My first ever digitally colored drawing with my new tablet. :) I like the wings, but I want to know what you guys think. Critique wanted please.

[color=DarkOrange][b][size=1]I really like the artwork jigglyness. He's almost bishie material. ^_^

On a more serious note though, I think the background compliments the character well. The light colours don't distract from the character at all. Some artworks I've seen have been very lacking in that way.

The actual character himself is very well done. If there was one thing I would pick at would be the slanting of the shoulders. Maybe just a bit too 'going downwards' per say. But that's only a very minor thing.

Other than that, it's a very well done (and cute) piece of artwork. ^_^[/color][/b][/size]

Retribution, you must get tired repeating yourself. I apologize for not readin' the forum rules when I came in the first time. So sorry--hope you can forgive me. {·t_t·}

As for the picture, Jigglyness; I like how you coloured and shaded the drawing, but in my opinion, I think a tad more detail in the arms of the wings would bring it out and perhaps darker tones to make the dude bolder--bring out the definition of the creases in the clothes and depth in the body.

I love the hair, and the expression is intense. Not sure what you're tryin' to say to me--a different stance might convey the expression clearer.

Oh, and I agree 'bout the shoulders with Reiku--too low.

Other than that, it's damn good! ;)

You are far better than me in digital colourin'--I seriously suck! I'm in the midst of teachin' myself--without a manual--to use Corel Painter. It's a complicated program.
