Dangit, Kisha, your thing covers up mine! That's what we get for living in the same town, I guess. No one can see there's a little DW playin' in Michigan ;^D
If for some strange and unbelievable reason anyone is looking for you DW, they can just click on your name on the member bar on the right ;)

And here I thought I was the only Canadian OBer.

I updated mine to the very street. It seems as though r2vq and I live not 20 minutes away from eachother. If we really wanted to, we could probably meet.

But then I would have to get my drivers liscense... Which I cannot get until November.

Haha. Yeah, there are a bunch of us. But there's always Anime Conventions. ;)

There was another OB'er (that doesn't post here anymore) who's from Toronto.
When we found out that we were close to each other we tried to meet, but things kept coming up. It was only two or three years later that we found out that she went to school two blocks away from where I live. 8)
This map would have saved us two years of dodging each other. xD

And no, it's not my exact location.... but it is my major intersection.
Edit: I fixed mine so it's pretty much my exact location. I'm just inviting the unwanted aren't I? hm..
I did that for another of my frappr groups, but I'm feeling a bit lazy right now.
I thought that if you editted it for one, it'll edit it for all your groups. Unless you have more than one Frappr account.

Now, I'm not going to say that you're all a bunch of perverted stalkers [because the truth hurts], but why would anybody actually give so much detail about their location that you could rock up on their doorstep, unannounced?

I don't even live in Perth, though I will by the end of the year. Currently I live a few hours south of it. But I wouldn't tell someone online [hell, anyone who I didn't know online] exactly where I live. Isn't this just a tiny bit cause for concern? You can't exactly control who looks at it, heh.

Hey, this thing's cool. I've never heard of it before now, but I added myself to the map. Sorry Baron, but looks like you're covered, seeing as I'm actually in Perth and have been for a long time.

And you're moving up here? Even we could meet ^_~ But yeah, meeting people you only know of from talking online is a bit of a worry and I doubt my parents would ever let me go meet someone I've never met before.

Now now, aren't you being a tad paranoid? ,:)

Even if you put the marker to point your house, all it would tell is that a person who uses a screenname of Baron Samedi lives there. ;P

It's not like anybody would break into your house or anything only based on that info. Doesn't almost any house have somebody living in it? What makes your house more special? (Unless it's some fancypants mansion or something...)

I know it's sensical to be weary when giving info about yourself in the net, but there's no need to overdo it... X)

We aren't that important people, us otakuites. ;P

But honestly, is someone really going to hurt you just because they know your address? There's plenty of people in my own city who know my address, even if I don't know them well. What makes people online suddenly more dangerous? Knocking on my door isn't going to hurt me. And I let in who I want. And I can tell you, even If I have issues with people online, I still have issues with people in real life, and none of THEM have bothered to stalk me, lol.

This is actually a pretty cool idea here. I just put mine up and I'm taking alook around. So few of us live anywhere near the Tarpon area or even the Tampa area. Where are all the sweaty Florida nerds, man. It's just me and Stark. Why are we alone down here.

Excellent. I can finally hunt you down, Baron Samedi. *cackles*

I kid!
Seriously though, I wouldn't mind if one of you guys showed up at my doorstep one day. I probably won't be home but at least you'd get to see my lovely, lovely door!

Ehrm... I've to commend whoever made this Frappr-thing. Them "Google" words written all over the satellite images are hardly noticeable (except over mainland China. probably 'cause they censor Google over there?)

I'm not paranoid, lol. I'm just saying that generally, you're not really encouraged to give an address to the degree of a street name online. I mean, that is pretty accurate.

And Amelia, you forgot to mention Amelia. =)

I was a little nervous about the marker pinpointing our location at first, but since it's not sc'reet address or real name, I'm sure I'll have no stalkers coming to find me. It's less revealing than myspace, at least. *shudder.*

You're not alone in Florida. My girlfriend lives in Tarpon Springs, and I spend the summers with her. I know, it's hot in the summer, but I've got college, and it's the only time I can spare. Hopefully I'll be able to drag her back to Michigan with me for the fall. At least you have alligators. She lives right on Lake Tarpon, so when we go down to the dock, we can see them there sometimes. It's a little scary, but we keep our distance. Oh, and the parks there are beautiful! There's this one with a freshwater spring that's at least 400 ft. deep (I think). Some divers went down in it and drowned, but it's nice to look at. It's fairly new, and there's this lookout that has a spectacular view of the water. Don't get too excited about snow. Carly was happy to see it for the first time, but I don't think it takes much more than that to scare Floridians away. You have to be a hardy Michigan Neanderthal like myself to withstand that.
If you think alligators are scary, you should see the real deal: crocodiles. They'll eat your puny alligators.

:p
Huh? Ever since I was a kid, I've always thought alligators were much larger cousins of crocodiles... :/ Well, maybe crocodiles are more ferocious, then. *tries to prevent his world from crashing*

But back to the topic, this Frappr thing has made me suddenly very interested about where people live. ;P Although you don't have to worry about me coming to knock on your door... My nearest Otakuite (Mimminx) lives nearly 1000 kms away. XP

Hmm... I was going to stick my pin on Buckingham Palace (and henceforth claim that I was the rightful King of England), but eventually realised that I have no idea where in London it is.

Oh well, guess I'll just settle with my actual home. Besides, I wouldn't want to be charged with high treason or what-not. :cross:

I posted my details and promptly raised the European members, UK members and the Welsh members by one each in one foul swoop! Bwa ha ha ha!

*Ahem* Anyway, it's a nice idea but my comp is having trouble with the map so I can't view it! *whines* I'll have to work at this one to get it going!

Damn me and my stupid state. >< I'm the only loser in Missouri and I put my location thingy up about two weeks ago. The nearest person to me is kuroinyoukai. Who lives in IOWA.

By the by, LadyKatana, if you read this. You live about two hours away from where I used to live. ^-^
