[Darth Vectis]

[COLOR=DarkGreen][SIZE=1]Achilles walked through the forest aimlessly, his rage and his darkside showing themselves to their fullest. Everything he saw took on the face of every man and women he killed. Seeing them holding out their arms in a welcoming manner, his rage and evil within vanished as the faces grew in amount. The welcoming arms growing in numbers and the same thing being spoken to him through the lips of every dead man or women that were now in his sight.

"Welcome brother, we have waited for your arrival."[/B] He just igrnored them, he blinked once and turned his face forward. Ignoring their pleas for him, their crys for him to come to them. The voices grew louder, but Achilles still would not listen to them. A moment later Dreadnaught returned. Appearing a brilliant shimmer of light, the people and their voices faded with Dreadnaughts return. Achilles smiled at his sword.

"Looks like you do more then just keep me alive. You keep me sane."[/B] Dreadnaught laughed in his mind.
[B]
"You did that before me and you still do it to this day. I remain as your instrument for battle. Look into the sky."[/B] AChilles stopped walking and looked into the sky, he saw the void appear as everything around him disappeared slowly. The trees were pulled into the ground the grass was erased and the ky took on a gray hugh. The city's building crumbled and vanished as if never there. The people and airships disappeared like dust in the wind.

"We're going home Dreadnaught. Mabye I can go back to the forest where we can rest in peace."[/B] Dreadlaughed lighty and Achilles felt a hand on his shoulder, he looked up to see Dreadnaught in human form.
[B]
"We still have much to do before you pass on from this world, Achilles. But by the end of this war you will be remembered through out the ages as a great warrior. And your friends will carry you in their hearts for eternity."[/B] Achilles put his face back down, his hair covering his eyes. He put his hand on the opposite shoulder of Dreadnaught.
[B]
"We'll do it together. And when I pass on, you will go back to Emilio and the Kappa race. You deserve a long rest for the blood you have seen."[/B] Dreadnaught smiled kindly to Achilles, and nodded his head.
[B]
"I will enjoy the rest. Let us be going old friend."[/B] Dreadnaught vanished and Achilles felt himself being raised into the sky, ready for what was to come.[/SIZE][/COLOR]

Chrysanthema watched Amer and Sarin go off on their own to find Gale. She shook her head, and turned to face Emilio as he approached her and Grace. [COLOR=DarkOrchid]"Why didn't you get Gale away from here?"[/COLOR]

[COLOR=DarkOrchid]"Hey, lets ram the hilt of a sword into [I]your[/I] back and knock [I]you[/I] out of the sky, see how you like it," [/COLOR] she said bitterly, but immediately apologized. [COLOR=DarkOrchid]"I'm sorry Emilio?I didn't mean to be nasty about it. I'll go round up our fellow stubborn idiots, the two of you need to talk before we part from this crazy world we were all sucked into."[/COLOR]

She left Grace and Emilio standing there on their own, taking note of the changing surroundings with worry. If she couldn't get to Gale before they went sent back home, he could seriously die. For keeps, she mentally added seeing the remains of the broken stone lying on the forest floor. How much farther could he be? And how injured? If indeed the group was being sent back to face the entire Elven forces and their commander, than failure was not an option. The pull of the sky was winning unfortunately, and she stopped short as the black hole experience began again.

She mentally beat herself up over it, of all the times for this to happen. [COLOR=DarkOrchid]"Well, this might be it?" [/COLOR] she muttered, ready to just give in and see what came next. Finally spotting Gale nearby at the last few moments, Chrys didn't think about it, just tried her best to reach the young King. [COLOR=DarkOrchid]"Gale you idiot!" [/COLOR] she yelled.

[Lionheart]

Gale looked up as Chrys stood over him. he turned away from her as she continued to yell to him about hitting her with his sword hilt.
"well?!! Explain!!" Gale refused the speak. He felt ashamed to tell her what happened. She looked up and gasped at the tree. She looked at the blood flowing around the oak tree.
"Gale...Did you do this?!! This is not like you!" Chrys began to to pick him up when he snapped away.
"just leave me here!!!" He went over, but fell to his knees. The tears where coming back again. Why?
"Gale, stop talking like this!!" The sky roared as trees around them began to lift off.
"We need to leave. What's got you in a hold?" She bent down to him as he looked through the corner of his eye.
"I...killed a man...."
"That's the meaning of war, you should know that."
"I never killed a man that had a dream to one day see his family...All he had to do was kill me. And why did I kill him?!! Why?!! All because I wanted to live??!! I should have laid down and let him kill me. He could have seen his family." Chrys slapped him across the face as he stared at the ground. He really needed that.
"I'm sorry, but i wanted to get even. But Gale, this is war. You either survive or you don't. I'm sorry that you want to stay here, but i'm not leaving without you." Gale just stared at the ground. All those people he killed. The old man, Leo, Karma, and even a woman, Reina. Not honorable, but like a beast.

Amer raced throug the forrest, then stopped as he saw something floating in the air. "That idiot. He is going to get himself killed. Well, guess I better help." He smiled as he took off into the air.

"Dumbass, where the hell do you think your doing? If you think you are going without a little back up, think agian." On his way to the portal, he grabbed ahold of Achilles, dragging him with him.

"What are you doing? Let me go." He tried to break free, then gave up after a while.

"Listen, I know we are not the best of friends, but we have an understanding. We trust each other, and for now, you should trust me enought that I am not doing this to stop you, but to rather watch your back so you don't do anything stupid." Amer smirked a bit then looked back at the ground.

"They are going to kill us for this. If we see them agian, then we should be ready for the beating of a life time."

"I think your right. Lets just hope this portal takes us where we want to go." Achilles said, looking at the black hole.

"I have a feeling that it is going to take us right where we need to be." Amer said, finally passing through the portal.

[Starwind]

Emilio stood face to face witht hsi girl who looked and felt so much like her. He knew he needed to speak with her, but the words wouldn't come to him. He wasn't sure if he hated her, or if he was just mad for being here. He could see the world collapsing around him as his inner walls fell in on themselves. She finally stepped forward again "You said you knew one of my kind. What connection did you have to her?"

Emilio hesitated as she became more persistent "Were you her ally, her partner, her friend? What was it you two had that has everyone on edge around me?"

Emilios lips cracked a bit and he started to speak "She..... She was someone very close to me for years. I met here on the brink of death and she saved me. At first we hated each other, but that changed one day. We became partners, I taught her how to a mercenary. We were partners, then friends......... Then lovers. One day we went on a mission and she betrayed me. She tried to kill me. After that she disappeared til three years ago. She reappeared to me about the same time I met all of the others. She had sided with the dark army. In the end, I was the one to kill her."

Grace looked to him for a moment with a confused look "So you hate me. Is that it?"

Emilio hung his head and looked to the ground "No."

She got directly in front of him "So then what's the problem?"

He looked up to meet her eyes as his were filled with tears again. The world was collapsing around the two, but it was as if nothing else existed in this world but them in this moment. Emilio smiled "I didn't hate her. Even after what she did, even after trying to kill me and my ultimatly killing her, I still loved her."

The air went silent as the world around them became apparent. The two quickly took notice that the forest was rapidly fading.

[COLOR=DarkGreen][SIZE=1]Achilles and Amer started to pass through the void Achilles spoke.

"Amer, you should know me better by now. I don't do stupid things, i'm just a little crazy."[/B] Amer let a little laugh out.
[B]
"A little crazy? Try the most psychotic human I know."[/B] Achilles laughed.
[B]
"Well, i'm still alive so I think I can live with being crazy."[/B] Amer chuckled. He looked straight ahead.
[B]
"Were reaching the end of the abyss."[/B] Achilles smiled.
[B]
"Finally, this trip was getting really boring. Mabye i'll get Dreadnaught home after all."[/B] Achilles said to himself as they started to see a white light pushing through the pitch blackness of the void.[/SIZE][/COLOR]

[COLOR=DarkOrchid]"Listen to me Gale. [I]We[/I], are going back there with the others and seeing this to the end. You are not staying here. So he had a family to look forward to seeing, who's to say life under Elvish rule would have been better? Who?s to say that he could not have easily chosen another path? Is this Elf Lord so powerful? Having no more use for the warriors would he dispose of them himself later on?" [/COLOR] Chrys was trying to convince Gale verbally, she wouldn't drag him by force. It wasn't looking very good. What was suddenly so wrong to make the King buckle like this?

[COLOR=DarkOrchid]"You dying will not change the fact you killed them. It won't erase it from you. I told you, this is war. But it goes beyond that?whether you want to be or not, you are the King of Fujin now. It is your duty, your responsibility to protect them, the entire populous. Sacrifices have to be made, and yours will be pointless. Since when have you ever just given up? It's not a rhetorical question."[/COLOR] Her hands were on her hips, giving Gale a harsh look as he wouldn't look at her.

[COLOR=DarkOrchid]"Never?but it isn't the point,"[/COLOR] he said, not letting up.
[COLOR=DarkOrchid]"Why did you kill them?" [/COLOR]
The fire demon said, trying to lead Gale in baby steps to her point.
[COLOR=DarkOrchid]"To survive. But they had families! And I killed them in cold blood! Not like a king, not like a warrior!"
"So you can survive."
"Yes!"
"What does your life mean to Fujin itself? Why is it so important that you live, aside from the fact that all of us would miss you terribly?"[/COLOR]Gale didn't answer.

[COLOR=DarkOrchid]
"Protection. Guidance. Hope. If you stay here?you are abandoning all those people that need you, you are giving up and letting the Elf Lord take over. Suicide. Dooming your entire people," [/COLOR] she paused to let it sink in. [COLOR=DarkOrchid]"If you still cannot see it, I will have no choice then. You know how I feel about giving up like this, and you know I'd rather die then be under Elven rule, die fighting until my last breath if need be. And in meeting you again in the afterlife?I'll make your eternity hell. Will you go through with your little depressed suicide mission because of one man's family, and watch from death as the Kingdom of Fujin falls to the Elf Lord, and what ever results that would bring to the [I]thousands of lives for many generations[/I]? The choice is now your majesty."[/COLOR]

Chrys had never seriously called him anything other then Gale unless joking around before. It was a serious matter, and to emphasize the point she dropped the familiarity of calling him by his name.

[Lionheart]

The forest was ripping apart as Gale stared into Chry's eyes. His magesty? She had never called him that in a serious manner before.
"Listen, not to push you, but we need to get going." Gale nodded as they lift into the air and straight towards the void. In a flash of light, they where sucked through the hole as light surrounded Gale. At fist he thought he was dead, but the taste of sand soon changed his minde. He bounced off the ground as he tossed and turn around at the area. A ocean of sand.
"We're in the Fujin desert....I hope." He looked around and saw Chrys walking towards him, dusting the sand off her.
"Safe landing?" She asked as she helped Gale up.
"With these wounds." He looked around, due north was a small peak of the dwarf mountains.
"We need to head towards the mountains, then we'll get some info about the sitution."
"Gale....are you okay?" He stopped, trying to push aside of what happened in other world.
"Yeah...Come one, I sure we'll meet up with Achilles and the others soon."

[Disenchanted]

The forest dissolved around them as Graced and Emillio were sucked through the void. Grace woke to the feel of a hot slight breeze on her face. She spat out sand.

?Great a desert?of all the damn places?? she brushed more sand from her cloths and hair and took a good look around. A mountain range was a few hundreded meters away the sand slolwy faded into rock the closer the base of the mountan became.

"If anyone was brought here too that?s where they?d most likely head".

She spotted a human figure in the sand a few meters away from her. As Grace moved closer she realized it was Emillio.

?Thank heavens?at least I?m not alone.? [I]?Being alone shouldn?t bother me? [/I]she thought. [I]?Why does it?? [/I]

She spoke out loud to herself ?Get moving you idiot?? as she did Emillio woke to her sentence.

?So I?m an idiot now?? Grace jumped back at the daemons words

?What? No. I was?? he laughed a smile shot across his face.

?Relax?so um where are we besides being in a desert?? Emillio looked around.

?I was hoping you could tell me? she looked up at the sky into the burning sun ?Recognize anything??

?Those mountains look familiar, let?s head there It?s not that far.?

?Fine by me? Grace let Emillio take the lead, she watched as he took off towards the mountains. [I]?What?s this I?m felling??[/I] she thought.

?You coming or what?? Emillio shouted back to her. Graces floated down next to him.

"Convostaion to be continuted?" Grace shot a look up at him

"agreed" The two walked off together towards the near by mountains.

[Deadpool]

Sarin just barely made it through before the void closed. Amer and Achilles were already way on up ahead of him. "I need to hurry just incase there is some huge massive army waiting for them. at least more will go down instead of us being seperate." He began closing the distance on.

[Starwind]

Emilio was trudging through the sands toward the mountains in the distance. To him they looked like the morhtern mountains, his home. The only problem was, they were in the goron desert, just beyond the mountains. Out here his powers would amount to very little since there was no water for miles beyond the mountains of his homeland.

Grace followed closely, hovering lightly in the air as they moved. They ahd reached some plateau at this point, but for the moment that would have to be left in the air. Getting there barings back and finding there way around took priority, he had to keep his head straight or it could get them killed. This place was a death trap to those who didn't know it well. Few ever went beyond the mountains to come here. One, because there was nothing of any real value beyond the mountains, not even water. Two, this place was notorious for breeding the most dangerous types of monster. The demons here were often times starved and craved, very simple minded creatures.

They would have to count on Grace alot out here, there's no way they'll make it all the way unopposed. No sooner did he end this tought did the presense of a large and menacing demon appear. It didn't belong to his comrades, who were still lost. This one was foul, like it was derived from pure evil. It was too much, even for here. This was not coincidental, this was a trap out here meant to hold him down. Emilio looked to Grace as he drew a sword from the jug at his waist "I dont' have much power here in the desert since I'm a kappa. Your going to have to keep up a strong offensive and I'll do what I can for support."

Grace nodded to him as the putride energy grew closer and moved quicker with every second.

[Darth Vectis]

[COLOR=DarkGreen][SIZE=1]Achilles and Amer were hurring through the dry desert with Sarin catching up quickly, the slowed just for a few moments for Sarin to catch up and match their normal speed. They drew closer to the mountains with every step, they grew in size as they made their way past the tumble weeds, cactus and other dead shrubbery. Achilles stopped when they were close enough to the mountain side.

"I wonder where the others are."[/COLOR][/B] Achilles said as he looked up the sheer drop off the mountain and the jagged peaks and boulders that looked ready to fall off. He looked to Amer.[B]
[COLOR=DarkRed]
"Could you fly me up the mountain?"[/COLOR] [/B]Amer looked over the mountain side and back to Achilles nodding. Achilles nodded to himself.
[COLOR=DarkRed][B]
"Hmmm, this could work."[/B][/COLOR] Then they heard a crash as something hit the mountains face, Achilles drew his weapon along with Amer and Sarin preparing to change forms. They saw a hulking monster slowly push itself from its hole. It was bleeding and cut badly but it seemed like it effect it very little.

Achilles then saw Emilio and Grace faighting the demon, Grace using her force of the wind to tear at the demon with Emilio lashing out at random times to throw it further off balance. Achilles split his sword with the chain attached to both ends, he creeped behind the best and quickly threw the chain round it's neck and pulled him down. He looked to the two as he kept the monster down.
[B][COLOR=DarkRed]
"It would be nice if you could kill him now. I can't hold him down forever."[/B][/COLOR] Achilles grunted with the effort of holding this massive creatuer down with just his chain. The swords handles slipped and was now gripping the blades bare handed, they cut into his palms and bleed freely. He maintained his tight grip, pushing past the pain.
[COLOR=DarkRed][B]
"Somebody finish him!"[/B][/COLOR] Achilles held the blades waiting for someone to make the killing blow.[/SIZE][/COLOR]

[Kuroshin13]

Chrys sighed. [COLOR=DarkOrchid]"I hope you're right." [/COLOR] She looked in the direction of the mountains. They were pretty far away. She walked with Gale in the direction, hoping they would meet friendly company before the unfavorable Elven presence. [COLOR=DarkOrchid]"You know, just our luck would be that we ended up the farthest away out of anybody."[/COLOR]

Gale laughed a little, and she joined him.[COLOR=DarkOrchid] "Maybe," [/COLOR] he said. [COLOR=DarkOrchid]"If so, do you think the others will wait up for us before going on ahead?"[/COLOR]

Chrys laughed a little more. [COLOR=DarkOrchid]"It depends on what they find when they meet up with each other."[/COLOR]

After a while they had walked pretty far, but were still a good deal away from the mountains. Was it really the Dwarf range? Or was it another in the North? Hard to tell. The fire demon stopped short, shaking her head. Gale stopped soon after, looking a bit tired. [COLOR=DarkOrchid]"What is it?"

"Since you had to just keep running off without giving yourself any time to heal up a bit, you're in no condition for this walk. It'll be faster if I just carry you while flying?And don't argue."[/COLOR]

Gale nodded, and she helped him onto her back before taking to the skies. They were making much better time now, and would be catching up to the others fairly soon. [COLOR=DarkOrchid]"Gale?"
"Yea?"
"I was wondering, about what you said in the forest?before knocking me out of the sky that is."[/COLOR]

Amer looked around then growled, "Guess waiting was on everyone's mind. Fine then." His body began to change into his earth form. His body began to change into stone, then finally, a horn grew on his head. He seemed to be half bear, half bull, with something else mixed in.

"Hurry up!" Achilles yelled, looking at Amer.

"You asdked for it." Amer said, then he raised his fist, and slammed it down on the beasts head, crushing its skull. after a second to make sure it was dead, he changed back to normal.

"Where did you find the demon?" Amer asked, turning to Emilio and Grace.

[Disenchanted]

Grace flew up into the air after Emillio spotted the creature. She extended her hand in front of her and a sudden burst of wind came from all directions, in hr out stretched hand appeared a double bladed sword. She flew at the creature swinging left and right hacking away at it and flinging supersonic waves, Emillio joined her in support cutting away at the beast with his watery blade. The creature swung back at her, taking her off guard and hitting her across the chest.

Undeterred she looked at the creature through the hair that had fallen into her eyes. She raised her sword above her head and called. ?Wind strike!? an up gust of wind surrounded the daemon bringing sand and rocks with it, the wind fell and everything became dead calm. In front of gray sand started to kick up and swirl. A tornado the size of the beast whipped up from the sand hurling rocks and debris.

Grace flung the tornado towards the beast. It flailed inside the tornado fighting the wind and all that it had brought with it. Grace called the tornado off as the creature was held down by Achilles dreadnaught. She looked up at him as he yelled for someone to finish it.

Amer Crushed the daemons skull and Grace flew down beside Emillio.

"We didn't find it, It found us" she smirked. "I have crossed deserts like this tens of times, monsters such as that are not uncommon, I could have finished it on my own." She shot a glance at Achilles and Amer. Emillio stepped in.

"Enough, we must find Chrys and Gale"

Grace left the 3 to talk amongst them selves as she flew up into the air to get a better look. She shouted to them interrupting their convocation.

"You will not have to look long; I can see them on the horizon. We wait?" she flew down a few meters away from the rest and sat on top of a bolder and waited for Chrys and Gale to arrive, a little bruised and scratched.

[Starwind]

Emilio looked to Achilles and Amer "So does anyone know what just happend here?"

They all shook there heads. Achilles stepped in "This place feels like home. It looks like the goron desert."

Emilio nodded "I agree, but til we reach the mountains and see the other side there's no way to be sure, but I'm pretty confident."

They all nodded. Achilles looked up to the now fading Grace, then turned to Emilio "Can we trust her?"

Emilio spoke up "I think so."

"Yeah, but your not always the best judge of character" Spouted Amer in a sudden burst. Emilio took a grim expression and Amer stepped back in "I'm sorry man. That was uncalled for."

Emilio shook his head "No, your right. I'm no good at reading people. I'll let it go this time. You should probably keep our eyes on her a bit longer, but I think I trust her a little bit better."

Achilles nodded "Alright. Let's head on forward. We can't do much for her to help if she's gonna fly."

Emilio nodded "If this is the goron desert then my people will give us refuge in those mountains. It is my home land after all."

they all nodded and continued to the mountain range in the distance.

[Darth Vectis]

[COLOR=DarkGreen][SIZE=1]As the other started walking Achilles started to rip out stripps in his shirt, Emilio turned and looked at him questionable.
[COLOR=DarkRed][B]
"What the hell are you doing?"[/B][/COLOR] Achilles stuck one end his mouth and begand to wrapp his hands up in his white shirt.
[COLOR=DarkRed][B]
"My hands have been cut open, and i'd rather not die from infection or sever blood loss. Wouldn't you agree?"[/B][/COLOR] Achilles tightened the bandaged and tied it off, he started on the other and started walking next to Emilio.
[COLOR=DarkRed][B]
"You make sense. We'll fix you up when we reach home."[/B][/COLOR] Achilles finished off the second one and tied it securely. They white strips were already turning a hugh of red, his shirt now torn up at the bottom showing an inch or two of his skin. Achilles pulled Dreadnaught out looking at the blood that now coated Dreadnaught. His blood. Emilio spoke.
[COLOR=DarkRed][B]
"Grown on you has it?"[/B][/COLOR] Achilles smiled then looked at Emilio.
[COLOR=DarkRed][B]
"He has. I have a request Emilio." [/B]
[B]
"What is?"[/B][/COLOR] Achilles took a deep breath then spoke.
[B][COLOR=DarkRed]
"When this war is over, I want you to take Dreadnaught back."[/B][/COLOR] Emilio looked at him with shock.
[B][COLOR=DarkRed]
"Are you feeling ok? Are you sure your not infected already."[/COLOR][/B] Achilles rolled his eyes.
[B][COLOR=DarkRed]
"I'm serious. When this end you must take him back and keep him hidden until he is needed again. Agreed?"[/COLOR][/B] Achilles waited for his response. Emilio looked at him for a few moments then spoke.
[B][COLOR=DarkRed]
"Before I agree to this, why are you making this request? Why not bring him back yourself?[/COLOR]"[/B] Achilles looked out at the horizan as if he was serching for something out their. Achilles spoke with out looking at him.
[B][COLOR=DarkRed]
"Because I have a feeling I'm not gonna see the end of the war. Now do you agree or not?"[/COLOR][/B] Emilio stared at him, he wasn't sure if he Achilles was going crazy from infection of the heat was getting to him.
[B][COLOR=DarkRed]
"Agreed. If you somehow can't bring Dreadnaught back. I will take him home and put him back where he will remain hidden."[/COLOR][/B] Achilles put one hand on his shoulder.
[B][COLOR=DarkRed]
"Thank you. Dreadnaught appreciates it."[/COLOR][/B] Achilles removed his hand and looked forward, staring into the horizan once more.[/SIZE][/COLOR]

[Lionheart]

[FONT=Arial]Gale looked down around them at the desert ground. He scanned back to that other world memories and remembered what he said to her.
"Oh...mmm, that was just a....um..." He didn't know what to say, he thought he would kill himself fighting against Leo that he said what popped in his head. I last farwell?
"You said 'I love you.'"
"Yes, I do. We've been friends for so long..."
"You love me as a friend? Is that what your saying?" Gale looked at the clouds as they flied towards the mountains. Why doesn't he tell the truth?
"....yeah....Just friends..." In the inside he was crushed, he should have just told her how he felt, now he couldn't change it. Guess the king will die alone.
"We're almost there." Chrys this time whispered. Gale gazed at the back of her head.
"Okay..."
[/FONT]

[Deadpool]

Sarin watched Chrys land next to them exhausted and the young king slid off her back onto the ground as she fell to her knees. "I say we wait here until they get their strength back, their not much use if they can't even stand they are just free targets" He turned as Amer nodded. "I'll get some fire wood" Sarin strod off down the mountain side till he came to the forest. He clenched his fists as he transformed into a huge golem

He grabbed a tree in each hand and easily ripped them up the ground and began his climb up the mountain, each step making the ground shake a little and a loud noise. After awhile he came over the ridge where the group was and almost laughed when all except Amer tensed for a fight.

"Easy, it is just Sarin. A new form I see"

Sarin set one tree down and broke the other in half and placed the remainder by the other tree. He set the tree in the middle as three small buildings came upout of the ground and Sarin changed into human form. "Amer, would you like to due the honors" He turned to Gale and draped his arm over his shoulder as he whispered to himself. "He looks like he got his heart broken?" He noticed that Gale keep glancing back at Chrys. "Ahh, so she's the lucky one. Hmm..." He whispered in Gale's ear. "I'll see what I can do for you" He took him into one of the houses that had three raised platforms so people could sleep. He held out a hand as a dark void covered each then disappeared leaving blankets. He laid Gale down on one and removed the outer armor and laid his sowrd by his bed. "Rest well king" Sarin came back out. "Achilles, Emillo you can chose where you sleep and Me and Amer will take whatever is left. There is two beds in th one I put Gale in and two in that one right there. The other is for the girls" He picked Chrys up as Amer lit the tree with a huge fireball and did the same with the girl's room before setting her down on one. He paused right before leaving, his cloak fluttering in the breeze revealing impure demon arm. "You may not know this, but Gale is in love with you and from what I guess tried to tell you that, but you broke his heart. I don't know if you meant to or not, but I thought you should know that the knig most likely wants to share his crown with you" He left and sat down next ot the fire as a void appeared next to him leaving drinks. "Anyone want a cold one?"

[Darth Vectis]

[COLOR=DarkGreen][SIZE=1]Achilles sat down and relaxed in front of the fire, stretching out and getting comfortable. Sarin passed him one of the drinks, Achilles sipped at it.

"Been waiting for one of these."[/B] Achilles sipped at it somemore then set it down. He lied down next to the fire with his hands on the back of his head. He looked up into the sky as it slowly truned from the twilight hugh to the deep purple and blue of the night sky. He saw stars slowly appear in bright lights of pure light and the moon was just coming out from the horizan. He felt at home once more.

"This is great. I feel like the world is not even there."[/B] Grace spoke up.

"How can you be so relaxed? Their is an elven army taking the land for themselves and destroying everything in their sight!"[/B] Achilles sat up and let his arms fall to his side, he looked to Grace.

"Because I cannot just dwell on the thought of an approching battle. The only proper time to think of killing another person is in the moment when you are facing another man who is going to take your life if you hesitate. So war is the farthest thing from my mind right now."[/B] Achilles remembered his hands and looked at the reddened cloth, he grabbed a stry stick from the ground and broke it in, he then pulled Dreadnaught out and set some of the blade in the fire. The metal started to heat until it turned to a white hot color. He unwrapped his bandages and and snatched the stick.

"Achilles, what are you doing?"[/B] Amer asked while sipping at his drink.
[B]
"Well, I have to seal my wounds or die from infection. I'd rather not die so soon."[/B] He stuck the stick in his mouth and bit down on it. He grabbed the handle of the sword, which was still cool, and he pressed the white hot part of the blade against his palm. A nasty hiss came from the wound and Achilles grunted bitting harder on the stick, he took it off after a few moments and looked at it.

It had sealed up and was a blackish color. He switched hands and pressed the blade to it. The hiss followed once more and Achilles bit hard on the stick, he pulled it away and spit the stick out, he laid Dreadnaught donw on the ground and let the cold desert air cool it.

"That looked like it hurt like hell."[/B] Emilio said plainly. Achilles nodded.

"It did, it hurt a lot more then that. Your lucky your not human when it comes to wounds."[/B] Emilio nodded his agreement, Achilles grabbed his drink and finished it off quickly. He set the drink down and grabbed Dreadnaught that had cooled off by now and resheathed him. Achilles stood up an cracked his neck.

"Well I'm off to bed. See you all in the morning."[/B] He walked off and made his way to his bed, keeping Dreadnaught close just incase. He feel deeply into sleep, dreaming of what the other side would look like.[/SIZE][/COLOR]

Chrys couldn't say anything. Any words she could have mustered in her defense then would have sounded pathetic and cruel. Gale had said 'just friends'?but even she was not blind enough to overlook the feeling that there was something being hidden from her. [I]'But how could I have- oh, I see?'[/I] She shouldn't have asked, should have just let the whole thing drop.

At the same time that she was miserable, the fire demon couldn't help but be a little irritated at some of Sarin's words, and they way they sounded. He wasn't there; he didn't know what was said. With a choked sigh, Chrysanthema faced away and closed her eyes. She decided to just stay away from the king for a while?at least until they both had a time to 'cool off' for lack of a better term. Chrys fell into a light asleep with a heavy heart.

Emilio sat on the ground sipping at his drink. He looked to the others, everyone seemed a bit distraught at the moment. Was this really such a taxing journey, or was there something else going on? It seemed like the world they once had was gone and now they all had some inner demon that was wrenching there hearts.

Emilio was no better, the image of Kamilla haunted him with every time he looked at Grace. What's worse, he couldn't bring himself to hate either of them, even if at least Kami deserved it. How could they beat the elves if they could barely over come there own issues. Emilio got to his feet and went to Grace "We're about to go into the face of total war with this seemingly unstoppable enemy."

Grace turned to him "And your point being?"

Emilio turned his head for a moment the looked back to her "If we can't settle our own problems then we could never win. As long as there is something the hearts we carry we can never dedicate ourselves to this mission which is the only way were going to win."

Emilio looked up to the others who were all sitting around them "That goes for all of us. I look to every one here and I see nothing but heavy hearts and shatterd wills. We have to use what little time we have left to resolve these issues, or face total annihilation in the face of our enemies."

Emilio looked back to Grace only and put his hand forward "Would you please come with me. I know we agreed later, but we need to settle this now."

She nodded and the two went off alone into the forest.

[FONT=Arial] Gale laid on his bed and looked to the wall. 3 years sleeping in a nice cozy bed and now this. He had never slept like this since the war. Now he's in another one. He tried to sleep, but images of Chrys kept him up.
"Come one, get over it." He whispered as he finally drift to sleep. His dream wasn't pleasent as fire consumed everything, his kingdom, his soldiers, even his friends. Achilles, Emilio, Grace, the demon brothers, and even Chrys. He jumped in reality as sweat poured down his body. He was breathing heavily as the sun was barely coming up. Everyone was still in bed. He walked out and looked at the mountain above. He will be the first to see it. He walked to the trail and followed it to the top. The sun was now coming up as it showed over the valley. He gasped as he fell to his knees. A place covered in forests and rivers was now a waste land. The wasteland was covered with bodies of demons and humans. It was sick to see woman and children where also in the group. His people were slain. When they needed a king the most, he wasn't there. He pounded his fist against the ground as it bleed from the knuckles. Those monsters...
"I'm going to kill you....Orion.." He was about to run out to the wasteland when he spotted something from the corner of his eye. It was only a glimpse, but it was enough.
"Scouts..." He put his back against the hard stone as he reached for his sword. He only touched his hip.
"Shit...No sword." He saw it again, the scout was coming closer. He crawled over to the next rock, near the scout. Time to make a move. He roared as he ran up at the expecting scout. He pulled out a short sword and slashed away. Gale dodged away, he'd rarely fought without his sword. He grabbed a rock on the ground and threw it at the elf's head. He dodged as Gale came up and bashed him on the temple. The elf went down as Gale took his sword.
"Wheres your friends?!"
"...behind you." He turned around to see a dozen of elfs pointed there arrows at the king.
"Your coming with us, my lord. Our own king would like to meet you." They even called him a lord. A feeling he gotten when he killed the '4 warriors' a wicked smile came over his face. He cut the scouts throat as blood sprayed over the place. The elfs stood in shock as he threw down the sword.
"Going to have catch me."
"Running from a fight?" The voice echoed in his ears as he gasped. A human stood in front of him, along with a archmage.
"C-commander Brown!! What are you doing?!" He grinned as he pulled out his sword.
"I have a new king...I must kill the enemy."
"Your Belian's son!! He was like a father to me!" A elf came over to brown and gave him a sword. Gale's sword! The Commander threw it to Gale as he laughed.
"My soldier did you a favor. It wasn't easy bring a King away from his base and capturing his men." The others!!
"You have two opinions. One, fight me. two, your friends die. I'll give the word." Gale gripped his sword as he got ready. Brown charged as he slashed wildly at his former king.
"I don't play games with kids!" He smashed his hilt into Brown's gut as Gale felt pain in his side. He flew back to the right as he turned. The archmage with light blue air stood with his fingers pointing at Gale.
"Oh met my partner, Artemis. The strongest archmage in Fujin!" Galr growled as Brown wanted to fight him with his mage behind him. His sword glew as he frowned at Brown.
"Your Father would be dispointed with you." He attacked as he saw alittle anger in Brown's eyes.[/FONT]

Damn the elves and their sneaky movements, taking the camp by surprise like that. She was awoken clumsily by sounds of battle, it seemed as if they had started the party without her. Couldn?t blame them though, she was having a hard time fending of the elves that had surprised her as well. The sun was barely up, and the numbers were overwhelming.

It didn't take long to realize that the point wasn't to kill them?they intended to take the group alive for some odd reason she didn't feel like pondering at the moment. She stood in the middle of a ring of arrows and swords. [COLOR=DarkOrchid]"Don't you vile creatures ever take a time out?"[/COLOR] she growled angrily before making a point to take each and every head off one by one as they tried to catch up with her sudden burst of speed, even for demon standards. Her eyes started fading into more of an orangey tone, but she kept in check. Chrys really hated Elves.

Watching her comrades' movements from the corners of her eyes, she tallied up quickly who was around and who wasn't. Emilio and Grace were missing; they must have been out talking when the ambush stuck. Hopefully lucky enough to not be attacked as well. Rising in the air above the din a bit, she looked around and noticed Gale was gone too. An unidentifiable pang ripped through her heart. It was the last straw. Her dark eyes fully changed to a fiery orange, and she cut through more of them with a Fire Scourge before getting knocked out of the sky by an Archmage from behind. From either side Elves pounced on the opportunity, holding her still. She laughed maliciously as they jerked her to her feet, intending to burn them away in one shot with some of her newer techniques.

The fire demon stopped short, hearing the division leader's response to his underlings' cries of 'We got one of them'. [COLOR=DarkOrchid]"If you want to see your precious King again, I suggest you calm down and stay put like a good little demon scum," [/COLOR] it said. She spat at the Elf's face, but nonetheless backed down from her planned retaliation. They had Gale?

[COLOR=DarkGreen][SIZE=1]Achilles heard the fight but didn't charge in, he hid in the brush wtaching carfully. Slowly moving through the dried sticks and bushes. He saw Chrys fight feriosuly then step down when the officer said they had a member of their party held captive.

Achilles could see the force size was made purposly for their captuer, so he doubted they would kill Gale if one of them resisted. But he saw this would be a perfect time to put in effect his newest technique of killing a man. He moved silently behind an elf and waited for the other elves to look forward and pay attention to Chrys.

'Come on. Turn around already.'[/I] As Achilles thought that they turned to see if Chrys was going to provide a fight, Achilles quickly reacted. He snatched the elfs arm and pulled him down while simutaniously stabbing him in one of his kidneys then lighting fast bringing his blade up and severing the elfs head.

He caught the body and caught the head on Dreadnaught and pulled him into the brush. He laid him down and pulled the head off silently and placed it next the elfs body he moved back into his spot crouched position.

"Just need to kill a few more before I can charge in."[/B] He whispered quietly to himself as he saw two elves move into a prefect formation for him to strike. He quickly leaped on the back of one and stabbed him in his lung, then leaped off and stabbed the other one in the same spot.

He back flipped until he was facing the other one, the elf drew his blade but Achilles quickly brought his arm up to keep him from striking. He then stabbed him in the chest and the elf fell over dead, he quickly turned around and stabbed the elf once more in the other lung.

He soon fell to the gound dead as well. Achilles then charged in at the group, forgetting the reason for his quiet kills. He slaughtered several elves before they attacked him in a collective and brought him down. Even then he thrashed and struggled severally, one of the elves held a pike and stabbed Achilles once through the stomach.

Achilles kept struggling, but a little less and the elf jabbed once more in the chest. Achilles stopped struggling and laid on the floor, bleeding frealy but still maintained consiousness.[/SIZE][/COLOR]
