darkartic
It would be kinda hard to tell one's age at first if they type with perfect grammer and talk more intellictually.(like my self, for an example. ^_^)<_< >_>
Gavin
Interesting, most interesting. This time two months I'll turn nineteen and wonder where the hell the last four and a half years of my life have gone to. I suppose when I say that I just can't believe that I'll be nineteen in a few weeks when I can clearly remember playing with Lego with my younger brother. Still I've had a great four and a quarter years on OtakuBoards, and like Corey I've made great friends and regret not a single day of my time here. I second Raiyuu's belief that maturity is overrated, being able to clown around as a kid is the best part of life, full stop, and those of you still you enough to enjoy it definitely should.
Blayze
I'm 15, 16 January 10th (looks around for suggestions of birthday wishes, sees none and sinks into depressive spiral). Maturity is overrated. I actually think I have become less mature in the last couple of years, but I don't really care. I like me the way I am. Riku
I've read somewhere around this thread that people think that they are more mature just because they're older. Well, I for one don't agree with that opinion because, well.... even though Im 16 and supposed to be a "mature adult", I'm not, really, and I can tell everyone why. XD Well, for one, I don't have a job yet. I mean, it's not that I HAVEN'T been looking, it's just I can't get one... maybe it's because I'm so short... hmm... T3T. Another reason is that I spend all my money on video games, manga and anime all the time.. and maybe buy myself a few anime shirts and merchandise.. XD And I always play video games and such instead of doing my school work. I mean, don't get me wrong, I do do it, but I do other stuff that I like first before anything. So, all in all, I'm a little mature, but sometimes I wish I was young again. I'm graduating soon, so I'm a little anxious to see how my life'll turn out. I wonder....
Dragon Warrior
I've been on OB since Version 1. I was just a baby Dragon Warrior back then :^D (not in the literal sense). Now I'm here for Version 7 still and I'm eighteen-years-old (nineteen in May). It's been a good time here and I've had much pleasure come from posting my work and having people enjoy it. Makes me wonder how old I will be when I stop coming here.

DeathKnight
Im 14r but my friends say i act old and cynical like Lewis Black. Thats why my posts are always frought with anger.
*hits you over the head with a shovel * I disagree. I'm seventeen. I've been here for awhile and, you know, I've made many good friends.. but I'm not content with that. There's many new [and some older] people that I'd enjoy meeting and making friends with. Man, time flies. I think I've spent the past four years pimpin' it up a little too much.
Zhara
I am surprisingly like orbindo. Except I'm newer. (Only been on like a month or so.) Same age too, 16. But I will be turning 17 on April 4, 2006. So not too much longer. Joined to see if I could find anymore friends, but so far haven't really succeeded yet. I stumbled into the OB on my own. But I became a member of The Otaku itself since angelfox16 got me on. You should check out My Site by the way. Thanks if you do. Hope I can meet some new friends soon. If you like anything scary, then I think we're going to get along just fine. Same if you're extremely random.:animesmil
Holy crap. I'm also sixteen, and I turn seventeen on April fourth, also! Weird, but in a cool way. I joined because I hate forums, but I was bored and already had a name on myOtaku...SO one thing led to another and I like the role-playing crap. Only I'm too lazy to post on the sign-ups.
boothten
I joined a while back. I remember looking for pictures of Gundam characters, and somehow ending up here? Haha, the site had (and still has, by the way) an amazing RP forum. I was... either 13 or 14 when I first joined? I can't remember, but now I'm 16. I keep telling myself to post more, I just never end up doing it. Haha.
Ikillion
Well for me I am 14... I am proud of my age too... Anyone who makes fun of it shall have to face some kind of...very painful torture. ^_^ If I was to say why I join this forum..I think it was mostly because I saw forums everwhere but I could not find one that I really liked to my liking. So then I stumbled upon the boards and it has been passion ever since. Feh, I know that at times I dont act my age..Do I really care about it though...no not really I like myself just like this more. If someone does happen to see me acting...Mature -gasp- It is probaly for something that is...slightly important.
SaiyanPrincessX
I was fourteen when I joined, version 1. I know I was immature, as I've looked back at my posts through the Wayback internet site. I'll be 20 in September, a ways off. However, I still act silly and what not, only in a more mature manner. :p I grew up here, I mean I was on the computer all the time, so in a sense I really did grow up here. Most of my teenage years were spent in this large community. Kudos to Adam and staff for their hard work over the years. ^_^

Shi no Tenshi
I'm 18, with the mentality of an 8 year old - and I will carry that mentality until people suggest therapy. I spend my time rollerblading past the youngings in my neighbourhood, shouting the enlightening words of Principal Skinner - 'Up yours, children!' My other hobbies include eating, cats and eating cats. All set aside, I can't remember when I joined this place, nor can I remember how I found it. I think it came up in an internet search years ago, I registered, got bored and left. I came back recently but will probably repeat the cycle and leave when I get bored with posting again. Baron Samedi
I am 16 years old, enjoy plays and cooking, and long walks on the beach... No but honestly... OK. I hate cooking, whatever. Anyway, I've been here since the 23rd of May 2003. Not yet an oldie, but well on my way [I think?]. I am like, way mature and cool, which is why I married myself. If you're smart and cool, you'll marry me too. No need to tell me about it though, if I bother to read your posts I'll probably see it in your signature [where it should be]. I'm not into anime, and not into Japan. What the hell am I doing here? Well, just about all I visit is the Lounge, Suggestions & Feedback, and the RP sections, and those only because I'm currently involved in some. I generally don't bother RPing. OB has been a pretty major part of who I am for these last few years; I like to think that I have grown because of it. Or maybe I was just always this awesome, who knows. Ailes de Velour
I = le 14. Goody goody. I guess I'll age about ten more years, and then pretend that I've stopped. Blahaha. Sometimes I get comments that people can't really believe that I'm fourteen, because I suppose my online demeanor is different than my offline. However, people often mistake me for a sophomore or junior in high school when I'm actually a freshman. Anytime someone thinks I'm older, I get a little tiny self-esteem boost. =D Of course, my parents think I'm supposed to be soooo mature. >=( ; it makes me angry. My sisters and I can romp around laughing and actually getting along, and my mom yells at us for making noise. Maybe she only sees the kid in me, and doesn't realize that people often mistake me for someone older. Shvatevs. I'm fourteen and I don't care. Retribution
I came here when I was about fourteen, but I've sucked it up and fought through all the horrible experiences and lame people that are here, and now I'm sixteen. Hooray! But really, I've stuck around for so long just because I enjoy it so much. There's [usually] so many interesting discussions popping up all over the place, not to mention the involving RPGs that grace the Arena every so often.
ChibiHorsewoman
Oh you can put down how old you were when you joined too? I was the tender age of twenty-two. But to be fair I'm a late bloomer. I didn't discover anime until I was sixteen and didn't watch my first subtitled anime until I was twenty :animeblus Heck I didn't even have an email account until I went to college :animeswea So in my opinion I have a lot of catching up to do. Luckily I have a kid so it won't look too odd when I buy anime.
OMNOMNOMALY
I'm 15 now. I joined when I was 13, right before my 14th birthday. I think I posted about 5 or 6 times before I just stopped. Forums sort of intimidated me at the time, because I had gotten ganged up at a different forum months earlier by a bunch of 16 and 17 year olds. (I don't remember what happened, but at my maturity level, I may have deserved it =P) I am entirely over the irrational fear of forums now, probably because of a mix of becoming more mature, and making so many great friends over on MyO. I've found that this community is a lot more understanding and friendlier than others, and post quality overall is great. I love the OB and I hope to continue posting here for a long time. =D
Shinmaru
I just turned 20 last month. *sigh*, I feel so old.
Same here... I turned twenty a little more than a month ago. I was seventeen when I first started coming here. Wow, I've kind of been here for a while, haven't I? Yikes. I think I'm about right for my age: Mature in some ways and immature in others. I'm still living and learning. At least, I try to learn a bit when I'm not sitting around here all day anyway. :p

luzkage
I will not specify my age. =P But age's only a number. Yes, I go to school. Oh big secret. My friends claim I have a mentality of a 8 year old but i think it's fostered by my denial of my own intelligence. Ah, c'est la vie. oh gosh, I can only imagine the irony of reading my previous posts and comparing it to my age. I tend to sound older than I am, so sorweee =T
Ai.sAkUrA.chan
i´m 13... well...i´m kinda weird.
