Blue gives a scratchy, gritty feeling to the words that I write. Bastarda-K is totally cool and I use it most of the time. Blackladder ITC is good if your in a crazy, curly mood. I don't use it on everything, though. Elvish Writing is one of my most favorites; I use it in a lot of TLoR stuffs. Evanescent is a really neat font and I use it most of the time, but it's not a good font if you need something small. n.n;; Fanjofey dh is what I use whenever I can't find anything else that's cool. Final Fantasy and Triforce are what I use when I'm in a gaming mood. Cocaine Sans, Kingthings Spikes and Neverwinter are the three fonts that I absolutely adore and use in almost everything I make. I less than sign three them all. XD Korn and A Theme for Murder is what I use if I'm in a murdery mood or want a creepy, scary font. Anyways, these are some of the fonts that I like a lot, but I also like Photoshop small and large just because it's fun and easy to use in anything. Shi no Tenshi
I'm in the anti-Comic Sans group too. I read in a typography article that it was a font that desperately wanted attention, was overwhelmingly nice and cried alone. I laughed. My writing font of choice: Sans-serif, 1-3pt letterspace, 10-8pt size. For essays I tend to make the font a little bigger, for legibility of course. Titles vary according to what I'm writing about. What I use in graphics is another story... A few of these fonts were used in my fanzine for FLCL, they just sort of stuck heh. In this book I'm reading 'Stop Stealing Sheep & find out how type works', there are some gorgeous fonts. See if you can look up F Moonbase Alpha, Insignia, FF Erikrighthand and Reporter. And I too will be downloading that Cocaine font ;D

It's official. I love you. Just like Shi no Tenshi, my choice of writing font is MS Sans Serif. I hardly ever use that in images though. I don't usually have favourite fonts. Whenever I have a project, I go to dafont.com and search for a new font that fits the theme. Though, these are a few of the fonts I've used more than once. (Except for Sans Serif, I just like it being there) -Arvi
