Samsara
Nice input.... I suppose my favorite game would be Super Mario Bros. 3. It brings back so many great gaming memories. No matter how many times I play it, it never gets old and is always extremely entertaining.
Riku
Hah... Simple and Clean, eh Darkartic?? XD Hmmm.... well, even though I have millions of games that I love, I would have to say that Kingdom Hearts is my most favorite game. It brings back emotional moments because I am very close to that game. It is the only game to which I have cried so many times even though I know what's going to happen because I have played it so much. :animecry It is a game that is very close to my heart. n.n
Goodbye, Face
Yeah, I don't have a favorite game either. Just kidding. My favorite game is Vagrant Story for the Playstation. If you're not one of the three people who bought this game, you'd probably like to know that this game was made by Squaresoft late in the PS1's life. It was basically a dungeon-crawling Adventure game where you play as a crazy-haired guy named Ashley Riot. He plays a role known as a Riskbreaker, one who goes on covert missions with a high death rate for little more than the sheer adrenaline boost that comes from fighting for your life. The covert ops plus the game's in-game cinematics put it in direct competition with Metal Gear Solid. The game had both a comic book feel and a gothic feel to it. It simply makes you feel cool just for playing it. Sidney Lossatarot, the game's psuedo-villian, is one of my favorite characters out of any game. He goes back and forth between being helpful and messing with your head. Plus, the creature-summoning and the Wolverine-esque claws make him quite the badass. The combat system was another one of the main positives for this game, it consisted of equipping a fully-customized weapon (consisting of different handles, blades, and gems) and pressing the circle button when you see an enemy on the screen. When you do this, the game shows Ashley's range through the use of a blue wireframe sphere, any enemies within the circle can be attacked. You can select different body parts to attack, for the most part, it doesn't mater much. After your first attack hits, you must rythmically tap buttons that are equipped with different attacks to continue the chain of attacks. As you do this, your Risk meter goes up. As your Risk goes up, so does your attack, but your accuracy will suffer. The game is very deep overall, and is very enjoyable. Those who have it cherish it, those who don't usually want it after having it described to them.
Desbreko
If you're going to start a favorite thread, you at least need to provide a decent post to start it off. And if you really don't have any favorites, just look back through the older threads on this topic (I know there've been a couple recently) to see other people's favorites.
