Anime anime voice actors

i know it's kind of random, but i just always thought that for some anime characters, they could choose a better voice. llike for example, Naruto's voice, it's just kind of girly almost. And the pharoah from yu-gi-oh, his voice is WAY to old!!!!
Also, i resently saw Fullmetal Alchamist, and Al's voice is so....childish, i know he's suppose to be young and all, but ........ (i don't mean to offend anyone, so if i do, please forgive me :animecry: )

i dunno... i usually don't like a voice over if the person has a really annoyin voice..but yeah sometimes the voices just really don't match the person. i agree Al's from Full Metal is really childish... i mean sure he's in a suit of armor but he'd me 13 or 14 right?? but i also don't like Al...he's a retard...i kinda wish he'd just die....

Yes, Naruto's voice is annoying and I think that Sasuke's is a bit [B]too[/B] mature for him. I mean, c'mon. He's a twelve-year-old boy and he sounds (to me) like a guy at the age of sixteen...
I have various rants about how voices from badly-dubbed-by-4kids bother me (trust me, I can go on about it forever) but I will shorten it to: I hate the voice that 4kids (t3h 3vil) stuck Faust-kun with at the beginning of the series. :animeangr To add to the stupidity, they changed his voice actor the next time he popped up in the series. I actually liked all of the FMA voice actors. Sure, Al's voice was a little immiture, but then again, it sort of fit his personality, or at least I think so. As for Yami Yugi, well he's a 5000-year-old pharaoh, right? He should sound fairly old, or at the least, more mature than Yugi.

And don't get me started about Naruto... I have many scars with American Naruto... I don't wanna talk about it... S-s-sorry... :animedepr ::rocks back and forth::

Al is supose to sound childish...anyway...the only voice I found to be bothersome was the voice of Risa Harada from D.N.Angel, I really didn't like her to begin with but after I watched the anime and heard her voice I hated her even more...otherwise the show was good! I think Vic Mignogna is an awesome VA! and would choose him over the original anyday...not that Romi is bad and does a lousy job, I love watching FMA in japanese...I just like Vic more...*shrug*

i totally agree with you but we sometimes have to deal with the actors they choose. i know there area few shows that i want to change the voice on, but i've learned to accept it. :catgirl:

in both the subbed and the dubbed version of Naruto the voice of Naruto was pretty dead on. The only bad thing is the acting. Naruto is supposed to be a loud annoying kid and they got it
