Am I the only person who didn't understand this movie?

What was the point of this movie?

It kind of left me with an empty feeling at the end.

[color=crimson] The movie explains that, pretty well, I think. [spoiler] The Aliens are attacked by a virus or bug that kills them because they're not immune to it, like other organisms on the planet that most probably are.

In their arrogance in assessing this planet to take and destroy, they overlooked the thign that would take them down. Unkown viruses.

That's the reason the movie starts with the micro-organisms, and why the movie also ends with them and Jackson's little epilogue. [/spoiler][/color]

What an absolutly horrible movie. I knew there was a reason I didn't like Tom Cruise, he stars in bad movies..

It was actually kind of boring, it reminded me of Dream Catcher with that freakish red growth.
