?Wow, this was so last year. You should?ve said ?Last year?,? -Alex blurts in.

-silence, Alan glares at Alex-

?Do you really want to take this job, you jerk? I mean, I?m only reading the fuckin? cue cards!? -Alan shakes his papers at the cue card man, John.

-Alex looks on innocently and pats Alan on the shoulder-

?Ah, I?m sorry,? -Alex smiles.

?I can continue?? -Alan huffs.

?Absolutely,? -Alex motions to the camera.

-Alan shuffles his papers and coughs; Alex gnaws on a pen-

?Previously on The Bikini Bandits, we left Annie in-? -Alan is interrupted, yet again.

-Alex stands up, spilling his coffee all over Alan?s lap-

?Stop, stop! We didn?t leave Annie, she left us,? -Alex stomps his foot.

-much, MUCH cursing and swearing from Alan-

?Ah, for Christ?s sake, Alex! Can?t you keep your pie hole closed for three fucking minutes. Because that?s all it?s going to take!? -Alan stands up, threatening Alex with a hairbrush.

-Alex sits down sharply; followed by Alan-

?I?m sorry, but we really need to shoot White,? -Alex grins a Cheshire cat-like grin.

-Alan blinks dumbfounded as Alex gnaws on his clipboard-

?Could we just do a play back of where the story was left of, please? I mean, I?m about to strangle this guy,? -Alan looks to JJ.

-nervous laughter from Alan, mumbling and bickering from JJ and assistant, Boo; the two finally agree, nodding to Alan-

?We?re going to do that? Awesome, thank you. Now, do yourselves a favor and play the damn tape. I?m done.?

-Alan walks out of the room-

?Pansy,? -Alex snickers, continuing to gnaw at random objects.

-Alan pumps his shotgun; sounds of Alex screaming are drown out by impressive music and flashes of sexy girls in bikinis-

Anyhow, hello everyone, and welcome to The Bikini Bandits Strike Back! The last time we heard from these scantily clad crime-fighters, they took on quite a few OB honchos that included the infamous, notorious mage Dragon Warrior, the ever-fluorescent Shinmaru who really isn?t fluorescent anymore but deserved what he got at the time, and the not-so-mysteriously-dangerous-now Site Director, James. Last time, we thought we had heard the end of Annie and the Bandits, but alas, you have not. Obviously, or you wouldn?t be posting. That?ll be enough of you, JJ. Okay.

Continuing, what brings the Bikini Bandits back? What, you might ask? Well, over the year, most of the group has disbanded and laid dormant. Sadly, the year 2005 really didn?t pose for much inspiration or need for the Bandits. However, this is no moon; it?s a space station---Annie?. Yes, JJ?I know. Fix it. Ahem, what I really meant to say was ?however, it is not 2005 any longer; it is 2006--a brand new year?. This year is just making grounds, but alas, there are many new things to encounter; for one, new moderators. Well, they were appointed new moderators last year, but we?re going to pick on them now. That didn?t make-- No, it didn?t?Oh well.

Brushing that confusing paragraph aside, let?s get down to business. During this quiet time, Annie watched over the OB; observing all the changes, additions, and new comers. But none were as eye-catching as one newly appointed moderator. Noo?not one. It was on the first day of the eighth month of the year two-thousand and five (8-01-05) that Annie?s fate would turn upside-down. The day Stuart was dubbed moderator of the Otaku Lounge. She knew this might cause rifts between older members, but never thought it would end up the way it did.

I wish I could tell you that Stuart?s mod dubbing had a happy story, but alas, I cannot. You see, it would ruin the story and all the fun. But, what I can tell you is that this series is going to prove your expectations wrong. In this run, you?ll find that what you thought you knew, isn?t what you know because I know that you don?t know what I know.

???..Right. Anyway, I probably didn?t fill you in on what?s to come, but where?s the fun in that? I hope you are prepared for a mostly new line up of Bandits, new cameos, new twists, and a new story. I?m planning on keeping one full-stead plot line, instead of bouncing around different ideas (and people, lol) as last time. I can?t promise it will live up to the last one, but with your support, I will do my best. *Now that the story is in motion, I will not be accepting any more people for Bikini Bandits; sorry, but it just gets confusing adding people.

Chapter 1- It Begins Here

The Otaku Lounge. So full of life, anger, sorrow, politics, joy, melancholy thoughts, devious debates, exuberance of being with loved ones. The O. Lounge (as it has been called) was truly the one place on the OB where you could always find something interesting going on. Whether it was a pleasant visit or not, you?re sure to have left the Lounge with something to talk about. When you had your fill of RPGs, critiquing art works, complaining about pop punk, the Lounge was always open with new, and not so new, discussion.

It was one sunny afternoon in August when the Lounge buzzed with new life. The day Stuart was birthed from a Member to Moderator of Otaku Lounge. It was here a twisted game of chess began, and poor, young Stuart was the pawn of someone?s despicable plot. One so powerful that the site director and administrators had to summon the sexy Bikini Bandits, and affiliates.

Earlier that sunny afternoon?

Annie lay stretched out on a lawn chair beside a swimming pool. Sadly, there were no Bandits causing ruckus for entertainment. But it did allow her to even out her tan without being splashed at random; paralyzing her hot body with seemingly freezing water. She missed the Bandits, missed the adventures; she even missed seeing Corey in a speedo. Well?maybe not, but it was still amusing to see Gavin?s reaction each time they were in the same room together.

She rolled over on her stomach and peered at the pool over her black sunglasses, thinking of nothing in particular, when her younger, but twin brother, JJ walked through the sliding doors of their house. He was holding onto a cell phone and held it out to Annie. Following him were dozens of shiny, glittering jewels.

?I told him you were relaxing and didn?t want to be bothered,? JJ shrugged, ?But he?s a persistent one.?

?Who is ?he??? Annie propped herself up by her elbow, but fell through the slats of the lawn chair.

JJ, after having a minute of insane giggling, helped her sit up fully and handed her the phone. Embarrassed, Annie stood up and snatched the phone.

?Hello?? she turned her back, walking down the side of the pool.

?Hello, Annie-chan,? replied a distinguishable voice.

?Ah, James. What can I do for you?? Annie looked over her shoulder to see a trail of the shinnies lurking behind her.

?We need to meet. Are you free this evening??

?I am, yes,? Annie stretched and yawned.

?Great, will you meet me in myO page in a couple of hours??

?Sure thing. Is something wrong??

?Well, not necessarily. Something is bothering me, though, and I?d like to talk, ? James? voice sounded weighed.

?Okay, I?ll be there in a couple of hours.?

?Wonderful, I?ll see you then,? a soft click ended the conversation.

Annie flipped the cover of the phone and walked into the house, JJ and shiny jewels followed.

?What?s up?? he asked, closing the doors.

?I don?t know, really. James didn?t sound to happy,? Annie took off her flip flops and started for the bathroom.

?Well, I?m making some pizza. Are you going to have some?? JJ called from over the kitchen counter.

?Of course, I will!? Annie shut the door to the bathroom.

Later?

Annie knocked on James? myO backroom, hoping she wasn?t too late; the shinnies decided to help JJ and get covered in pizza dough and sauce. It took a while to get crust and stains out of her hair and get the shinnies cleaned up. The door opened to reveal James looking rather peculiarly dressed in a maroon suit and top hat. Annie eyed his top hat for a brief second before observing the cane he held lightly in his left hand. Giving a slight smirk, James twirled his cane once; Annie fainted.

Minutes later, Annie woke up to fuzzy surroundings and Disposable Teens playing in the background. James ruffled her hair playfully before handing her a glass of water.

?Sorry about that, Annie dear. I wasn?t expecting you to react to my cane like that,? he chuckled, removing his top hat.

?Me either,? she blushed, taking a sip of water.

?I will also apologize for the starkness of my backroom; I?ve been terribly busy with the new myO project and the Art of Otaku. You know about that right??

Annie sat up and nodded, ?So, what is troubling you??

?You saw I hired more mods, right? And I know you know Stuart,? he started, standing up, ?He?s been doing just fine; but lately, he?s been acting strange. I?m not sure if you?ve noticed, seeing as how you occupy most of your time in The Arena.?

?No, I haven?t noticed. His behavior seems to be fine over AIM,? Annie spoke over her glass, ?Can you describe what?s been going on??

?He?s been a bit absurd with his mod posts, almost as if he were trying to make a statement. Sort of, ?I?m mod, and you aren?t; so you?ll do what I say.? And I know that?s not like him, but for the past few days, I?ve been noticing this behavior and it?s disturbing me. It?s almost as if whatever he posts is scripted, you know?? James paced, jabbing at the floor with his cane. His other hand plucked aimlessly at an imaginary beard.

?Like it was planned?? Annie blinked, setting the empty glass down.

?Yeah, like he?s being controlled. I?ve spoken to him over AIM about this at least three times, and he apologizes with the same excuse every time,? the site director clinched his gloved hand.

?What?s the excuse??

? ?It wasn?t me, I swear.?,? James rubbed his temple, ?All I can tell him is that he needs to resolve whatever issue is going on, or I?ll have to take away his mod rod.?

Annie nodded, ?I?m gathering it?s not being taken care of. Perhaps, I should talk to him. See if he tells me anything different. If we get different stories, then something has to be wrong.?

?Yeah. This worries me, because if he?s not doing it, who is and how are they doing it??

?Well, the only people who have the power to edit someone?s post is an admin, or his fellow moderators in the Lounge,? Annie folded her hands behind her head.

?I really hope it?s nothing that serious. I?m hoping that he?s just having personal problems that is effecting his posting. But, I gave him three good warnings,? James stood, taking up his top hat, ?I?m afraid I won?t be as forgiving the next time it happens. And honestly, I don?t want to have to think of what I?ll be forced to say.?

?I understand,? Annie looked up, trying to ignore the mesmerizing cane in his hand.

?I actually wanted to ask you and the Bandits to investigate. Watch him carefully; he?s been quiet for the past few days,? James walked towards the My Site window and stared out.

?I?ll see what we can do,? Annie rose and walked towards the door.

?Thank you, Annie,? James tipped his hat.

With a blink of an eye, James disappeared into other myO pages. Annie sighed heavily, and pulled the door open into a refreshed page of her backroom. Wandering aimlessly, Annie?s head whirled with ideas, thoughts, concerns. It was time to make a few calls.

Well, I went back and looked, and decided that I gave you all sooo much to read, so I shortened the first chapter. That's okay though, I can start off the second with the new Bandit's introductions ^_~

Laughing with the opening. I simply love Alan and Alex duo in your stories?too funny.

The rest of the intro was just flawless and humorous. I needed a good laugh before I went to bed and that was it, I didn?t even start the reading the chapter yet!

Your explanation was also interesting to read as well (I usually hate reading the damn explanations). The first chapter is very good and detailed to a T (Is that how you spell it?

Well, I owe it to ye to read this dribble since you read my crap. Just kidding :^D

Pretty well-written, though. The plot sounds intriguing and I'm curious to see who's behind it all. Naturally I believe Stuart's innocent, but is that what you want me to think? Annie, you witty gal! You play me like a fiddle.

Keep it up.

Very entertaining work. Now I'll have to add the original Bikini Bandits to my already huge list of required reading for the Anthology. +_+

Oooooo, it's off to a very promising start! Possibly fraud, misconceptions (*snickers*) and lots of other juicy stuff to come, no doubt *rawrs*

When Annie met James (new classic!) in his MyO was way cute, hehe. Poor Annie, though. Not many can resist that top hat, let alone the top hat and the cane at the same time! ~_^

Oh the inside jokes that run wild in here. See, this is what my statement, "Inside Jokes Make the World Go 'Round." means. I'm not going to pull every joke out, but Annie, you rock.

This story itself flows really well. I didn't see any big spots where the reader (aka myself) had to stop and think about anything. That in itself is a two sided dice, but for the first chapter, it's a good thing.

All around great job, dear sister, and I do expect more great work from you.

Interesting, most interesting.

Wonderful, not only to we have the return of the Bikini Bandit, but we also have Alex and Alan narrating the whole thing, this is going to go so far beyond safe levels of humour. But without DW as the main villain, I sense this is no longer Bay Watch for OB, perhaps we shall have a genuinely dangerous nemesis this time around.

Oh, boy. Although it was only a small chapter, that had me laughing hysterically. It's amazing how a jumble of organized letters can have so much impact on a person.

Very skilled writing, I'd say. You really know what you're doing when it comes to this. Not only was it a pleasure to read, it cheered me up, which is something I need at a time like this. Very funny, though. Keep it up because I look forward to the next installment.

Three cheers for the Bikini Bandits!

This is excellent. It's definitely a beautiful start to a new beginning.

Of course, we must have the Anchormen, taking us into the world of Bikini Bandits. It's so thrilling, thought, to know that we have the Bikini Bandits back. I'm absolutely giddy...hehehe. I am ready for the humor, the entertainment, and the foul play of the Bikini Bandits ^_^.

Now much like John has to I need to go and dig up and read all the old posts to see how funny these things can really be. However I still have a rather funny feeling that I am going to end up rupturing one of my internal organs because I will laugh at something that hard.

Yes, notice that the chapters are smaller than the original version. But that comes with this story isn't as random, so inserts of sillyness have been cut. Humor is still present, but just in a subtle way--which in some cases, is more entertaining. The story will be filled with more inside jokes rather than random things. Also, I don't really want to rush into things--there are a few things I want to be well thought out. So yeah, I'm doing my best to keep you all on your toes ^_^

Chapter 2- Let?s Go, Girls

The room was silent. Five girls, five light and festive bikinis, sat around the rectangular table in the center of the large room. It was a simple, modern meeting room with gray, thin carpet and a slightly darker shade of gray walls. The walls were nearly bare, spare a few, wall-to-floor length black and white photography artwork. The only thing really attractive about this room, besides the girls, was that the fourth wall was a gigantic window that overlooked the entire OtakuBoards.

Three skyscrapers dotted the area, surrounded by at least two or three smaller buildings; these were the variations of forums and sub forums. The Bandits were in the fourth building, The Prefecture; specifically, the Suggestions & Feedback forum. Traffic in the streets was a mess at most times, usually causing problems for the Adventure Arena. But for the most part, OtakuBoards ran pretty smoothly.

?Magnificant view,? Sakura breathed, leaning over the table to peer out.

?Yeah, it?s hard to imagine that it wasn?t so huge just a few years ago,? Badness murmured, still in a state of amazement after really taking a good look.

?Hey everyone,? Annie walked in the door; she?d obviously ran up the stairs because she was huffing a bit, ?Sorry, I?m late. I got stuck in a line at the elevator. Apparently, loads of people were needing to make some complaints.?

?About what?? Simplicity chimed in.

?I have no idea. It was a blend of grumpy oldies and brand new members,? Annie sipped her coffee, still standing.

She placed her left hand on her hip and looked around the room. Each face was different from the last crew, except for one; luckily, her name had changed from a word so impossible to spell and pronounce to something easier, Ezekiel. Annie flashed a smile and set her cup down on its coaster.

?It?s good to see a new group. I appreciate you all for showing up,? she paced and sighed, ?We have a lot of work to do. We?re going to have to do a lot of incognito missions, a bit of spying and stake-outs. ?

?Who is our target?? Mimmi leaned onto the table and rest her face in her hands.

?Stuart,? Annie replied dryly and picked up a tiny remote control, ?Newly appointed moderator of the Otaku Lounge. Our resource has told me that Stuart has been engaging in some mysterious behavior. Now, our source doesn?t know the cause of this behavior; so, it?s our job to infiltrate and find out.?

Annie turned around and pressed a single button on the remote. The blank wall behind her lit up under a projector?s light. Soon, a photo fuzzed and focused to reveal a rather silly picture of Stuart in his jester hat. The girls all chuckled.

?What sort of behavior are we talking about, Annie?? Greebo (Ezekiel) folded her arms on the table.

?Flaming new members, unnecessary post editing, deleting posts without informing the member. Things of that sort. And I?ve been told this has happened numerous times,? Annie finally took her seat, crossing her slender legs.

?I assume he?s been warned,? Arcadia sat up, ?What keeps an admin from revoking his position? Why hasn?t this been taken care of through the chain of command??

?James told me that something doesn?t seem right. Something that doesn?t seem normal,? Annie bit her lip, and cringed; she bit too hard.

?I don?t understand,? Sakura shook her head.

?Well,? Annie leaned in, ?it seems he?s being ?controlled? by an unknown source. Maybe this source or person is threatening the young mod to do their deeds.?

?Who in the matrix would do that?? Simplicity growled, ?Picking on an innocent, young man like that.?

?That?s why we?re here,? Annie tapped her fingers on the table, ?We have to get in touch with Stuart and see if we can uncover or see any sort of clues. Mimmi, I want you to take Ezekiel with you and stake out in front of the Lounge. See if you notice any member acting iffy. Sakura and Simplicity, you two will talk to Stuart?s closest OB friends; Retribution, Boo, Kitty, anyone you think might have any information on Stuart?s behavior. Arcadia, you?ll stay with me. We?re going to make a little PM to Stuart and see if we can get him to talk.?

The group started to stand up when Ezekiel held up her hand, ?What do we do if someone questions us??

?If you get persistent members, make note of it. They may be suspects. If you can tell they?re just curious, I don?t know?say whatever you like to throw them off. Something like you?re waiting for a friend,? Annie picked up her things and dismissed the group.

?I?ll get started on the PM,? Arcadia gave a firm nod and walked towards the door.

?I?ll be on AIM and see if he?s online there,? Annie smiled, heading the opposite direction.

Here we go..Annie?s mind buzzed with ?where to start? plans. She didn?t even notice she walked right into the wall past the elevator. Embarrassed, she looked around to check if anyone had seen her. It wasn?t surprising, but it would make for a very upsetting newspaper cover. She stretched out one arm to press the white button on the panel and stood back. She watched the little arrow above the double doors slowly arch itself up to the number of her floor.

Ding. The elevator?s doors groaned and pulled open. Annie looked up and smiled. The figure stood tall in a blue suit and a yellow, button-up shirt. The figure of a moderator she hadn?t seen very much of as of late; Syk3.

?Yo,? he smirked, tossing his jacket over his shoulder, ?Long time no see, toots.?

This chapter was nicely laid out, I daresay. I also see what you mean about the more subtle humor. I do appreciate that more than random craziness, despite the merits of both. ^_~

I really like this story, not so much for the plot itself, but for all the little OB jokes. I loved the lines about how OB 'usually ran smoothly' also 'who in the matrix would do that?' was great. I always hate it when people say something like 'why on Earth' when the're supposed to be on some other planet. And of course the lines about sendinga PM and getting on AIM.

Me and Mims have the same bracelet!

Sounds like this is going to be lots and lots of fun. Last time around it was awesome anyway, but I think now that the humor is a little more subtle and the situations are less cut and paste, it'll give the story more of an edge. That, and we're totally a foxy, crime-fighting force... that's more than five, unfortunately, but I think you can never have too many women in bikinis.

Also, I like Syk's elevator entrance. Very swank.

Ah, Bikini Bandits... Good times, good times. And I also remember Baron commenting on my banner. xD He's at it again, the horny fiend! *lightning*

But yes, I'm loving the Bandits' return (especially since my very own Stuie's playing such an important role in the story!! x3). It's written really well, and though I miss the random funniness, such as Corey's speedo (no matter how many shudders we all felt afterwards), the new style is just as good, if not better. So hurrah to you, Annie, for bringing this back. ^o^

I can't wait for the next chapter!

Chapter 3- A Stool's Misery

?How hard can this be?? Sakura smiled, folding her hands delicately under her chin.

?It?s just a question. A simple, harmless question from two, sweet, harmless girls,? followed Simplicity who crossed her legs and brushed back her bangs.

Their gaze rested quite fixated on a lone member on the opposite side of the room. He sat in a solid red chair with black pipeline trim. His eyes darted from one girl to the other, he clutched the arms of the chairs; not from fear of being interrogated, but from the uncomfortable stiffness the chair offered.

?If it?s just a simple question, what?s with the dark lighting around you guys, and the spotlight dangling above my head? ? he lifted a hand to point at the ceiling above. The girls looked to see that there was, indeed, a spotlight. They both glanced at one another and chuckled in sync, then turned back to face him.

?Sorry about that, Retri,? Sakura giggled and snapped her fingers. The room suddenly lit up, revealing a blast of white walls and carpet.

?Ah, my eyes!? Retribution shielded his face, falling back in the chair.

?Stop your whining, and tell us what you know!!? Simplicity rose from her pink, lush and fuzzy chair.

Retribution scrambled to get to his feet. He rubbed furiously at his shocked and rattled eyes and looked to see Simplicity shaking her fingers at him. Blinking in both confusion and pain, his eyes finally focused.

?Hey, how come you guys get comfortable chairs?? he pouted.

?Did you not just hear me??

?When??

?Just now!?

?Yes, you said ?Did you just hear me???

?NO! The part about stop whining and telling us what you know,? Simplicity dropped her hands to her side.

?Oh, that. Well, the thing is,? Retribution picked at his thumbnail, ?I don?t know what could cause Stuart?s alleged behavior. I talked to him a couple days ago, and he seemed to be normal.?

Sakura stood up and placed a hand on her friend?s shoulder, ?Has he spoken to you about any OB member that he normally doesn?t? Like, someone who you know he never really talked to before.?

?No,? Retribution rubbed his face, ?Can I please leave? This room is really killing my head.?

?Fine. Please make contact with us if you do notice anything strange,? Sakura sighed and sat back down.

Retribution nodded and walked past the two.

?Well, let?s call on Kitty. She has to notice something odd in her husband?s behavior, right?? Simplicity looked down at her watch.

Somewhere in the Art Studio

?I see. Well, I for one can?t tell you anything,? Syk3 yawned and lied flat on his back.

?Yeah, I?m trying to contact him on AIM; but I don?t see him online,? Annie swiveled in her stool.

?Where did you get that stool??

?I found it??

Syk3 folded his hands behind his head, staring at the stool Annie rubbed the back of her neck and waited to hear word from Badness, or Sakura and Simplicity.

?You know I?m here if you do end up needing help. I don?t know what I could possibly do, but,? Syk3 smirked.

?I know, thanks. What are you smirking at?? Annie tucked her hands under her rump.

?Oh, nothing. Just that I can see up your skirt, is all,? Syk3 blew a raspberry and laughed.

Annie?s face was burning with embarrassment and she jumped off of the stool. Straightening her skirt, she folded it under her as she sat on the floor. The second she did, Syk3 jumped to his feet and tackled the stool.

?Be careful, Syk3!? Annie called out and covered her face. It was too late, the moderator had already pounced. With a loud smash, both the stool and Syk3 tumbled to the floor. The only thing Annie saw between her fingers were limbs flailing about, Syk3?s hair, and a few broken pieces of the stool flying around. After a few minutes of listening to him groan and curse, Annie sighed and stood up to help him.

She started for where he landed when her attention was directed at a soft doorbell sound. Someone had just signed onto AIM. She turned around quickly to see that it was Stuart. Forgetting the mangled mess of Syk3 and stool, Annie ran to the keyboard.

?A little?help..? Syk3?s hand shook above the pile of wood.

On AIM

Annie: Hey Stuart!
Stuart: Yo, what?s goin on?
Annie: Oh, nothing much. How are you doing?
Stuart: I?m dandy, just heading to the Lounge to do my modding for the day.
Annie: Ah, have fun with that. *chuckles*
Stuart: Oh, I plan on it?>>
Annie: Eh?
Stuart: Damn n00bs, I?ll show them. I will show everyone not to mess with my modding abilities! I have the power~~!!2313##$#!zomg *shakes fist*
Annie: ??.are you okay, Stuart?

Looking a bit startled, Annie rushed to IM either Ezekiel or Mimmi.

Annie: Mimms, keep your eyes open; Stuart?s heading to the Lounge. See if anyone follows him.
Mimmi: Aye, aye, Captain! *salute* :3

Annie sat back and thought of what to say to Stuart. Her thoughts were shattered with an ?accept message? box popped up. The screen name wasn?t recognizable, but she clicked ?yes? anyway. Perhaps it was someone who could have valuable information.

N/A: I?m watching you and your Bandits. Stay away from our precious, devious plan?or else.
Annie: ?Our?? Who is this? Plan for what..?
N/A: Don?t worry about who I am. It?s better you don?t know.
Annie: What do you mean?
N/A: The less you know, the less danger you and the Bandits will be in.
Annie: Could I at least know why?
**Error: The user you wish to contact is no longer logged in.

?Damn it!? Annie stomped her foot.

?What?s going on?? Arcadia?s voice drifted into the room. Annie spun around to see her walking through the door. She stopped to jump back from the tangled stool and moderator. With a curious face, she looked to Annie.

?Is he going to be okay??

?Yeah, just give him a few minutes,? Annie waved her hands.

?So, I sent Stuart a PM,? Arcadia dug around in the small folder she was carrying under her arm, ?And he responded with this.?

She handed Annie a piece of paper. Taking it in one hand, her other on a hip, Annie read aloud:
[I']?Hey Arcadia! It?s so cool you PM?d me! I need your help; you and the Bandits have to help me! I?ve been---uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuggggggghhh..*thump*?
?You can?t be serious? That?s actually what?s written?? Syk3 finally recomposed himself and chucked a piece of wood to the floor.

?Yeah?it?s as if he were harshly interrupted,? Arcadia shrugged, ?This is very concerning, Annie. I?ve never seen anything like this.?

?Yeah, I had a strange run-in with him on AIM,? Annie flipped the paper over and back. She paced a bit before handing the paper back to Arcadia.

?What do you think he was trying to say?? Syk3 looked at the paper, then at the AIM conversation.

Shaking her head, Annie faced the two. She wondered if any of the other Bandits had found out anything.

Back in the interrogation room..

Kitty sat quietly. Her legs folded Indian style. She didn?t seem to have a problem with the red chair. Simplicity and Sakura stared at her for a few minutes. The chipper Kitty didn?t budge.

?So, you say you haven?t really seen much of your husband?? Sakura looked at her notepad.

?Sadly, I haven?t. After a few weeks ago, he?s been really into staying in hiding. If I see him, he always looks timid and scared ;_;? Kitty whimpered.

Simplicity stood up and walked over to Kitty with a box of Kleenex tissues. Kitty thanked her and clutched the box close to her chest. She plucked a tissue from the top and dabbed under her nose. Simplicity remained standing in front of her chair; Sakura sat back in hers. After Kitty finished blowing her nose and hushed her sniffling, she looked at the two.

?I?m really worried for him, not as much as you, Ms. Kitty,? Sakura finally spoke, looking up from her notes, ?Any little detail is very much appreciated and could possibly help us figure out what?s going on.?

?I understand,? Kitty nodded, eating the tissue she had just used.

Sakura and Simplicity blinked at each other, then at Kitty.

?So, uh?could you start with telling us what happened a few weeks ago?? Sakura tried to sound as if she hadn?t noticed the gross and odd feast Kitty had just devoured.

?One night, weeks ago, Stu had been working all day on the OB. He was very tired and a bit high-strung on all his posting. I told him that he should go out with his friends and relax a bit; unwind and cut loose,? Kitty sort of choked; Simplicity handed her a glass of water, ?Thank you. Anyway, he didn?t come back until late the next afternoon. I asked him what had happened, and he just ignored me; going straight into his den. Now, the den is where he goes to have ?alone time?. When he goes in there, you must not bother him.?

Kitty sliced the air with her hand. Sakura scribbled notes and Simplicity finally sat down.

?So, I sort of shrugged it off thinking he?d come around and talk to me. But a few days went by, and he didn?t talk. Instead, he spent most of his time in the den. Whenever he did come out for meals, he would be silent and text message on his cell phone. If I asked who he was talking to, he?d just say ?someone?. One night, he came barging into the house and started shouting at me to pack up. I told him I wasn?t going anywhere until he told me what was going on?? Kitty sniffled again, ?He then ran to our room, but when I entered, he was gone.?

?Gone?? Simplicity tilted her head.

?Yes. There were clothes strewn about the room, our suitcases were sprawled out on the floor, and our window was broken,? Kitty sobbed now, burying her face into the tissue.

?You haven?t seen him since?? How come you didn?t report this?? Simplicity tapped her nose.

?Because, the next day I received a PM from him. He apologized for the way he acted and the sudden disappearing. He said he just needed time to be away. Then, I saw his posts. So, I believed him and let him be alone. I get PM?s from him every now and again?.though, they?re pretty silly and random. I mean, Stu is random and silly at times, but there wasn?t anything like ?I miss you, babe? or ?I hope you?re doing okay; sorry to have put you through such a hassle? or anything like that?.?

The room fell silent, sans Kitty?s soft sobbing and sniffling. Simplicity turned to Sakura who?s face indicated an idea was formulating in her mind.

?We need to get in touch with Annie and the others. Kitty, I would like it if you came with us,? Sakura nodded.

In the Otaku Lounge

?Have you heard anything from Annie, other than that IM?? Ezekiel stretched, yawning.

?No. I hope everyone?s okay,? Mimmi peered through her binoculars.

?What do you need those for??

?To find manflesh, of course,? Mimmi smiled innocently, ?Oh, and to see if we can spot anyone following Stuart.?

The two sat perched upon the announcement box, watching the traffic in and out of the Lounge. Ezekiel took out a lunch pale she had brought along and offered Mimmi a sandwich. The Lounge was pretty dormant, and the two struck up a conversation about pants and books. It was a lovely conversation; Mimmi went on and on about her list of people?s pants she?d stolen. That is, until Stuart finally showed up.

?Look! He?s here, ? Ezekiel sat up, leaning over to make sure it was him.

?Indeed it is,? Mimmi looked through the binoculars, ?So far, he?s alone.?

?Wait, who?s this?? Ezekiel squinted.

?It can?t be! I thought he had been taken care of!? Mimmi dropped her binoculars.

?My goodness, we?d better get a hold of the others. We?re in for a long haul..?

The style is a little bit different from the originals, but they're still as great as ever, Annie. ^__^

I hope there's a lot more, but I guess I'll have to wait and see. You're a good writer. :animesmil

My oh my, such a teasing picture for such a teasing ending? Well it works out in my world. Yet I just want to know who it is already. Why are there so maby OB mystery parodies that make me wonder...who may the killer...really be...

I liked this chapter the best so far, presumably because the action's really starting to pick up now, I guess. As is the humor, heh. Characters were well done too. Hell, I suppose I just like this one the best overall. :P All the chapters have been enjoyable, but I think you really took all the elements (at least the few I'm apt to notice >>) up a notch here.

And although I don't want to seem like a nagger, the one part I can't say I was too keen on was the conversation between you and your mystery man. It seemed kinda... I don't know, I just wasn't nuts over that part. Still my favorite chapter so far, though. ^_^

XD That was a great way to kick it off.
