Dan L
The other day one of my friends got this letter in the mail from co-op. any brits on here will probably know what i mean by co-op, anyone else probably wont. Anyway it was from co-op's funeral services section, which already had my friend a bit on edge.... then he saw the special offer at the top, it said 'Family Fun Day - Book now, save £50'.... has anyone else ever had any truly rediculous mail? NorykoAngelcry
LOL, my father is the 'Spam Eliminator' - If anyone gets mail and don't want it, he is there to get rid of them for us. He will call up the company, and request that we are removed from the mailing list. It is pretty awesome sometimes listening to him on the phone ^_^ One of the things I think he enjoys doing. AS for me though, I don't really think that I get too much mail that is junk. Everything I get is mostly from the army or from credit card companies (both go right into the trash can ^_^) I don't even bother opening them. Other then that, all the mail I get is either requested by me, or it is the unusual letter from a friend or something like that. woody
Unsual mail, some company send me a refund check. It turn out that, the check isn't for me, it's for someone else who happen to have the same name and lived in the state with me. I kept the check anyway. Guest Akito
Well, I can beat that freaky stuff! This happened before I came here, try pissing off a board full of ppl who think CN is the only place that shows anime! Next day, i had an Inbox full of porn site sign ups! That was the last time I ever let out my private email, I have many email addies, i use them for games and what not, but one account is my main one, and I'm never giving it away again! I know it was those losers, but there were like over 1000 members on the board, and i was only signed up for 100 porn sites. I'm still getting porn crap in the mail... liamc2
Hmmm, well I'll tell you something weird. Ages ago we bought a block and built our house, anyhow a week later we got a letter addressed to someone that wasn't us, so we called the post office and asked what we should do with it. well the guy at the office ses to just return to sender, but there wasn't any address on the back so we told him that. He then asked for our address and the name on the envelope, he looked it up and said 'I know whats wrong, this guy didn't have his mail transferred to his new address when he moved out of the address.' The big thing here is that where we lived was a housing estate, newly opened a month before when a farmer sold the block.

One of my friends (and i still dont know which one) once signed me up to 'Harris poll survey'. they keep sending me emails with surveys about stuff i really dont care about, i tried sending abusive mail back but it didnt work. solution- it was only a yahoo adress so i dumped it and got a new one. And every month the amount more then doubles. I guess they just don't have the money right now so they keep promising more. I wonder if they will ever pay me....hmm my power just went off...:help: By the way, just for the record, I like hot lesbians too.
