A metallic robot that was human shaped led the subject down a hallway. ?Please we have preserved your things the way they were. If you would change into proper attire before you are debriefed.? ?Alright.? Maiko walked into a room that lighted as soon as he came in. ?Hmm I miss light switches.? Maiko got dressed in the room that he left from when he was frozen. ?So if it is 2095 then I have been suspended for 75 years.? Azumi sat there after he was dressed staring off into the oddly familiar room. He looked fixedly at the locker marked under his name. A few photographs were all that were left in there. They?ve picked up quite a bit of dust but he didn?t care.
?If you would mind hurrying up sir the boss won?t wait much longer.?
?Yes I?m coming.? Maiko said as he gathered up the rest of his things.
?If you would please follow me again sir.? Maiko just started walking with the robot. He stared at the walls made of homely wood. Behind it there was a metallic barrier blocking him from the outside.
?I see that they at least kept this hallway intact.?
?Actually sir most of the rooms and hallways are decorated in old fashion. The boss likes it that way. The boss says it adds a bit of a reminder.?

?He sure does have a taste for art.? Maiko noticed there were no windows but there was a small breeze coming from a vent. ?Yep it still smells the way it used to.? Maiko looked around the desk a bit and found a few random papers. Most of them were just newspaper articles from 2015-2020. He walked around for a few more minutes before the door opened behind him. ?You must be th-? Maiko halted in mid sentence as a young red haired women entered the room in a grey executive suit.

?Yes I?ve based my research on events that happened in the past. In fact I?ve noticed the decreasing amount of abnormalities though.?
?Yes I know. I?ve skimmed over your later work. The reason for the suppressing amount of abnormalities is because of all our technology. It has explained things so much to people that events that we thought mystical and mythical are now false or computed into science. Unfortunately we made a slight error.?

?Have you ever wondered where everything malicious comes from Mr. Adzuki? Have you ever thought once in your life where does our hate for others come from or the willingness to compete by fighting or killing someone comes from.?

?Well looking into your research and combining that with time and even more things in the past we found disturbing results.?
?What has my research came up with.?
?A good thing we are still at weak phases here in Tokyo Mr. Adzuki but your research is more true than I can explain.?
?I thought so. But tell me what has happened to allow this change in thought throughout the world.?
?Well as you see maliciousness is what we thought an emotion from the brain. Actually that is just a trick put on by the real threat. While you were frozen Mr. Adzuki we found that of the real human soul. On first account we didn?t realize anything when our scientists were analyzing a body for the soul. Our volunteer happened to be somebody from the highest prison in America. Our cameras were knocked out from what happened but we still managed to see what happened for ten seconds.?
?Yes what happened!? Maiko said with glee in his eyes.
?Well while we were probing the man for his soul his eyes rolled into his head. Naturally we think it is a seizure but actually from our cameras there was a dark brewing in the chest of the man. You could describe what came out as a plasmatic creature but it ran through all the scientists as if it were a ghost. Their innards were either melted or gone.?
?So is that it? We are dealing with spirits that eat the insides of humans.?
?Yes that was what we thought ourselves. Instead we find that this one creature can cause enough trouble that now there are only about ten areas in the world left secure. After killing the scientists there was a world wide black out in 2050. Turns out this creature was involved. The moment we turned back on our power several gates to hell opened.?
?A real hell? What happened??
?Yes it was real. After 2052 we finally discovered them. We?ve only found seven of them but we know there are more. What emerged after we found the first one was a ghastly sight. Only one man survived long enough to tell us and collapsed and died after sharing us his story. It seems that there was a mass of different creatures like werewolves, zombies, vampires, more spirits, etc??
?I would have never believed that my research would have been proven true.?
?That isn?t the worst Mr. Adzuki. The creatures kept on pouring out and they have taken over almost the entire world. As I said there are only ten secure areas. These areas will be revealed to you at a later time. Now you must meet your colleagues. I bid you a due for now Mr. Adzuki. Take the stairs on your left and it will lead you to the conference room where the others are.? Maiko walked to the door while Reina was at the desk sorting things. ?Oh yes Mr. Adzuki there are some generals in the army of hellish creatures. We have not found out their names or their location but just be warned that they are tactical beings.?
?I?ll keep that in mind.? Maiko walked out and up the stairs.

This is where we will pick up our story. The setting is in the future where things have gone wrong. Most technology doesn?t work on these creatures that are pouring out but it seems old magic will work. The government is still trying to come up with more technology to defeat these creatures so you can upgrade your weapons. Now sign ups will be as follows:

Name: Maiko Adzuki

Age: 32 (frozen age 107)

Race: Human

Weapon: Specialized handguns to deal with zombies, vampires, and werewolves. Other equipment with him is a small dagger. The dagger is enchanted with old magic. Some of this magic will allow him speed and accuracy. His handguns are a dark silver metal that are also enchanted. They fire at a medium speed but when he wants to hit a target he will hit a target.

Abilities: Transport-An extremely fast motion used primarily with dagger. Unfortunately he can?t use a fast enough transport like blink.
Gunman-Extreme accuracy when needed. Only a few bullets can hold in this fast motion.

Personality: He is a pretty smooth guy. He rolls with his situations as though they were a mathematical problem. Although he spent his life studying the abnormal he still fears them in some ways. Most of the time he will act like he doesn?t care but he is a real team player. He spent most of his life before developing research for the government but was called nothing but an insane fool. Maiko believes in the abnormal and believes they can be a real threat. Even with a fear of the abnormal he is still determined to get rid of this outbreak. He used to specialize in the military before he became obsessed with his research.

History: When Maiko was little he didn?t really pay attention to much else but the sounds made when he is alone. Later in life he discovered the ways of science until he found a fatal flaw. You can still ask ?where does it come from?? After getting drafted by the government to be a military strategist he looked into more of this ?where does it come from?? theory. By the year 2015 he was already out of the military and heavily involved in the research still provided by the government. His research included cases of disgusting horror scenes that were never solved. Some of these included missing bodies with blood spewed all over. Missing innards was a common case. There was though only one major attack though. The victim was literally splattered all over the walls. It said very detailed that there was not a single part of the body recognized except for the eye. Thus Maiko looked into other reasons. Eventually the government thought of preserving him through suspended animation. There was only one reason why they did so in the year 2020. It is because a lot of his research made since. The government took his research and stole it for themselves. Thus began the government?s investigation in more technology. Maiko?s research made it possible to scan the human body for the soul. And this is what led to eventual chaos.
