[size=1]So, apparently, this movie was made in 2004. However, I don't remember this movie at all. What happened? Why was the release held off for two years? Was it shown overseas only for the past two years? I'm so lost...but it looks amazing. If anyone can really explain this to me, I'd appreciate it, lol.[/size]

Here's the Wiki link for you Sweet-Pea, and it had a few other links to the Official Site and the like. I remember the film coming out in Ireland last year but I didn't bother going to see it as I didn't really have the time or the interest to spend about ten euro to see it. I think it's due out on DVD soon in Ireland but aside from that I don't really much. Is it only out near you know ?[/SIZE]

All I know is that Johnny Depp is in it... and that's a good enough reason for me to go!! He usually tends to pick really good roles and acts them out amazingly.
I don't recall any buzz about it before, but than again, I don't pay much attention to Hollywood, unless I see a preview of a good movie.
I believe it's hitting Canadian theaters this Friday.

[SIZE=1]Yeah I went to see it last year sometime, so it was out in the UK. Its pretty lurid in some scenes but on the whole I found it to be quite entertaining. Johnny portrays Rochester in a sort of Lestat-esque manner, which is especially apparent in the beginning and ending monologues.

I reccommend it.[/SIZE]
