Orange Range - Orenji Renji

Alright. so. has anyone heard of *one* of the newest bands (i think :animestun ) from Japan? Orange Range..?

I just started listening to their songs and I find myself getting to like them very much. Some of their songs include:

-Hana
-Asterisk (--BLEACH first opening)
-Viva Rock (--One of the Naruto endings)
-Yuugu Red (sp?)

and umm :animeshy: that's all i know for now... well --

I just jumped on limewire about 10 mins ago and rattled out a ton of their stuff, and most of it is quite cool. Check em out on wikipedia though, their meant to be con artists whos slogan is "rip-off" BWAHAHAHAHA ^^ :animesmil

Orange Range isn't [i]that[/i] new. But yeah, I don't get the "Romantic Version" of Asterisk. Maybe it's because I don't understand what he's saying. 8 )

I like Orange Range when they sing, but I find it amusing when they rap.

[color=darkblue][size=1]Orange Range is one of my more favorite Japanese groups, mainly because a lot of their songs are so fun to listen to. Admittedly, I first listened to their work via Naruto's third ending (Viva Rock- Japanese Side) and BLEACH's first opening theme (Asterisk from the album of the same title), but since then, I have listened to a lot more of their stuff and it's easy on the ears for me. A lot of it gets me excited and wanting to do stuff, so it's great to get me in the mood for homework, heh. There are a couple of songs where they have a few too many voices going at once, but can still manage to pull off a good track nine times out of ten.[/color][/size]

[COLOR=SlateGray][SIZE=1]Orange Range was one of the first J-Rock/Pop/What Have You bands I ever really listened to on a regular basis, thanks to, as with most people it seems, the Naruto ED. It was very cool to hear them at the beginning of Bleach, too, because I'd already become a fan before then. Viva Rock and Asterisk remain two of my favorite songs, but they have since been passed by some of the band's less-heard songs on this side of the big blue.

One of the interesting things about Orange Range, though, is the variety in their sound. I mean, play Hana or Michishirube next to Kiri Kiri Mai. You can tell it's the same band, yes, but only barely. They switch so effortlessly from lyrical and, quite simply, beautiful to hard edged and rough. Not to demean their more rappish efforts, of course, as Kiri Kiri Mai is a personal favorite.[/SIZE][/COLOR]

yeah, i noticed that. At first i thought i downloaded something different and i was all "oh great now i have to go out and re-find the song again" but then after listening to the song for a few more minutes i realised oh wait, no. This is Orange Range. :animesmil

What cute music they make! XD I think I first heard them a couple years ago, with their songs Locolotion and Zung Zung Funky Music. It's very light, silly sounding stuff that I enjoy. I thought Hana was pretty too.

I really liked Asterisk after first seeing Bleach, but the effect wasn't the same for Viva Rock after seeing Naruto. The song's okay I suppose, it's just not my favorite.

I think my favorite's continued to be Locolotion. It's just so...XD I don't know. It was the first song of theirs that I heard, so maybe it's the nostalgic feeling.

lol yeah, i find that the music they make is fairly cute :animesmil although i really like Locolotion, I think Hana is my favourite song by them, followed closely by Locolotion
