Imp
Welcome to the Neopets RPG! I'm so glad people signed up! Of course, the signups are still open--see the thread in the Adventure Inn. However, signups will close when there are 10 people in the RPG. If you are lost as far as the story goes (especially if you're a late signup or if you went away for a while), feel free to PM me--I can briefly tell you what happened so far without you having to read ten posts for an hour. Anyways, the people in this RPG are: Nefertimon (me)--playing Gamma the Robot Acara Frankie--playing Airobeth the Halloween Uni Blooming--playing Bloom the Pink Xweetok Neuvoxraiha--playing Kaiyasolia the Mutant Kougra And hopefully more coming soon... ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Gamma was sitting on a Kreludor rock, looking down at Neopia and fixing her gaxe on Faerieland. A part of her did miss Nelly, her owner--though Nelly had been a very unlucky girl, she had at least tried to help Gamma out of her troubles. I shall think of her whenever I visit Faerieland... but I hope I never have to go there again... Gamma thought. All those evil... faeries? Wait a minute... Sisturnia just told me that the faeries are gone! Well, that is a relief, but... Not a soul was around in the rocky nothingness--Gamma was sitting quite a distance from the single Kreludorian town. Occasionally, though, traces of noises emanated from the town and rang through the thin but clear atmosphere, sounding crisply in Gamma's metal ears. A moment later, a large spaceship came soaring far over her head and started its travel to Neopia. Apparently it was carrying people and pets who had just spent a wonderful day visiting Neopia's moon. Gamma wished she had something to do just like those folk, to get her out her loneliness. "Do something, then," rang a mysterious voice through the air. It seemed to be coming from the stars as Gamma could tell by its tone, but it sounded so close and warming as well. "Do what?" Gamma answered back, sounding hopeful. "Visit the town. Have fun and celebrate now that your terrible illness is gone." Gamma just fretted at these words. "Don't you get it?" the voice continued. "You're cured now! The evil faeries are gone! Have some fun for once!" "Who are you?" was the only reaction from Gamma. "Remember, you create your own world," said the voice, ignoring Gamma's question. "Do you really want a miserable life?" Gamma said nothing, and after a while neither did the voice--it seemed to have gone with the wind, if there was any. A part of Gamma wanted her to talk to the voice some more. "Well, I guess I can be thankful for those things," Gamma said to herself, referring to the sickness and the faeries being gone. "But what else? Now what do I do? I'm a helpless robot, and I have no clue what to do now that Nelly's gone..." Gamma sighed, and she thought she leard a laugh behind her that seemed to come from the voice. But this she ignored pretty quickly as she started to walk, almost automatically, towards the town. After all, it was better than being bored... ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ OOC: OK, for now you can just do an introduction post... but since there are not very many people in this RPG, we'll jump to Sisturnia and the start of the quest pretty quickly. By the way, Sisturnia lives in a separate realm that is accessible from any world via a portal which only the chosen Neopets (you) can see. At some point you'll need to go there--then we can REALLY start this thing.
Frankie
Airobeth sat below a tree in the darkness. The dark green dead looking fround was lit up by her flaming hooves and all life that would have been there (such as dead sticks and grass) were all now black dust. The wind picked up and the dust flew away. Airo watched quietly as the moon moved across the sky. She had a lousy life from the get go but now she felt more comfortable. After all where else could such an ugly uni feel at home than the cold dark Haunted Woods. She yawned and leaned her head down closer to the ground letting her black mane fall over her eyes. The haunting sounds were not what she was used to but it would have to do. After all she didnt fit in where she USED to live. The islanders all made fun of how she looked. All told her that a rotting bandaged uni like herself did not fit in to the islanders feel and personality. It was all her owners fault. Living there and buying a Halloween Paint Brush. "Why couldnt she paint me Island or leave me green..." Airo said to herself. She looked up at the star filled sky again and blinked. Her deep red eyes had a small light in them. Fire of determination to have a better life and to steer clear of humans as much as possible. After all it was her humans who caused her pain... the first one, the pound, and then the mental and emotional troubles caused by the islanders. She felt the wind blow from behind and she nodded. She stood up and shook all the dirt off, using her tail to get the dirt off her legs and rear. She spread her wings and flapped. Even though they had portions of flesh missing, were bandages, and bones showing she was still able to fly. She didnt question it... never did. She thought to question it would drain the very magic out of it so she just whinnied and flew towards the deserted fairgrounds. ----------- ooc: Hope this is ok for a starter... I go home this coming monday (the one that comes AFTER the3rd... lol. ANYWAY then ill be able to sit comfortable and think of better posts... Raiha
Kaiyasolia swished her banded tail several times, stirring up dust as she did. There was a monsterous WereLupe staring her down, and she wanted to ensure he did no more than that. The dust became thick and choking and then, she attacked. In a flurry of bared mutated claws, the lady Kougra attacked, paws splayed wide open, the Lupe looking up just in time to get a face full. He fell on his back while she pumelled, bit, slashed, and subsequently beat the stuffing out of him. In seconds, he fell back, limping, whimpering, and nearly reverting to a normal Lupe again. She roared in victory and marked the ground where he had fallen with her claws, scratching a wide swath. "Mine!" She reared on her hind legs and arched her back. "All mine!" Thus satisfied, she trotted off into the forest, smelling the fruit and dancing Hasee's as she went. Her petpet, a charming little Mazzew named Maureen, followed closely behind, Maureen's mootix riding on her back. She smiled happily, showing all of her fangs as she did. Raiha would've been proud if she'd been there.

Imp
OOC: Um, Blooming... you might want to lengthen your posts, and make sure you post only once. Seeing a shadow really isn't much--you might want to describe what else happens (just be sure not to control other characters). Also, since everyone pretty much did their intro posts, I think it's time that we get things moving rather soon. In other words, look at the bottom of the first post to see how to get to Sisturnia's lair--we shall meet there very soon. IC: ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The stars seemed dimmer because of all the lights in the town on Kreludor, and the noise level was certainly higher there than out in the boondocks where Gamma would have stayed had she not heard the strange voice. Gamma walked around, occasionally glancing at what everyone was doing or looking up at the sky. An occasional spaceship zoomed above the town, and more than ninety percent of the others were talking, most rather excitedly. Gamma really felt left out at this--here she was, a depressed robot, looking for the meaning in her withered life. As she walked, she looked for something to do. "Hey hey," called a voice to the right, past a small crowd. It was a tall man that looked half-Aisha and was holding a piece of black cheese. "See here, today's special at the Cheezeria! Many rumors stated that the moon was made of cheese, and I at the Cheezeria have developed a scrumptious sample devised from Kreludorian dust itself! Come, get samples while they're free!" "That cheese guy's a bozo," said a nearby Kyrii to her friends. "I think the map people are too ashamed of the Cheese Wiz to list one of his places on the map..." "I don't blame him," another Kyrii laughed, and the rest of the group snickered. I don't know if I'd be able to eat anything as I am now anyways... Gamma thought as she walked on. Luckily, everyone was too occupied with teasing the cheese guy to make fun of her. The next thing Gamma came to was a sign. "Sale, 20% off all Booktastic Books!" it said in large print. The smaller print at the bottom read, "Booktastic Books--the smarter way to read!" Relieved to come across a stop that didn't involve food, Gamma became curious and walked into the bookstore. "Cheese Wiz: A Bizarre Passion" was the first title that caught Gamma's eye. Apparently, this Aisha-like guy was infamously popular. But as usual, the thought of food depressed her, so she kept looking... "Mystical Wonders of Faerieland," read another title. But as the thought of Faerieland reminded her of Nelly, she immediately put the book back and continued looking. "100 Petpets" was a book worth scanning through. The first page she came to talked about the Spardel, a doglike petpet that was loyal yet not very smart. She flipped through a few more pages: "The Floud, a gentle and cuddly pet that dwells in the clouds," she read. She also noticed big red print at the bottom of the page: "Warning, never feed it carrots." Again, food thoughts depressed her, so... "Baby Fireball, a pet that can be playful but tends to burn things it touches..." Too bad, I heard metal is very sensitive to fire. "Snorkle, a pet that's cute and lovable but eats like a pig..." Nope. "Deedler, a robotic pet that has built-in games so you won't get bored..." Wow, that sounds promising, but I wonder if it'd beep too much... "Leeble, a tropical fishlike pet that loves to sing." Great, more noise. After a few more pages, Gamma muttered to herself, "Forget it. Besides, I already have a petpet..." Speaking of which, where is Kitepuka? I haven't seen her since Nelly left... I hope she's not gone too... While thinking about her missing Feepit, she put the book down and continued searching. Scanning through the books, one book took Gamma by surprise. "The World of Robotic Pets," the title read. Since Gamma herself was a robotic pet, she became fascinated and opened the book. "Robotic pets originated in the Virtupets space station," Gamma read. Then how in the world did I end up on Kreludor instead? I don't remember anything about the space station... "But, many more were thought to exist on Kreludor--one hypothesis stated that there existed a mysterious force somewhere in space--perhaps Kreludor--that could change ordinary pets into robots." That could explain it... but that would mean that that force is somewhere nearby... and I didn't notice anything strage about that place where I woke up. "However, robotic pets (and especially petpets) played a much more influential role in the Space Station's economy and well-being. For example, one place in the..." The page ended, so Gamma had to turn the page to keep reading. But as soon as she did so, she noticed a piece of paper folded inside the book. She thought this rather suspicious as this was a bookstore, not a library... so it couldn't be notes that someone wrote about the book. Normally, Gamma wasn't that curious, but a force in her mind, a turn of fate, compelled her to take a look... "Dear Gamma," Gamma read. Wait a minute! This is a letter to me?!? What's this doing in a book? How did it get here? How did anyone know that I would walk into the bookstore and pick up this book and turn to this page? Gamma had no choice but to read on. "I know you've probably heard about this, but the faeries have been disappearing from Neopia, both good and evil. Nobody knows the identity of the scourge behind this, but still this crisis needs to be investigated. Thus, I have selected certain pets to embark on a quest to find the culprit and bring back the faeries. Without your help, Neopia might never be the same again. Keep the magic alive, Sisturnia" Who's Sisturnia? Gamma thought, gazing at the letter. A quest? She must be kidding me, whoever she is... I don't feel that comfortable with faeries... After all, it was faeries that met Nelly's doom. Anyways, while thinking about this, Gamma noticed a post-script: "While you're there, open the book that you just put down to page 65." The book that I just put down? Gamma looked again at the bookshelf. Finally understanding which one Sisturnia meant, she picked up the petpet book and turned it to page 65, just as the letter instructed. On the page was a picture of a strange-looking mouse holding what looked like an umbrella. "The Psimouse, a pet native to the Haunted Woods. This mouse uses its third eye to see into the future, and it is believed to have other sorts of psychic powers as well." Why did Sisturnia want me to look here? Gamma wondered. This can't really help me, can it? It's just this description of a Psimouse, that's all... With increasing uncertainty, Gamma continued to read the page until the very bottom. "Psimice employ their visionary powers more effectively at night, especially when the moon and stars are out. Both are proven to broaden the mind and enhance any psychic abilities." That's it, that's all there is of the page... What could all this mean? Incredulous yet desperate, Gamma rescanned the page--still nothing. She groaned with frustration, beginning to give up. Then she sighed and decided to bide her time by looking at the picture of the Psimouse. She thought its umbrella-thingy strange, and of course its third eye was the most captivating feature. Gamma focused her attention on this eye because it was so peculiar... and within seconds she was staring right into it, failing to notice everything else around her. Although the transition was unnoticeable, suddenly all Gamma saw was blackness. In the next few moments, Gamma was stuck in a sort of trance, and a world that was certainly not part of Kreludor but somewhere in the dream plane. Something about that Psimouse eye sparked something in the spiritual realm, some magical event that pointed something in a certain fateful direction. In this realm, a certain type of song rang through--it sounded like a lullaby. The only noticeable sights in the place were a sort of indigo fog and black wisps that floated around occasionally. Gamma was floating too, and within moments she was sleeping. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ OOC: You don't need to receive a letter--but you do need to somehow get to Sisturnia's realm within a few of your own posts... Frankie
OOC: Hope this is ok... If not well ill think of something else... --- Airo was flying over the deserted fairgrounds by now and it looked as the name suggested, rather deserted, well except for a few empty game booths that charghed money for games she knew were most likely rigged or a waste. Only foolish humans would play them in hopes of winning big She thought as she landed carefully next to what looked like a white rock. She leaned her nose down and snorted on the object and it snorted back. "Wake up you lazy brute." Suddenly the object moved and a little head popped up and looked at her. It was a drackonack, a white one, and it blinked several times before completely realizing Airo was there. "Wake up spinner. We are going for a flight." She said coldly, ignoring its look of fear. You would expect to see fear on a drackonack but this one didnt like heights to much. He hopped up on her back however and she was into the air in no time. After some flying, and some silence, spinner snorted as if to say "im back here you know... and im cold!" So she slowed down a bit so the wind wasnt so rough. After a bit she noticed she was feeling a bit tired. She found a nice patch of dead grass to land in and as she slowed down to land the ground seemed to bend as if an invisable weight was pressing down on it. Suddenly a black hole opened up and before she could start upwards again it swollowed her up. She groaned a bit as she was sent sailing into darkness. Imp
OOC: A quick guide to my posts: Anything in red centers around Gamma Anything in purple centers around Sisturnia Anything in green centers around... someone else, in this case Kitepuka (Gamma's Feepit). IC: ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ It was the Moffit that finally woke Kitepuka up. However, she didn't notice she was awake that well--all things around were dark and silent, except for the fluttering of the Moffit's wings. For once, Kitepuka found her Moffit's annoying nature quite helpful. The darkness and the silence was very scary to her. "Gamma!" she called in a squeaky voice. "Nelly?" Her voice didn't even echo. Although Kitepuka had a thick fur coat, she began to feel cold--most of this was due to the ominous nature of the place, if it even was a place. Kitepuka had no idea how she got here--the last thing she remembered was being ambushed by a gang of fairy-ish creatures on a visit to Faerieland. As far as she could tell, her owner and her owner's owner were nowhere near. I never pictured Faerieland to be such a dark and scary place, thought the little Feepit. I have no powers! What if someone tries to attack me?? She listened cautiously, but apparently no one else was wherever she was, except of course for that Moffit. "You know, for once I love you... come here you buggy thing." * * * In a realm separate from the rest of Neopia, one filled with nothing but fog and occasional wispy things, there was a single "house". In it there were two rooms: a large rectangular room filled with books, potions, crystals, or just about anything a fortuneteller, magician, or alchemist would have in his/her quarters. There was also an empty red velvet chair in front of a bright green fire in a fireplace. The other room was right on top of it--it was much smaller and circular, and it had windows on all sides. Below these were doorways, and above each of them stood a sign showing a certain place in Neopia. Occasionally, the signs changed what they said, and sometimes doors appeared or disappeared. Sometimes the doors opened, and when they did, they showed what was happening in that particular place listed above. However, no one on the other side could see or go through the doors--the doorways were all filled with a magical barrier through which matter cannot pass, and through which light can only go in, not come out. These barriers were up all the time, for the most part... In the center of the room, a crystal ball was hanging from a string attached to the ceiling. Then there was a circular platform, and on top of it a revolving chair that looked exactly like the one near the fireplace in the other room. However, this one was filled--with Sisturnia. If one did see Sisturnia outside the realm she lived in, they would have mistaken her for a Darkness Faerie. She looked dark all over--curly black hair, dark purple eyes, black lips, shiny dark blue dress, black shawl, black gloves, black boots, shiny black wings... but there were exceptions. Her skin perfectly contrasted her hair, and aroun her waist was a misty purple sash with a star pattern. Yet the truth was, she was not a faerie of darkness nor evil--she was the long lost and forgotten Spirit Faerie. As Sisturnia turned around in her chair she noticed four doors. One said "Kiko Lake", one said "Deserted Fairgrounds", one said "Mystery Island", and the last one said "Kreludor". All the doors were open--their views focused on four different pets in the places listed. The Kiko Lake door showed a pink Xweetok falling into a bottomless pit that disappeared when she fell. "Perfect," Sisturnia said to herself. "There's one. I hope Bloom's up to this mission..." The Deserted Fairgrounds door showed a Halloween Uni being sucked into a black hole on the grass. The land had bent when the Uni touched the hole, but all returned to normal after it disappeared. "And that's two. Airobeth should be here any moment." The Kreludor door showed a Robot Acara inside a bookstore, looking at a Psimouse picture in a book. The Psimouse's third eye was glowing, and the Acara was subconsciously sucked into the eye... Then the book closed and fell on the ground. "Three down. I believe Gamma's on her way here too..." The Mystery Island door showed a Mutant Kougra in a forest, celebrating a well-fought battle. Near her was a Mootix riding on the back of a Mazzew. "And?" Sisturnia said impatiently. "Hmmm, what's taking Kaiyasolia so long? I hope she gets here soon..." ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ OOC: This quest will start on my next post, which should come on Tuesday. If Kaiyasolia doesn't find the way to Sisturnia's lair soon, she has until then to do it. But don't worry, Neuvoxraiha, if you can't post till later, you're still in--I'll just bring your Kougra to Sisturnia's lair somehow.
Frankie
The swirling blackness around Airo was a bit daunting for a moment or two but then Airo felt some what at ease. She felt rather calm, apparently she didnt mind dark places as much as she thought she did. Suddenly however things changed. Instead of the floating feeling she had a few seconds earlier she felt as though gravity was yanking at her and pulling her downwards. She fought against it with her wings but it did little to nothing to help. She lost balance began to somersault in blackness. Suddenly however she felt her front hooves hit solid ground and slide forward. ]Her head came into a place full of light compared to where she was but before she could look at where she was her hind end came following with enough force to flip her. With a loud thud she ended up on her back, she was staring at a ceiling now and could feel the cold floor under her. Her feet were bent slightly and she straightened them out quickly to roll herself back onto them. Even though it was flames surrounding her hooves she noticed it didnt seem to affect the floor. "Wierd, For the best, yes? Wouldnt want to burn this place down, speaking of which, Where am I?" Spinner, who had also went rolling, crawled back onto her back and waited. Airobeth looked around a little better after shaking her mane out of the way. She hadnt noticed this Faerie in the room before but she suddenly saw it and blinked blankly. "Uh, Are uh... You a darkness faerie?" Airobeth asked, Not scared at all, just shocked to see a faerie, What with all the dissapereances of them and such. Raiha
A tingling in her spine shook her out of the reverie. Kaiyasolia and her Mazzew with its Mooxtix felt a sudden jokt. All three turned to face the cliff that marked the end of Mystery Island. With a roar, the mutated Kougra began leaping forwards towards it. As she stopped at the side, the feeling of being watched persisted, so she took the only route availible. The Mazzew quickly dug in her claws and the Mootix hung on tight. Kaiyasolia quietly trotted down the cliffside, her claws sinking into the cold stone and giving her good purchase. It was late, and the moon rose full faced over the water below. Maraquan Peophins played quietly in the water below, their tails flicking the water, spreading out ripples. Almost instantly, the water changed, and Faerieland's beautiful billowing clouds appeared before her. Kaiyasolia looked down, her neck stretched out as she stood almost vertically on the cliff. Her ears prickled slightly and she felt a tingling in her spine. Like being drawn on a hook, she felt herself being pulled forwards to the clouds. She sank her claws in deep, then she shoved forwards, bunching her muscles and propelling herself straight for the clouds themselves. As she leapt, she withdrew her claws back into the pads of her feet, releasing herself from the cliff in the same instant. Her tail fanned out and she spread her claws once more as she passed through the portal, and into the dark of darkest places in Faerieland. Once she landed, her claws clicked on what felt like stone, and she rotated her gigantic ears slowly, listening for sounds besides the rumble of her own purring. Instantly, the smell of magic and faeriedust flickered into her nostrils and she took off at a dead run, following the unmistakeable smell of magic, feeling strength pour off her limbs. Imp
OOC: All right, it is time... IC: ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ "No I am not," Sisturnia answerd the confused Uni with a little giggle. "Whoa!" Sisturnia jumped as a mutant Kougra and a Mazzew came boinding out of the Mystery Island Door. Sisturnia quicly crossed her arms and focused her energies, apparently on the center of the room... for the center seemed to shine with a clear sort of shield that had just formed around it. The Kougra bumped into this wall before causing any damage. "Well, Kaiyasolia, what a surprising entrance!" Sisturnia exclaimed, after which she started to calm herself down again. A few seconds later, a pink Xweetok slid out from the Kiko Lake door, looking just as puzzled and astounded as everyone else. And finally, a sleeping robot Acara slid out from the Kreludor door. Sisturnia had to pat the Acara on the head then snap her fingers at it--part of a spell she used for awakening. Sure enough, this was achieved. It was then that Sisturnia made her announcement. "So, we're finally all here. Kaiyasolia, Airobeth, Bloom, and Gamma, and all your petpets and petpetpets, my humblest welcome." By that time, all the pets had fallen silent, hoping to catch a speck of information, and the answers to their questions about this happening. Sisturnia cleared her throat to command attention, then continued: "Now that you have all arrived, it is time that you know why you are here, and what is to become of you all in the near future. I have called you four here on a special mission, a chance to really prove yourselves as well as the ultimate glory: saving Neopia from a terrible fate. Some of you may have already noticed this, but faeries have been disappearing rapidly from Neopia for some unknown reason. And it's not just the good faeries--Jhudora and the other evil faeries have disapeared as well. Your job is to find the culprit behind this, to punish him/her/it, and to return the faeries to Neopia, peace and magic above all. Without them, Neopia would never be the same. Now, I would go out and find them on my own, but I have vowed to remain here, hidden from the rest of Neopia for eternity--a great sacrifice for survival here. I bear this fate forever, so I instead call upon a group of worthy pets to solve this mission. That's where you come in." Many of the pets were surprised by Sisturnia's statement; thoughts of saving the world, responsitbility, risk, honor, or anything else that may go with a mission such as this surged through their minds. "May I set up a few guidelines before you begin," Sisturnia continued, commanding attention once more. "Though you may go your separate ways to solve this mission, I personally recommend that you stick together as it will decrease your chances of being picked off by whatever enemies should await you. Yes, I perceive some sort of conflict, possibly even battles of sorts... so this will also be a test of your abilities." "You mean we'll have to fight?" Bloom blurted. She was uneasy with the idea, as she didn't have that many abilities and no weapons to use in battles. Many other pets had similar feelings, especially Gamma. And I don't even have Kitepuka to help me, Gamma worried. Sisturnia heaved a great sigh after which she continued in a grave tone, "Yes, I am sorry to inform you that there is a chance that some of you will not make it, but we can only hope for what fate will bring us..." Everyone fell silent at this remark. "Anyways, continuing on," Sisturnia broke the ice. "Yes, it is true that you may face some battles or instances where certain powers will prove quite useful..." There were feelings of confusion in the audience. Powers? What powers? "Ah, this is where it gets interesting," Sisturnia replied with a confident smile on her face. "Kaiyasolia, will you please step forward." Everyone fixed their gaze on the mutant Kougra as she stepped forward. Kaiyasolia appeared quite serious yet still had no idea what this meant. She also felt a little excited--she loved the idea of battles and such. Whatever came up, she was eager... "Leave your Mazzew there please," Sisturnia commanded. Though Kaiyasolia just looked from side to side as if to spot the Mazzew, it was the petpet that obeyed her ordersand slid off Kaiyasolia's back. Kaiyasolia noticed this and continued to walk forward until she was standing right in front of Sisturnia. "You will be my guinea pig, O bravehearted and ruthless one." As Sisturnia said this, she bent down and put her right hand on Kaiyasolia's forehead as if to feel if she had a fever. "Don't move..." Sisturnia told her, "and try not to think either. This won't hurt a bit." And with that, Sisturnia began the incantation... "Motes of power, spirits of the Scythe, focus your powers and unite! Unite--for the destroyer, for the blade..." As she said this, her hand glowed, and Kaiyasolia felt a strange yet wonderful and empowering energy flow through her. It felt like a dip in the Healing Spring--only with the addition of a greater, mysterious power... Yet seconds later, Sisturnia removed her hand and gazed down at Kaiyasolia. "Kaiyasolia, I grant you a deadly slash, one which can tear the limbs off any weak-bodied individual, destroyer as you are... And, through the powers of rage and imtimidation, I also bid that you may power this up to take on stronger foes, given the will of Time. As is my will, as are the divine powers of fate, belief, and inspiration." With a clap of her hands, Sisturnia ended this and dismissed Kaiyasolia back to where she sat before. "Bloom!" Sisturnia called. Jumping to her feet and trembling slightly, Bloom crept slowly towards Sisturnia, wondering what would happened to her. One thing was sure, though--at least she wasn't first. As she had done with Kaiyasolia, Sisturnia put her hand to Bloom's forehead and spoke the incantation once more. "Motes of flame, motes of play, focus your energies and rejoice inside the soul that lies before you! Awaken--for the rising star, that friendly fire..." As before, Sisturnia hand glowed, and a surge of soothing yet invigorating energy flowed through Bloom, warming her from the inside out, her very heart to the last toe. It was relaxing, but at the same time deeply energizing. Seconds later, Sisturnia removed her hand to speak her next words to the Xweetok. "Bloom, I grant you inner fire, powers that rage from inside your heart, your soul, to overcome any troubles that may try to block your way to happiness. Powers of fire, a spiral cyclone, motes of flame that originate from the lively breath I see inside of you. See this as the key to confidence and self-fulfillment, for your world is what you make of it. As is my will, as are the divine powers of fate, belief, and inspiration." A clap of her hands meant that Sisturnia was done with Bloom, who walked slowly back over to her original position with Stella, her Angelpuss. She was in a sort of trance, like she couldn't believe what was just granted to her. "Airobeth!" was the third one called. With a bit of enthusiasm and anticipation, the Halloween Uni stepped forward until she too met the seemingly dark faerie. Soon, Airobeth too felt Sisturnia's hand on her forehead. As Airobeth got used to this new feeling, Sisturnia spoke the incantation... "Motes of energy, of flame and of light, let your holy rays converge onto this dear Uni's precious horn, let the energies surge through till they cover all areas of the bodily temple..." As soon as the final word was spoken, Airobeth felt the surge of energy Sisturnia spoke of--it felt healing as well as awakening, as if a new door had opened inside her soul, something that had not been looked at before... Yet as Airobeth again got used to it, it began to slip away, though the energy remained. Sisturnia's hand was removed, and soon the faerie spoke again: "Airobeth, I grant you the power that awakens in your very soul, your horns and your feet in particular. I welcome you now to trod on those hooves of fire, to let your energies blaze in a whirl of courage and passion that will show those bullies who's really weak. And your horn--let these new energies stun anyone that meets its contact--the very workings of karma, revenge for an assault on a glorious Uni like yourself. Keep the spirit alive! As is my will, as are the divine powers of fate, belief, and inspiration." And with that, she dismissed Airobeth back to where Spinner waited. The Uni felt like a new Uni, and new confidence raged in her just as Sisturnia wished. "Gamma!" The final pet was called to the stage. Sighing and bowing her head, she walked up until she was near Sisturnia. Withing seconds, Sisturnia placed her hand on Gamma's metallic forehead. Immediately electrical as well as spiritual energies began to buzz through Gamma from its holy source--Gamma felt wonderful for once. She began to feel flattered and started to cry inside--did she really deserve this?--but she tried her best to calm her emotions, just this once. A moment later, Sisturnia's voice came again. "Motes of mind and nerve, of the kinetic forces that inscribe in the workings of the mind and trickle down through the body... Make yourselves known inside her, life yourselves to awaken a higher power..." The energies felt before were nothing compared to a new wave of them caused by this spell. For the first time in perhaps forever, Gamma really felt her mind, body, and soul awaken to the new power that surged through her. She felt energixed, she felt healed, she felt certainly like a different Acara. Though Sisturnia soon after removed her hand, the energies resonated through Gamma in her mind. Meanwhile, Sisturnia's words continued to come. "Gamma, I grant you a higher mind, electrical and visionary forces that are only enhanced by the powerful states of mind you constantly find yourself in. With this power of electricity, you can really tap into the frces in others and the environment, and to really express and release your true energies. And as with those robotic eyes of yours, let their qualities be enhanced as well... I infuse them with a force that will thwart the mind of the onlooker should you call upon their power, and whether it take control or simply confound. Should you need to release those energies in attack, I bid you may do so. Perhaps this will lead you astray from your feelings. As is my will, as are the divine powers of fate, belief, and inspiration." With a clap of her hands, Sisturnia sent Gamma back to her original spot, the only one without a petpet. Gamma still felt the energies as she tried to make sense out of Sisturnia's final words. "Now, all of you!" Sisturnia once again commanded attention. "I hope that answers your inquiries, for you have just been given special powers that will indeed help you in those critical situations." Some of the pets oohed at this statement. "Now I believe it is about time for you to go, but before I release you, I have something for all of you." Sisturnia held up her hand again, and four bright green orbs materialized above it. All these morphed into sorts of electronic devices which matched the color of all the pets in the room. Sisturnia gave one of these to each pet. "I understand that you may encounter difficulties and confusions on your quest, or you may just nead reassurance. Whatever the reason, I give you these communicators. With these devices, you may talk to me or any of your fellow travelers. Note that I will be watching you on this quest whenever I can--but other than that I let you all free." With those final words, Sisturnia turned her attention to a door, which now said "Neopia Central" above it. She then led the pets to stand right behind this door as she said her goodbyes. "I wish you all the best of luck. Remember your mission: seek out the faeries and defeat the bane behind the disappearances. Now go--the fate of all Neopia rests in your hands." And with that, the pets exited the door into Neopia Central--which seemed to exit right out of the Rainbow Fountain--their abilities also included passing through the magical borders on Sisturnia's doors. When everyone was out, Sisturnia closed the door--it was all up to fate now.
