Darth Vectis
Your art work is very good, the details are drawn in nicely and shading isn't forgotten so it looks more life like and has more of a 3-D effect to it. Its very good, I sure as hell wish I could draw like that.
Riku
O.o;; Woah.... are you flipping serious that you drew all these?? They look so.... real... Your artwork is... totally amazing... I can't get over the fact at how good these drawings really are. I like the detail and the shading that you did to it. It makes it look so much more realistic and humanlike. My most favorite one is the "Taking a bite Out of Crime." Lol. That one made me laugh. Keep up the awesome work!! 10/10!!

Goodbye, Face
I'm sure with great work such as yours, you get a lot of compliments of how great it is and how real it looks. Add another one to the list, then. My favorites are the Bite Out of Crime one, and the girl with the colorful hair. With "...Crime," it seriously looks like you photographed a person in grayscale, the person seems to pop out of the page, really great. As for the girl, I want that hairstyle, lol. Really great stuff man. Is there more on the way?
cancer
Thanks for the comments. Yes there is more on the way, but you'll have to be patient. I'm very busy at the time, but there should be more up by the end of February. ^_^
John
Were these done over different periods of time? Because they really look like they're all done with different levels of skill (although there's not a bad one in the bunch :P). If so, then the only criticism I can give is that on the first picture, the change between the buzzed and grown-out hair isn't as well done as it could be. That still doesn't detract from the whole thing any, though. Lots of style there, I'm liking it. :smoke:
cancer
yeah, thanks. I see what you mean with the hair, but actually in the picture, the transition did look pretty much like that. But thanks for the criticism. Yes they were done over different periods of time.

My fav is the first one with the multi colored hair. I would like very much to see more when you have time to post them. Keep it up!
Chikara Kokoro
Overall the pictures are very, very well done. The color choices in the 2nd to last one (my favorite of the bunch) are very striking and well chosen for that reason. The animal isn't nearly as impressive as the humans, and it's the only one I feel like I can actually critique. The style in general doesn't seem as well done/practiced as the human pictures. This is especially true with the mouth which looks much too angular and in that way somewhat sloppy. It's still good though.
cancer
yeah, well the animal didn't take as long, i did kind of hurry on it, I admit. I didn't put any effort into it i guess, oh well ^_^
Retribution
My favorites were the very first one, and the other picture with "CRIME" being eaten. Elvis' shading is also great -- very soft and realistic. There are a few that I assume were done from an earlier time where the subject matter is simplified, but those are still pretty good as far as drawings go. So keep up the good work! Sorry if I couldn't give you any real critique, but I just couldn't figure out anything that was wrong with these. You've nearly mastered shading, as far as I can tell. Are you in art school now? :
WW2
Yeah those are all pretty good. Personally I like the first and seventh pics the best. But all in all they're all good...the only problem I see is that there isn't enough contrast in many of them.
r2vq
A nice display. It reminds me of all these portfolios my friends are all working on right now. All I can do is compliment and everything has been said already. I really think you made a great jump in skill level from the oldest picture to the newest. I hope to see a lot more from you in the future. =D -Arvi
Ikillion
o.O My goodness if I had your art talents I will be getting better than a B- in my art class. I already think that it is a miracle that I was even able to get that grade. Yet as far as I know everything you have done here seems flawless. You could even make millions off of these kinds of things then you may be able to say. " I got my frist reviews from Otakuboards." then we all get popular and such. However still I must admit..I want your skills.
cancer
haha, well thank you for the comments ^_^ Well if you want the skill put in the effort. I will post on here where I started four years ago. I will show you that I've developed a lot since then. Practice makes perfect ^_^
Syk3
The sixth one looks like my cousin! Kudos to you!
Hey there, Angel. In Art Studio, the one thing that we ask for more than anything else is practicing high quality posts of constructive criticism. This comment doesn't seem enough in helping the artist to improve, so I highly recommend you read the sticky thread in the main forum.
Guest Hazencruz
The Good: Your artwork is obviously a product of long-term practice and perfection of your techniques. I can tell just by looking at it they some of them used models though (using pictures to draw pictures) which is not a bad thing, but it would be amazing if you could draw like that without models. Your artwork is impressively expressive, and seems to be what you feel more than what you see. Such a talent is rare in today's art world and a valuable skill indeed. The Bad: You are good, but no Norman Rockwell, the paintings have shading and detail, but what they lack is a large variety and number of colors. This gives the artwork a dark, somewhat lifeless, almost Gothic look to it. But that may have been what you were aiming for by using your choice of colors. While your artwork is expressive, its not expressive in the sense of emotion. Its expressive in the sense of attitude and opinion, but again, maybe this is what you were shooting for. Best feature: Very Detailed and Expressive Worst Feature: No Liveliness or Emotion I give your work, 6 out of 10.
cancer
Hazencruz, thank you, that was an excellent critique. I really thank you for showing me that my art isn't emotional enough; I think you're right about that. I do need to express myself a bit more in my art. A six out of ten is definitely not okay with me, which is why I must work very hard to get it to a ten out of ten ^_^ Thanks again.
