Gaming What do you think the best next gen system will be?

I was wonderin what you guys think is going to be the best. I know the X-box 360 has already come out. It is a pretty impresive system. It's graphics and gameplay are pretty intense. All of the games so far have been, for the most part,have been pretty good. I was wondering if you think the other two will be as good, or better. Or do you think that the x- box is the best. Just let me know what you think.

I am grimacing at the entire line up of next gen consoles. First off, the revolution, while awesome for letting us play old games, has the suckiest controller ever. I don't care how well they incorperate it inot the revolution's games, that thing sucks. The PS3 I do not like because all it seems to have going for it are graphics. It's basically just a vamped up PS2, but now it's going to eliminate all the small companies who can't afford to make this high graphic crap. ANd so, the PS3 must burn at the stake.

The Xbox 360, which I was origionally agains, actually seems to show some fair promise, and it has a good enough game linup to warrant a buy, IMO. This is the only one Im considering so far.

No one system will be the best. They all have their strengths and weakness. Saying what system is best is just stupid. No one system is better than the other.

[size=1][color=darkred]Currently I am the most stoked for the PS3 and the Revo. I like the X-Box 360 it's a good system, but I think they rushed it, and it isn't as good as it could have been. I love Sony stuff you could say I am an addict lol. I just really trust the quality they have, as well as I am very fond of the visual properties of the equipment. I'm not worried about the graphics being to high that small companies wont be able to make games, because even on the PS2, their are plenty of excellent games that don't boast the top of the line graphics, such as Disgaia. Graphics don't make the game good, it makes it interesting, but not good. So I think it will still have plenty of small company games, something the playstation line has always had an abundance of. Also, I am excited for Killzone 2 and Resident Evil 5, muahahahah.[/color][/size]

[size=1][color=darkred]The Revo, I really like the concept and the way it looks. I am actually looking foward to the controller. Albeit it isn't what I imagin when I think of controllers, it fits nintendo. Nintendo had always been willing to try interesting things, and they alway have games that mimic that. I think the concept of the controller is smart, and is more interactive than the standard controller. And if you don't like it, you can still plug and play with a gamecube controller. But I think the contoller is going to go well with the system and it's style of games. I can just imagine the types of ways Mario Party with use it. The point and click option also has alot of application to shooters. As well as a gyroscope.......I'm just hoping for a realistic sword fighting game.[/color][/size]

I eally couldn't care less about the Next-Gen consoles as a whole because in every gaming preview I've seen there are no innovative ideas and all that has been done is Style over Substance.
That said; I am interested with how the Nintendo Revolution will work out what with the crazy contoller and all. I especially find the backwards compatablity to be quite a nice idea considering the Revolution appears to be taking the Proerbial back seat to the 360 and the PS3.

I'm only really interested in the Revolution. I really like the controller. Nintendo never fails to put out better software than just about anyone. Online swordfighting Duels will be awesome.

Anywho, I know that the XBOX is one of the most anticipated counsels of the year because of the neat and awesome graphics that it can make, what awesome games it has and that XBOX Live is probably really popular. But, to me, I think that it's just a bunch of Hi- tech crap to get people to notice it better. Heck, I know that it has some pretty good graphics; I've seen the trailer of DOA 4 and I was absolutely stunned. It also left me wondering if my King, PS3, could pump out as good of graphics as this.

But, I think, to me, that the PS3 will be the best next gen system because I was practically raised on the Sony systems. It all depends on what you like, though. I'm the kind of person who loves RPG's, Final Fantasy, anime games, DDR and Kigndom Hearts, so my first choice would be the PS3. To me, it doesn't wholely and surely depend on how good the graphics are or how much crap-load of high- tech stuff you can get. Hey, the less crap I need to buy the more appealing it is to me, baby. It depends on how good the story is or what I mostly like to play. If you like all that gun-toting and good graphics, then you go and get the XBOX 360, and if you like the nintendo favorites, which I know I do, then go ahead and get the Nintendo Revolution. Simple and Clean as the song. XD

Anyways, the only question I have to ask is why are there stupid debates going on about which counsel is better? Like, debators saying, "Oh, the XBOX 360 is, like, so much better." Ok, now if you rewind what you just said and listen to yourself a bit, then you can hear the slight stupidness in your voice, no?

Like I said, it really doesn't matter to some people about how stylish their counsel is (Oh look, my Nintendo Revolution is so pimp! Come on! Who says that?!), all that matters is what you like and look for in games and their counsels.

But, on the other hand, everything else is a piece of crap and I'm totally for the PS3, no matter how sucky and how painful the controllers will be on my poor little button-mashing hands. XD[/COLOR][/SIZE][/FONT]
