Your (average/perfect) Saturday

[color=#333333]I was reading the thread "What do you do when you have nothing to do?", and it dawned on me that what all you guys did in your spare time interested me. But, what you do when you're bored can't be nearly as exciting as what you're doing otherwise.

So, I want to know what do you usually do on your average Saturday? I would also like to know what your [i]perfect[/i] Saturday would be. I'll start us off.

[b]My average Saturday...[/b]
I normally wake up between 11:00am and 2:00pm on a Saturday. I always do my homework on the Friday night and -if it's a lot- Sunday, so I usually have tons of free time. During the winter, I'll go out and shovel snow (raking leaves if it's the fall and mowing the lawn if it's the summer) after my shower and help clean up around the house. That never takes [i]too[/i] long, so after that and my daily work-out, I'll jump on the computer for a bit. Usually I spend about 4-5 hours on the computer when I have to get off because I have to get together with friends (wether they're spontaneous plans or... [i]planned[/i] plans is always different). I come home, go back on the computer (or occasionally watch TV) and play games/post and such until around 11:00pm. It's around 11:00 that I go upstairs, get changed, read for a bit and go to sleep (as I have Church the next morning).

[b]My [I]perfect[/I] Saturday...[/b]
I wake up around 8:00am, not tired because I went to bed early the night before since I had slim to none homework. I have a shower and low and behold, it did not snow and I don't have to rake leaves or mow the lawn! So, I go on the computer and do all that computer-like stuff until lunch. I have lunch, do my daily workout and go for a bikeride with my friends. After that, I go see a movie with my mates (and it turns out to be my favourite) and come home. I go back on the computer and relax for a bit, then go to bed really late, read my book and sleep.

[COLOR=#7B075B][b]My average Saturday[/b] will start at 9:30 am, GMT+8:00, when I'll wake up with an awfully bad headache from watching too much TV the previous night. Then I'll go downstairs where the old ice box is, poke/sniff/inspect things in there and then snack on a piece of white bread and chocolate (which is, btw, stored a room away from the fridge). I'll greet my family (up and chirpy that time of the day), go back to my room and lie down. Once the sugar kicks in, I'll suddenly remember that I was supposed to go to some meeting that started an hour ago. I'll decide not to go and instead try to remember what I've planned for Saturday night. I'll stay in that languid, sessile, polyp-ish stage until The Mummy calls me for lunch.

Then I'll clean the house for a bit then set my cute T-rex of a dog loose so that she and I can wreak havoc 'round the house. I'll *probably* take a bath after that and finish whatever it is them ghastly professors/editors want me to write/layout by 4pm. What happens after that pretty much depends on whether I'm gonna go out and party the night away or I'm gonna cut the rug in my room with Gloria Gaynor and The Village People instead.

[b]My perfect Saturday[/b] would be one where there will be no meetings to miss, no magazines to layout, no functions to attend and I'm able to make it to the 0630H breakfast with the family. Mmm hmm.

Oh yeah, and I'd like it if it rained the whole day.[/COLOR]

[size=1][font=georgia][b]My Average Saturday:[/b] I wake up at seven AM, and then lay in bed until eight watching The History Channel or listening to music. Then I empty the dishwasher, and then I play on my PS2 for a good hour, and then make myself breakfast (an egg with cheese usually). After that, I play on my PS2 again, and then play on my computer. Then I switch back and forth from PS2 and my computer, until about eight. Then I usually have pizza, sub, something quick, and then go back to the pattern and this lasts until probably twelve to two AM.

[b]My Perfect Saturday:[/b] Get up around nine. Then in bed, watching Law and Order while talking to my friend on the phone. Then I'd eat, sleep again, and just drift from then on until a good hour in the morning.

Average Saturday: Wake up, complain about everything. Run a lap, look at the pretty day. Do laundry, watch t.v., go online, talk to friends.

Perfect Saturday: Wake up at 9:00 am, run a lap, call my friends, go out and eat lunch, go to the beach, come back home, rent a movie, make popcorn, stay in with a couple of friends and family. (as you can see I value both friends and family) :catgirl:

[B][U]Average Saturday:[/U][/B] I wake up at about 10 am due to the fact that I was probably out with some friends doing whatever the night before. After I clean up, I usually play some DDR (5 miles as the Workout Mode puts it) or go right back to hanging out with my friends some more to go see a movie or go shopping or something. I guess it depends on what we feel like.

Sometimes, under the rare occasion that I stay home, I'm usually hanging out online.

[U][B]Perfect Saturday:[/B][/U] Mmm...

Wake up at about 11 am (need my sleep) and get ready for the day. Go hang out with my friends for only a little while, because around this time of year, I have one big priority. At about 4 pm, I'll come home and change clothes to go back out to Buffalo. Reason? Buffalo Bandits Lacrosse, the professional indoor game. Now for this Saturday to be perfect, they need to win too. But that isn't too hard.

In terms of weather...no snow...a person like me who travels a lot can't stand weather complications.

After that, we'll usually go to the after party and hang out for a while with the players, get a late dinner and come back home around midnight. (Although there was one time where I didn't get home until 5:30 in the morning.)

Average Saturday: wake up hella late, sit around on the computer till late night, complain about not having cable and missing adult swim for the past 4 months and write poetry until the wee hours.

PERFECT Saturday: First, this requires that I never slept Friday night. 1 AM to 7 AM would be all spent playing Phantasy Star Online with my two brothers. Then, I'd watch the Saturday morning cartoons till 12. At the exact second that One Piece goes off, my mom would take us to the mall to spend whatever money we have. After 2-3 hours at the mall, including lunch in the food court, we'd go home. I would then play one of my best games for 3-4 hours and actually make progress. The cable would magically start working again, and by some miracle I will automatically know everyhing that happened in every episode I missed of each show, or the season will have restarted. We'd also be having pizza for dinner. I will watch until 2 AM then come here and check out everything for about an hour. At 3 AM, I'd start writing poetry until 4, when it would be right back to PSO.

Get up late. Then shower and come back to my dorm room and surf the net for a while chatting here and there. Then play a couple of comp games and go to my bro's around 5 to watch anime on CN. Come home about 1 am and start all over. :catgirl:

[B]Normal saturday:[/B] Up at 6:30 (grenwitch meridian time), shower and get ready for work. off to work at 8. home at 6pm, then I collapse into bed and sleep untill monday.

[B]Perfect Saturday:[/B] Sleep untill 9 pm, then get up and sit in front of the computer untill 6 am sunday morning.

[b]Average Saturday[/b]: Sleep in until my dogs wake me up to go for walkies. See my hubby off to work. Mill about the house doing odds and ends like laundry, dusting and other cleaning chores until John comes home. We have lunch then continue milling about. Perhaps spend time online, playing games on the PS2 or watching anime.

[b]Perfect Saturday[/b]: Wake up early and head out for a day trip out of town with John. I love it when he doesn't have to work. Spend the day shopping for things like anime and eating at restaurants we don't have in our home town. After the long day shopping we head home to watch the new anime we just purchased.

Saturdays are pretty much pefect but when I get to hang out with John it makes them even more special. :catgirl:

[COLOR=Pink][B]Normal saturday:[/B] My normal Saturday would be awaken by my 8 yrs. old sister asking for her, "Moomoo" at 6 a.m in the morning. Then since she stays up, I hardly get any sleep, but still I try to stay in bed until 9 a.m (When everyone is up). After this dreadful morning ritual I get up make breakfast, give my sister her medication and clean. Once my chores are done I put in some quality time with good ole ps2 and watch a dvd or play a game. If I have school work I do that first (But since I have fridays off I usaully do all my work that day). Sometimes I stay all day home with the family or go out with my friends til 10 p.m. Sometimes I prefer staying in my dorm and reading my lovely books.

[B]Perfect Saturday: [/B] Wake up at 12 p.m, taking my sweet time to get up. Dinner (I prefer dinner than breakfast in the moring or junk food) readt for me to eat while watching tv,having no chores to do. A nice peaceful saturday afternoon, then in the evening go out with my friends and have fun with no worries in the world. Then once the night is at its end, pick up a good book to read and once I'm done...fall into a nice sleep and dream happy dreams.

[b]Average Saturday:[/b] Well on my average saturday i'm most likely at AF's house. Most of the time we don't even stay at the house, we galavant off with other friends, go to the movies, eat at mimmo's, attend parties, misbehaving, ect. We get in at the AM hours and then normally watch movies for the rest of the time. On my most recent saturday we watched Wedding Crashers (what a movie).

[b]Perfect Saturday:[/b] My perfect saturday would be exactly the same as my average saturday. I love my saturday's and i'd never change them.

[size=1][color=slategray][b]Normal Saturday:[/b] Wake up around nine to noon, depending on the night I had before. When I wake up, though, I don't actually... [i]get[/i] up, I sorta just lay there and ponder for about an hour. I'm either thinking about the dream I had or a new story/fan fiction idea.
When I finally do get out of bed, I realize I have a headache and go downstairs and knock down some Alieve and ice water. After that I eat something. Might be chocolate chip waffles, English muffins, ice cream... never cereal, though... gross.
Then I kind of wander around all day... like, I might write on my computer... or read a book... normally get a few good hours of gameplay on my computer (Morrowind and Age of Empires 3). On a nice day, I'll go for a walk down to the creek or something.
I eat some more. >>
Then, around seven, I go to a nearby TV and watch Teen Titans, Naruto, Full Metal Alchemist, Ghost in the Shell, and Cowboy Bebop. But, now, that'll change... seeing as Teen Titans is OVER. ;_;
But, yeah... mainly, I just lazy around the house. No one can really get me outside anymore. XD
Oh, yeah.... gourge myself with chocolate... that's another one.

[b]Perfect Saturday:[/b] Hmmm. Mainly what I already do. I just wish I didn't wake up with headaches and such. Wish I had more chocolate... and that our home "community" computer had internet again.

Otherwise, that's it. Not too exciting. Well. It is for me. Exciting enough anyway. You can't get much better living in Iowa. >>[/color][/size]

[font=Times]My Average Saturday - I'll get up at around 10:00 AM in the morning, hop in the shower; then get on the computer until 12:00 PM (sometimes I'll head out to the local shopping center for a bit). I then head off to work for a few hours, usually getting home around 5:00-7:00 depending on my work speed. When I return home, I'll rest on the couch and watch Cartoon Network for a bit, then play some video games. Then get on the comp for a bit; and watch Adultswim before going to bed.

My Perfect Saturday - No work. Then heading out of the city early in the morning to hang out with my fellow gamers and play for hours. Then when I get home, heading downtown with my friend for a few hours to lurk the streets, and be stupid.[/font]

my perfect saturday would be no F-ing saturday school (4 FCAT) and spending whole day jumpin from borders to avalon manga shop and to animehurricane. then topping it off with a dinner at my favorite restaurant Applebees!!! yea and i would also be nice to have sum cash to spend!!!! :animesmil

1:00pm go home, and be lazy! I don't do my homework until usually Sunday nights, because I procrastinate.
