kitsunekami
um, well..... hands are probably the hardest things for me to... i learned to draw hands by just looking at hands in anime n such until i got it right. just practice alot and you'll eventually get the hang of it. Goodbye, Face
I don't come in here very much do I? What I do is take my free hand and position it how I need it, then you just draw all the hard lines you see, it's easier with than without. If you need the other hand, get a digital camera and photograph your hand in that position, or just get a mirror. Hope I helped.
RurOuniGrL2
ohh alrite, ^^ i'll try that out too, thanks! :animesmil
Ayokano
I tend to also use my own hands as reference. Though, the hands I draw always seem kind of off. You should just pratice drawing them, and avoid hiding them. I'm sure an anatomy book would have a section with hands and feet. Those could also be used as reference
RedSkyCoffee
When I need to draw hands I just put my hand in the position and draw it, I find it works alot.
Shi no Tenshi
Do some excercises on hands and feet outside your drawings. For example, everything that's been mentioned above maybe even taking a step back and tracing around your own hand or foot, then trying to replicate it. Personally, I take inspiration from Egon Schiele when it comes to hands (but don't look him up if you're sensitive to eroticism) because they're very expressive and look like hands even when they're out of proportion. I tend to draw one continuous line for hands to achieve that effect, but you can try it too to loosen up your technique and make you more daring when you approach it in a proper drawing.
