I'm going to assume that you double-posted because of space constraints. Otherwise, though, please keep in mind that we normally forbid submitting consecutive posts. It would also have been nice if you offered a little more guidance regarding what you expect from this thread, even if it does seem self-evident.

That aside, it must have taken a lot of time to set this up, and I think it's amazingly convenient. It would be particularly nice if we could talk about some of the more niche shows in here, once they actually start airing... a lot of series just aren't well-known enough to support their own threads, but if people used this thread to post mini-reviews or first impressions, that would work out pretty nicely. We'll see, I guess.

I'm definitely watching the following series. This doesn't mean I'll stick with them, naturally--it just means that I'll make sure to check them out when they start airing.

[SIZE=1][b][url=http://www.strawberrypanic.com/]Strawberry Panic[/url][/b]: Who am I to say no to what looks like high-drama yuri? It seems to be based on a manga made up of short stories, which has me feeling slightly nervous, but hopefully there will be some recurring couples.
[b][url=http://www.toei-anim.co.jp/tv/airgear/]Air Gear -Ama Kakeru Tsubasa-[/url][/b]: It looks cool, and if they don't screw it up, Air Gear could become very popular. It has fanservice for both genders. I don't expect a whole lot out of this--as long as it has slick animation and is relatively well-scripted, I'm there.
[b][url=http://www.ntv.co.jp/host/]Ouran Kouko Host Club (Ouran High School Host Club)[/url][/b]: The manga is hysterical, the main character is voiced by Maaya Sakamoto, and it's being animated by BONES. It's a win-win-win situation.
[b][url=http://www.pri-pri.jp/]Princess Princess[/url][/b]: Taishi Zaou (the manga-ka)! Atsuko Nakajima (the character designer)! I'll watch this even if it turns out to be downright painful. [/SIZE]

Funny, I thought the Paradise Kiss anime was one of the better shows of the recent season (Blood+ being the best), but I just could never get into the Nana manga. I don't know what to expect the show to be like.

I do seem to be in the minority there; the directing style of Paradise Kiss annoyed me, and I didn't like any of the characters enough to continue. Anyway, I feel as though we should know who Nana's director is, but ANN doesn't have him listed yet, and I can't really be bothered to look elsewhere, haha. I guess it could be more like the manga version than the Paradise Kiss anime was, or it could be even more different.

I didn't care for the Nana manga either. I've been meaning to watch the live-action movie, though.

God yes, now we're talking. Diebuster episode 4 was probably pound for pound the most stunning set of 30 minutes I've seen in an anime for a good year or two. Plus it gave us the quote that should rightly be sitting in the sigs of every message board denizen who's ever even [i]heard[/i] of anime: "A true nonogiri has a buster machine in her heart!" I don't know if episode 5 can even begin to improve on something like that, but I'm eager for them to try.

The Digimon savers looks a little effie, though. I'm not a huge fan of Digimon, but I used to like it when I was younger. They kinda messed it up by having older characters, and there's only three of them. I herd about a fifth season of Digimon a while back, but it wasn't this one, and it looked alot better. It hasn't came out though, and it's been a while, so i'm not really expecting it to come out. But like I said, i'm not really into it anymore.[/color][/font]

So, another anime new this spring is Gundam Seed Stargazer
the third Gundam Seed and maybe the last. 10 April official site will be opened and first episode will show actually near that date. Just wanted to announce it, so every Gundam Seed lover like me is prepared :P

OHHH a new .hack thing cool i'll be sure to chekc that one out ^_^ haha i've seen all of the .hack things and i'm working through the 4th game for Ps2 ^_^

Well, I claimed I would talk about trailers. But I'm leaving out [b][url=http://www.soul-link.com/]Soul Link[/url][/b], [b][url=http://www.girls-high.net/]Joshikosei GIRL'S-HIGH[/url][/b], [b]Demonbane[/b], [b][url=http://www.sasami-club.net/]Sasami Mahou Shoujo Club[/url][/b], [b][url=http://www.utaware.net/]Utawareru Mono[/url][/b] and [b][url=http://www.garkun.com/]Yoshinaga-sanchi no Gargoyle[/url][/b]... unless someone really wants me to describe them in detail. I just don't feel much like discussing trailers for shows that I may or may not end up watching.

The last two did look promising, to be fair; Utawareru Mono has a "Twelve Kingdoms with bishoujo" vibe, and Yoshinaga-sanchi no Gargoyle appears to have excellent animation, even if the idea of a "heartful, happy comedy" (or whatever they were billing it as) strikes fear in my heart.

[b][url=http://www.strawberrypanic.com/]Strawberry Panic[/url][/b]: You would assume that yuri series would attempt to avoid the seme/uke cliches so often found in boys' love anime. Well, you assumed wrong. The apparent onee-sama looks way too bishounen for my tastes, complete with the long, flowing silver hair. Hopefully the main character will have more of a spine than Maria-sama ga Miteru's Yumi. I'm not holding my breath, though.

[b][url=http://www.simoun.tv/]Simoun[/url][/b]: All the trailer really does is underline the fact that the show is going to be very pretty. I'll confess that I'm content with that.

[b][url=http://www.bs-i.co.jp/anime/kanon/]Kanon Remake[/url][/b]: Yeah, it's not coming out until this fall. Cut me a little slack here, because Kyoto Animation's version of Kanon is actually going to be [i]the greatest show ever[/i]. Direction by Tatsuya Ishihara? Check. Twenty-four episodes of lavish KyoAni goodness? Check. All five girls as main characters? Check. Excuse me while I wipe the drool off my keyboard. If anything has the potential to surpass AIR, this is it.

ETA: I forgot .hack//Roots, because I'm stupid.

[b][url=http://www.tv-tokyo.co.jp/anime/hack_roots/].hack//Roots[/url][/b]: I can't say the trailer was particularly informative, but it actually does give me hope. The character designs and even the animation style seem somehow different (albeit slightly so) from your usual Bee Train stuff. I'm guessing that this is going to be more like the original .hack anime than the Twilight Bracelet one, although there were several comedic moments in the trailer.
