Venge
Since this mainly has to do with music, I decided to put it here. If needed to be moved, do so... Now onto the topic. Music has become a mainstream thing in todays society. Its included in movies, TV shows, video games, and on radios, as in the past. But, music is also going elsewhere...artwork. When someone has a sudden urge to draw and music is on, they draw something related to that song most of the time. Take 'Ten Thousand Fists' by Disturbed. The song is about rebellion, mainly. So, thus, subconsiensly, we think about rebellion, thus produce a piece of art that represents rebellion (maybe a DBZ pic of Bardock rebelling against Frieza). What I want to know is, WHY does music effect us like so? Please help.
Retribution
It's just how the brain works. If you keep hearing something you will consciously and subconsciously absorb the message. You might not agree with the message, but it's in your mind nonetheless, and sometimes you notice the message being engrained in your mind. So when you draw and you're annoyed, that's just your subconscious (or conscious, depending) manifesting itself.
John
Yeah, the human mind is very susceptible to suggestion. Our opinions and moods are formed by whatever our minds pick up in our environment, so it's only natural that you're going to get a different result when you change a part of that environment.
