There's quite a bit to say about this but... I don't feel like saying anything right now :p

So i'll just post this image and answer your questions/comments as they come up.

Meh okay what I will say is that I am addressing the graininess of the picture, the image is incomplete, and when it's all said and done I should be able to create a few different color variations of the skin.

- Also I used pink because... Nobody uses pink...

I really do like the skin. It has that sorta sleekness to it that you really don't find that much around message boards anymore. The skin as a whole looks very clean - a definite good thing.

The top image has its goods and bads. First off...well, it's a cool image. ^^;; From what I can tell, it's either a crossover of various anime/video game characters or just a really good fanart. :3
But the guy's head gets chopped off. I dunno if he's just mutilated like that or if you really want it to be that way. If you combine that with the various other suits coming down from the top, a once cool image is sort of losing its shine and appearing a little n00b-ish. (*screams*)
Resizing the image might help in order to get the guy's head back in but still leave the original people there. And even though it's a pain, if you were to get rid of all the other suit things coming down, that would also give it a boost in sheek.

...And I just don't get that line running across...If it 'twas more pixely (like, if it had a block effect going on), that would seem pretty cool, since it would go with the theme.

I love the logo though. X3 It's coolios. And overall, the skin is great. It's just the top image and the little nitpicky stuff that goes with it.

I'm gonna leave with this cruncy nugget: I'm fully aware that you probably realize most of this stuff. XD It goes with me too, and it goes with just about any webmaster...or graphic designer.

Wai~! What a luuurvly color scheme, HZ! Though I am not an avid fan of black backgrounds, you managed to put some oomph into the whole thing by using a bright shade of pink and a touch of white. Them gray boxes ain't shabby either. What can I say? You've got a knack for choosing the right shade of color, chief.

It's ze Turks!
The top banner looks clean. A bit [i]too[/i] clean, in my opinion. Perhaps you can add in a subtle, barely-there background, just to connect the logo with the rest of the image. Also, I suggest that you rearrange the Turks and maybe edit out those whose faces we don't see (and 'cause Reno looks like he just popped his head out of the menu for a quick spy. Move him up for great justice! ;P). It's a laborious task, but it's duck soup to an artist of your caliber, yeah?

And just to complement the saturated shades you used, maybe you can brighten the banner as well? Bet it'd look really balanced after that, with Elena's and Reno's flashy hair colors and all.

Well there are a lot of suggestions in both of your threads and a lot of things I agree with so the easiest thing to do will just post an update of the skin sometime tomorrow =D

But I will say that I agree with you about the Turks image (in some regards).

I got the scan off of [url]www.animepaper.net[/url] but I just took a screenshot of the image because I didn't want to use my "paperpoints" (the currency you get for posting on their forum) to download the full-sized scan... I recently downloaded the full-sized scan so I think it will look less grainy and a higher quality when it's all said and done.

The white line you see across the image was actually part of the scan, since i'm lazy rather than editing it out I just extended the line across the banner =P. I'll edit out the line and see how the banner looks but whether or not I keep the line is really up in the air at this time...

Cut-off characters = bad. Or at least that's normally the way I think as well; it's one of my pet peeves when I rate someone's signature. The one reason why I left some of cut-off characters is because they take up space and as it is the banner is rather bare. Meh once again i'll have to edit out the characters and then make a decision on whether or not to cut them out completely or not :=P!

That turned out as more of a rant than anything else, but I appreciate the feedback.
