It was a quiet night in Bolest City. Most were, except when someone tried to cross the Epidemic. For now, the civilians were in home and praying that nothing would go wrong, while the Epidemic were holed up in the Palace, a club in the center of down that was called the Quarantine Zone when the Epidemic weren't listening. Loud music blared from within its walls, colored lights flashing in schizophrenic patterns across the dance floor. People writhed and drank and fucked in the wings. It was a typical night all around.

The Blood King grinned as he surveyed the ground level from the balcony the Epidemic usually kept themselves to. Behind him, Sleeper was draped out over a plush couch, her purple-streaked hair fluttered across her face as she dozed. Mad Bull was huddled over a package of explosives in the back, trying a new powder mixture. He had explained once that loud music helped him think. Errol just thought he liked the company, unlike so many bomb freaks.

"Oi, Bull," Errol called, not taking his eyes off the door. "Where're Death and Carnivore?"

"Carny probably got hungry," Mad Bull grunted. "Dunno about Death. Maybe he just waited 'til the sun went down. I swear, that guys a fuckin' vampire or somethin'."

Errol had to award Bull one point when he saw Carnivore walk through the double doors to the club a few minutes later, wiping his mouth with the back of his hand. The hulking blonde shoved past the party-goers in his way to the balcony entrance, and it didn't take him to stalk up the stairs and into the compartment with his allies.

"Sorry I'm late," he drawled.

"Hungry?" Errol asked, raising a sleek eyebrow.

Carnivore sneered. "I met the cutest little thing on my way home, and, well, you know how I get."

"Shit, Carny...when most men say somethin' like that, they're thinkin' with their cocks, not their stomachs," Mad Bull snorted. "I'll never get you."

"And I'll never understand your explosives, Bull-Shit," Carnivore growled in turn.

"Now, now, kids," Errol chuckled. "Don't want to wake the lady, do we?"

Carnivore looked over at Sleeper and snorted. "When isn't she asleep?"

"When you wake me up," Sleeper said, stifling a yawn. "Everybody here yet?"

"Old D's still absent, it appears," Errol said, keeping careful watch on the entrance.

As if on cue, the final member of the quintet stepped in, clad in his usual black attire. He slid through the crowd in a far less brutal member than the previous entrant, though he was just as swift. He made his way silently up the stairs, and surveyed the four in front of his with quiet contemplation. Errol clapped his hands and swung around, coat billowing around his ankles.

"Well, now that we're all here, I've got a spot of news."

Carnivore's grunt of interest was the only reply, so the Blood King plowed on ahead.

"According to my sources, the mayor has done a naughty thing. A very naughty thing, actually. You see, it appears that he's hired some assassins to take us out."

Mad Bull stopped fiddling, Sleeper opened her eyes for the first time since she flopped onto the couch, and Carnivore uttered a low, "No shit?"

"They'll probably be moving against us fairly soon, so I expect you all to be on your guard. Also, I've heard tales that there's other gang activity going on, so be watchful. I don't want any of you bastards getting killed."

"Pfft, like some half-wit gangsters and a coupla of dumbass assassins are gonna stop us," Carnivore laughed.

"Anyone comes 'round here lookin' fer trouble, I'll blow 'em straight to Kingdom Come," Bull said, grinning slightly.

"I'm glad to hear it," the King said. But what he didn't vocalize, however, is that he himself had no intention of surviving this conflict.

He was going to go out in style.

Lucifer put his back against the wall, hearing Errol's information about the assassins. He didn't give it much thought about someone hiring killers to murder him. It was just more people coming to meet their death. A new gang forming up? Like Lucifer would care. They we're probably a wanna-be gang like them or doing this to get attention. Then again....

"What took ya so fuckin' long? Are you finally matching your name? 'Old death?" Bull laughed as Lucifer turned to him.

What happened was, he went to the store and bought afew things before coming here. Needed more ammo for his priceless revolver and a two packs of cigarettes. When he brought it up to the cashier to pay, he didn't have enough cash on him. He said, sorry sir, but you can only get one pack of cigarettes. Lucifer needed the pack, so he wouldn't come to this pothole, so called a store. So, he killed him. But right when he killed the cashier, a young employee right beside him, so he killed him. Lucifer then packed the ammo and cigarettes and began to head out when this guy came running through the door in a hurry and smashed into Lucifer, knocking down the bag of ammo and cigarettes. So Lucifer killed him instantly and had to get the stuff once again, but found out that the last packets cigarettes were the ones that got smashed. Lucifer got pretty pissed and decided to just burn the place down. Lucifer decided not to share this with them. He never does anyway. He pushed himself off the wall and began to walk away.

"Where the hell you goin'?" Roared Bull as Lucifer pointed towards the exit.

Just when he turned around, some teenager bumped right into Lucifer, spilling beer on his black suit. The blonde kid was absolutely drunk as he cracked a smile and walked away. He looked down at his suit and glanced back at the others, who backed a foot away. They could easily tell he was pissed.
"I'll be right back." He said as he went into his jacket and gripped his revolver, following the drunk teen into the bathroom.

Dante entered his current place of residence and laughed, catching the attention of his subordinates. He walked casually to th einner bar and got himself a drink. He sat at the counter for a while, examinging his drink, brought it to his lips, took a long drink, and thre the empty cup towards thw wall. He quickly unsheathed his dagger, spun it, and launched it into the glass, causing it to shatter. Quicker than the eye could see, he drew the handgun from his side and shot the shattered glass.

"Heh...Pretty imppresive. I take it was a good night then, eh big V?" Kain's voice flittered from the couch. He leaned his head back to stare his friend in the eye. They were the closest of the bunch, only because they both prefered a speedy, yet entertaining mannerism of man-slaughter. P was too...wild, in her battles. And Felix, rather, H was ruthless. He didn't take the time to enjoy it. Dante grinned.

"When doesn't it go well, eh buddy? What you been up to all night? No, let me guess. You've been sleeping." Dante broke out into laughter. Kain rolled his eyes and drew his daggers in an irritated manner, spinning one on his right pointer finger.

"Well, some of us, who know what are mission is, have been resting and training so that we can take down the Epidemic. I realize this isn't your first concern, but none-the-less, we're getting paid for this. Don't fuck it up." Dante laughed and poured two drinks, walking over to the couch and handing one to Kain.

"Lighten up. They said our main objective was to take down the Epidemic, but that we could also take to the streets and take care of problems down there. That gal was merely a target. I just figured that she should go out a with a bang." Kain rolled his eys, and smiled slightly, pointing to the hallway. Dante looked over and grinned.

P was walking out of her room, and she was fully prepared to leave. Dante sighed slightly. I guess everyone else has been getting ready... He smiled warmly and walked over to P, bowing and kissing her hand. He raised his head just so that he could look into her eyes.

"Good evening, my dear. Good to see you are well. I hope you're well rested." P smiled and lightly removed her hand from his.

"Well rested? It's basically nighttime. I've been up for a good 12 hours. But thank you for your concern. However, don't get any ideas. You're still not getting any from me." Kain stifled a laugh. Dante grinned and shrugged.

"Eh, he probably figures it's always worth a shot." Felix uttered as he strode from his room. Even when casually walking around, the man was fast. He walked over and took a seat at one of the bar stools.

"So...What's the gameplan?" Dante dropped his usual demeanor and replaced it with that of a serious leader. He walked turned around and walked from them, talking as he paced.

"The Epidemic has been spotted at The Quarantine Zone. Now would be the most opprotune time to strike. Asides," he said grinning,"there'll be plenty of onlookers to tear through if it comes down to it." Felix and P said nothing, Kain was the only one who appreciated the comment. The other two were viscous, but really didn't have much control over that. Whatever.

"Word is that the Experiments'll be joining the party as well. Should be pretty interesting. Though the experiments are our enemy as well, we could use them in a temporary alliance, then turn around and stab them in the back. Sound good?" They nodded enthusiatically. Dante smiled broadly, removing his blade from the wall and reloading his handgun.

"Now...shall we go?"

Kain sat up on the couch, he grabbed his drink and gulped it down. He set it down and let out a happy sigh. His other two blades appeared in between his fingers. He smiled the wickedly he usually did.

"I think we should have a little bit of fun." V understood where he was going, P and H on the other hand. Looked annoyed with this, Kain just rolled his eyes at them. He then started to play with his daggers, flipping them between his fingers and twirling them. He was waiting to see what the others would say. V looked around, listning for suggestions.

"Well, if noone else has got anything to say other then T's idea. We're going out to have fun." Kain smiled and stood up. He walked to the door and stood next to to it waititng for the others to get up and go outside. Kain was growing impatient within a few seconds.

"Come on ya lazy fucks. I'm tired of being cooped up in this place." They all got up and headed for the door, Kain and V were the first up ahead. P and H were laziely following. As they stepped into the outside world Kain couldn't help but walk faster into the city, wanting with extrem urgnecy, to run into one of the wanna be gangs that they were being payed to eliminate.

Kain was dying to test his skills on people who possibly were equal in skill, But he wasn't ready to get his hopes up, at that time. He just wanted to slay somebody, to toy with them before they died at his hands.

OOC: Sin, I think I should point out that you represented P really poorly. I wouldn?t usually pick it out, but you made her personality seem totally the opposite to what she actually is. She?s psychotic and would be dying for bloodshed, not meandering lazily behind the group. I know it's easy to mess character's personalities up, so I thought it would be best to point it out.

P skipped a little as she walked, her crowbar strapped to her back as it always was, the stubs on her belt strap twinkling from the overhead streetlamps. She grinned manically as her fringe flicked up with her brisk walk, hands clasped behind her back, making the girl look suspiciously innocent in comparison to her companions.

Dante shook his head and chuckled lightly at P?s antics, watching the young woman bound over to Kain, who was looking pretty intense, himself.

?So, Kain, we going to find ourselves the nearest rough bar, buy a few drinks, then beat up the first guy who looks at us wrong? Huh? Can we??

Kain smiled darkly and cast his gaze down to P, her luminescent hair bouncing happily as she moved next to him.

?I guess we could, Lord knows gang members trying to be tough would hang out in a seedy, drug filled bar.?

?And I could find a woman,? Dante chirped, ?Seeing as P is being selfish.? He finished.

?I?m sorry for keeping my legs closed, V.?

?So you should be, you dirty little??

Kain coughed and both P and Dante laughed, knowing he wasn?t in the mood for their antics. Felix merely sighed and shook his head, shielding his eyes as the group stepped onto a brightly lit side street, neon signs advertising ?Free Women, Drinks $5 Each? and the like. P giggled at the provocative signs while Dante began figuring his options.

?There.? Felix said simply, pointing a head of the group.

?Got a feeling, huh?? Dante asked, cocking his head to one side as he read the club sign.

Felix nodded and shoved his hands in his pockets, going over to open one of the doors. P snorted and read the sign aloud, ??The Palace?? Doesn?t sound like a gang place to me??

The doors of the Palace swung open, four strangers stepping inside. Errol let his gaze drift over them from behind the lenses of his crimson sunglasses. A young woman with a crowbar strapped to her back looked around, a manic glint in her eyes. All of them had the air of danger about them, from a tall and almost painfully beautiful man, to one who looked about as normal as they came. Each one radiated bloodlust, and it made the Blood King's skin prickle in anticipation.

"Carnivore, Bull," he said softly, not tearing his eyes away from the woman. "Those four who just came in. Bring them up here."

The duo grumbled, but they obeyed none the less, stalking out of the Epidemic's private box to head down to the crowd. Bull was the one to approach the quarter, slipping off his goggles to get a good look at them.

"Bola wants to see ya in our private box," he said gruffly, stretching out his wide shoulders in a subtle gesture of power. The four looked unphased. "C'mon."

There was a pause, but they followed easily enough, Carnivore and Mad Bull leading the way. The crowd seemed to gasp and murmer, since visiting the Epidemic's private box was something of an honor. Or a death sentence.

Errol's fingers drummed on the hilt of his blade as he waited for the guests to arrive. He wanted to know who they were, why they came here and, most importantly, if they were any good in a fight. Death seemed to have the same thought process, his hand resting firmly on the butt of his gun. And though she looked utterly relaxed, Sleeper had stealithly covered her long, painted nails in an excruciating stonotoxin.

At last, the door swung open, and a grin split across Errol's thin lips.

"Welcome, my guests."

"Well, thank you for the invite," the tall man said calmly. A placid smile was in place on his features, but Errol could read faint malice in his eyes.

Carnivore and Mad Bull made their way back to the seats where the rest of the Epidemic was congregated. The King stood in front, towering over his allies and his potential enemies.

"So, might I ask who you are?"

"You could, probably. Are you?" the man replied, playfully.

"Yes. And you'd be wise to answer."

"Professionals," he said, pleasently. "The name is V. My comrades are P," the woman, "H," a dark haired boy, "and T," a normal looking man, but Errol could see the knives at his side.

"And what kind of professionals are you?" Errol said, the humor beginning to leech out of his voice. He knew what the answer was.

"Killers," P chirped, brightly. "You the Epidemic?"

"Indeed," the Blood King said, chuckling darkly. "You look like you have good blood, girl. Mind if I...spill it?"

In a flash, his sword was drawn, and a cut glistened wetly on P's cheek. Errol pulled his blade back slowly and let his tongue drag across the crimson fluid that dripped down it's edge with sensual slowness. It was hot and sweet - heavenly.

"Time to end the pleasentries, I think," H murmured, drawing out two elegantly curved blades.

"I couldn't agree more, kid," Carnivore growled, crackling his knuckles loudly.

There was a brief pause, and all hell broke loose.

OOC: Feel free to spread out the carnage - we don't need to be constrained to the box and, in fact, I'd prefer to get some bystanders in the mix. Virus, Experiment, join in at any time.

Gin smiled broadly as he walked down the street, hands crossed behind his head. He was obviously happy about something, but with that damned goofy smile, you'd never know about what. Two dextile fingers found his cellphone, and he plucked it out, holding it in a quite strange way-by the top of the phone with two fingers, so that it hung by his ear. After a short little chat, Gin flicked his wrist up and the cellphone closed.

Gin was estatic. He loved fighting almost as much as he loved his drinks. An aura of pure...joy seemed to buzz around his head. They had found a member of the Illz a week ago. Mino. He refused to speak at all, so they decided to give him a chance to escape. Beat Gin, and the kid could escape. He took the offer. Gin had just been informed of this turn of events, and was extremely joyful. A chance to kill something was always appreciated, kid or not.

Mino was unhappy. He was more than unhappy, he was depressed. In an effort to help the Illz, he had been sneaking around one of the Virus' hangouts, trying to find information about anything. He had picked up money and weapons and even a small bit of that information that was valued above anything else. But he was eventually found by a member. Her name was Misha and he personally thought that she had quite a nice body. That wasn't smart to say around Misha, and he had gotten smacked around a few times. It was actually quite comical to watch.

Gin approached his building and the motorcycle that was outside. Gin, nonchalant as always, swung his leg over it and inserted a key, turning it as the engine revved. His foot feell down and the bike sped down the road, filled with potholes and debris. However, his quick reflexes made sure that the obstacles didn't provide problems. Making a quick right, Gin's motorcycle hit a piece of debris tilted at just the right angle to make him fly into the air and into the "arena" for the battle.

Swinging himself off of the motorcycle and turning it into a graceful, arcing flip, Gin landed and let one hand rest on his katana, Shinsou. Mino was lurking in the shadows as dust billowed around. Gin let out what seemed to be a giggle and spoke in a taunting manner.

"Ain't da littl' kit-cat gunna come outta da bag...?" Bending at the waist, Gin rose one finger and waggled it from side to side, clearly saying, "Nope." Mino was obviously a kid roused by taunts, as he moved from the cover of the shadows and into Gin's view. Giving the young man a look, Gin pulled out his cellphone and tossed it to Mino.

" 'Ere yeh go, fer bein' so gutsy ya get to call yer friends." Gin pulled out Shinsou and put it behind him, before leaping into the air and standing on the hilt of it, driving the blade into the ground as he stood on it.

"Ya's gots till before I fall off ta call yer friends, bud."Gin could stay up there as long as he liked, as his balance was no problem. This would be quite fun, indeed...

OOC: Sorry I took awhile to reply, I was actually going to on Friday but someone broke my modem. By the way Lan, since I'm fighting with your character tell me if I got anything wrong and I'll change it.

They all looked good enough to eat, but Carnnivore had his eyes on the boy. If the brief pause they all shared he ran his tongue across his teeth, to check if they were too sharp, still good enough for the job. Then, in the same instant everyone else moved, he sprung forward and grabbed H by the waist. Carnivore's height over H was magnificent, and so was his weight, which meant that they both crashed into the doors to the private box. Carnivore was expecting to hit a floor any moment so he could begin slashing his prey up, but he didn't. Instead he found that he lost his grib on H when the back of his head smashed into a metal staircase.

He ended up falling down in the middle of a crowd, who quickly backed away. Carnivore didn't look at them once, instead he looked around for H. He wasn't there, he should have been crushed under his own weight.

"Where the fuck are you, kid?" he growled, getting to his feet and rubbing his head. Just when he turned around he was hit in the face by something hard. His guess was a foot or the handle of a knife, whichever it was it sent him into the bar.

Instinctively, not knowing where his attacker was, he picked up the bottle of alcohol beside him and lauched it. Instead of hitting his attacker he hit a bystander in the face who fell to the ground, clutching his head in his heads and making a noise like a wounded mutt. Carnivore growled in frustration.

"Too slow?" H asked from somewhere in the room. Carnivore took one glance at the carnage above him and then decided he wasn't going to take any bullshit from a child.

H was coming up from his side with his blades, really to slice Carnivore's head off. Carnivore saw him this time. As H approached him he turned and slammed his hand around his throat. H looked a little surprised, but not as surprised as he was going to be. Carnivore lifted H off the ground in one quick move and slammed him against the bar, pushing his head on the glass with his other hand.

"What blood type are you? No wait, don't tell me... I think I'll be patience and wait." Carnivore said, mockingly. He lifted H up again and threw him on the floor, placing his knee on H's chest so he couldn't get up. Carnivore wasn't going to make the same mistake of letting him go again. Carnivore raised his hand and was about the ram it into H's nose, but he was stopped.

His eyes widened when he noticed the end of a blade coming out through the back of his hand. Normally, this would have made someone scream in pain and cower somewhere, but not Carnivore, it just made him angry. He would have attacked, but H had taken that brief moment to move away from Carnivore. When Carnivore got up and shook his hand, spilling blood all over the place, he was greeted with another blade.

This time he caught H's hand and pulled him closer before sinking his teeth into the boy's arm.

"What?" There was a small pause then Auden nodded his head. "Alright, Mino. We'll be there soon, try not to die until we get there."

He flipped the phone shut, slipping it back into his pocket, turned to the others. The other Illz members waited for his comment on the phone call. Auden ran his fingers through his hair, glancing over at Syris. She didn't look back at him, too focused on an inventory list.

Travis stood from his seat to lean against the wall besides him. "What was that about?"

Before Auden could answer him Chase butted in. Teasingly, he snickered, "Mino gonna bite the big one soon."

Syris looked up and placed the inventory list down on the table. They watched her as she kneeled crawled beneath the table. Returning from underneath with a thin silver suit case and black handle. Quickly loading it and throwing the strap over her shoulder. She stood dusting her self off, Auden was gone.

As they slowly filed out of their headquarters. Walking up the stairs, Syris held on to the long black railing. It was smooth and cold, her hand lifted off as she eyed the alley. Auden had already gone to the storage area where the fight had been set. A silent command; they'd have to drive fast enough if they wanted to take part in the fight.

Travis opened the door to his Porsche, which clearly, his sports scholarship held no grounds on. Chase and Brittany went into the back seats from opposite sides. Brittany waved good bye. Syris waved good-bye and watched them leave before she got into a black Infiniti G35. Taking an extra round of bullets from underneath the passengers seat and stuffing them into her pocket, Syris found her own way.

There was a dim light above. It seems as though there was only a light on per every 20 square foot of the cement floor. Storage crates and boxes stacked, the high windows were all tinted a murky shades of green.

"Are you sure this is the proper place?" Chase asked as he kicked at the ground. A small puff of dust raised and quickly fell back to the ground.

"This place is so dirty." Brittney was too easily annoyed by small things.

"Brittney, you're terrible." Syris giggled, taking a step forward. "But yes, this is the place. Do you seen any of them?"

Travis cracked his knuckles as he walked further into the center of the storage house that was to be their 'fighting grounds.' Surely enough there was Auden and Mino conversing in the dark. Gin not too many feet away. Auden held a make shift weapon. Why did no one ever ask her to give them one. It could have easily been done, if they simply asked. Syris readyed her submachine gun to fire incase Gin moved before Auden did.

P paused as she felt blood trickle down her cheek, finding herself only slightly shocked by the speed at which her opponent moved. Slowly her face split into a wide grin, her seemingly delicate hand reaching up to smear the blood from her cut down her cheek in four vertical lines. She caught the look in Errol's eyes and calmly reached back to her crowbar.

V muttered something about moving away rather quickly.

"I see you like people's blood, Mr Epidemic." P stated, flicking the clasp of her crowbar's holster so the weapon dropped neatly into the palm of her hand.

Errol nodded only slightly and slipped back into a ready stance, his sword pointed directly at P's abdomen.

"You see, I like blood too...I like to see it flowing in great puddles around my enemies body. I don't, however, like seeing my own blood..." she stood still, hand still behind her back, just barely gripping her chosen weapon. Errol's face twisted into a small frown before he spoke "You're awful cocky, girl...Instead of just standing there, why don't you come over here and prove your worth?"

"I plan to do just that..."

The crowds now watching from the dance floor of the club gaped as P shot forward, her crowbar smashing down on the unprepared Errol. He grunted as his shoulder popped backwards, managing to sidestep as another swing was aimed at him, this time, it would have cracked his skull.

He reached up to push his glasses further up his nose and smirked, "Such agility and such strength! What a shame I'm going to have to dispose of you."

P said nothing but smiled in return, leaning on her crowbar as if this was a mere conversation. She blotted her comrades out for the moment, not wanting to be distracted when she knew they were perfectly capable of handling themselves.

"Your move, Mr. Epidemic..."

OOC: I'm slightly disturbed by the fact I wrote this post to Bagpipe music...that's probably why it sucks so much. ._.

Since Errol was taking on the woman and Carnivore was fighting the kid, that left the ones called V and T. Lucifer slowly got up from his seat and dust himself off. He had been waiting for a decent match for a long time. Hopefully, one of them can give him one. T stepped up, taking out his knives he carried. He was stopped by V, though as a smile went over his face.

?This one is mine. I want to see what makes this guy special.? T backed down as his leader replaced him. He rotated his neck as he cracked his knuckles. This guy didn?t seem to be bloodthirsty type. He kept his cool as he got into a battling stance.

Lucifer went into his pocket and pulled out a cigarette. He lit it as he stared at V through his sun glasses. Let?s see what make this guy a leader. With a quick wrist, Lucifer snatched his gun from his coat and fired at the calm leader. He swift to his right as the bullet seemed to barely missed. V charged at Lucifer, staying low as possible. Lucifer fired again, but he dodged with ease like the last time. He went to his left as he watched V?s fist miss by a inch. So this guy is a close-combat expert.

Thinking quicky, he pulled his gun at the rebounding V. He fired at point blank, blood flying into the air. V backed away, holding his shoulder even though Lucifer fired at his head.

?Damn, I should have dodged that.? The leader whispered as he turned his attention to Lucifer, who was loading his gun.

?Sorry I missed. I should have killed you right there.? V smiled at Lucifer?s comment. V, surprisingly attacked again as Lucifer aimed at his approaching enemy. He fired again as hie dodged it gracefully. With pure athletic ability, he jumped straight at Lucifer. During his flight, he quicky pulled out something from his from his left. Lucifer went to his right, but was cut right on his right arm. Lucifer looked at his arm, which was bleeding lightly. This was going to be a decent challenge after all.

Gin couldn?t help but look at Syris and the rest of that group, and just smile. Teeth catching the glint of sunlight above, he spun on the hilt of Shinsou and turned to face them with a cheery wave. Moving to stand on his tiptoe, Gin jumped off and landed on his left foot again, before setting the other one down. Reaching back and adjusting his shirt, Gin?s fingers found Shinsou?s hilt, and he pulled it out from the ground. Slinging it across his shoulders, his mouth formed words in that broken, but lovely accent of his.

?Time?s up, yawls. Yeh read?h to have fun, eh?? Gin was practically dancing around. If he killed them all here, there?d be nothing to worry about. Guns, though. That?d just make it all the more exciting! Things blowing up, blood flowing through the air in graceful, muddy arcs?yes, it was moments like this that this anti-hero of sorts, Gin, lived for. Without a word, Gin pointed a long and dextile finger at Chase.

??Ey, Mr. Cocky?s back, yawls! I remembah?you?s the one that tried ta kill meh? Not like I?m da ?un that kidnapped Mino from yawls anywho?? Rambling on, Gin danced forward, right up to Syris? face. Silver hair tickling her nose, he jumped up into the air and landed behind the group. Syris looked quite?blank for a moment before her face slipped into uncertainty and then an annoyed scowl.

Gin was loving every moment of this. A single shot of gunfire rang out from Syris? gun, and it tore a small hole through Gin?s left arm. He didn?t howl out, but brought the wound up to his face and studied it. Pulling up Shinsou, he put it right on the wound and let it conform into a smaller shape, with two needle nose pilers that weren?t very big at all. Grabbing both of the miniscule snakeskin hilts, he locked the miniature pilers around the bullet and pulled it out, before pulling a bandaid out. Patching up his arm, he picked up the bullet and studied it.

?Yeppers?I ?us righ? and all. You?s a black arms deala?, young lady. Dun suppose ya?d wanna come ?n work fer littl? old me, ne?? She seemed to look at him for the longest time before Gin decided to make a move, picking up Shinsou again and pointing it at Mino. With a flash, Shinsou uncoiled from it?s metal sleep, twisting around in the air and extending, curling around thin air before striking out at an incredible speed, straight for Mino.

Dante landed gracefully after striking Old Death's arm. He spun around and narrowly dodged two more bullets. He backflipped, landed on a table, and handlessly cartwheeled off of it, but not fast enough to dodge the bullet. It grazed his right arm, but that wasn't going to stop Dante, not by a long shot. He hit the ground holding his arm anf slid under a table for protection. Old Death laughed.

"Impressive, V. I'm glad you challenged me instead of T. You're proving to be quite the challenge." Date laughed and retuned the compliment.

"You're not bad yourself, Old Death. There's rarely ever been a bullet I couldn't evade. You should pride yourslef in having hit me twice. But those won't go unrepayed." Old Death grinned and started chuckling.

"Have at it, then." Dante flipped the table over, sheathed his blade, and pulled out his handgun. Time for a shoot-out. He shot twice at Old Death, who rolled to the left in time to evade actually being shot, but his jacket had been punctured. He returned fire, shooting a hole into Dante's right glove, which he had removed in anticipation of the blast.

"Nice. Never seen that kinda awareness in a warrior before." Old Death said amusedly. Dante was starting to regret having to kill him. He was growing fond of his advesary. Pity. Old Death took advantage of Dante's lapse in movement to shot him in the same shoulder again. Dante roared with pain, and dropped to the ground. Old Death walked towards him, barell smoking. He was ready to end it. But Dante wasn't.

He fired to distraction shot from the ground, flung his handgun at Old Death and ran at him barefisted. His frist punch connected right with Old Death's jaw, sending him rearing, and giving Dante enough time to grab his handgun from midair and put it back at his side. He grinned at Old Death.

"Your move."

Syris stared for a minute stunned by Gin's weapon ability. Quickly she, shot aimed at the two available pressure points. One hit the second pressure point, three fourths to the top center of his lower forearm on his right side. The other shot missed.

Mino dodged back and off to the side. The Shinsou striking into his shoulder. His body yielded to the delivered blow, he sled back a few feet. Gasping slightly from the pain of the blow. He began to stumble backwards catching him self clumsy on the edge of a near by crate. Auden lunged forward, Gin moving for another strike, Auden made a quick strike. Missing, Gin had already moved. Faster then should have appeared possible.

None of them could spot Gin. Auden slowly stood, Mino leaning against his left side. Using his arm for support. He grunted gripping his make shift weapon tighter. With careful haste Travis and Brittney moved over to Mino's and Auden's poistion. Quickly slingling one of Mino's arms around Travis's shoulders and lifting him slightly.

Gin's voice rang out and seemed to echo, "Yawls not too' quickly witted, ne?"

Chase fallowed over closer to Auden, taking out his lighters and a roll of paper from his pocket. He quickly lit them and threw them around on the floor. Giving way to quick movements in the shadows.

Quickly Syris stepped back and stood opposite of the others. Crouching down upon one knee, she reloaded and adjusted the Madsen's strap. Within the corner of two stacks of crates, ready to fire again. There was a small clank. A bullet falling to the ground.

Gin stood in view now. The pieces of paper burning brightly, they'd soon go out again. His mouth was still curved into that terrible broad smile. The bullet removed he had already bandaged the bullet hole.

Auden chuckled to him self, "This is getting old, Gin."

"Aw, Mr. Cocky?s not havin' fun." Gin tapped the blade of his weapon lightly. "Well, jus gotta' fix that, eh?"

Syris began to shot before Gin could move.

"Your move, Mr. Epidemic."

"Please, call me Errol," the Blood King chuckled darkly. With a graceful movement, he flung off his trenchcoat, sending it sprawling across the couches behind him. He rolled his shoulder slowly, seeing how much damage the girl had done. It didn't feel like too much, and his improved healing was already making things better. He held up his sword and pointed it at her, smirking devilishly. "Or, you could call me King, and end this little scuffle, my tasty little friend."

"I'd rather call you dead!"

Errol scowled as the woman rushed at him again, her crowbar whiffing not an inch from the side of his head as he jerked to the side. He slashed out with his blade as he moved past her, tracing a thin cut on her side. The brief thrill of bloodshed, however, was halted as she swung around to kick him in the chest, her crowbar soon following and clipping his chin. He staggered back, but quickly regained his footing and pushed his shades back up the bridge of his nose.

"You're quick, girl," Errol said, smiling softly. "Impressive. Let's take this to the next level, shall we?" His grin turned manic, and he raised his blade to cut a shallow gash across his upper arm. He dipped his fingers into the wound lightly, ignoring the slight pain, and held his dripping fingers aloft before flicking them hard, casting gore into his enemy's face. "Here's blood in your eye!"

The woman growled but didn't falter, rushing forward and swinging wildly with her weapon. Errol let out a low grunt of pain when it collided with his arm, and snarled when the hooked end tore a hole in his shirt. The acidic blood that surely must be blinding her seemed to barely effect her. She just kept coming, more brutally than before.

"I'm gonna destroy you!" she cheered manically.

"You can try, you crazy bitch!" Errol snarled.

Gin giggled, estatic as the bullet tore through air and dust to reach him. Calmly, he rose Shinsou and the bullet clanged against the metal, stopping it dead in it?s tracks. There was little recoil. Syris and the rest of the Illz seemed to stop again in their tracks. Flash Stepping behind the group, he slashed his way down Syris? arm, leaving a gash that began to flow with blood and clot. Shinsou seemed to glint in the sunlight, enjoying the taste of blood and the complete tension of the air.

Bullets rang out at Gin. One hit him in the right arm, tearing straight through with a splatter. The others missed. Gin let in a hiss of air and stuck a finger through his arm, watching it poke out the other end. This amused him, and he spent a second playing with the hole in his arm before moving to bandage it. Wiping the blood and bone off on the sandstone wall, Gin moved down to guide his blade against Mino?s arms and shoulders, leaving one large lesion that took a second to erupt with blood over Mino?s shoulders and two arms.

?Hehe?I?s gots ya good dere, buddy. Din? I?? Gin was cut short as more shots rang out, one striking Shinsou, and reflecting back on to nick Gin in the face, just below the eye. She was a skilled shot. He almost felt wrong for having to etch her blood into the ground. He had an idea. String her along for a little while more, and then make an offer she couldn?t refuse. If she did, then he could kill her without any qualms. Wiping away a bit of blood from his eye, he popped the end of Shinsou?s hilt off, and a few drips of a heavy antiseptic coated his finger. Applying it to above his eye, the bleeding stopped.

?Bandaid covers da bullet ?ole n? all?? He muttered and cast a glance at Syris. There was something about her that was unnerving. Maybe it was that cold stare that she looked on him with. Maybe it was something else. He shrugged mentally and decided to resume fighting.

Metal against metal, the stench of blood and sweat, the heated air swirling around dust in everyone?s eyes, it was beautiful. Like something out of a poem in which there was no happy ending. Something like a civil war?but more civil. Before long, Gin decided to inact his plan, and disappeared from everyone?s sight before appearing behind Syris.

Gin held his blade against Syris? throat as he felt the barrel of her gun grind against his ribs.

?Do yeh real?h wanna see ?itch one of us can kill da other firs?, littl?l lady? ? Gin had stopped smiling. His accent changed to words that were slow and intoxicating.

?What do these people mean to you?when I could bring you power?? He pressed his fingers against her cheek, turning Syris? head to look into his soft crimson eyes and silver bangs. Gin repeated himself.

?Tell me?young child of the military officer, what do you need these people for? You are the one that is the distressed genius, which no one understands, burdened with the weight of your less-smart friends. I can bring you to a place where your skills are appreciated and actually put into good use. Seeing as how I, one member of the Virus, can do this to you, imagine what 3 other gangs of people just like me, could do. Make your choice, Syris. I won't wait long.?

OOC: I deleted my last post because Gavin and myself have come up with some different ideas for the rest of the Experiment to the ones I posted about. Hope this didn't cause too much confusion.

G dropped down from the top of the building, the spines on his arms retracting, leaving a smear of blood where each one pierced the skin. He had killed a lot of government soldiers tonight, but he was still in need of more...

"Penny for 'em," the voice came from nowhere, but G instantly knew who it was. He turned to face one of his team-mates, the only female member of the Experiment.

"D. It's been a while," he said with a devilish grin, "So what's the news?"

"The Epidemic are having some kind of shindig up in the Quarantine Zone. You fancy checking it out?" she asked, pulling a dagger from her belt and twirling it around.

"That's a stupid question. You know me, anything to get in the Epidemic's face," replied G, licking his lips.

"I thought you'd say that. B and W are gonna meet us there. Let's go!" she hissed excitedly. G started off into a run, heading towards the central city. He could easily run the mile or so that there was between the outskirts and the Quarantine Zone. His stamina was almost unmatched within the Experiment.

D followed closely behind him. She was faster than him, lighter and more agile as well, but she had less strength and stamina. She was a formidable opponent, though. G had many scars on his body from training sessions with her.

But he gave as good as he got...

Soon the pair arrived at the club. The sounds of a ruckus came from inside, the screams of civilians filling the air. G laughed, and started towards the door.

"Stop!" said D, holding him back, "B and W are gonna be here soon. We'd better wait for them before we go in."

"They're big boys, I'm sure they can handle themselves. We can just keep the crowd busy until they get here, anyway."

"But you know what B's like about these things."

"Screw B. I'm going in," said G defiantly, pushing the door open and entering the club. Inside was a scene of devastation. Fights had broken out all over the club, not just between gang members, but also between civilians.

A quick scan of the club revealed to G that the Professionals had stormed the building, and the Epidemic weren't too happy about it.

Now he was about to throw a wild card in the mix...

He concentrated, and allowed a flood of his own hormone to enter his bloodstream. He felt his muscles bulge, and the sharp barbs of bone slid out from his skin. He smiled as his eyes turned yellow, and leapt into the fray...

Syris nodded slightly, cautious of the blade held so close to her neck. Gin could slit her faster then she could shoot. Quietly, she complied.

The lights slowly went out one by one from the burning rolls of paper.

Chase took out another, smaller, roll of wrinkled white paper. Lighting it, he threw it forwards. Glowing brightly as soft foot steps became apparent, separating it's self from the silence. Mino cocked him self up straight against the crates, grunting. Auden's hand quickly pushed him back down. The shadows moved slightly as the papers burned. Travis looked up briefly at the tinted windows. The sun seemed to finally be shifting.

A sloshing sound moved closer as two figures moved into the minute fire's glow. Syris cracked her neck holding her arm closely to her side. Gin's smile had returned, but the others had never seen it leave. Gin giggled, twisting the strap of Syris's Madsen around her neck.

Travis jumped up pulling out a pockect knife from the inside lining of the sole of his shoe. Gin let go of the strap and waved a finger in the teasingly. Uncurling the rest of his fingers, Lugars and Paras fell from his hand. Clinking as they hit the grounding, rolling.

"Do yeh real?h wanna see this littl?l lady die?" Gin's smiled grew wider, "We'ce hit ta' littl?l deal. Yawls get a' go free ."

"We can take care of our-selves." Before Auden could finish, Chase cut him off.

" And we can't leave without her, she's our top tactics director." Chase said, annoyed. Syris was their tactics director.

"Don't make this be for nothing. I can take care of my self." She paused and thought. "If anything happens to my Infiniti, I'll kick all your asses."

Auden chukled, "You won't because were not leaving with out you."

"Get going."

Annoyed, Syris quickly moved forwards. Kicking the burning coil of papers. Landing up against one of the wooden crates it quickly set on fire. As the crate burned, the flames slowly raised up over the stack behind it. Soon it'd burn down the building within an hour.

Auden threw Mino over his shoulder. Lifting him he glance backed at Syris. Unwavering the group quickly left. Chasing looking back behind at her. She waved good-bye.

A puff of smoke escaped into the air as R.J. sat the comfort of the Virus? headquarters. He seemed to pass the time by holding his smoke together with his psychic abilities, holding it together before it dispersed and transforming it into shapes and words. He sucked the last of his cigarette into his mouth and leaned forward from his relaxing position on the couch to put out the rest of it, letting smoke out from behind his lips. Now without a cigarette to keep him occupied, R.J. had become restless and wondering. Gin had not responded to his cell phone for quite some time and neither were any of the other Virus. With nothing to do, R.J. got up from the couch and grabbed his belonging, deciding to ride around until he got a call from either Gin or the others.

On his way out, R.J. grabbed a pair of keys from the table as well as his pinstripe blazer and walked out to the garage. In front of him was a sleek silver Aston Martin Vanquish, one of the few valued possessions that R.J. had. When R.J. stepped into the car and turned the engine on, it began to purr, its soft churning giving a grin upon R.J.?s face. He loved the smoothness of the car and how easily it glided on the streets, even in its highest speed. Upon opening the garage door, R.J. put on black sunglasses and dashed out of the garage, making a screeching sound as he slid across the pavement.

R.J. was beaming with a smile as he drove down the road, not even knowing where he was headed. As he was driving down the road, he passed by a Porsche, which was driven by a teenager, that carried three persons and behind it was an Infiniti G35, also driven by a teenager, which carried two. With one quick glance at one of the passengers, seeing that one of received a nasty cut wound on his shoulder. It wasn?t from any normal blade, there could only have been one blade that could have done that work and it belonged to... ?Gin.?

Looking both ways, R.J. drove into the middle of the road and stopped his car, knowing that the road he was one was rarely used, which was why he drove on it so often. He stepped out and sat on top of the hood, lighting another cigarette. The teenagers gazed out of the front windows and couldn?t tell at first who the man on the car was but when he took off his sunglasses, they saw that he was another Virus. Anger boiled in the Porsche?s driver, who gripped onto the steering wheel until his knuckles seemed to turn white. Without thinking, he stepped on the gas pedal and sped towards R.J., who sat there nonchalantly. What the driver didn?t know was that R.J. created an illusion of himself and the car, while he teleported the car and himself to the other side of the intersection.

Shouts came from the Porsche as it ran through the illusion, making it disappear on contact. It came to a screeching halt with the driver abruptly getting out of his car with a raging expression on his face. A fire burned within his eyes but so did fear, something that spread throughout the group.

?Where are you, mothafucka?!? Furiously, the driver turned looking for R.J., not knowing he was directly behind him. ?Where the hell are you?! Stop bein? a damn prick and show yourself!?

?I?m right here, boy.? R.J.?s voice made the driver jump. He kept an eye on the driver, who clenched his fists but knew what was happening around him. ?Uh-uh, I wouldn?t try that, homie. I know what you?re going to do before you do it, ya know.?

Disbelieving him, Brittany took a small explosive and was ready to light it when it was taken from her hand. R.J. still had his gaze locked on Travis, the driver, whose knuckles were turning white.

?I think I told you, don?t try any bullshit here. So, I guess you?re the little spy?s friends, ain?t ya? Where is that little fool anyways?? A car door opened and holding it for support, Mino stepped out. ?There he is. Ya know, I don?t know why y?all want tah do this kind of shit, but you?d better stop now before y?all get seriously hurt.? R.J. turned and put on his sunglasses, walking back towards his car. ?Y?all already got a taste of Gin, y?all don?t want the main course.?
