The calm lands seemed peaceful to Gabriel. The wind gently brushing his hair as he made his way to a item store near the edge. Junk was scattered all over the place as he made his way to the tent. He could tell that the owner was Al Bhed by the way he was talking to the last customer. He made a giant grinned as Gabriel stopped in front of the counter.

[B]"What will it be?" [/B] he said, he said very clear, yet with just alittle bit of an accent. Gabriel pulled out his old iron sword from his belt and placed it on the counter.

[B]"I'm selling this and I want to purchase a new one." [/B] The owner nodded, taking the sword back into his tent. Gabriel turned around and looked at the Calm Lands. He had never been this far from Mount Gagazet before, but this was his new fresh start. The clerk made his way back, scratching his immature beard.

[B] "Alrigh', I can give ya this golden sword here, cause this is all I have." [/B] He pointed to a sword near the counter. Indeed, it was golden.

[B]"What's it called?" [/B] Gabriel asked as he grabbed the sword and examined it.

[B]"I call it the 'Golden Sword!" [/B] Gabriel gave him a funny look.

[B]"Alright, It feels good enough." [/B] As he paid the owner, the Al bhed's curiosity jumped out.

[B] "So, going somewhere that's dangerous? Then again, there's damn monsters every corner." [/B] Gabriel equiped his new sword as he began to walk away. He stopped halfway and smiled back.

[B]"Just a sword for hire."[/B] He turned away and began his journey out of the calm Lands and find a Summoner that will defeat Sin.

Yuna and her friends destroyed Sin and giving Spira the 'Eternal Calm'. But, what if they didn't? What if Yuna sacrificed her life like the high summoners before her and leaving the another summoner to do the same for the next thousands of years? There was never a boy named Tidus. Leaving a temporary calm, but for Sin to return again. I would like to start a RPG of the same weapons, places, and magic, but with different kind of storyline and a brand new cast of characters. I would like this thing to last for awhile, so I need dedication on people who sign up for this. I'm no summoner type, so for anything to start, I need someone to sign up as a summoner. Of course, I need the rest to be guardians. I hope this RPG will be a big hit. One important thing, I do not accept poor sign-ups. Make them good.

[B]Name[/B]: Damian "Dam" Ronton

He has the mark of the oroborus, the tattoo on his left shoulder. This is an occultic mark, that is frowned upon in spira. On his right shoulder is it's counter part, the crimson cross.

[B]Weapon[/B]: A twin pair of swords. The one in his left with the guard is called Gail and the one in his right is called Torrent. Gail releases bursts of wind and Torrent releases charges of lightining.

[B]Techniques[/B]: His two marks grant him the elemental status of the wind, this gives him greater speed and agility in combat. In the heat of combat the two marks glow, the oroborus glowing black and the crimson cross glowing red. He has such abilities as power and mental break. He also has limited wind and lighining magic abilities.

[B]Overdrive[/B]: Gail storm. It is a summoning of great wind and lightining. It forms into a huge storm like swirl, drawing all enemies around him into it.

[B]Bio[/B]: Demian was born in Kilika. He was raised on the forest life, he learned to fight the fiends that lived in it early on. He took up the dark cult of oroborus worshipers. This was a despised group because they weren't followers of Yeven. His parents were taken by Sin many years ago, this left him with only the cult his parents had given rise to. He took on the task of converting many others to his ways and the group is now 600 followers strong and converting all the time.

When he turned twenty he decided to leave the safety of his homeland of Kilika, and go to see some of the great and fantastic things he had heard of from other travelers. He set sail to Luca and became an avid blitzball fan. He went from there to the Mi' hen High road. He tood to the road for a few years, working as a chocobo rancher til he was 23.

He then left here and took to the frigid peaks of Mount Gagazet. He built an inn at the mountains peak for the those on there pilgrimage. Few ever even make it as far as his inn, but those who do rarely stay, not wanting to associate with his type, i.e. oroborus patriarch. He frequents the calm lands, always looking for new challenges.

Name: Caskal Demer

Appearance: Caskal has a medium build but is tall, around 6"3'. He seems both commanding and understanding both at the same time. His up bringing gave him a look of intelegance. (pic attached)

Weapon: Dragon's Tear An ornate staff of silver, engraved all along its length, the end it has been shaped into the likeness of Buhamets head. Grants Immune to Fire and Hast

Techniques/Magic: Caskal is highly trained with the staff, his blows are devestatingly placed. He also can cast Cure and Haste, and he can summon Buhamet.

Overdrive: Caskal has the choice either to A: Summon an Aeon with full overdrive or he can B: preform Angelic Armageddon, in which he sprouts angel wings, hovers above the ground and fires a beam of pure energy at his opponents. (Similar to Buhamets Overdrive replace fire look with pure energy and replace Buhamet with Caskal)

Bio: Caskal was born in Bevelle and raised to be a summoner. He never truly liked the public light but he learned to live with it as sort of a bad side effect for trying to save the world. Caskal learned staff combat from the priests at the temple and was good from an early age.

When he went into the temple to attempt to summon Buhamet the priests gave him his staff, Dragon's Tear. He went into the temple with his father at his side. He nearly failed the tests in the temple but in the end he came out alive with the ability to summon Buhamet. His father was very proud of his son, but did not decide to guard his son on his journey. Caskal tried to get the reasons out of his father but could not and so he left for Luca to begin his quest.

[b]Overdrives[/b]: It depends on the spell she uses but most of the time it is fire or water related. So she uses [b]InfernoBlast[/b] which is a massive fire attack that hits all enemies in a decent range. She prefers this one over all the others. (PM ME if somethings wrong here)[/size]

[b]Biography/Writing Sample: [/b]She grew up in and around the Mihen Highroad. Going from the shop on the road to Luca and back was something she did often. Eventually her mother died of a sickness and she was pretty much alone except for her father who didnt have much time for her. She met this shady old lady on the road one day...[/size]

[size=2]Airo looked at the old lady and nodded, "Daddy keeps me up at night sometimes with his infernal racket, Whatever it is he does with those machina he does it loudly."[/size]

[size=2]"Ah yes. Well take it easy, Healthy youth have been rare around these parts."[/size]

[size=2]Airo wasnt to fond of stranges and went on her way. Later on though she was returning from Luca when she was attacked by some Fiends. When she thought she was dinner a bolt of lightning stuck the fiends and quickly they evaporated into pyreflyes.[/size]

[size=2]"Ye Must be careful on the highroad. The Fiends are always around, Preying on the weak." The old lady said appearing from the shadows of a chunk of ruined city.[/size]

[size=2]"Thank you. What was it that you did to them?"[/size]

[size=2]"Havnt you seen Magic my dear?"[/size]

[size=2]Airo nodded, "Not like that."[/size]

[size=2]"Well yes I suppose you are right. With my age I have perfected most spells so not many out there are as good as myself."[/size]

[size=2]Airo thought about this for a short moment and smiled, "Can you teach me? To use spells, black magic, like you do?"[/size]

[size=2]The old lady smiled, "Ah yes I can my child. Meet me here around sunset and I will show you what you need to know."[/size]

[size=2]Well after that time went by and she snuck out each sunset to learn more about magic and controling it. Eventually she was quite good with the basics. Her father died in a Fiend attack one night when she turned 20 and on that same night the old lady vanished as well. She has been working on spells on her own now using books and any kind of info she can dig up. She hopes to be very good one day.[/size]

The Skirt and Shirt colors are RED instead of blue and yes her eyes are red. (Remember Paine? Yeah I like the color red so Im keeping that.)[/size]

Juylan was originally right handed, but badly injured his right arm back in his Blitzball-wanabee days. Now he rarely moves it from its 'resting place' on the Spectra's scabbard.
Also, his sword is used as a forehand weapon, not back-hand. I just did it like that for the sake of it. : P

[B]Weapon:[/B] [B]Viper Spectra[/B], a single-handed sword of very basic appearance. The blade is thin yet relatively strong, excellent for stabbing whilst holding its own as a slashing weapon, and has supposedly been treated with a number of toxins. As such, it may poison and weaken an opponent from time to time. [I](Basically, a sword with Piercing and Poisontouch abilities)[/I]

[B]Techniques:[/B] Juylan generally uses the Viper Spectra to strike the enemy with status attacks - ie. [B]Dark Attack[/B], [B]Silence Attack[/B] and [B]Sleep Attack[/B]. He is also fairly competent with the [B]Delay Attack[/B] technique, but has yet to master the more advanced Buster techniques.

Overdrives:[/B] [B]Deadweight[/B] - One of the rare occasions in which Juylan uses his right arm. Lunges at his target, striking it several times, finishing with a powerful downwards thrusting attack. May not be as deadly as other Overdrives, but inflicts a number of status effects and Armour Break status.

[B]Biography/Writing Sample:[/B] Juylan lost all feeling in his body as the lightning bolt struck him, his left shoulder blackened by the heat. Falling to his knees, he winced as another struck the charred ground a few meters away from him, practically blinding him. Instinctively, he reached out with his right arm to help lift himself to his feet, stifling a scream as he shifted his weight on to it.

Struggling to keep his balance he turned to face his homeland, Gaudosalam, than spat at the ground before it before turning away again. He grasped his right arm tightly, ignoring the pain that it brought forth, scowling. "It's not like I needed you anyway... I should've left long ago..."

...But he hadn't, he'd kept holding onto his naive dreams, and all they'd given him was pain. His dreams had cost him everything, and now he needed something new. He sighed, propping his injured arm back on his scabbard, and continued his feeble march to 'freedom'. He'd show them that he didn't need his old dreams anymore, nor his old friends. He'd show them alright.

All he needed was to get through to the Calm Lands, then he'd be free. He could hunt fiends, he could train his own Chocobo. He could do whatever the hell he wanted to.

"Heh... I bet I could even become a guardian if I wanted to... that'd do it for sure..."

Smiling for the first time since sneaking out of Guadosalam, he threw his head back and laughed. Laughed like a man, like a guardian - like a hero, even. They'd probably laugh at him if they saw him, but he'd just laugh on back. He could do anything, everything he wanted.

"Hahahah! All hail Juylan! Prodigy of Guadosalam! Saviour of Spira! Slayer of the dreaded Si-"

At that point, Spira seemed to have had enough of him, and with another bolt of lightning, silenced him.
