Questions about Stargate SG-1

[color=#9955ff][font=papyrus]Ok I have some questions about Stargate SG-1 because I'm writing a fanfic with a few references to one of the episodes that a friend of mine mentioned and said I should use in a fanfic and now I would like to know a bit about the show so I can be better informed and not botch the story.

I know most of you are wondering why not just watch the show myself/ The answer is simple: I can't. It comes on at 6PM my time and that's usually when I'm making dinner and my dad is watching the news downstairs. So it's not possible for me to watch the show on a regular basis- although I did watch a half hour of it today and was getting into it before I realized that it was nearly seven and I had to start dinner.

So any help or information would be greatly appreciated. Also just discussing the show in general would be nice.

Fascinating to hear you're writing a Stargate fanfic Chibi, you'll have to let us all read it chapter by chapter when you've finished it. As one half of OtakuBoard's resident Stargate fanatics, the other being Bill [Jokopoko], I'd be glad to help you with any aspect of the fanfic itself, although having been away from home the last few weeks I've missed the newest episodes of Season Nine. [color=#9934][font=Bradley hand ITC]Well, I was actually thinking of writing a story along the lines of that skit form All That, KNow YOur Stars where a voice messes up information.

I already did one for WinX Club and it turned out very well, I have twelve chapters and over one hundred reviews. But the problem is that I don't know much about the show except that even when I don't watch it Wraith's feeding noises freak me out.

I'm glad that at least one person is excited about this. I don't know how long it will take before I can understand the show. Although I've been joking with the friend who introduced me to the show that I may understand it by the time I'm thirty- and I only have five more years.

My other idea- which may start people looking for me so they can crash my computer is taking some things from SG-1 and using them in a Winx Fic- IE Window of Opportunity since that's the episode my friend suggested.

I'm actually starting to get into the show... heck I may even try to watch the episodes this week.
