Anime Didnt see that coming

Ever had that anime that caught you totally bye surprise.for me probly the ending to paranoia agent it was good I loved it but wow totally caught me bye suprise. :cool:

I was surprised by the end of Wolfs Rain I mean [spoiler]all the main chacters were killed[/spoiler] I never expected that.

Full Metal Alchemist caught me by suprise. I dont like it and I thought it would flop but then we all saw what happened. I still hate it though.

[size=1]Paranoia Agent... Well, I wouldn't say it was that surprising... Just kind of creepy. I mean, the last couple of episodes would lead up to that... ending and all.

As for Wolf's Rain, with [spoiler]all the characters gone[/spoiler], and even moreso with [spoiler]Kiba dying as paradise was open[/spoiler], I thought it was really sad. This was also something I think was kind of lead up to. Although, with [spoiler]the whole story starting over again[/spoiler] in the end, it kind of made me have mixed feelings. Overall, I didn't think it was that surprising.

I think the ending to Marmalde Boy... They made the anime kind of blagh compared to the manga, I think. It was kind of surprising, with a mix of disappointment. I don't know, I have a lot of thoughts on that series. :animeangr [/size]

Yeah, as soon as I saw this topic heading I thought of wolf's rain. When Cher [spoiler] died in the earthquake [/spoiler], it was so incredibly sudden and unexpected I actually had to stop the dvd for a minute while I processed it. I couldn't believe that something this major could happen so abruptly and without warning. As the others [spoiler] were picked off one by one [/spoiler], it was a little easier to take. Still horrifying and tragic, but at least not quite so heart stopping ([spoiler] at least until Tsume killed Hige, but that was shocking in a whole other way[/spoiler]).

[color=#4B0082]I think the only thing that's really taken me by surprise in anime, at least so far, has been the lack of closure in some series' endings. Especially with Ranma 1/2. . . . Though reading the manga cleared that one up. But there've been a few times where I've been sitting there during the last few episodes, expectantly waiting for such-and-such loose ends to be resolved -- and then the series ends. And I'm left going, "Wait...what? But...but..."

That really puts a damper on my after-series musings.[/color]

I was a bit shocked when I saw Nadesico,its starts off with them fighting aliens, but [COLOR=Black]I couldnt believe that the aliens were actually [spoiler]humans that had come from jupiter[/spoiler] due to, well Im not going to say anymore[/COLOR] :animesmil

Dot hack ledgend of the twlight was like what the heck and i still want more. when i saw the end of dot hack gift ending credits though all i did was :animenose

You know ya I felt the same way about that.ohh another shocking ending I saw was jin roh so sad.that was a great movie in my oppinion :D

Sure, it was the end of the series, but not the end of the story. I couldn't believe it, it was just as if the producers became lazy and wrapped it up quickly in a last-ditch effort to keep the fans somewhat satisfied as they shut the project down. I mean, come on! I haven't even read the manga yet! I'm sure there are various differences between the series and the manga, and I'll probably have to reassemble the story bit-by-bit in my mind.

yeah i was really confused when Wolf's Rain ended it kinda didn't make sense to me at first because i really would expect someething to end like that.

Just saw grave of the fireflyes very very sad Great great movie though I thought the ending was good but suprising.saw wolf rain recently as well ya I see what you guys are say. :animesmil
