Erebus strode down the hallway of his grand castle, fire in his eyes. The gate was now open, and they would need to send forces in to begin conquering that world. The light would be sending in creatures in no time, and he couldn't afford to give Apolla a head start. He needed the Creation if he was to obtain ultimate power. He refused to become a slave to the light. He burst into the beautifully decorated grand chamber and yelled to his henchman.

"Send the Catalysts as soon as possible. We need to awaken the darkness in people's hearts before the light spreads throughout their being." He walked over to the large computer dead center of the room, the Gateway. From this central spot, the warp portals could be used to transport their creatures, the Catalysts, and, if necessary, Erebus himself. He grinned in sick pleasure as he chose the first beast to send to devastate the planet.

He thought thoroughly. He knew that there would be a third force fighting against him, one not of his legion or the lights. They could pose a problem, so he would have to send a powerful creature. However, he could not afford to destroy the world, for the gate to the Creation would be lost forever, wherever it might be. His grin widened as he thought of the perfect beast.

"Send the Grande Dragon. Immediately!"

+++++

Helios stared at Athena oddly. The others had woken up, and Athena had something important to tell them. Helios swiftly looked over Artemis again, it was his third time doing so, but he wanted to make sure she was alright. He didn't want to take any chances. He couldn't lose her. His thoughts were broken as Athena began talking.

"You, the Council of Eight, are special youths. Each of you have been imbued with the abilities needed to protect the world from the forces of light and darkness." Helios would have laughed, but he did not doubt her. He was shaking still from what happened to him, but he held firm to Artemis none-the-less. Athena gave them a second then began speaking again.

?Your powers more or less coincide with your names. Helios,? she walked in front of him and spoke again, doing this for them all, ?can manipulate fire and heat. Artemis can manipulate the wind, Hade can manipulate flames, use necromancy, and use his inner energies to empower himself. Pandora can shoot plasma blast from her body. Peres can control the shadows, the earth, can shape-shift and has limited telepathic powers. Cerberus and Achilles and have immeasurable strength. Aries can use flames as well, and is powerful to. But now?? She halted and laughed as she pointed behind them

Students who had been killed in the destruction were seemingly being brought back to life. They rose up, but something was wrong with them. They were baring fangs, and it looked like their face was peeling off. Behind them stood a man in a trench coat, but only for a moment. He disappeared quickly, and the children began to change. Their skin became black and metallic, and they hunched forwards. Their eyes became fox-like and purely red. Their nails became talons, and they had odd symbols on their foreheads. Athena finished speaking.

?Now is time for you to test your abilities. Do not worry about hurting them, they are no longer humans. They cannot be saved. You must destroy them before they destroy you. Then only can you learn of your destinies. They have been corrupted by a light Catalyst.? Helios spoke swiftly.

?Catalyst, what?s---? A creature lunged at him. He quickly jumped from the way and drew his blade, which now looked slightly different. It was white and black, with a crimson sun in the middle of the hilt, and an odd symbol on the blade, different from the creatures. He struck at the beast, sending a plume of flame at it unwillingly. He looked at the crowd of creatures and trembled. There were so many? He grimaced and turned to the others.

?This is our destiny! If we truly are meant to save the world, then we have to win now. We have no choice but to fight them all. Only together can we defeat such a large number. Everyone, strike!?
+++++

OOC: Here ya go! Sorry it took me so long. Here?s our first battle, and only if we survive can we fulfill our destiny. Prove your strength an unlock some of your abilities to best your opponents. About half way through the battle, the Grande Dragon will interupt. I'll do this, so don't worry. After this battle, things will get trippy and interesting to say the least. Enjoy!

Artemis wasn't sure to believe Athena, it was hard to believe. But then the creatures arose and started to move toward them. She was starting to believe Athena now.

Artemis stared at the transformed creatures. She had known a lot of them, and they were gone, and now they were told they had to defeat them. She leapt away from Helios and ran swiftly, a group was following her and were catching up. Artemis pushed off from the ground and jumped onto part of a crumbled wall.

She pulled out her bow and plucked an arrow from her quiver, they had changed, they looked more majestic and newer than they had previously. She hastily fitted it to her arrow and aimed. As she released the arrow, she felt cool air surrounding her. The projectile sliced through the air, spiralling swiftly to imbed itself into the center of the symbol on the forehead of one the creatures.

Artemis pulled out three arrows and fitted them all onto the string, she angled them so they were pointing almost completely up. She released sending all of them flying at the same time and they shot into the air before plummeting downwards, moving seemingly on their own accord to make their targets in three other foreheads.

Feeling more confident she continued to fire off barrages of arrows. The creatures could predict her now and grabbed her as she was putting up more arrows. They pulled the bow out of her grip and tossed it far away, back from where she had run from. Artemis squirmed, they were squeezing her tightly, allowing the others to attack.

"Let me go!!!" she screamed.

A tornado whipped around her and ripped the creatures away from her, pulling them into the sky. Her eyes were narrowed, the wind pulled at her hair and clothes but didn't affect her in any way. Artemis took a step into the tornado that surrounded her, she was sucked up the funnel and circled around calmly. She got high enough and got herself pushed out. She stretched out her arms and was carried by the wind. Artemis dropped to the ground and rolled carefully, landing beside her bow.

She fired off a few bunches of arrows and got rid of the rest of the group that had followed her out. The tornado died down and the bodies fell to the ground. Artemis wondered what had happened with the tornado but started to run back to the others to help them out.

Cerberus sat in an awkward position, unsure of the goings on of her surroundings. She slowly began to stand up, then she saw the woman.
Athena.
"Cerberus, hurry. Use your strength. You know what to do, and always have done. Unleash your inner hound and rain destruction on your enemies!" she said and turned away to speak a few words with the other council members.
All of a sudden, things rushed back into Cerberus' mind. She quickly remembered what was happening and her eyes revealed what was happening around her. She saw the metallic beasts in front of her, with talons as long as kitchen knives, and the fangs of a sabertooth. Pieces of human flesh dropped of their bodies in small chunks, and they greedily licked each other clean, eating the scraps of their former selves.

Due to unknown circumstances, the 14-year-old girl that now drew her whip was nothing like the person she once was. Her lithe body was now far more well toned than before. As she reached into a small satchel, linked on to her belt, she felt her muscles flex. She quickly yet carefully selected an attachment for her whip, which looked similar to a large scythe-blade.
She hastily fastened it to the end of her whip, and began to draw her whip-arm back to strike. Something was odd though.

As she turned her head away from the masses of rising monsters three of them saw their chance and lunged at her in a seemingly synchronised attack. Cerberus' ears pricked up, and she spun around to face them, twirling her whip around her head, then spinning it around her body in a wide circle. The scythe-blade hit each creature twice, tearing large gashes in their hardenning metallic flesh. All three fell in the same heartbeat, almost as synchronised as their attack had been.

Cerberus flicked her whip back to her side and saw what she had sensed before. Her whip now had large metal blades along its entire length. The blades appeared to be sectioned off, and linking them her once leather whip cord was now a strong fibre of unknown origin. A sudden thought occured to her. She assumed it was sparked by the sight of Athena staring at her in the distance, giving her a wink.
Was this strange new weapon a gift?
"What do I do?" Cerberus asked, confused as can be.
Flick it again you half-wit! her mind screamed at her. No, not her mind, it felt different to her usual thoughts. It was Cilla.
Cerberus decided to trust her former self and flicked the whip once in her hand. The blades clicked together like a jigsaw puzzle and a long sword replaced the odd whip. The scythe-blade remained attached to the end of her weapon. She stared in awe.
"Awesome..." Cerberus muttered to no-one in particular.

More creatures now swarmed around her, looking on at the girl. They moved like excited monkeys, and suddenly began growling, their claws making clicking sounds. This was a chance for a feast. A powerful being stood before them with her guard down, nothing better than easy prey.
Some leapt into the air, some raced at her from all sides. The monsters had formed a circle and were within arms' reach within less than a second.

Let's test it out. I looks awesome doesn't it? Cilla said.
"Yeah, I think so." Cerberus muttered as she swung the massive sword around in a wide circle, spinning for a few seconds on the spot.
The sword-whip remained intact for the first two spins, but Cerberus flicked it once the beasts began to fall and back off, and it extended, slashing every beast that had been surrounding her just under a minute ago.
Cerberus stood and looked down at her handywork. Each creature had a clean gash on some part of its body, some were missing limbs and writhing in what looked like pain.
There were at least 25 of them, if not more.
"Sorry guys," the young girl said, rubbing the back of her head with one hand and grinning widely, her whip-arm at her side and the sword-whip curled, touching the ground. She giggled, then made to move off to kill some more of the monsters.

"Crap!" she called out loud. The scythe-blade was caught in the ground. "Jesus, you'd think that if it could cut through metal skin then it could just slice the ground open so I could pull it out!"
Cerberus stood there for a second tugging on the sword-whip, then felt a release and fell backwards onto her backside. "Ow!"
She stared out at the length of the weapon. She was about seven feet from the end. Cerberus flicked her wrist, and the weapon glowed and clicked back together.
"I love you so much!" she said with a quick laugh which turned into her schoolgirl giggle, then looked down to where the scythe-blade was still stuck in the ground. "Double-crap!"

Instead of her running off to fight more monsters, they began to come to her, attacking in groups. Cerberus had no time to attach another gadget to her weapon, instead having to swing it wildly, trying to remember the Weapons class in which they were taught proper swordsmanship.
It was quite a funny site, seeing Cerberus constantly tipping off-balance with the massive sword's weight.
As soon as she had cleared a nice area in the creatures, she grabbed for an attachment, pulling out a three-bladed shuriken. When she equipped it to the end of her weapon, it grew sufficiently, with each blade reaching one and a half feet from the midpoint.
She charged at the beasts, and took a mighty swing with her weapon. The shuriken began to spin wildliy, and she flicked her wrist. Cerberus swung the whip around, above her head.

Another large handful of creatures fell, and she pulled her weapon down to look at its now sword-like appearance.
"I'm gonna call you Hydra," she said fondly to it, like a little kid naming a new pet.

Achilles stood, watching these creatuers approch him, ready to cut him open and tear out his entrails. They walked towards him slowly, a good ten were starting to move around him. He drew his axe which had changed significantly, its size had grown to a missive level and the edges looked more deadly and guresome. It looked as if it should be dragged across the ground from the sheer size, but Achilles found he could hold it with one hand.

"This is impossible." He suddenly heard a voice from behind him.

"Not for Achilles. Use your strength to cut through them, use your speed to finish them quickly. Do it!" Achilles looked at the creatuers that were coming ever closer, he held it up and quickly cut downward on a creatuer that and gotten much to close, split it right down the middle. The others came at him quickly, he swung the axe quickly severing one of the creatuers head and getting another coming up and an angle.

"This is amazing, how can I swing such a thing with ease?"

"Because you are Achilles the Mighty! You must unleash your strength and speed to become the ultimate warrior, release the fury that you hold inside. Show no mercy!" Achilles spun in full cirlce and cut apart two more coming at him. He started to get caught up in the fight and lost track of time or voices.

He jammed the head of his axe into one of the creatuers, the creatuer and the axe smashed into the ground and stuck there. He balanced himself on one hand on the axe for the few moments it remained in the ground, it started to tip and Achilles went with it. Stomping down on a creatuer that was presently under his feet.

Then quickly bringing the axe around for one more round trip into the monsters. Finishing off the last few that were coming for him. He stood amongst the gore and blood of these use to be class mates, feeling no remorse for his deed.

"This is an amazing feeling. I feel something moving through my body, like energy surging through my veins." Athen came up behind and placed her hand on his shoulder.

"You are growing, you feel what has been supressed in you all for so long." Athen disappeared, leaving Achilles standing there with a bloody axe in his hand.

Hade saw his friends fighting, and held his hands out, hoping for some kind of weapon to appear. But nothing did. He turned to Athena, a worried look on his face.

"Why don't I have a weapon?" he asked, "Why am I different?"

"Your weapons do not come to you simply because you wish them to. They come to you because you need your weapons," she replied, "You must fight, and only then will your weapons come to you."

Seems a little unfair to me, thought Hade, running into battle with his friends. He leapt towards one of the creatures, his boot outstretched, and planted it directly in the face of the oncoming creature. It fell backwards, but not before grabbing Hade's foot and slamming him to the ground. He skidded a few feet before grinding to a halt.

Jumping to his feet, he ran into battle once more, slamming his fist into the nearest creature. But as his fist travelled through the air towards the creature, an orb of red energy appeared around it, and as it collided with the creature's chest, red energy lanced out from underneath the creature's skin, and it fragmented, exploding into its single particles.

Hade stared at his fist.

"Whoah," he said, not believing what had just happened. Suddenly, he felt a weight in his other hand. He lifted it. A long, slightly curved dagger had appeared in it, and as he looked at it, another, identical one appeared in the other hand.

He turned as a creature rushed at him, its fist raised, ready to strike him, and slashed one dagger across its stomach. It doubled over and fell to the floor, blood pouring from its wound. Hade raised the other dagger and rammed it into the creature's back. He pushed the blade in further until he felt the creature die, blood gurgling in it's throat.

He pulled his weapon out and turned to the rest of the horde of creatures.

"It's showtime..."

His eyes were dead-set upon the first dragon in his way, his cold, brooding eyes surveying the magnificent demon, searching for a weak point in the beast. Aries tightened his grip on his lance, clenched his teeth, his body surging with hate and rage, begging to be released relentlessly upon it. His mind commanded it, and his body readily obliged.

He sprinted with newfound speed towards his opponent, and threw the lance at the dragon?s neck. The missile landed heavily, impaling the demon through its jugular. Aries pulled out the lance and bounded over the felled monster in stride, lashing out at the next moving object before even landing.

He was a torrent of fury, dealing death quickly and mercilessly, impaling, decapitating, and charring those that challenged his might. The body raged on, the adrenaline pumping through his veins, augmenting his berserk blitzkrieg. None were left alive so long as they stood within thirty feet of the warrior. Soon he could slake his bloodlust only by firing comets of fire upon the demons, the meteors of fire violently ripping part their frames as they disintegrated in a flash of agonized screams and searing heat. A few talons scratched his godly armor ? a few blows drew blood. He dispatched them to the underworld, bathing in their blood. He did not feel them.

His body quaked, roaring for more slaughter, for more blood, for more death. Aries raised the lance once more, channeling his fire through it, and dispelled the demonic darkness from whence it came. He felt as if he were a mighty messenger sent from the heavens, a fiery seraph smiting those who opposed the clean and beloved.

His arms became hammers. His legs became that of horses. His eyes were of the sun, and his soul was of hell.

Peres grinned evilly. This would be fun, provided she had the right angle. She moved to a large chunk of stone and slapped her hands to it's surface.

"A golem, I think." Suddenly, the earth bucked and the approaching creatures were thrown to the ground. A stone and earth hand thrust from the rubble, bringing with it a heavyset torso and stumpy legs.

"No head? Damn it. That means that this takes practice, just like everything else." Peres spat and motioned the golem to put her where it's head would be. A crude dirt seat rose for her to hang on to as the monstrosity lunged clumsily into motion. Peres squeaked and clung to it.

The great ape like hands of the rock creation sent the hideous creatures flying, their assaults doing little but knock chips from the legs of the golem. Peres smirked. It would take something much larger than these peons to stop her. She paused. What else could she do with this power? She eyed the ground and thought of the ocean. Waves.

Peres closed her eyes, envisioning a heaving of rock to bury the creatures. suddenly, she could hear Athena's voice inside her head.

"Don't over exert yourself, Peres. Think that perhaps moving so much earth will fail your concentration with the golem. You must give the golem up or think of another way." Peres cursed and started when she realized the creatures were climbing her golem faster than the clumsy creation could brush them off. Peres thought hard and fast. She remembered Artemis flying through the air in a tornado... Flying. Athena said she could shape shift, right?

"Wish me luck..." Peres crouched, bunching the muscles of her legs and leaping from the back of the golem, not noticing that the others, all engaged in their own battles glanced her way, almost swearing they heard her whisper in their heads.

Then she was falling... Peres panicked. Falling! Not flying! A bird! Imagine it! Many species flashed past her eyes. Suddenly she was swooping through the monstrous legs of... The not-students? One swung at her and she swore at him, the words coming out in a string of vulgar starling chatter.

Helios and his friends fought gallantly against the creatures, but it seemed to no avail. They just kept coming, no matter how many were defeated. Helios looked backed to Athena, hoping she would offer some sort of asistance, some sort of help at all. But alas, all she did was watch, leaving them to fend for themselves.

Helios dealt a sharp blow to the chest of his nearest enemy and launched a wall of fire at those behind him, but he was still overwhelmed. An arrow shot forth from his left, creating a mighty torndadoe that carried his assailants away. Artemis ran over to him and helped him up, embracing him tightly.

"Are you okay?" Helios nodded and looked back to the battle. His alies seemed to be in a similiar position. Alone, their power was great, but not enough to ensure victory. But together... He called the others to him swiflty. They all heeded to his command and sprung over to him. That lapse in combat was just enought time for the creatures to have them surronded. Peres sighed.

"A lot of good that did us." Helios silenced her with a movement of his hand and adressed his comrades as a whole.

"Our strengths were obviously not meant to be used alone, or else I'm sure this would not have happened to us as a group. We must use our powers in unison!" He grinned and spun to face his enemies. He yelled.

"Cerberus, Achilles!" Achilles jumped to the north of the group, and Cerberus the south, then they struck the ground with their mighty power, causing the ground to split and shake underneath the opponents.

"Pandora!" She summoned al of the energies in her body and unleashed them in a massive wave of energy, knocking the creatures backwards.

"Peres!" Peres concentrated and turned the Earth into giant spiked pillars, tearing straight through a good deal of the monsters. There were still a great deal left, but all was under control. They would wipe them out in one final blaze of glory.

"Hade, Aries, Artemis!" Helios, Aries, and Hade summoned the fire energies within them and combined them into a massive sphere of destruction above them. Artemis spun the wind around it, faster and faster, untill it looked like a massive red discus. She shot the wind out around the group, in a spiraling motion all throughout the enemy lines.

The creatures were burned to ashes, not one was left from the battle. The young warriors collapsed to the ground, their energy spent. Athena walked over, clapping, and stood before them.

"Very impressive... I'm glad to know that you could handle yourselves. If you had truly needed my help, then this world would have truly been lost." Helios grolwed at her and threw himself up, clutching hier shirt.

"Look! We're tired of not knowing what the fuck is going on. We want some answers, and we want them---" His sentence was interrupted by an explosive ripping sound from the sky. A massive white dragon ripped forth from the portal, and unleahsed a mighty roar. It had red eyes, and it's wing were unlike what Dragon's were imagined to have. They looked...angelic, to say the least. It to, had a symbol on it.

"The darkness has sent it's creature, the Grande Dragon." Helios continued to stare at the creature, and then noticed someting. On it's back were four cloaked figures. Three stood on it's back, and one hung from it's neck. The one on his neck yelled something, and then the dragon reared it's head back. He cocked it forward, emitting an orb of light, not unlike the one that starte dthis whole mess. Helios ran towards it.

"Not again! I won't let this destroy anyone else!" He ran towards it full speed, but to no avail. Right as he reached it, he struck the ground, and a pillar of light shot up from it. He sheileded his eyes as the light convered the area. As he looked down at the center of the light, something amazinf happened.

The plants in that very spot began to grow, and the land reformed. As the light spread, it healed all of the destruction, and even the slain children were revived, but once again in there normal states. The light spreadthroughout the city, then dissapeared. Helios looked to Ahtena, dumbfounded. She smiled.

"I know you must all of have many questions, but I fear now is not the time to answer them. I have many matters I must attend to now, so I must leave you all to ponder these events. On Saturday, ask for entrance into the Central Clocktower. There, I will tell you the truth, but for now," she looked towards the school and thenran off in the other direction, "you must go about your lives as normal."

Helips watched as she ran off, confused. Like normal? A voice boomed from behind them, and then and angry headmistress came out of the school.

"Well, well. Playing hooky are we? You've all just earned yourselves a week of afterschool detention!" She walked behind them, and pushed the students towards the school. Then suddenly a thought dawned on Helios, an awe-inspiring one that he did not notice earlier in his shock. He truned to the other s quickly.

"Did anyone else notice who exactly Athena was?!?" They thought carefully, and their eyes opened wide in shock as the realization dawned in them to. Artemis was the onyl one who could say it.

"Athena...Is the Queen of Central City."

+++++

OOC: Well, the mystery thickens, and our heroes are left confused and without answers. All of there answers will be answered on Saturday by the Athena, the newly revealed Queen. It's only Thursday, however, and out heroes must wait in anguish for the answers they so seek.

Your character should spend the next two days mentally recooperating, training, examing the city, and noticing that the citizens of the town now have two odd tatooes on both of their wrists. On the left, the darkness. On the right, the light.

What could this mean?
OOC2: I apologize for the over dramatization, but I really was getting into that post. ^_^

Achilles watched as they were all being pushed back into school, still shocked to see his teachers alive and well. Schocked to see the other students alive and acting like nothing had just happened. As if they had not just been turned into horrible monsters and slain by these eight.

As they walked through the school, he noticed weird Tattoo's on everyones wrists. He looked at his to see if he had the same but found there were none, he was growing more confused by the second. He shook his head.

"What the hell is going on here? Wasn't everyone dead? Weren't we forced to kill their corpses? And why the hell is the Queen helping us?!" Achilles waited for a response from the others but found they were in the dark as he was. He shooked his head.

"I'm getting out of here. I have an appointment anyways." Helios looked at him with and eyebrow raised.

"An appointment?" Achlles nodded.

"Yes, remember? I finally have enough money to get the tattoo's i've been wanting to get. I'll see you all later. I need to hurry, and I need to clear my head." They waved him good bye and Achilles sped off. He walked through the streest looking at the buildings that looked like it was mingling with future and past structuers. Buildings were made of metal and stood tall, well taken care of and glissened in the sunshine.

Some buildings gave that look of the middle ages, made of stone and morter with old chimeny stacks with smoke coming out. He watched the poeple as the varied in shape, size, color and all other things. The clothes varied from a lot of things besides race. It was complicated for Achilles to think about, he just wanted to relax. Too much was going on right now and it all seemed too much for his brain to handle. He eventually made it to the tattoo parlor and sighed happily.

"Fianlly. Been waiting a year to have enough money for these." He stepped into the parlor and walked to a chair, handing the guy the money and exlpained what he wanted. The man got right to work.

About 2 hours later, with a few breaks in between, Achilles emerged from the parlor. Two fresh tattoo's on his arms, both were blades, but were very different. the first one on his left arm was an angelic blade, with white feathers falling around it and the blade had a pure metallic color.

The words "Demon Hunter" We're printed on the blade. His right arm had another blade on it, except this blade was black with red blood covering it, a demon skull served as the handle with a gruesome and twisted face.

The words "Angel Slayer" we're written into the blade. Some parts of the blades and white, mesh cloth on because it had started bleeding. He would have to wait a few days before it was heal properly. He walked down the side walk, looking at the buildings once mroe as he headed for home. Ready to rest after what him and the other seven went through.

Cerberus just stood where she now was, in the hallway outside her next classes room. The words 'what will I find behind this door?' ran on a continuous loop through her mind. She was still in shock from killing her classmates, who were now alive and well again. She saw a student rush past her, he was late for class.
When she turned and saw who it was, Cerberus found she was looking into the face of the first beast that had attacked her.
Her hand twitched, almost as if to pull out her weapon, but she restrained herself.
Here, let me handle this for a while. You're a warrior, not a student Cilla insisted from inside the head the two personalities were sharing. Plus, this way people won't see a massive gap in my usual persona. I'm supposed to be a ditz, remember?
Cerberus nodded their head and was gone.

That night, Cilla sat at home reading a book called 'How to Use Your Strength Effectively.' This was actually a normal thing for her, constantly looking for ways to improve her fighting technique, trying to stay at the top of her class. It wasn't hard, but now she and the others had a more important task ahead of them instead of just trying to be the best in class.
"Not to mention how much more powerful the others are than me. In a one-on-one just about any of them would whup my ass..." she muttered to herself.
It was a half truth. Everyone in the Council had their strengths and weaknesses, but Cilla felt her weaknesses were easier to exploit than those of the others.
She began to jot down the few basic talents she had seen the others use.
'Helios, Aries and Hade can all manipulate fire; Hades can also bring back the dead to fight for him - according to Athena; Artemis can control the wind - so she can keep at a safe distance basically all the time if she needs to; Peres can...'
As she wrote more of the abilities each of her friends had hiding away inside them, she realised something. "Achilles and I are practically identical in what we were given. The only things that set us apart are our age and what we do with our strength."
Cilla wrote one last thing down before going to bed:
'If anything should happen to the group, Achilles and I will be the ones needed to guard them. With our strength, not only can we destroy, but also save; this is my mission. I will protect my friends from harm - I am the guard-dog - Cerberus...'

As she slept, Cilla kicked a hole in the wall; broke her lamp; and tore at least five holes in her bedsheets.

The next morning she vowed that she would sleep on the floor every night until she learned how to control the power she had been given.
