Anime What anime ending confused you?

As far as I know the end of the T.V. series of Full Metal is just the begining of the movie. And it would help to see the episodes.

Well as far as I know the end of the series is the begining of the movie, and I cant tell you what happend it would spoil it, but it would help to see the episodes leading up to it.

DNAngel, the ending confused me. The series left people to imagine what would happen, but I'm not good at that, so I didn't get it.

.hack//Legend of the Twilight had a really confusing ending, mainly because it even said it didn't have an ending. To me that explanation just seemed like a way to avoid closing all the loopholes which just felt lazy. I was still confused... [spoiler]so Shugo found Aura finally, so what? It never explained what happened after they completed the event, why Aura gave him the bracelet, whether CC Corp. still hunted for him or his party, or anything. [/spoiler] There was a whole bunch in that series that made absolutely no sense [spoiler](the breaking of the Spear of Voltan, for instance)[/spoiler] unless you read both volumes of AI Buster, which didn't even come out in the States until much after Twilight. While we're there, AI Buster was a little confusing as well. All the talk of Morganna and "God" and the bounds of the game really flew over my head.

[size=1]I am not particularly happy with DNAngel. I mean, the story of the anime just goes off course so much, that the ending is just [b][i]there[/b][/i]!!! The manga of DNAngel isn't even finished, and they changed the whole story completely for the anime. I mean, for some reason, the anime made it so that the whole ordeal with [spoiler]the painting and Daisuke being sucked in with the second hand of time thing[/spoiler] such a lead into the ending, even though it really had nothing to do with each other. While in the manga, the story continues even further with it. [/size]

I was about to say something about the FMA ending, but it seems some of you have beat me to it.

Anyway, as for the most confusing anime ending, to me, it's my most recently finished anime, Elfen Lied. [spoiler]It looked as if Lucy was killed by the research facility, because A- the camera zooms to the sky as shots are being fried, and B- what appear to be Lucy's vectors shoot into view, as if she had no intention to fight back. But THEN, as the credits roll, Kouta appears to have that visitor, and the hadow at the door closely resembles that of Lucy, without the horns (which would make MORE sense, since both were shot off at two different times in the final episode), but since we never see Kouta open the door, the world may never know. Although, the fact that the old grandfather clock started ringing as Kouta went to the door (since it hadn't worked at all) may also hold some significance.[/spoiler]

I know the anime follows the first 64 or so chapters of the manga, but the manga currently is not in the U.S. at this present time, and, I can not find the manga online ANYWHERE, so if the question is answered in the manga, I wouldn't know.

Well, there's my rather long input on the subject. Chances are this may get overlooked, but oh well. XD

Yeah. I was going to say this anime. The ending of Samurai Deeper Kyo is more annoying than confusing though. Its like [spoiler]just tell us who she stays with, tell us.[/spoiler] I watched the ending again and again.[spoiler] The man who falls at the end of the fight has short hair as does the man with Yuya at the end. Most people expect this man to be Kyoshiro.But something in the face (even if its shaded) tells me otherwise.[/spoiler] As for the others hearing Yuya's voice.[spoiler] Thats Sanada at war with Edo, yes; as Yukimura comments on Benitora's stregy. But them hearing her voice is like, their remembering her, and everything that happened. I think[/spoiler] :animestun. Their 'fighting for the joy of fighting'. As they say over and over in the manga. Which has a comletely different story by the way.

Berserk: Im just confused to as why they stopped their that is an awful spot to end it.

Kare Kano: I didn't understand the end beacuse the words went across the screen to damn fast grrr

D.N.Angel confused me. I didn't really understand what happened to the black wings. Or what happened to Dark and Krad. And is Dark [spoiler]coming back[/spoiler] I mean I know Dark is not [spoiler]coming back as Daisuke[/spoiler] but I'm wondering if [spoiler]his son will become Dark because they said something about Dark being the black wings[/spoiler] or something like that.

i agree that EOE provided more closure but the show ending was very good the only thing was the difficulty to under stand the last two episodes i mean really who could fully understand that
also omg eva fans, the alternate universe that they show in the end of the series is being made into a manga series, newtype subscribers probably already got the first volume in the magazine. but any ways it called "angelic days" im gonna go start a thread on it so feel free to join in :animeknow

Dude, the last two episodes were easy to follow. Once I was done being amazed by how awesome they were, I was actually kinda dissappointed cuz everyone said they were so crazy but I thought they were easy. I mean come on, they say the same thing soo many times you practically memorize it. No doubt, it was my favorite ending to any series. i dont know... maybe it's because i think just like those two episodes.

That's the only anime ending that has truly annoyed me. There have been some speculations on this, however.

[spoiler]If the winner of the duel were to be Kyo, then there's the possibility that he could've cut his hair. Some have even pointed out that at the end when they close in on the shaded man's face there's a tuft of red hair that is showing.[/spoiler]

I haven't had the chance to confirm this but if anyone else does, well have at it.

The ending of Gantz was confusing. I think the director left it up to the viewer to decide what happens. [spoiler] Kei is on the subway tracks and the subways approcahing he lifts his fingers and goes BANG! Then Gantz dissapers[/spoiler] I have no idea what happens to Kei I wish it was explained better. It felt cut off just like the Getbackers ending.

Personally I wanted Lord Van and Hitomi to stay together in Escaflowne and I don't understand why she had to go back to Earth.
