Crisp, cool, Winnipeg Winter... which means a limb-tingling -33 with crispy snow and ice on the ground. Blue skies right now, but it's still nice and cold - just how I like it. This is why I came to the Peg. The sun reflecting off the vast expanses of snow hurts my eyes, though.

Generally miserable, cloudy and definitively British. Even more-so at this time of year. Occasionally we get a charmer of a day, like today which, though a little cold, had not a single cloud in the sky. Summers can be quite pleasant, though they can be quite the opposite aswell. Still, without the North Atlantic Current we'd be a darn sight colder, so I s'pose we should be happy with what we've got. :animesigh

I live in the wonderful hillbilly state of TN. Today it's about 55 degrees F. Yesterday it was 60 and Wednesday it was 35 F. It has rained a lot and the temp flunctuates constantly. Once in 1987 it snowed in May!!! We have some crazy weather down here!! :animesigh

Mild winters, Texan summers. Rain comes in large clumps. The storms here are usually loud but not too violent. There is a hurricane/tornado once in a blue moon but, thankfully, not enough to make everyone miserable.

Right now it's about 70 outside and cloudy. Pretty nice, actually.

Since I live in the Northern Rain Forests of Canada, as in British Columbia it rains almost all year round minus the two months of summer which it still rains in. Those months of summer though become very grueling hot. Otherwise it rains almost all year round.

Lovely with a tinge of distress, thank you.

It must be the melting ice from the northern latitudes. From last week's suffocating, humid weather, this week's theme must be a reprise of the conditions we had late December: insanely cold dawns and rainshowers (a full blown typhoon, last I heard). Really, it's causing so much stress on my feeble respiratory system that I get coughing fits every hour.

It's hot, it's muggy, it's only cold for like one month out of the year. Yeah, that about sums up Florida. Oh yeah, in the summer we get the huge super storms known as Hurricanes. What fun, I got to ride a jet ski through a STREET. YOu ever seen a tree ripped out of the ground and thrown through the side of a house? I have, I was in a house when a tree landed in the room I was IN.

I'm getting the hell out of here. The beaches aren't worth it. I'll move up north and further west, less humidity in the west. Maybe I'll head to oregon or washington. Not California, there are still Hurricanes there.

Actually, California doesn't get hurricanes at all. It has to do with the fact that hurricanes spin either clockwise or counter-clockwise (I forget which way) in the Northern Hemisphere. Because our ocean is on a different side (West), and there's nothing but more land to the East (Nevada & Arizona), we don't get hurricanes.

We get Earthquakes. Stupid Ring of Fire and San Andreas Fault.

Anyway, I'm currently experiencing a California winter (yay!)... in Northern California, not too far from San Francisco (boo!). That means our weather is in a state of flux like you wouldn't believe. Sunny, partly cloudy, cloudy and grey as hell, light rain, sunny, heavy rain. That's pretty much the average week around here, and you still have to wear a jacket outside on the sunny days.

The weather also has a habit of changing throughout the day. Every morning starts out either rainy or foggy. After that, it's a coin toss. We'll get everything except snow. Yes, even hail (rarely). The weather here isn't tragic or joyful. It's just depressing.

England only has two types of weather: crap and crapper. The latter being the current weather. But that's only in the winter. Seriously though, I can sometimes take the cold, but what's worse is the whole "miserable" vibe that it often gives out.

The summer can be pretty tasteful though. It doesn't get very hot, but it's hot enough, which suits me fine.

Eh, in Washington (D.C.), the weather swings alot. I'm located in the middle of the country as far as longitude goes, so I get scalding summers and frigid winters, but as of late, the winter's been pretty weak.

I really hate the cold, and I love the heat, so the climate is alright. I just wish it'd snow a bit more, so that we'd get a few days off.

Yeah. Cold weather is pointless unless it brings snow with it, but then again, it's hard to hope for snow when it's warm...

Hey, the cold is awesome.

Anyway, it hit -39 here today. That's not even close to a record but still cold enough to warrent a coat and a toque. Nice and grey and icy aswell. I love this place!

Interesting, most interesting.

It's weird but in the last few years the weather in Ireland has been getting progressively harder to predict. It's February now, which basically should mean a fair bit of rain and the odd cold spell, but generally we've had what I might describe as mildly pleasant weather, and I can't remember the last time we had rain. Hopefully that'll mean we'll get the same great summers we?ve been getting the last few years, but a great Irish summer is generally just a week or two of cloudless days with a gentle breeze and heat in the mid 20s, Celsius of course, perfect barbeque weather. well from what I can see you in the experience about the same whether because I live in Seattle and it rains about ten months out of the year here . :animeangr Rain can be so frustrating , I mean to give you an idea if you haven't been watching the news we just recently had 27 days of street rain . Sometimes I swear all it does here is rain . But finely in July and August things usually dry out and we can enjoy the fun and the sun :animesmill.undefinedundefinedundefined

40 Celcius would be 104 Fahrenheit. Meh, I like heat.

I like heat, and I can't stand the cold.

Lately, here in Ohio our weather has been crazy. We've gotten snow one day with the temp around 30 F, then the next day it warms up to 45ish and all the snow melts, then drops again. January is suppose to be our snowiest, and coldest month. I saw on the local news last night that we should have had about eighteen inches of snow so far, but we've only had four inches.

I'm hoping that spring and summer arn't as crazy. Less humidity would be good, but good swimming weather.

I'm tired of winter already and we didn't even get much snow, or our average amount of cold. I'd like to move back to Arizona. :animesigh

Where I live, in southwestern Ontario Canada, we pretty much experience all four "traditional" seasons. Winter can get really cold. And my house has horrible insulation so our floors feel like ice when we wake up in the morning.

Summers are hot and really humid.

Anyway, this year, the snow is melting pretty early. It's only January. We usually have snow till the end of march, even early april! The temperature keeps going up and down. We get rain, the snow melts (except for those huge hills the snow plows make), anbd the ground gets all muddy and icky, the next day is sunny, and the water evaporates, the next day, it's colder again and it snows again.

Today is a really icky day. There so much trash under the the snow, and lots of dirt being eroded off the grass. It's one depressing day. I think the clouds are clearing up though.

The weather here for today is rather dreary; thick, low-hanging clouds that seem to suffocate the world and incessant rain. It's actually a nice change from the usual blistering sun and distinct heat that drives a native northerner like me insane.

Hey, it's Florida. What do you expect?

Hurricanes I will not complain about. Again, it's the cloud cover that I love. Bright days are hard on me, especially when driving. I am literally blinded on those days, and it's no fun. Besides, I'd rather have hurricanes than fires. Easier to manage, easier to clean up.

Temperature wise, it's pretty decent for the most part. It's only the summer I complain about. In the spring and fall it remains about 70 degrees, give or take. Perfect picnic weather, if you ask me.

But I miss seasons. The colors, the bringing out of the heavy winter clothes, it makes everything else in live seem perfectly normal. Here, in the Land of No Seasons, you don't get that.

Oregon has despicable weather and has been at it for nearly two weeks maybe even the entire month. It's been pouring rain and more rain with the rare sunlight which would turn back to pouring rain and not to mention it being windy as ever. It nearly blew off fences and whatnot! They also say that we might get snow if the weather keeps up and that our highest for today, being 1/30/06, was about 50 degrees fahrenheit and it would only get colder. But then again, this is Oregon and Oregon has extremely crappy weather, not to mention it being an extremely boring state.

I just wish that the weather would change. I love the rain, no doubt, but experiencing it for nearly sixteen years is aggravatingly annoying and if the Oregon's weather was a person, I wish I could wring it's neck. But like I said, what can you do? It's Oregon and Oregon has crappy weather.

Interesting, most interesting.

We are int he middle of our summer right now, and it's a scorching 89 degrees! (Incredible number that aye, thought I'd convert our celsius temperature to the Fahrenheit one for the majority of our American audiences :D)

I love summer, it's just a nice time of the year and as a plus, I get to go swimming more often, and get a suntan. My favourite rock concert, Parachute, is also held in the Summer time. Summer like, totally pwnzorz Winter.

Right now, I hate it!

I live just outside of Toronto in Canada.

Let's see... Here there's four seasons, but I guess this ones ending a bit early. So far this winter, one day felt like spring, so I didn't even need to wear a jacket, but then the next day was freezing and raining.

Where did all the snow go? I remember back in the day, there used to be snow in January, but all thanks to global warming, the weather just sucks.

The weather where I am now Is miserable. I live in a City called cambridge, the temperature is -3 degrees celcius not counting the WCF (wind chill factor) There is a strong wind blowing in from the northeast (which is really cold, by the way) and it is hammering it down with rain. the sun is nowhere to bee seen as the sky is as overcast as a bad movie.

MOral of the story: don't come to england.
