I am glad that everyone hates bush because of they?re opinion not because it is the fad going around the state now. You would be surprised how many people hate him just because friends or family do. Personally I love bush a mater of fact I was fortunate to meet him at bank one ball park in phoenix Arizona[where I have lived my entire life]. Lets face the fact?s people bush is only human he is going to make mistakes, what president hasn?t. I support the war completely. Iraq use to be a place where people would be murder in fits of rage, slaughtered tortured and what not. I have seen this personally and it sends chills down my spine. To see something like that get totally eradicated in my opinion sends a warm feeling to my hart. The loses mite be big but the over all rewards will way over weigh the loses. ;)

Bush's approval rating, according to a recent poll, is 37%. It's beautiful, if you ask me. A nation finally waking up.

You're right -- everyone makes mistakes. It's the magnitude and gravity of those mistakes that matters most. If I cheat on a test, of course it's not as important as completely ignoring an urgent warning of the imminent destruction of New Orleans. I've also seen a few clever signs saying "Nobody died when Clinton lied," which is hilariously true.

I also think you're misconstruing the past Iraq. Yes, there was a great deal of torture, but it's not like people were being bombed in their sleep and slaughtered in a market place. There was actually religious toleration in Iraq before we came in. Now, the Sunnis and Shi'ites are back at one another's throats, and unwilling to compromise. They're fighting over representation and rights and reparations for past wrongs.

We also had zero business in Iraq. They apparently had Weapons of Mass Destruction. Does anyone remember that the only reason Bush went into Iraq was to find these WMDs? It was not to capture Saddam. It was not to give democracy to oppressed people. And all of the sudden, Bush tries to forget the original reason he went into Iraq, and acts like it was never the case.

I also have reason to suspect that we went into Iraq because the American people need a scapegoat for 9/11. We went "Where's Osama?" and the Bush Administration went "We have Hussein -- good enough, right?" The saddest thing is, people thought it was.

Furthermore, what the fsck was up with the Dubai port offer? Handing our east-coast port security over to a company in based in Dubai which we didn't investigate thoroughly? Port security is America's achilles heel -- only 5% of imports and inspected. Moreover, there's alot of terrorist money is flowing through the United Arab Emirates, so don't I have a reason to fear they'd toss a bomb on a barge and sail it into Manhattan, especially since there was no investigation?

I respect Bush for his education and his good intentions, but I do not like his policy in the least.

no way I like Bush. It angers me that people would even think about re-electing that man. He is the worse president he doesn't even respect the wishes of others and he lied to the nation about WMD. Bad qualities for any leader

So there?s no point in getting angry at people who want to re-elect him. It just isn?t possible.
I've also seen a few clever signs saying "Nobody died when Clinton lied," which is hilariously true.
I want one of those signs! lol!

I personally do not like Bush. And for the exact same reasons Retribution is posting about. He tends to conveniently change his agenda when it turns out that he was completely wrong. Like the WMD?s that were never found. It?s like he thinks we are to stupid to remember what he originally told us.

I for one will be glad when he is finally done, I just cringe to think of what idiot we will get next.

EDIT: Sara is right there are plenty of Americans who did not vote for Bush. I myself did not vote for Bush.
In my oppinion who's more of they idiot Bush or the people who re-elected him. Wow you Amarican's should think twice next time.
I am astonished at your idiot-determining skills.

I'm afraid I can't quite make out your oppinion, though. Who is more of an idiot? Bush or the people who re-elected him? You didn't say.

And I'm sure that the many people who did not vote for President Bush, including the many not-yet-eligible-to-vote members of this board, do not particularly appreciate being lumped into one idiotic group by someone who cannot spell "American" correctly.

See... this is one of the biggest misconceptions about the Iraq situation. Now, it was no paradise, in fact it was a ****-hole, but people weren't just walking around with guns shooting random citizens and car-bombing everything to hell. Saddam didn't just wake up, check his schedual, and go "Ok... wanton slaughter a 12... gas some Kurds at 4... nap at 5... slaughter the innocents at 6... jee, busy day! Might want to schedual in some uranium purchasing and WMD making to spread things out." Yes he did a lot of evil things, but a lot of those things were done to keep his country from doing exactly what Bush has done - turned it into a terrorist hotbed where extremeist bombers strike every day and men with guns prowl the streets and break into homes.

Who's the bigger monster?

Wow. One isolated incident. Islamic law is a bit... cruel (Although I believe that it's supposed to be the hand, not the head, correct?), but is shared throughout most of the area, in fact it is a lot worse in places like Iran, where the country is run religiously, rather than a secular nation like Iraq. Things were much better before the US got there. 'Give me liberty, or give me death' is a very romantic notion but not a practical one.

Will we ever even have a good president?
Not everyone will love any president we have. The government is too controversial. The government is flawed, no doubt about it, but
I admit I don't like a lot of the things Bush does.
But now just about all the media is either far to the republican or far to the democratic side.
I don't like either...I wish there was a president who'd just meet in the middle. But the chances of that happening are really little.
And about Iraq...
War isn't good in any circumstances. Leads to lots of killing...but that's not saying there isn't any positive side.
Even though you don't see this on the news, I know plenty of people serving in Iraq. And everyone that I've talked to is being thanked often by the Iraquis. So don't think that we're completely hated, the majority actually appreciate us.
And I have no clue how all this works...but according to my history teacher Iraq can tell us to leave whenever they want and we'd have to...i dunno. I don't pay much attention to that. So I have no clue if he's anywhere close to being right or whatever.
Hmm..the hurricanes, I think Blanco is more to blame. Setting aside a time for prayer was just stupid. A moment of silence? Great. It's respectful. But setting aside so much time for prayer..she should have been getting something done.
I live in South Louisiana..and I never really personally hated a politician...but I REALLY hate her. I knew before she was elected she'd be a horrible governor. And us being hit by the storms I think just kind of proved it. >_>
No, I didn't read through all of the pages.
No, I'm not very involved with politics. It all pisses me off really. And even though I'm neither for or against, I don't think Bush is that bad.

there goes a little story that a shaman cursed the presidents of the usa.
every president that is elected on a round number of a year like 1970, 1980, 1990, 2000 is cursed to do bad.

ofcourse it`s just a story but one that could explain why those presidents got killed soon or did stupid stuff.

so believe it or not it`s up to you.
