Dragon Warrior
I'm not in the best of moods at the moment and photography tends to make me feel better. So when I saw my cat standing on my drawing table looking out my window, I took advantage. She modeled perfectly for several shots, but I only kept four. I then noticed the winter wonderland outside, so I took a shot outside of a barrel near my house. Then I took some from out my bedroom window. It did make me feel better. I like these. NOTE: Some images were desaturated in Photoshop (meaning they were turned black and white 'cause they look better that way). Sandy
You have a beautiful cat. <3 And the picture with the piece of sky is absolutely gorgeous! These photos really bring out the mood you say you're in. Hope they made you feel better. ;D Oh, and the landscape reminds Finnish countryside very much. It's makes the photos feel closer to me, even though I'm not a big fan of the countryside.
Dragon Warrior
Heh, I didn't think Finland was like the country of Michigan, USA. Around here it's dull landscape with a few scattered barns here and there. You've gotta make due, especially if you're a photographer. And yes, Brynn is quite wonderful :^D
Retribution
[img']http://img508.imageshack.us/img508/6461/brynnbw1fr.jpg[/img]
Do you have the original photograph still? I'd recommend, if you do still have it, that you loosen up the crop so that you get a bit more of the kitty's head. It's my favorite shot of the cat, but it feels really cramped. And yes, your picture of the sky is pretty awesome. I'd recommending giving it cool colors (a very faint blue, perhaps) so that it doesn't look as boring, though.
Dragon Warrior
I never cropped the cat picture. That's the way it was taken. I was kind of messing around when I took it and not really looking at it while I was taking the pictures. It just turned out better than I thought it would. But I understand what you mean. Senko
this is photography! thank you finally someone has put some artistic photography on this site!! you have made me happy thank you. By the way nice photography. the cat shows emotions to me of great thought even though it is probably just looking at a bird outside. (no disrespect intended :catgirl: )

Whileit's great that you think it's "nice photography," what about it makes it nice? Is there any room for improvement? These are questions you should ask yourself while critiquing anyone's work.
