2010DigitalBoy
I am bored. Like, really, really bored. So bored, in fact, that I plan to spend the majority of the time I'm not at school sleeping. What do you do when you have nothing to do? I don't wanna become a vegetable, you gotta help me!
ForgottenRaider
Chatting on IRC, uni assignments, work, learning computer langs, movies, tv shows, general internet surfing. There is plenty to do and if I can't find anything interesting I just go to mates and hang out. Fun stuff. :)

Raiyuu
Billie_Forever, please don't double post. As you'll see in OB's Rules, double posting is considered spam. Just use the EDIT button if you want to add to your post. IRC is a chat program. Mates are friends. Computer langs are computer languages, like HTML, C++ and Perl. I don't get a lot of boredom time right now (lots of holiday work from university to be getting on with). But if I'm at a loose end, I'll usually play Kingdom Hearts or learn some new songs on my guitar. That or take a walk. Some fresh air really clears out the boredom cobwebs. WindFox17
ahh HTML the language so makeing websites something that can come easy. 2010DigitalBoy
I have always considerd learning computer jargon, but how-to books are expensive. Is there any cheap way to learn it? That kind of thing could prove useful to me...

2010DigitalBoy
Well, there is one thing I could do, andd that's try to succeed in school, but Im looking for something small to do, yknow, just something to do that is actually fun and I can... um... do. I'm sick and tired of just sitting around playing video games and talking to strangers over the internet, when theres stuff to do. I just dont know where to start. IceRose
When I'm bored I just go out, even during the rain. I mean if I stay home that means that the only thing I can do is go online and bake cookies, I usually go running or jump around the place trying to get my arm back to its normal strenght. :animeswea

2010DigitalBoy
It's funny to me to see that people do those things when they are bored, but my problem is that I am bored of doing those things. I guess my real question should be "what are you doing when you have something to do?" because then I could do that. Or... something like that :animeswea Anyway, it's sad, but I don't get out much. I spend almost all my time with my two brothers keeping them company. I feel bad for them... we're going through a rough time and neither of them has any friends so I've magically been roped into becoming their entertainer :animesigh I don;t have any friends, myself, so I got no one to hang out with, and I'm not alound to stray far from my house. So... yeah, I'm practically inhaling monotony.
Claire
Boredom is crap. Not just any kind of crap, more like exotic Australian crap. Only there's nothing interesting about exotic Australian crap, even if it's exotic. xP I could guess that I spend at *least* close to twelve hours on the internet, which could seem like I'm some lifeless person with nothing better to do but eat and sleep. I probably have some better things to do, I just don't do them. I play The Movies a lot, and I record myself playing guitar. Music is most of my life, too, so maybe you should get a Yahoo! Launchcast radio and try out some things you've never heard before? Depends on how much you care about music, I guess. Other than that, I can't really help you. =P I hate it when I get bored of all the stuff that keeps me from being bored. Then I just feel like there's nothing more to life, and I get veeeery restless. >=(

Revel in the fact that there is nothing that the world is asking of you, for soon that will change.
I recently spent a few days at home, not being asked to go out and pick anyone up, write anything, draw anything, not seeing friends, or doing anything at all, really. I loved the first two-three days, but after that it really started to hit me how much I like activity, albeit in manageable chunks. Most of the time I look at the same websites over and over again in an ever-slowing cycle of boredom and hope that someone'll post. Being in a different timezone from most other forums users is quite irritating at times, heh. Although it's not as if I post a great deal anyway, but meh. Thankfully right now I have Tales of Symphonia to while away my boredomtime, and it suits incredibly well ^_^ That's been my lack of activity lifeline at the moment... that and [strike]drawing[/strike] painstakingly copying a world map onto a piece of card about a metre wide >.>; That'll soak up a spare week.
renayiiq
What I do is I take one of those plastic pens from BiC, you know, the clear-cased ones that are in a hexagon or octagon shape, and I take it, pit it between the row of teeth on the right side, and wiggle it up and down. It makes a really cool *clack-click-clack* sound. It keeps me occupied. Another thing that I do is that I take the pen, and i put it either between my forefinger and middle finger, or between my middle finger and ring finger, so that the ball-point of the pen is facing the opposite way that my palm is facing. I wiggle my hand and tap it against my thumb nail. I also wiggle my leg, tap my fingers, etc. And if I'm by myself in my house or in my room, I put on a dancey synthpop song and just stand there, feet apart, and wiggle my hips from side to side slowly, while bobbing my head and sometimes moving my shoulders, too. I swear, it's not dancing. It's "I want to dance but I would rather just wiggle and move alot to get the hyperness and boredom out of me." It's fun when you're bored. Starwind
If I have nothing to do, I'm usually here. This is more fun then most anything else I can do at home. I can't contact many of my friends, at least before nine (Damn cell phone hours). Anyway, I find this place to be very interesting and spend most of the free time I have here. That or modifying my online journal account to let people know what I'm thinking about that particular day. Yes, people really do care about what I'm thinking. Persona
When I have nothing to do...then I find something to do, I'm just messing with you people. Anyhow, when I'm bored and have nothing of importance to do...I simply grab a book of my liking or write. They both keep me busy in many ways, especially with time. My greatest writings come from boredom, so I thank not having anything else to do at times...it helps get me out of my procrastination stage for writing and catching up to my favorite books.
celestialcharm
When I have nothing to do, I check my e-mail, go on boards, and talk on MSN. Also, I might read a book, watch tv, or write a story. Then if all fails, I would go read some fan fiction.
2010DigitalBoy
See, writing I think is a good idea, but I stopped doing that because I'm the only one who reads it in the end. I've written 4 complete poetry books and absolutely no one has read them. I try to show them to my friends or post them here, but no one is ever interested. That's why I started posting my opinion of every single piece that enters the Anthology... so that everyone at least has one person who reads their stuff. (They're studying, which is even more monotonous because it's quiet.) See? It's disruptive. I get in trouble all of the time from my teachers just for clicking my pen. Gavin
Interesting, most interesting. What do I do when I have nothing to do ? In all honesty I prepare myself to have some ridiculously tedious task be asked of me, because my younger siblings have managed to make deft exits from the house and my parents are too lazy to do it themselves. Now that's in the evening when everyone is home, during the day I often just either plant myself in front of the TV, that or I write away at some RPG idea that's come into my head and that's generally it.
